Trance Vinyl New Releases - News

After recruiting Myon & Shane 54 to his Las Vegas 'Search' last year, for 2014 Richard has
invited none other than Lange to guest mix the third and final 'Dubai' disc. Over 80 minutes he
brings together both the best of the underground with music from some of its scene-wide
legends. I.S.O.S. forefather Tiesto's 'Just Be' (in its newly reworked Kris O'Neil form), Andy
Moor's 'Fade To Light', 'Out Of Coverage' by Bobina and his own remake of 'A Different Shade
Of Crazy' are just some of the big-name highs. Newer production names shine just as bright, as
music from Tangle, Johnny Yono, Danilo Ercole, Dimension and others define and refine
Lange's 'Dubai' vision.

'In Search Of Sunrise 12: Dubai Mixed by Richard Durand & Lange' brings what MIXMAG calls
"the greatest trance series of them all" a new level high.

On May 23rd, Digital Punk will unleash his new compilation album with the hardest and latest tracks of the moment! Digital Punk is known for his banging hits as 'Rebel to the Grave' and 'Natural Born Killers', but success really struck him with his podcast 'Digital Punk - Unleashed'. Right from the start, Unleashed reached top 5 positions in iTunes every month. The Unleashed compilation CD will contain the biggest hits of the podcast, but you'll also hear many exclusive tracks. Are you ready to be Unleashed Mark May 23rd in your agenda, and make sure you are the first to own the Digital Punk - Unleashed Compilation album!

After Gareth's no1 selling debut artist album 'Northern Lights' the follow up is ready and as Gareth says himself "It's all about songs and melodies and a step away from EDM festival drops - yes, there are a varieties of styles represented, but each and every track is absolutely Gareth Emery."

A few of the tracks have been tested extensively in his recent worldwide live sets and tweaked many times based on crowd reaction (Firebird, Javelin, Layers, Entrada) but he's most excited about some of the vocalists. "As usual, I wanted to stay away from big name artists and work with as many people as possible who hadn't sung on dance tracks before, so I've recruited a few people from the worlds of acoustic music, some songwriters, and one vocalist who works in a shop that we found singing covers on YouTube. I doubt he'll be there for long though, he's absolutely incredible."
The two forefront vocalists from the album and featuring on the first two singles are Chicago's finest new talent Krewella & the UK's songstress Bo Bruce who sung the first single 'U' which has gone down extremely well "Her voice is just next level and I'm sure this won't be the only track we do together."
Finally, Christina Novelli returns for a track, as does Gareth's sister Roxanne who also co-wrote a number of the other songs on the album. "All in all i'm pretty excited to share this with you."

great super succesful trance anthem incl Jorn van Deynhoven remix. Talla 2XLC teams up with German trance duo Skysurfer, and the outcome is a massive, melodic EDM anthem of epic proportions! "Terra Australis" is based around Talla's impressions while touring in Australia for the first time, as he was so impressed by the vibe and energy, that he brought those feelings and ideas back to his hometown of Frankfurt. Talla then went into the studio with Andreas Kraemer and Thomas Pogadl of Skysurfer, who are also responsible for big choons of Solid Sleep, Schwarze Puppen etc, and they put their heads together to see what would come from these ideas.

Erinnert ein wenig an Deep Dish Style.

The perfect essential compilation has to be a continuum -- covering the ground between old and new, bridging the gap between timeless and bleeding edge. 'Trance Essentials 2014' is a double dose of the absolute must-have tunes of the moment, including reworks of some of the great classics of our time. Legendary artists have made their mark on this impressive tracklist, and rising stars find themselves well represented. These are the most effective, sought after tunes of the moment.

Straight from Paul Oakenfold's upcoming 'Trance Mission' album, the unforgettable classics 'Toca Me' and 'Café Del Mar' have gotten a major facelift and will turn heads everywhere they're played. Future global kingpin Andrew Rayel has not one but two tracks on the compilation, including the massive 'Eiforya' with trance legend Armin van Buuren. The two throwback tracks 'Must Be The Love' from Arty and BT featuring the amazing Nadia Ali and Jurgen Vries' 'The Theme' set the level of quality by which to measure the rest of this album.

New club stormers from Dash Berlin & Rigby, Gaia, and a Johan Malmgren remix of Aruna's 'Start a Fire' keep the future of trance music burning brightly. An extensive collection of fresh new remixes (including a spellbinding remix of Paul van Dyk's 'Crush' from Las Salinas), 'Trance Essentials 2014' is an irreplaceable part of any true fan's collection.

Doss bursts forth into our reality by stepping sideways from one where the 90s boom never ended - an alternate Earth of curved, shining surfaces and strobing colours. As a producer and singer exploring "Electronica" as a concept, Doss sidestepst the revivalist tag by reaching across genres, from trip hop and trance to liquid drum & bass and Eurodance, and warping them into something simultaneously nostalgic and futuristic. Perhaps what makes her music so vital is that she manages to avoid using her influences as obvious templates. Instead, she uses particular genre tropes as tools in a contemporary, almost EDM, context; a place where the synth melodies of Crystal Waters and Love, Inc. coexist with the slinking shuffle of LTJ Bukem and Fabio. Doss makes bold, emotional pop music that bursts with imagination. But beyond the sheen there is a complex fragility reminding us that glossy fantasies are just as interesting for their subtext. Tracklist:

After the incredible success of the omnipotent Anthems 90s, Ministry of Sound proudly presents the follow up to the platinum selling album in the prestigious 'Anthems' series, so prepare once again to take an even bigger ride through the tracks that were paramount to dance music's explosion, this is Anthems 90s 2.

There's no denying the fact that the 90s is back, listen to almost any chart topping track and you'll find the remnant of a 90s sample that's probably already echoed across dance floors for the past 25 years, in fact, step onto any dance floor or high street today and you'll see Nike Air Max 90s, Tie Dye T-Shirts and even Bum Bags.

This deluxe 3CD instalment comes packed with an even bigger and better tracklist, including a massive 8 '#1 Records' from Snap!, 2 Unlimited, Soul II Soul, K.W.S, Armand Van Helden, RUN DMC VS Jason Nevins, Cornershop and Sonique as well an incredible 22 'Top 3' singles featuring the biggest artists of the Decade such as Technotronic, The Prodigy, Baby D, Livin' Joy, Gala, Bobby Brown, Faithless, Underworld, Fatboy Slim, Basement Jaxx plus loads more!

Whether you like it or not, there's no escaping that the decade of dance is back and it's here to stay. So ask yourself this; are the 90s back Or did they ever really go away This is Anthems 90s

More than a decade ago it was Armin van Buuren's turn for a part in the Artist Profile Series. The result was 'Boundaries Of Imagination', Armin van Buuren's first ever mix CD, now remastered and re-released through Black Hole Recordings. It's immediately clear Armin already had a
sharp eye for talent back then as 'Boundaries Of Imagination' contains tracks by BT, Paul van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Solarstone and Sander Kleinenberg, who are now all big industry names themselves. Armin has also made some of the remixes exclusively for this CD.

All this, combined with a superb continuous mix, makes this album a real classic and an absolute musthave.

This May will see the return of Dutch electronica master / video director David Douglas to Atomnation for his forthcoming album Moon Observations, a natural continuation of 2012's EP Royal Horticultural Society. With its powdery blocks of chords and swathes of treated vocals, first single 'Higher' gained support by Pitchfork, Xlr8r, Electronic Beats, THUMP, 3voor12, BBC e.a; hailed because of the funkiness, porous synths and the slow-building atmosphere.
Inspired by the stories of namesake David Douglas (1799), a Scottish plant hunter who explored North America collecting seeds of plants and trees unknown to mankind at that time, David Douglas (1983) started looking for his own musical roots. The greatness of nature, the sublime mountain landscapes, Icelandic lupine fields, Arctic coastlines and Californian fir forest invigorate his music. With collaborations by Dutch pop legend Blaudzun and Danish folk artist Petter Carlsen, Moon Observations offers a well produced genre mix of electroncia, house, ambient and pop. This album could be this years favorite pick by fans of Caribou, John Talabot, Nicolas Jaar, Royksopp and Tycho.

Music is like a second nature to The Prophet. That's why he's been part of the music scene for the past 25 years. The tide of waiting is over for his fans. It's here, after all these years it's time to introduce the debut album of the true pioneer of the harder styles called LOUDER.

His musical journey is packed in 21 tracks. So it's no surprise LOUDER contains the perfect mixture of his favourite styles like melodic, oldschool, hardcore and more. CD2 is a continuous mix of the tracks that are on CD1

All tracks are produced out of pure passion and love for the harder styles. That's why the album is an absolute musthave for the true lover of the harder styles. Creating the album was an emotional challenge for him.

The sound of the album needed to express a feeling that fits The Prophet perfectly. Words that came directly to his mind while producing it were Limitless, Overruling, Unstoppable, Distorted, Epic & Raw. Together they form LOUDER.

The only word that represents who The Prophet really is, what he loves, how he feels... his true core. Experience the style of this legend, his music and his life all capped on what's already about to be the harder style album of the year. Get LOUDER with TheProphet and buy this musthave.

Mind-blowing is the right word for Armin van Buuren's new single. Starting off as a gimmick for the Armin Only - Intense world tour, its musical and visual impact gave it a crowd favourite status in no time.

Due to popular demand, the song that was made in merely 2 days, now sees its release. It's big, bold and playful - 'Ping Pong' is bouncing your way.

Who could have guessed, that a song created about the most retro game in existence, 'Pong', would blow up into a 2014 EDM phenomenon in its own right It all goes back to a childhood love of video games and a fascination with a little white ball bouncing around a low-res TV screen. Ping... Pong... Ping... Pong...

The biggest fires start from the tiniest spark, and before long, the 'Ping Pong Song' grew to become one of the most unforgettable moments of the Armin Only. With the incredibly catchy drop, fans will remember the 'Ping Pong' moments for a very long time to come
