There was no one quite like Terry Callier, and Live Peace captures the rare magic of his live performances in their most intimate and spiritual form. Recorded live in Leeds in the late 1990s and early 2000s at shows run by Lubi Jovanovich & Gip Dammone of The DIG! Family, this release documents an artist whose music transcended genre, era, and expectation, offering truth, compassion, and deep emotional connection rather than spectacle. Recorded live by renowned sound engineer Martin Dixon at The Yardbird Suite / The Underground in Leeds in 1998 and 2001), these performances feature Terry alongside his hand-picked ‘Family Band’; which included legendary guitarist Jim Mullen, Chris Kibble on keys and famed percussionist Bosco D’Oliveira. Painstakingly restored from the only surviving source using modern AI-assisted audio tools, the aim was never to polish away the grain, but to let Terry’s voice, message, and band shine once more. Sparse, soulful, and profoundly human, the recordings preserve the immediacy of nights where packed rooms fell into pin-drop silence, hanging on every word and note. From the aching beauty of “What Colour Is Love” to the cinematic power of “Lazarus Man,” this album reminds us what a master storyteller and spiritual presence Terry Callier was. Live Peace stands as a powerful reminder of why Terry Callier remains one of music’s most revered and influential voices, whose songs of love, justice, and humanity resonate as strongly now as ever. Palace return with their most open-hearted collection yet, 'Ox', out September 18th. The announcement of the new album arrives alongside the release of its latest single, ‘Dream On’. Palace’s fifth album, Ox, finds beauty and wisdom in the most human of revelations: watching a child encounter music for the first time, feeling overcome by gratitude, or sensing that the possibilities ahead are endless The album arrives as Palace continue to thrive as an independent act. What began in 2016 as Palace Presents, a monthly takeover at The George Tavern in London, has evolved into a worldwide community. "Business Spice" the debut LP by Big Benny Bailey isn't your grandpa's bluegrass album. It's unapologetically playful, and grunge- and pop-tinged, unafraid to break tradition and reimagine what a modern take on the genre can look like, complete with Charli XCX references and anxiety attacks during Uber rides.

Liam Hayes is an acclaimed American musical artist known for his songwriting and uncompromising approach to making records. He started cassette multitracking while a preteen and made his first real studio recording at twenty one. This started an obsession that ultimately led to his releasing a 7” single (Found A Little Baby/Three Quarters Blind Eyes) on a small US indie label. Those tracks garnered the attention of the UK music press, and on the strength of those songs a career was launched. The follow up was highly anticipated by critics and listeners alike, but rather than playing to expectations he delivered a highly personal album of solo piano/vocal songs (More You Becomes You). Not one to repeat himself, Hayes started off the millennium by serving up the extravagant pop/soul opus (Fed). Both records are now considered to be masterpieces.

Hayes’ songs are recognised for their exquisite melodies, poetic lyrics and distinctive vocals. He’s released seven albums, two singles and a soundtrack, and applies his craftsmanship to a variety of genres from orchestrated pop to stripped down rock. Comparisons to Brian Wilson, Laura Nyro, Carole King, Harry Nilsson, Badfinger (and even Prince) are numerous. His music takes the best of radio and stellar classic pop records of the 60’s and 70’s and brings it into the present.

Along with making records Hayes has appeared on screen performing his music in High Fidelity (directed by Stephen Frears) and A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III(directed by Roman Coppola) which he also wrote the soundtrack for.

In this, their first production for Hayes, are (executive producer) Terrence Washington and (multi-instrumentalist/producer/arranger) Vincent Carlo with additional contributions from Terrence’s father, legendary arranger TOM TOM 2084 (Chi-Lites, Phil Collins, Plush).

His latest album, Dancing Backwards, sees Liam stepping through the shadows in his life and into a new musical day.

Following the “immaculate and eternal soul” (The Guardian) of The Indications’ 2019 album, American Love Call, Private Space unlocks the door to a wider range of sounds, boldly launching the band into a world of synthy modern soul and disco beats dotted with strings. Seasick Steve returns with the last season of America. In 2024, Steve and his wife Elisabeth took a road trip across America where he witnessed the poverty and divisiveness in the context of the upcoming election. They were in a New Orleans club where a house band leader welcomed two Belgian musicians on stage by saying "welcome to the last season of America." This became the theme for the rest of their road trip and led to him writing the title track to the new album. A deeply personal, heartfelt reflection on the state of his home nation, The Last Season of America is a protest record in the truest sense.

„My Kinda Party“ ist das vierte Studioalbum von Jason Aldean; es erschien 2010 und gilt weithin als
sein kommerzieller Durchbruch. Das Album verbindet Country-Musik mit stadiontauglichem Rock und
einem Hauch von Hip-Hop-Einflüssen und enthält große Hits wie „Dirt Road Anthem“, „Don’t You Wanna

„Dragonflies“, das gleichnamige Debütalbum von Dhani Harrison und Nigel Godrich.
Dhani Harrison ist ein zweifacher Grammy-Preisträger, Musiker, Komponist und Produzent. Nachdem er
mit seiner Band „thenewno2“ erstmals auf der internationalen Bühne in Erscheinung getreten war, hat sich
Harrison inzwischen als eigenständiger Solokünstler etabliert. Sein Solo-Debütalbum „IN///PARALLEL“
(2017) markierte eine mutige kreative Weiterentwicklung, gefolgt von dem von der Kritik gefeierten Werk
„INNERSTANDING“. Neben seiner Solokarriere hat Harrison mit einer vielfältigen Auswahl an Künstlern
zusammengearbeitet, darunter Wu-Tang Clan, UNKLE, John McLaughlin, Annie Lennox, Pearl Jam, Nitin
Sawhney, Perry Farrell, Prince, Regina Spektor und Fistful of Mercy (gemeinsam mit Ben Harper und
Joseph Arthur).
Nigel Godrich ist einer der renommiertesten Produzenten und Toningenieure, der vor allem für seine
jahrzehntelange kreative Zusammenarbeit mit Radiohead bekannt ist. Er begann seine Arbeit mit der
Band im Jahr 1994 und hat seit „OK Computer“ (1997) jedes Radiohead-Studioalbum produziert; damit
war er maßgeblich an der Gestaltung eines der einflussreichsten Musikkataloge der Moderne beteiligt. Godrich, der ebenfalls zweifacher Grammy-Preisträger ist, gehört zudem zu den Gründungsmitgliedern der
gefeierten Band Atoms for Peace – gemeinsam mit Thom Yorke, Flea, Joey Waronker und Mauro Refosco.
Im Laufe seiner Karriere hat Godrich mit einer außergewöhnlichen Bandbreite an Künstlern zusammengearbeitet, darunter Paul McCartney, Beck, Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2, IDLES, Roger Waters, Air, Pavement,
Travis und R.E.M.

„Tommyland: The Ride“, ursprünglich 2005 veröffentlicht, ist Tommy Lees zweites Soloalbum. Es erschien
seinerzeit zeitgleich mit seinem gleichnamigen Buch sowie seiner Reality-TV-Serie „Tommy Lee Goes To
College“. Die zweite Single des Albums, „Good Times“, diente als Titelsong der Serie. Zu den Gastmusikern
auf dem Album zählen unter anderem Butch Walker, Chad Kroeger und Nick Carter.
Unter dem Titel „Tommyland Rides Again“ ist das Album nun erstmals auf Vinyl erhältlich; es enthält die
neu gemasterten Originaltitel sowie den brandneuen Song „Stupid World“ (feat. Chad Tepper) – inklusive
eines neuen Musikvideos – und präsentiert sich zudem mit einem überarbeiteten Artwork.

„Friendship Survival Guide“ vereint Aufnahmen von Adam Wiltzie und Jóhann Jóhannsson, die aus ihrer
engen künstlerischen Zusammenarbeit hervorgegangen sind. Die Stücke entstanden während gemeinsamer
Sessions zwischen 2013 und 2017 und wurden nach Jóhannssons Tod von Wiltzie einfühlsam weitergeführt
und vollendet.
Das Ergebnis ist eine vielschichtige Klanglandschaft, die sich zwischen orchestraler Weite, elektronischen
Texturen und schwebenden Drones bewegt. Die Musik bewahrt die ursprüngliche Intimität ihrer Zusammenarbeit und integriert zugleich subtile Ergänzungen, die den Charakter des Materials respektieren und
erweitern. Beiträge von Künstlern wie Tim Hecker, Francesco Donadello und Steve Albini bereichern und
vertiefen diese Klangwelt zusätzlich.
„Friendship Survival Guide“ ist mehr als nur eine posthum fertiggestellte Veröffentlichung. Es ist ein
Zeugnis einer andauernden Freundschaft und kreativen Verbundenheit – ein Album, das das musikalische
Vermächtnis von Jóhann Jóhannsson fortsetzt und gleichzeitig neue Perspektiven eröffnet.

Steven Osborne hat sich zu einem der bedeutendsten Pianisten der heutigen Zeit entwickelt. Seine Gesamtaufnahme der Rachmaninow-Präludien wurde von der Kritik als die beste moderne Interpretation seit
Ashkenazy gefeiert. Nun widmet er sich weiteren Meilensteinen des russischen Repertoires mit dieser Aufnahme von Mussorgskys „Bilder einer Ausstellung“ und einer Sammlung von Prokofjew-Miniaturen.
Mussorgskys Meisterwerk ist eines der beliebtesten programmatischen Werke des 19. Jahrhunderts. Es
stellt jedoch auch eine große pianistische Herausforderung dar, da die spektakulären Klangtexturen des
Höhepunkts „Das große Tor von Kiew“ höchste technische Fertigkeiten erfordern.
David Fanning schreibt über Prokofjews „Visions fugitives“: „Prokofjew liefert Momentaufnahmen seiner
charakteristischsten Stimmungen – mal grotesk, mal beschwörend und mystisch, mal einfach poetisch, mal

bilden können.“ Osbornes subtiler und zugleich brillanter Umgang mit Klangfarben und Charakterisierung

Das Branford Marsalis Quartet und Sängerin Dianne Reeves veröffentlichen mit „Dedicated To You“ eine
außergewöhnliche Hommage an John Coltrane zum 100. Geburtstag der Jazz-Ikone. Gemeinsam mit
Dianne Reeves präsentieren der legendäre Saxofonist, Pianist Joey Calderazzo, Bassist Eric Revis und
Schlagzeuger Justin Faulkner neue Interpretationen jener sechs Standards, die 1963 auf dem berühmten
Album ”John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman” (Impulse! Records) erschienen. Ergänzt wird das Repertoire
durch instrumentale Neuinterpretationen ausgewählter Coltrane-Kompositionen wie „Central Park West“,
„26-2“ und „Big Nick“, die das Album zu einer facettenreichen Hommage an einen der einflussreichsten
Musiker der Jazzgeschichte machen. Das Album verbindet höchste musikalische Virtuosität mit emotionaler
Intensität und zeigt eindrucksvoll, wie zeitlos Coltranes Musik bis heute geblieben ist.

Am 15. September 1957 nahm John Coltrane in Rudy Van Gelders Studio in New Jersey sein erstes
großes Meisterwerk auf. Es blieb das einzige Album des legendären Saxofonisten als Bandleader für Blue
Note. Inspiriert vom bluesigen Titelstück präsentiert das Album auf fünf Stücken ein hochkarätig besetztes
Sextett mit Lee Morgan (Trompete), Curtis Fuller (Posaune), Kenny Drew (Piano), Paul Chambers (Bass)
und Philly Joe Jones (Drums). Ein Meilenstein des Hard Bop.

Der aus Brooklyn, New York, stammende Trompeter Eddie Gale (1941-2020) machte sich Mitte der 1960er
Jahre zunächst durch Aufnahmen mit dem Sun Ra Arkestra, Cecil Taylor und Larry Young einen Namen. Auf seinem beeindruckenden Blue-Note-Debütalbum “Ghetto Music” verband er 1968 seinen eigenen
avantgardistischen Ansatz nahtlos mit Gospel, Soul, Blues und Einflüssen afrikanischer Musik. Diese Linie
verfolgte er ein Jahr später auch auf seinem zweiten Blue-Note-Album “Black Rhythm Happening” weiter,
das er wie den Vorgänger mit seiner neunköpfigen Band und dem achtköpfigen Gesangsensemble The Noble Gale Singers aufnahm. In einer Rezension des Albums schrieb das US-Jazzmagazin DownBeat damals:
“Die Zukunft des Jazz hängt von Musikern wie Gale ab, die das Vokabular des Genres erweitern.”

In einer Zeit, wo alles immer mehr Digital und von KI dominiert wird, setzt Angelo Kelly auf Authentizität
und zwar auf allen Ebenen.
Die Songs auf dem neuen Album „ALIVE“ wurden komplett von ihm geschrieben, arrangiert und produziert. Wer sich die Texte der Lieder anschaut wird schnell merken, dass sich einiges in seinem Leben
verändert hat. Er öffnet sich in seinen Songs mehr, als er es jemals in einem Interview tun würde. Die Art,
wie dieses Album produziert wurde, könnte auch nicht authentischer sein!
AK: „Mir war es wichtig das Album komplett analog auf einer Bandmaschine aufzunehmen ganz ohne
Computer. Meine Band und ich waren dabei alle im gleichen Aufnahmeraum und haben meine neuen
Songs gemeinsam in „One Takes” aufgenommen. Nichts wurde korrigiert und es gab auch keine Overdubs
/ Zusatzaufnahmen! So sind die Aufnahmen sicherlich nicht perfekt,
und im Radio werden sie höchstwahrscheinlich nicht laufen, aber das ist die einzige Art Musik zu machen,
die mich heute noch reizt und interessiert.“ Das Album wurde dann auch komplett analog auf Band gemischt. Und für alle, die sich dieses Werk auf Vinyl holen: Das Mastering wurde im letzten Schritt von Chris
Bellman analog vollendet.

Recorded at Grandmaster Studios in Hollywood, California by the band and Brian Jenkins (KYUSS, SCREAMING TREES), "In Search Of_" is considered a classic of the '90s and a pillar for the "stoner rock" movement. Their first two singles dazzled critics eager for new ideas capable of placing Spanish pop alongside the contemporary music increasingly arriving from abroad in real time. 'Branquias bajo el agua', the standout track from the band's debut single, topped the list of Best Songs of 1982 as voted by listeners of Diario Pop on Radio 3 (Spanish National Radio). With an expanded four-piece lineup and a larger budget than they had enjoyed for their earlier singles, the band entered the prestigious Kirios Studios to record their album, with Paco Trinidad serving as producer. The electric intensity of 'Intima decoración' and 'Crematorio' -angular, off-kilter reinterpretations of a strain of rock descended from The Velvet Underground and The Stooges, a style with virtually no precedent in Spain-are excellent examples of the band's sound. To aberrate was the key term Poch used to describe his ineffable working method: a fearless creative freedom without which songs such as 'Lo que hay' could never have existed. The track stands as a leftfield proto-hip-hop number, later reworked as 'Disco pocho,' demonstrating both his admirable lack of prejudice and his complete disregard for any commercial ambitions the album might have had.Unfortunately, this album would never have a follow-up.
