Househead London launch their 2nd 12" release - a limited-edition Chicago Vs London sampler featuring Glenn Underground and Emmaculate Remixes.

Following a string of critically acclaimed events featuring Chi-Town royalty, Househead London further cement their relationship with Chicago on this vinyl release which features two of the city’s esteemed producers - Glenn Underground & Emmaculate - remixing two sterling new tracks from two of the UK’s most exciting producers - Prefix One and Wez Whynt.

Opening the EP is an artist who needs very little introduction, Glenn Underground. A leading international producer & DJ who seems to effortlessly slide between Deep, Soulful, Disco, Jazz and beyond, Glenn boasts an exceptional discography that very few could compete with. His Cosmic Disco Journey Mix here weaves its lo slung groove in a funky off-kilter disco style with piano ripples as Nambi’s voice shimmers on top. Nambi’s heartfelt soars across Glenn’s Cosmic Journey remix unfurling beautiful piano and taut Chi-town beats. Deep and vocal, it’s got that raw soul power that both Glenn and Chicago are known for.

Known for his exquisitely high attention to detail and quality, Emmaculate is one of the go-to producers and sound engineers in Chicago. Working closely with Terry Hunter on a multitude of projects and a shining light across the global soulful house scene, he’s regularly featured across impressive labels such as Dopewax, Yorubasoul, United Music, Soulstice Music and S&S Records. His lush, tough-edged Remix of ‘Feelin’, rolls on with melodic piano hooks to unlock the groove and boosted with extra keys and vocal refrains before the full vocal unfolds. Solid and deep, “Feelin’ is pure joy for the dance floor.

One Instrument welcomes Morning Seance, composer and sound artist, originally from Italy and based in Vienna. On this debut LP, Morning Seance traces a drifting narrative composed of unstable harmonies, fluid structures, and ghostlike forms. The album unfolds like a dream told in fragments, oscillating between fluctuating pulses and decaying transmissions, from nocturnal stillness to acoustic mirages. The first half of the record moves through zones of suspended tension and evanescent contours, where tracks like “Be faster than your own depression” and “The tenderness of our own autobiography” sketch fragile architectures of affect. The second half enters a more spectral terrain — “Breakfast in a night club,” “A visit to the Brion-Vega tomb” — not places, but agglomerates of sonic sensation, detached from any personal frame.

With each piece, the music dissolves and reconstitutes itself, resisting finality or form, and doing so with an indestructible joy that hums beneath the wreckage. This is degenerate ambient music: anti-geometric and subject to emotional weather — not a refuge, but a slow collapse of structure and purity, where atmosphere gives way to excess and disobedience.

The album is crafted entirely from a single source: the Roland Alpha Juno-1. Despite this constraint, it achieves a vast sound spectrum, transforming one synthesizer’s voice into a layered landscape of textures and moods.

The electronic music of Morning Seance is built on constant variation and intricate, looping patterns with no clear beginning or end. This variation is not simply applied to an audio element, but enacted as a compositional logic — avoiding mechanical combinations and obvious rhythms. The result is a mutable mass of audio matter and tonal debris, guiding the listener through richly divergent environments.

Nach einer legendären Tribute-Performance bei den VMAs vereint sich Aerosmith mit YUNGBLUD auf
„One More Time“, das am 21. November bei Capitol Records erscheint. Die 5-Track-EP enthält Vocals
von Steven Tyler und YUNGBLUD, darunter 4 neue Songs, die von Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, YUNGBLUD
und Matt Schwartz geschrieben wurden, sowie eine neu interpretierte Version des Aerosmith-Klassikers
„Back In the Saddle“.

Inspiriert von Ornette Coleman wagte sich der Altsaxofonist Jackie McLean Anfang der 1960er auf eigene
Faust in die Welt der Avantgarde vor. Dabei gab er dennoch nie seinen feinen Sinn für Swing und musikalische Strukturen auf. Ein Musterbeispiel für diese experimentierfreudige Phase ist sein 1963 erschienenes
Album “One Step Beyond”, das bei AllMusic die Höchstwertung von fünf Sternen erhielt. Darauf schuf
McLean mit einem einzigartigen Quintett einen unverwechselbaren neuen Sound, den er selbst als “InsideOut” bezeichnete.

Es wurde vollständig von Mac in seinem Haus in Far Rockaway, Queens, konzipiert und aufgenommen und zeigt die Reife von Macs Entwicklung als Songwriter: etwas raffinierter, etwas ausgefeilter als seine vorherigen Alben, aber dennoch voller Mut und Seele, wie jedes klassische Mac-Album. Das Gesamtgefühl der Mini-LP ist verlorene Liebe oder vielleicht nie gefundene Liebe, ein Thema, von dem die Welt nie genug bekommt und das Mac auf eine Weise behandelt, ohne dass es düster oder schwermütig wirkt. Die Platte hinterlässt das gleiche Gefühl der Zufriedenheit wie ein alter Bogart-Film: Er ist immer noch der Held, aber er bekommt die Frau nicht ganz. Große Singer/Songwriter müssen sich nicht neu erfinden; sie müssen einfach weitermachen und ihre Songs in die Welt hinauslassen, und damit hat Mac DeMarco uns Another One geschenkt. Diese limitierte Auflage zum 10-jährigen Jubiläum enthält sowohl Another One als auch neu gemasterte Another One Demos auf 2 LPs in einer Gatefold-Hülle, gepresst auf transparentem und blauem Far Rockaway-Vinyl. Enthält ein 12-seitiges Booklet mit neuen Linernotes von Mac und bisher unveröffentlichten Fotos aus dieser Zeit von Laura-Lynn Petrick.

Shortly after the breakup of Flower Travellin’ Band, guitarist Hideki Ishima released his first and only solo album in 1973—a hauntingly beautiful work that stands apart in the landscape of ’70s Japanese rock. Known for his later work as a sitar player, Ishima showcases a signature floating guitar sound throughout the album, blending psychedelic rock, acid folk, and introspective singer-songwriter elements into a deeply personal and atmospheric record.

Contributing to this richly textured sound are some of the most notable names from the era: fellow Flower Travellin’ Band member George Wada (drums), future Transam collaborators Chito Kawachi (drums) and Nobuhiko Shinohara (keyboards), and Katsuo Ohno (keyboards) of PYG.

Now reissued with a bold, powerful remaster by Makoto Kubota, this overlooked gem captures a vital moment in Japan’s underground rock evolution and demands a fresh listen from those exploring the outer edges of the genre.

At this point a regular contributor in defining Token's sound, Border One steps up for his sixth EP on the label in five years. As in many of his past projects, 'Where is Now' bleeds character through effect for a trip on the dancefloor.

Showcasing the band’s signature AC/DC-inspired hard rock sound, this album features hard-hitting tracks like “Long Stick Goes Boom” and “Bad Boys, Rag Dolls,” which helped Krokus break through to the American market and achieve gold certification in Switzerland. The album is celebrated for its polished production by Tony Platt and its riff-driven energy, capturing the raw power and catchy hooks that defined early 80s hard rock. One Vice at a Time remains a key milestone in Krokus’s enduring legacy. One Vice at a Time is available as a limited edition of 666 numbered copies on yellow coloured vinyl and includes an insert.

British South African composer & producer Galina Juritz presents 'One Weird Trick', her debut solo album on London's home for interdisciplinary oddballs, Kit Records.

As a classically trained violinist, Galina has worked in bands and ensembles such as ShhArt Ensemble, Inclementine, and in various combinations featuring leading musicians from Cape Town and Johannesburg's classical and jazz scenes.

Galina composed the music for Madness: Songs Of Hope and Despair, a cantata made in collaboration with Dizu Plaatjies, with a libretto by psychiatrist Dr Sean Baumann. Madness debuted at the World Psychiatry International Congress in 2016, and had a two week run at Cape Town's Baxter Theatre in 2017. As a composer she writes frequently for film, animation and ensemble.

She has collaborated with the likes of composer Neo Muyanga, Mr Beatnick, Cara Stacey, Kelpe, Juliana Venter, Violeta Garcia, Kit Records head Richard Greenan & more. Galina has been remixed by the likes of Photay, Memotone and Tom Skinner (Sons of Kemet, The Smile).

'One Weird Trick' is the culmination of her solo material. Still rooted in the ornate, technical world of string composition and arrangement, the album is stubbornly unclassifiable.

Opening with time-dilated ambient ('Leaves') before segueing into rippling, florid techno ('Skeleton and Tiger fighting'), Galina twists again and again, shifting gears through stoned, jazz-inflected r'n'b ('Things I Know to be True'), string-led widescreen songcraft ('Come Back') and orchestral minimalism for standing on vast shorelines ('Time Split at the Seams of Your Departure [everything is now before and after]').

On the B side, Galina flexes her composition chops with the storming jazz of 'Spirit Level', recorded by Cape Town-based musicians Buddy Wells, Andrew Lilley, Jonno Sweetman & Stephen de Souza. Galina is then joined by the Stockholm Sax Quartet on 'In Rebellion of Time', a stately Reichian revelation that moves from solemn ballet to ecstatic multiharmonic denouement. To close, Galina retrieves oozing electronics and smeared journal entries from the guts of a black hole - a fitting conclusion to a truly unique, unpredictable, delightful, sad, infectious, and bizarre record.
