An evolution of her radio show, event series and Bandcamp community under the same name, this compilation plots a globe-spanning day-into-night voyage across 16 tracks, from artists, countries and scenes that have shaped Jamz' musical worldview. Each track, many of which are exclusive to this comp, tells a story of heritage and roots, whilst pushing boundaries and pioneering new sounds in their respective regions. From the Reunion Island to Latin America, East Africa to the Caribbean and Pacific, it's a 24-hour cycle moving from downtempo to dancefloor. The concept of Dance Around The World began in the summer of 2025 but has ultimately been a part of Jamz' journey in music since the beginning. At the centre of it is her 15-year career as radio presenter - her tastes evolving from the early days on Reprezent Radio, to a 1Xtra residency and now a Saturday daytime show on BBC 6Music. There has always been a desire to highlight music from underrepresented scenes to new audiences.
Standing up for joy and pain and all the messy, confusing, beautiful details that make life worth living. Soulful and timeless, her songs tell stories of the heart, finding universal truths in the honesty of personal experience. Released on UK label Mr Bongo and College of Knowledge in Australia and New Zealand, Triumph & Sadness is her most profound album yet - a powerful and unique record inspired by a classic sweet soul sound and rooted in the contemporary moment. Reaching out with vulnerability and poise, it is a plea for connection in a world gone numb. Recorded over four fruitful days at an all- analogue studio in the stunning natural surroundings of rural Victoria (with additional sessions for horns vocals and overdubs at Sound Park in Northcote), Triumph & Sadness was cut directto-tape with all the urgency and warmth of the iconic '60s and '70s sessions that first inspired her. Written alongside Liam McGorry (Temporary Blessings), featuring collaborators from bands Surprise Chef and Karate Boogaloo and mixed by Daptone and The Womack Sisters collaborator Wayne Gordon, it captures the live energy of a band at the top of their game.
Swivel inaugura su nuevo sello Swivel Traxx produciendo cinco tracks originales recién salidos del horno.
Swivel Traxx steps up with ‘Out of Circle EP’, a 5-track trip delivered by label head Swivel. Blending raw 90s vibes with modern hypnotic soundscapes, the EP shifts gears from tense ambient to direct, Birmingham-influenced techno and high-energy cosmic madness. Built for both deep head-trips and pure dancefloor mayhem:
A1. Out of Circle (Prelude): A beatless atmospheric opener setting a mystical vibe for the whole record. A hypnotic, bell-like arpeggio glides over a warm Moog bassline and thick tension, teasing the concept behind the EP.
A2. Out of Circle: The title track drops straight into club territory while keeping things dark and mysterious. Massive cavernous pads, a driving rhythmic base, and a relentless sequenced synth loop pay homage once again to classic Birmingham techno.
A3. The Black Knights: A dark, dystopian trip. Driven by a hypnotic groove and sharp triplet hi-hats, this one brings a combat-ready energy made for peak-time dancefloor moments.
B1. Starlight: The fastest joint on the record (140 BPM). Equal parts melodic and club-focused, it locks TR-909 drums, Moog bass, and lush pads together for an astral trip into the unknown.
B2. Roundtable: A heavy, mental, and dark closer. Packed with raw analog-filtered synths, broken beats, and a relentless interplay of open and closed hi-hats, it delivers pure energy for the floor.
Celebrating the 30th anniversary of its original release, Night Song returns in a special edition on rose leaf green coloured vinyl. A Grammy Award nominee, the album captures the extraordinary meeting of the legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Canadian guitarist, producer and composer Michael Brook, whose atmospheric soundscapes provide the perfect setting for Nusrat’s ecstatic, transcendent vocals.
With Nusrat’s legacy continuing to reach new audiences following the landmark 2024 release of the unearthed archive recording Chain of Light, Night Song remains one of the defining cross-cultural collaborations of its era. This anniversary edition includes a printed inner sleeve with updated liner notes and photographs.

On its latest album »Music For Air«, the Berlin-based interdisciplinary duo Gamut Inc explores new possibilities of the computer-controlled pipe organ — from hypervirtuoso excess to nuanced automation and rhythms beyond the fixed grid. Composed and recorded during a two-week residency in Toulouse, the pieces move between harmony and noise, conjuring a euphorically intoxicating maelstrom of overlapping, accelerating sound.
Gamut Inc’s work with the computer-controlled organ actually began in 2009 with a commission from ON – Neue Musik Köln for the Kunst-Station Sankt Peter — at a time when few congregations were ready to open their instruments to this kind of work. When the duo of Marion Wörle and Maciej Śledziecki officially founded the ensemble in 2013 as an interdisciplinary project, they first developed their own music machines with instrument builder Gerhard Kern, returning to the organ in 2018 when more churches and venues had opened their doors … and Gamut Inc carried their practice across Europe and beyond, developing AGGREGATE (first a concert series and then an annual festival) into a platform dedicated to organ music of the 21st century.
Sharpening a critique of mechanisation, digitality, and the human in between, the project is conceived around the construction of pre-modern instruments and the control of these instruments by contemporary technologies, resulting in an aesthetic that bridges the very old and the very new. Recent works include the human-machine trilogy »Over The Edge Club« (2021), »Rossum’s Universal Robots« (2022), and »Zeroth Law« (2023, performed at Deutsche Oper Berlin with the RIAS Chamber Choir and the Logos Robot Orchestra), and »Black Square« (2025), a wind-dynamic modular organ built by Tony Decap, inaugurated at CTM Festival and broadcast on Deutschlandfunk Kultur and SWR Kultur. Their organ installation AGGREGAT#10, commissioned by Sónar Festival, was acquired for the permanent collection of Palau Güell Barcelona in 2022.
Gamut Inc’s latest album »Music For Air« was composed and recorded during a two-week residency in Toulouse on the wind-dynamic organ »L’Explorateur«, with individually computer-controlled wind pressure per pipe. The seven pieces move between harmony and noise, conjuring a euphorically intoxicating maelstrom of overlapping, accelerating sound and again exploring new possibilities of the computer-controlled pipe organ — from hypervirtuoso excess to nuanced automation and rhythms beyond the fixed grid. Sensual and ecstatic.

Familiar. Usually reserved for things we think we know. A face, a place, a feeling, a record perhaps. Until, of course, they aren’t quite the same anymore. Or maybe you aren’t.
Jennifer’s debut album lives somewhere around there.
It’s a record about time, which is already a fairly ambitious subject considering nobody seems to have figured that one out yet. More specifically, it’s about what
time does to a person. The old versions, the new versions, and all the ones in between that you only notice when something suddenly brings them back. Someone you
haven’t seen in years. A room you used to know. A certain way the light falls. That sort of thing.
There’s a bit of a doppelgänger situation going on, too. Finding something completely new and somehow recognising it. Meeting yourself again without immediately realising who you’re talking to.
Which can be nice. Or strange. Usually both. The songs on Familiar sit comfortably with that contradiction. Looking backwards without wanting to go back. Missing things without necessarily wanting them
returned. Realising that people who once occupied most of your waking hours can become people whose address you don’t know. Meanwhile, some tiny, seemingly irrelevant detail from fifteen years ago remains perfectly intact.
Memory has its own filing system. Not a particularly sensible one.
Jennifer wrote a series of poems alongside the album. In them, familiarity appears in melting snow, rough coastlines, a kitchen already warm in the morning, somebody’s hands fitting into yours. Elsewhere she wonders about someone she
once knew everything about and now knows nothing about. They could live around the corner. They could live on another continent. They could, technically, be dead. Probably not. But that’s time for you.
Maybe Familiar is less about remembering who you were than realising you never entirely stopped being them. Things get added. Things disappear. Things come back looking slightly different.
And somehow, you recognise them.

Asphalt DJ lands with his second outing on Sentiment.
Following a more Detroit house & techno oriented first release, this EP fi nds itself in four club-focused, yet deeper house tracks. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Sentiment is a label born from admiration for those who came long before us, who were driven by curiosity and experimented with early-day machinery. Corps Perdu emerges from Lamin Fofana’s ongoing practice of creating immersive and multisensory sound environments, informed and inspired by the historically rich texts of scholars and poets working in the tradition of Black Studies. The words of W.E.B. Du Bois, Sylvia Wynter, Dionne Brand, Fred Moten, Édouard Glissant, Suzanne Césaire and Aimé Césaire are transmuted and circulated as sound, offered to listeners through radio, live events, albums and installations. Fofana honours his sources with an audible historical awareness, yet his sounds always simultaneously open out into the turbulent uncertainties of the present.
The music we hear on the album Corps Perdu was previewed within a series of collective reading and listening sessions carried out in Paris, Barcelona, Tunis and New York City, where voices from the audience read aloud fragments from a body of texts Fofana had selected. The spontaneous unfolding of close reading and listening, mixed live by Fofana in these collective listening experiences, speaks to the open-ended quality of Corps Perdu. The album, now published, is but one iteration of this ongoing inquiry into the relationship between sound and text.
Corps Perdu presents an introspective journey with no return, and as such is full of omens of all kinds. Across ten tracks Lamin Fofana creates a sibling or companion to the transformation he initiated in his previous album Works in Metal, building a narrative that takes us into Krakatoa prior to its eruption, and lets us listen to Césaire’s ‘flying seed dreaming very loudly’. The album’s track titles and narrative arc hum in and out and alongside Césaire’s poetry, mainly Césaire’s 1950 collection Corps Perdu, in which the ten poems are accompanied by engravings by Picasso merging fragments of bodies and plants—a collaboration that emerged from their first encounter two years earlier, at the Communist-led World Congress of Intellectuals for Peace, in Wroclaw, Poland.
The music on Corps Perdu labours intuitive hand-held melodies through dense processing. There are many rhythms throughout, though these never surrender to the density of the dancefloor grooves we’ve heard Fofana craft on previous albums (think of the ‘Obscure Light’ pair from Works in Metal for example). Instead, Fofana gently releases the clenched hands Césaire’s Corps Perdu begins with: ‘Among me, from myself, to myself, outside any constellation, clenched in my hands only, the rare hiccup of an ultimate raving spasm, keep vibrating word’. The album carries through sound the scattering and liquid fragmentation that shape the desperate metamorphosis of a ‘lost body’.

Jon Spencer teams up with Kendall Wind and Macky Spider Bowman - the rhythm section from Woodstock NY punk rock wunderkind The Bobby Lees - to chew bubblegum and kick ass.
Two years after “Spencer Gets It Lit” (Marc Riley’s BBC6 Music Album of the Year, “hugely entertaining”**** MOJO, “a sonic witchdoctor who’ll blow your mind” UNCUT****) there is still more work to be done saving rock'n'roll music.

Back to Pennsylvania, started (as so much great art does) in the beginning stages of a breakup in Brooklyn. Anna was weighted down by a sense of stagnation that required the kind of restart only returning home—to your childhood bed and bedroom, your parents backyard—can provide. So she went back to Pennsylvania. She sat at her hometown bar with her dad and his friends. She walked the sidewalks of her childhood. She spent time with her friends whose paths never quite diverged from that traditional, tale-as-old-as-time children’s chant—love, marriage, babies in a baby carriage. Despite all the shakeups of her life—no more New York, no more boyfriend, an impending nationwide tour with Joe P, frequent writing trips to L.A.—Anna still felt static. But it was on one of those fateful writing trips to L.A. that she regained a sense of motion, writing the record’s titular single. And what was supposed to be a single songwriting session with producer Gab Strum spun itself into 10 tracks reckoning with her new phase of life.
The voice draws you in, calmly at first. But soon we realise something’s not right, a volatility churns beneath the surface of Flora Hibberd’s Mammoth, the second record from the British songwriter in as many years. An evolution from the lush acoustic warmth of debut album Swirl, these are ten songs shot through with the energy of an epoch, gone electric, raging and vital. Things in tumult: Hibberd’s voice is the arrow to the heart, refracted through pond water and mirrored back strangely in the voices, the beings that coalesce around her. Produced by Ben Lanz (Beirut, The National), the songs of Mammoth walk a vertiginous tightrope, stirred by the electronic waves of Lanz’s modular synthesisers and buoyed up by the bodily embrace of his magnificently arranged brass sections. Hibberd’s initial folk-leanings have disappeared, making way for a tense, tight sound – the raw and fluid drums of Lucien Chatin, the frank bass lines of Nils Sørensen, the feverish guitar of Victor Claass, her longtime collaborator. Figures emerge from the thicket, offer their own voices: Sufjan Stevens (Ache, Perfect Ripple), This Is The Kit’s Kate Stables and Lonny (Deltaplane, Mythic Figure) and J.E. Sunde (Shelley, Dew Pond). Crafted first as demos by Flora, Ben and Victor in Le Vésinet over half a year, the drums, bass and guitar were then recorded live by Ben at Aaron Dessner’s studio Mini Pond in the Basque Country. Lovingly mixed in Paris by Étienne Caylou and mastered with aplomb by Chab, Mammoth glistens with a pop sheen without ever tempering its jagged edges.
Following up on the foundation laid by his debut, Zacchae'us Paul returns with Jazz Money Vol. 2: Swingin' R&B—a bold, genre-bending journey through the alternative R&B landscape. The album establishes a striking new sonic identity, charting new ground by effortlessly marrying the syncopated, kinetic energy of classic swing with alternative R&B. Across the tracklist, he refuses to be boxed in, guiding listeners through a rich tapestry of lush vocal harmonies, progressive instrumentation, and grooves that challenge where R&B ends and jazz begins.
The legacy of Joey DeFrancesco was solidified decades ago, not only by single-handedly resurrecting the organ’s prominence in jazz, but through the passion and power of every note he played on any instrument he touched. Live at Keystone Korner, the first posthumous album from the legendary organist and multi-instrumentalist following his untimely passing in 2022, was recorded only weeks before his transition and stands as his final known recording as a bandleader—capturing a virtuoso at the height of his ever-evolving innovation. With his extraordinary talents on organ, trumpet, tenor saxophone and a rare vocal feature in the spotlight, it is safe to say Joey’s influence on the musical community will resonate far beyond our lifetime, inspiring generations to come.
After is the Y2K-tinged trip-hop pop project of Graham Epstein and Justine Dorsey, who met on Hinge in Los Angeles and realized they’d probably make a better band than a couple. Born on the same day, August 23, 1995, the duo channels influences from Michelle Branch to Portishead, Fountains of Wayne to Enigma, crafting music that feels both nostalgic and new. Their sound has been praised by Rolling Stone, which wrote, “After… feels like a memory you can’t quite place.” Their debut album, Fell Asleep in the Sun, pressed on a CD with a 2000s inspired design, pairs the band's nostalgic sound with premium packaging worthy of any collection. This beautiful collector's edition includes a 12-Page Die-cut expanded booklet with full artwork, presented in a premium package that brings the album's visual world to life. Released via Mom+Pop Music, the project highlights tracks like “Take Me to Sunrise,” “Promise (When You Go),” and “Snowburn,” showcasing After’s signature blend of dreamy melodies, textured production, and emotional resonance.
These songs have been accumulating in my life since the 1960s, long before I ever began writing my own. Many remained with me as warm-up pieces, familiar companions I would return to before a performance, or simply as a welcome respite from singing my own words. Every so often, another would find its way into the collection. I'd be idly playing the guitar, stumble across a progression that reminded me of a song—"You Belong to Me," for instance—and realize I needed to go back and truly learn it. Some of these selections are deeply sentimental favorites, while others fascinated me as musical journeys across the guitar's fingerboard. Together, they form more than a collection of songs; they are milestones, each connected to a particular time, place, or memory, tracing the subtle contours of a life lived through music. - Bruce Cockburn
Roky Erickson & The Explosives had been honing their craft in hot, sweaty clubs all over Texas for a couple of years before this California tour which, along with the Whisky, included the Warfield Theater in San Francisco, Galactica 2000 in Sacramento, the Stone in San Francisco, the Keystone Berkeley in, well, Berkeley, the Bacchanal in San Diego and the Europa in Tucson, AZ on the way back to Texas. But, the Whisky was a special, magic night of music. Roky was on top of his game and the Explosives was a well oiled machine capable of musically "turning on a dime" with nary a single apple falling from the cart. The proof in that statement was when, as we were walking on stage to start the show, Roky turned to us and asked "Do you guys know the song Heroin by Lou Reed?" We replied "no" as we plugged in and Roky launched into, you guessed it, "Heroin" by Lou Reed. The results are on this record!
Long-time collaborators Winter McQuinn (Sunfruits, Beefheart & McQuinn, jade imagine) and Acacia Pip (PINCH POINTS, Slush) return with Disassociating On The Travelator, the beautifully understated second EP from one of Melbourne/Naarm's most compelling songwriting partnerships. Released by Australia's Third Eye Stimuli Records, the vinyl edition arrives as a special double EP alongside the duo's 2024 debut EP, Recently I've Been Missing The Colour Green—bringing both releases together on vinyl for the very first time. Recorded at the legendary Bakehouse Studios with acclaimed songwriter and producer Liam "Snowy" Halliwell, the four-track collection expands on the warm indie folk, jangling guitar pop and folk-emo leanings of the duo's acclaimed 2024 debut, Recently I've Been Missing The Colour Green. Recorded live, the EP captures the pair's instinctive chemistry while embracing a richer, more spacious studio sound. Across four intimate songs, McQuinn and Pip reflect on the quiet complexities of contemporary life—trying to make sense of changing relationships, the passing of time, self-doubt and finding happiness in everyday moments. Built around shimmering guitars, warm acoustic textures and effortlessly melodic songwriting, Disassociating On The Travelator recalls artists such as Andy Shauf, Courtney Barnett, Elliott Smith, Kurt Vile and Bonny Doon, while retaining a voice that feels entirely their own. Featuring the lead single "Exactly The Same", a bittersweet Melbourne winter anthem about embracing the path that has brought you to where you are today, the EP further cements the duo's gift for pairing emotionally resonant lyrics with quietly irresistible melodies. It's a thoughtful, timeless collection that rewards repeated listening, revealing new emotional depth with every spin.

spirit blue have become one of London’s most elusive word-of-mouth successes. Formed in South East London, the duo quietly built a devoted following through years hosting NTS Radio’s flagship Early Bird show before stepping out from behind the booth with 2024’s breakout double single “perfect storm / desire machine”. Rare live appearances and instant sell-outs of their limited dubplate pressings have turned spirit blue into one of the capital’s most sought-after underground acts, with admirers ranging from Ethel Cain to EsDeeKid. The glistening guitars, soft-hued vocals and sparse production of “ps / dm” and its follow-up “language” conjure a collaged vision of 90s alt-rock melancholy refracted through lo-fi intimacy and electronic texture. The vocals remain understated yet emotionally direct, grounding each track in a vulnerability that feels unforced. Echoes of slowcore’s more spectral edges drift through the duo’s blurred songwriting, where moments of stillness carry as much weight as the hooks themselves. The first ultra-limited pressing sold out instantly; this new edition arrives including the vinyl-exclusive, weightless, “devil mix” versions on the B side and demand already running high.

This monstrously fun Halloween collection unites garage-rock legends The Fleshtones, surf titans Los Straitjackets, and psychobilly mischief-makers Southern Culture On The Skids for a graveyard smash packed with spooky originals and haunted classics. Featuring spirited takes on favorites like "Ghostbusters," "Goo Goo Muck," and "Haunted Hipster," plus the all-star collaboration "Que Monstruos Son" (formerly "The Monster Mash"), the album is a Halloween party soundtrack built to raise the dead. Wrapped in original artwork by Steve Blickenstaff (the artist behind The Cramps' iconic Bad Music for Bad People), Mondo Zombie Boogaloo is a frightfully good celebration of rock 'n' roll's weird, wild side. This album has been out-of-print for years and fetches tidy sums in collectors' circles. This reissue is pressed on pink vinyl and limited to 1,000 copies worldwide.
