Dance your dance. From the first beat to the last, slow or fast, house music is a home for everyone.
This release symbolises a moment in time. A blueprint for dance music before the world knew what it was. Formally referred to as Garage, House or Loft music in the 80s, Frankie Knuckles and Larry Levan shaped the sound from its roots. Larry, resident DJ at Paradise Garage, New York, Frankie at The Warehouse in Chicago, both prolific remixers and some of the first career DJs. Two close friends. Countless genres. One feeling.
RE:VERSAL are excited to present our third compilation, a strictly limited one-time pressing on high-quality 12" 180g heavyweight vinyl - FULL 12” VERSIONS

Mit ihrem dritten Album „You’re Gonna Need A Little Music“, das am 17. Juli 2026 erscheint, melden
„You’re Gonna Need A Little Music“ ist das bislang

Multitrack Reworks returns with Volume 14, featuring four exceptional reworks from producer Smoove. Working directly from the original multitrack tapes, Smoove peels back the layers and strips each recording down to its essential groove, revealing these classic tracks in a fresh new context. Across the EP, he delivers powerful drums, slick basslines, precise arrangements and perfectly placed percussion breaks.
Gladys Knight’s Taste The Bitter Love contains all the right ingredients, expertly polished and reimagined for contemporary dancefloors. Heartfelt strings, warm Fender Rhodes and Gladys’ unforgettable vocal performance combine to create a timeless yet modern groove.
Dexter Wansel’s Theme From The Planets has been sampled countless times throughout the years, often intentionally played at the wrong speed. Smoove takes a different approach, reworking the track at a faster BPM while carefully retaining the original pitch, bringing new energy to this much-loved classic.
On Talk Talk’s It’s My Life, the keyboard layers are stripped back to a Balearic-inspired groove, allowing the iconic vocals to take centre stage while maintaining the song’s unmistakable character.
The EP closes with the mighty Donald Byrd and Lansana’s Priestess. Here, Smoove delivers a stripped-back jazz-funk workout, highlighting the track’s infectious rhythm and musical sophistication while giving dancers plenty of room to move.
Volume 14 is another masterclass in respectful reconstruction, breathing new life into four celebrated recordings while preserving the qualities that made them classics in the first place.

Over a decade has passed since this 12" was released, and it has truly aged like fine wine. This release features 2 timeless cuts from the mind and soul of cv313 mixed and recorded near the heart of Detroit. This was beautifully remastered by dub innovator and pioneer, Stefan Betke POLE @ scape mastering in Berlin, DE. The recordings were pulled from the session masters conducted by Bazza @ Alchemy Mastering in London to ensure a perfectly balanced mix and preserving the soul and spirit of the original tape masters while focusing on enriching every finite detail. While listening to these remasters you can feel the analog warmth of the original tape recordings, with a low end rumble in a way only POLE could pull off! On the A side we have cv313's classic "Lost Sequence" culled from the celebrated Japan exclusive "live" double CD album released back in 2009. On the B side there's a rare live version performed by intrusion at a loft event put on by the good folks over @ Little White Earbuds. This rare recording was reduced and stripped down, core traces of the original swim inside oceanic bass and modulated high end frequencies creating an atmosphere all of its own. This is one for the heads and a true lesson in space and bass!

Over the course of more than a decade, the French quartet Lost in Kyiv have refined a sound that fuses cinematic ambition, electronic precision, and visceral live energy into something unmistakably their own. With their new album, `We're All Going To Be Fine', they push that identity further than ever; sharpening their production, intensifying their dynamics, and embracing a darker, more immersive sonic architecture. Lost in Kyiv's music has always thrived on tension between the organic and the synthetic. On `We're All Going To Be Fine', that integration reaches a new level of clarity and depth. The writing and production process was long and exacting, allowing the band to refine every transition and tonal detail. Songs unfold with architectural precision, motifs are introduced subtly before expanding into vast, multi-layered climaxes. Dynamics are handled with patience and control, silence and minimalism are deployed as strategically as explosive crescendos. This careful pacing gives the album a cinematic flow and larger narrative in which struggle and compassion coexist. Guitars surge and recede in wide, panoramic arcs. At moments they shimmer and support, at others they thrash violently, accumulating layers of distortion and harmonic overtones. Acoustic instrumentation is interwoven with sequenced synth lines, pulsing arpeggiators, and carefully sculpted electronic textures that give the band's sound a sense of forward propulsion. Rhythm plays a central role in Lost in Kyiv's identity. The drums provide impact and structure, locking into intricate patterns that interact with bass-driven synth pulses. At times the groove feels almost mechanical, echoing the steady insistence of electronic music; at others, it breathes and swells with human elasticity. This interplay creates a powerful sense of movement, an impression that the music is always advancing, even in its most introspective passages. "We almost consider this album as the first record of a new version of the band. That's why we decided to use the name Lost in Kyiv now. We don't want to erase the past, but it really feels like a new direction. Artistically, I think this album marks the beginning of a new direction, louder and more metal-oriented than what we did before." For this new 45, "Matasuna Records" returns to the "ATCO" and "Atlantic" vaults, pairing two distinct cuts from the 1960s New York Latin music landscape.
On the A-side, "The Harvey Averne Dozen's" "You’re No Good" blends warm "Latin Soul crossover" with a steady mid-tempo groove and vibraphone-led arrangement. The flip side features "Louie Ramirez & His Orchestra's" "Mueve la Cadera" – a percussion and brass-driven "Boogaloo" recording full of movement, tension and energy.
Two contrasting yet complementary sides, now officially back on 45.
