Tomorrow’s World is the new album from synth-punk/darkwave artist N8NOFACE. Fully produced by Dave Sitek of TV on the Radio, the record also features contributions from Hudson Mohawke, Snow Wife, and Angélica Garcia.
On Tomorrow’s World, N8NOFACE pushes beyond the DIY spaces that formed him, delivering his most ambitious album yet: a collection of hard-as-nails songs that manage to be furiously catchy. In line with N8's cyberpunk aesthetic, Tomorrow's World's title comes from the 1960s British TV show of the same name about tech and science. N8 came across the show when he found a clip of Kraftwerk performing and breaking down their music on it, with Tomorrow's World being credited in breaking the band to a wider audience. In N8's words, the album sees him “imagining what the punks and the street kids might be listening to in 2077.”

The Dutch composer and conductor, born in 1993, has assembled a powerful collective with his "hugely inventive and fast- thinking" (UK Jazz News) Brainteaser Orchestra, uniting the vanguard of the current Amsterdam scene - including guitarist Teis Semey , saxophonist Kika Sprangers , drummer Jamie Peet , violinists George Dimitriu and Yanna Pelser , trombonist Nabou Claerhout , clarinetist Federico Calcagno, and bassist Alessandro Fongaro. This lineup has been making international waves, highlighted by invitations to major European festivals and a recent performance alongside Pat Metheny at the North Sea Jazz Festival. Now comes Tonepool Paradox, the orchestra's second album, commissioned to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Amsterdam's legendary BIMHUIS. Wybenga's compositional approach radically breaks with big band conventions. His process mirrors that of a hip- hop producer: he records solo improvisations by his musicians, chops the material into pieces, and uses these fragments as samples to build entirely new tracks. Wybenga layers jazz, electronics, and contemporary classical music without ever sounding academic or overintellectualized. An evolution of her radio show, event series and Bandcamp community under the same name, this compilation plots a globe-spanning day-into-night voyage across 16 tracks, from artists, countries and scenes that have shaped Jamz' musical worldview. Each track, many of which are exclusive to this comp, tells a story of heritage and roots, whilst pushing boundaries and pioneering new sounds in their respective regions. From the Reunion Island to Latin America, East Africa to the Caribbean and Pacific, it's a 24-hour cycle moving from downtempo to dancefloor. The concept of Dance Around The World began in the summer of 2025 but has ultimately been a part of Jamz' journey in music since the beginning. GEORG DANZER - "JAHRESZEITEN" - Das Beste aus fünf Jahrzehnten Anlässlich des 80. Geburtstags des großen österreichischen Liedermachers GEORG DANZER veröffentlicht Sony Music eine von Georg Danzers langjährigem Wegbegleiter und Manager Franz Christian Schwarz liebevoll kompilierte Best Of mit dem Titel "Jahreszeiten". Das auf farbiger 2LP sowie auf 1CD erhältliche Album umfasst Lieder aus jeder Schaffensphase des 2007 verstorbenen Künstlers, dessen musikalisches Erbe die österreichische Musik nachhaltig prägte. Das Albumcover setzt sich aus vier Portraits Georg Danzers zusammen, die von Nina Maron, Tochter des unvergessenen Sigi Maron, gemalt wurden. Franz Christian Schwarz beschreibt die Zusammenstellung der Best Of mit folgenden Worten: "Alle meine Lieder sind wie Sonne Mond & Sterne" ist der Beginn eines Liedes auf der CD-Single "Sonne, Mond & Sterne", die anlässlich der gleichnamigen DVD-Veröffentlichung von Georg Danzer erschienen ist. Diese Liedzeile gab auch den Ausschlag, die vorliegende Doppel-LP "Jahreszeiten" zu nennen, um die Bandbreite von Danzers musikalischer Vielfalt unter Beweis zu stellen. Danzer schaffte es wie kaum ein anderer Beobachtungen, Erzählungen, Gedanken und Emotionen in Worte und Melodien zu fassen. Mit über fünfhundert veröffentlichten Liedern für sich selbst und andere Interpretinnen und Interpreten zählt Danzer zu den produktivsten Liederschreibern des Landes. Einige seiner Lieder hielten auch in Schul- und Notenheften Einzug. Die vorliegende Doppel-Vinyl und die um einen Titel verkürzte CD-Version wurden eine spezielle Zusammenstellung, auf der neben bekannten Liedern auch solche zu hören sind, die entweder bisher unbekannt oder dem Zuhörer nicht so geläufig sind, aber das musikalische Spektrum des großartigen Poppoeten widerspiegeln. Sie dient zur Auffrischung von Erinnerungen ebenso wie als Anreiz, sich mit dem Werk Danzers vertraut zu machen oder es neu zu entdecken. Der Frühling ist für viele Menschen ein Zeichen dafür, das

Ferdi bekräftigt seinen Status als innovativer Künstler, der den Jazz und sein Image revolutioniert.
In einer Zeit, in der alles dazu bestimmt scheint, konsumiert und anschließend vergessen zu werden, setzt Ferdi auf die Beständigkeit kreativen Schaffens. Sein Album entstand aus der Überzeugung heraus, dass Kunst ein kostbarer Raum bleibt: ein Ort der Erkundung, der Vermittlung und der Emotion, an dem jedes Detail das Ergebnis eines geduldigen kreativen Prozesses ist.
Mehr als nur eine Abfolge einzelner Tracks versteht sich dieses Projekt als ein in sich geschlossenes Gesamtwerk, in dem die Musik mit anderen Ausdrucksformen in einen Dialog tritt und so eine gemeinsame künstlerische und emotionale Suche weiterführt.
Schon lange fasziniert von der Figur des Malers, wollte Ferdi verstehen, was einem Werk seine Kraft und die Fähigkeit verleiht, einen bleibenden Eindruck zu hinterlassen. Diese Auseinandersetzung führte ihn nach und nach zu einer klaren Erkenntnis: Es ist nicht die Komplexität, die uns berührt, sondern die Aufrichtigkeit, mit der sie einer Form von Einfachheit dient.
Von dieser Suche geprägt, ist das Album zugleich eine Hommage an seine Mutter – eine Möglichkeit, all jene zu würdigen, die im Stillen unsere Sichtweise, unsere Vorstellungskraft und unsere Sensibilität prägen.
Nach dem Erfolg seines Debütalbums „TAKE 01“, das Platz 126 der französischen Top-Album-Charts erreichte, präsentiert Ferdi nun ein unwiderstehliches und mutiges Album und bestätigt damit seinen Status als innovativer Künstler, der den Jazz und sein Image revolutioniert.

Seit fast 35 Jahren beschreitet Eddy Louiss einen ganz eigenen musikalischen Weg, stets mit seiner eigenen Band und – mit der möglichen Ausnahme von Stan Getz – ohne nennenswerte Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Jazzgrößen. Als André Damon daher am Abend des 17. August 1988 auf die Idee kam, ein Duo mit Michel Petrucciani auf das Programm zu setzen, übertrafen die Ergebnisse seine Erwartungen bei weitem. Das Zusammentreffen dieser beiden großartigen Musiker fand im „Petit Journal Montparnasse“ statt: drückende Hitze, ein vollbesetzter Saal und fast 300 Menschen, die vor der Tür stehen blieben, enttäuscht darüber, dass sie das Konzert nicht besuchen konnten. Francis Dreyfus und ich waren davon besessen, dieses außergewöhnliche musikalische Erlebnis noch einmal aufleben zu lassen. Michel Petrucciani, der ständig um die Welt tourte, war jedoch selten verfügbar. Im Juli 1993 standen sich Michel und Eddy beim Montreux-Festival anlässlich einer „Dreyfus-Nacht“ erneut gegenüber – in einem prächtigen „Summertime“, bei dem die offensichtliche Chemie zwischen diesen beiden großartigen Künstlern bereits voll zur Geltung kam. Das lang ersehnte Wiedersehen fand schließlich am 31. Mai 1994 in der Maison de la Radio vor einem aufmerksamen Publikum aus Freunden, Musikern, Künstlern und Journalisten aller Fachmedien statt. Nach einem herzlichen und – oh, wie begeisterten – Empfang durch alle Anwesenden wollten Eddy und Michel ihre Zusammenarbeit auf Tonband festhalten, was an drei magischen Abenden im „Petit Journal Montparnasse“ am 14., 15. und 16. Juni 1994 gelang. Hier ist die erste Schallplatte, die aus diesen Abenden hervorgegangen ist.

Nach dem Demo MMXXV aus dem Jahr 2025 legt der in Mailand ansässige Musiker Gabriele Gramaglia das erste Album in voller Länge seines neuen Projekts Lugubrious Garment vor: „In The Wide Vale Of Uncreated Night“. Bekannt für seine Arbeit mit Cosmic Putrefaction, Vertebra Atlantis und zahlreichen anderen Bands im anspruchsvollen Extrem-Metal-Bereich, gründete Gramaglia Lugubrious Garment als Ventil für eine bösartige und instinktive Art von Death Metal, getrieben von unbändigem Momentum, rasender Aggression und kompromissloser Rohheit. Auf „In The Wide Vale Of Uncreated Night“ bricht dieser anfängliche Impuls in eine weitaus gewaltigere und voll entwickelte Bestie aus.

Lugubrious Garment behält das vielschichtige Songwriting bei, richtet diese Komplexität jedoch direkt auf das totale Chaos. Raue, abrasive Gitarren wühlen sich durch hämmernde Rhythmen, während gequälte Vocals heulen und kreischende Soli die zerrüttete Landschaft zerschneiden. Doch hinter dieser scheinbar zügellosen Gewalt verbirgt sich ein präzise konstruierter Angriff: Riffs kollidieren in halsbrecherischer Geschwindigkeit, das Tempo wechselt zwischen hämmernder Wucht und plötzlicher Beschleunigung, und Momente des klassischen Heavy und Speed Metals blitzen auf, bevor sie wieder verschlungen werden.

„In The Wide Vale Of Uncreated Night“ lebt von diesem Zusammenprall aus Präzision und Brutalität. Ein unaufhörliches Gewitter aus messerscharfen Riffs und wahnsinniger Energie, das keinen Stein auf dem anderen lässt.

Mit „Wax“ schlagen die schwedischen Rocker Åskväder ein neues Kapitel auf: Erstmals ist Saga Flygare Täll als Sängerin und Gitarristin dabei. Das dritte Album verbindet bluesige Riffs, skandinavische Rock-Energie und große Hooks und richtet sich an Fans von The Hellacopters, Thundermother und Turbonegro. HoYoverse und Laced Records präsentieren den offiziellen Soundtrack zu „Zenless Zone Zero“ auf Vinyl – eine fesselnde klangliche Momentaufnahme von New Eridu, der letzten Stadt in einer Welt, die von den „Hollows“ verwüstet wurde.

On its latest album »Music For Air«, the Berlin-based interdisciplinary duo Gamut Inc explores new possibilities of the computer-controlled pipe organ — from hypervirtuoso excess to nuanced automation and rhythms beyond the fixed grid. Composed and recorded during a two-week residency in Toulouse, the pieces move between harmony and noise, conjuring a euphorically intoxicating maelstrom of overlapping, accelerating sound.

Gamut Inc’s work with the computer-controlled organ actually began in 2009 with a commission from ON – Neue Musik Köln for the Kunst-Station Sankt Peter — at a time when few congregations were ready to open their instruments to this kind of work. When the duo of Marion Wörle and Maciej Śledziecki officially founded the ensemble in 2013 as an interdisciplinary project, they first developed their own music machines with instrument builder Gerhard Kern, returning to the organ in 2018 when more churches and venues had opened their doors … and Gamut Inc carried their practice across Europe and beyond, developing AGGREGATE (first a concert series and then an annual festival) into a platform dedicated to organ music of the 21st century.

Sharpening a critique of mechanisation, digitality, and the human in between, the project is conceived around the construction of pre-modern instruments and the control of these instruments by contemporary technologies, resulting in an aesthetic that bridges the very old and the very new. Recent works include the human-machine trilogy »Over The Edge Club« (2021), »Rossum’s Universal Robots« (2022), and »Zeroth Law« (2023, performed at Deutsche Oper Berlin with the RIAS Chamber Choir and the Logos Robot Orchestra), and »Black Square« (2025), a wind-dynamic modular organ built by Tony Decap, inaugurated at CTM Festival and broadcast on Deutschlandfunk Kultur and SWR Kultur. Their organ installation AGGREGAT#10, commissioned by Sónar Festival, was acquired for the permanent collection of Palau Güell Barcelona in 2022.

The Discos Panorama series heads back to Colombia again for PAN016, pairing a heavyweight cumbia classic from Andrés Landero Y Conjunto with a wild Colombian take on one of the great Afro-funk records.

On the A-side, “La Pava Congona” is Landero in full flight. Known as El Rey de la Cumbia, Landero had that rare ability to make the accordion feel raw, hypnotic and completely dancefloor-ready. This one is all about the rolling rhythm, the call-and-response feel, and that unmistakable sabanero swing. Proper Colombian cumbia with weight behind it.

On the flip, Afrosound take on Manu Dibango’s “Soul Makossa” and send it straight from Colombia’s northern coast. Where the original is already a landmark Afro-funk groove, Afrosound bring their own Colombian flavour to it: fuzzed-out guitar, tropical percussion and loose psychedelic touches and that brilliant energy that made their records so special. A track that when we heard Hugo “Crucial Juice” spin, we knew we had to reissue.

Together, it’s exactly what the Discos Panorama series is about.

Ever since his 2015 debut EP, Nocturne, Alfa Mist has effortlessly moved between jazz, hip-hop and classical music and built unique sonic worlds. Across six critically acclaimed albums, the east Londoner has eroded genre boundaries with an expansive vision. On his last album Roulette, the prolific producer, songwriter, pianist and MC went one step further by creating his own sci-fi universe. 2025’s Roulette was a series of short stories, set in an imagined near-future where reincarnation is discovered to be a potent tool linking dreams and past lives. But with this discovery comes consequences: ethical, moral and philosophical. “If reincarnation is real, how does that shape society?”

As is traditional for Alfa Mist, he also explored the depth of the songs during a live-recorded session. This time the artist ventured to Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios - a location known both for its unusual architecture and its forward-thinking approach to music. Originally broadcast on Youtube only, it seemed a waste to not officially release the session. “When time's running out and you know you can't redo anything, there's an acceptance everyone has and it actually makes you relax a bit. It’s like recreating our live set in the studio.”

Corps Perdu emerges from Lamin Fofana’s ongoing practice of creating immersive and multisensory sound environments, informed and inspired by the historically rich texts of scholars and poets working in the tradition of Black Studies. The words of W.E.B. Du Bois, Sylvia Wynter, Dionne Brand, Fred Moten, Édouard Glissant, Suzanne Césaire and Aimé Césaire are transmuted and circulated as sound, offered to listeners through radio, live events, albums and installations. Fofana honours his sources with an audible historical awareness, yet his sounds always simultaneously open out into the turbulent uncertainties of the present.
The music we hear on the album Corps Perdu was previewed within a series of collective reading and listening sessions carried out in Paris, Barcelona, Tunis and New York City, where voices from the audience read aloud fragments from a body of texts Fofana had selected. The spontaneous unfolding of close reading and listening, mixed live by Fofana in these collective listening experiences, speaks to the open-ended quality of Corps Perdu. The album, now published, is but one iteration of this ongoing inquiry into the relationship between sound and text.
Corps Perdu presents an introspective journey with no return, and as such is full of omens of all kinds. Across ten tracks Lamin Fofana creates a sibling or companion to the transformation he initiated in his previous album Works in Metal, building a narrative that takes us into Krakatoa prior to its eruption, and lets us listen to Césaire’s ‘flying seed dreaming very loudly’. The album’s track titles and narrative arc hum in and out and alongside Césaire’s poetry, mainly Césaire’s 1950 collection Corps Perdu, in which the ten poems are accompanied by engravings by Picasso merging fragments of bodies and plants—a collaboration that emerged from their first encounter two years earlier, at the Communist-led World Congress of Intellectuals for Peace, in Wroclaw, Poland.
The music on Corps Perdu labours intuitive hand-held melodies through dense processing. There are many rhythms throughout, though these never surrender to the density of the dancefloor grooves we’ve heard Fofana craft on previous albums (think of the ‘Obscure Light’ pair from Works in Metal for example). Instead, Fofana gently releases the clenched hands Césaire’s Corps Perdu begins with: ‘Among me, from myself, to myself, outside any constellation, clenched in my hands only, the rare hiccup of an ultimate raving spasm, keep vibrating word’. The album carries through sound the scattering and liquid fragmentation that shape the desperate metamorphosis of a ‘lost body’.

Back to Pennsylvania, started (as so much great art does) in the beginning stages of a breakup in Brooklyn. Anna was weighted down by a sense of stagnation that required the kind of restart only returning home—to your childhood bed and bedroom, your parents backyard—can provide. So she went back to Pennsylvania. She sat at her hometown bar with her dad and his friends. She walked the sidewalks of her childhood. She spent time with her friends whose paths never quite diverged from that traditional, tale-as-old-as-time children’s chant—love, marriage, babies in a baby carriage. Despite all the shakeups of her life—no more New York, no more boyfriend, an impending nationwide tour with Joe P, frequent writing trips to L.A.—Anna still felt static. But it was on one of those fateful writing trips to L.A. that she regained a sense of motion, writing the record’s titular single. And what was supposed to be a single songwriting session with producer Gab Strum spun itself into 10 tracks reckoning with her new phase of life.

The voice draws you in, calmly at first. But soon we realise something’s not right, a volatility churns beneath the surface of Flora Hibberd’s Mammoth, the second record from the British songwriter in as many years. An evolution from the lush acoustic warmth of debut album Swirl, these are ten songs shot through with the energy of an epoch, gone electric, raging and vital. Things in tumult: Hibberd’s voice is the arrow to the heart, refracted through pond water and mirrored back strangely in the voices, the beings that coalesce around her. Produced by Ben Lanz (Beirut, The National), the songs of Mammoth walk a vertiginous tightrope, stirred by the electronic waves of Lanz’s modular synthesisers and buoyed up by the bodily embrace of his magnificently arranged brass sections. Hibberd’s initial folk-leanings have disappeared, making way for a tense, tight sound – the raw and fluid drums of Lucien Chatin, the frank bass lines of Nils Sørensen, the feverish guitar of Victor Claass, her longtime collaborator. Figures emerge from the thicket, offer their own voices: Sufjan Stevens (Ache, Perfect Ripple), This Is The Kit’s Kate Stables and Lonny (Deltaplane, Mythic Figure) and J.E. Sunde (Shelley, Dew Pond). Crafted first as demos by Flora, Ben and Victor in Le Vésinet over half a year, the drums, bass and guitar were then recorded live by Ben at Aaron Dessner’s studio Mini Pond in the Basque Country. Lovingly mixed in Paris by Étienne Caylou and mastered with aplomb by Chab, Mammoth glistens with a pop sheen without ever tempering its jagged edges.

Following up on the foundation laid by his debut, Zacchae'us Paul returns with Jazz Money Vol. 2: Swingin' R&B—a bold, genre-bending journey through the alternative R&B landscape. The album establishes a striking new sonic identity, charting new ground by effortlessly marrying the syncopated, kinetic energy of classic swing with alternative R&B. Across the tracklist, he refuses to be boxed in, guiding listeners through a rich tapestry of lush vocal harmonies, progressive instrumentation, and grooves that challenge where R&B ends and jazz begins.

Grace Ives' melodic ideas simply do not leave her alone. She is always singing. Much of her work stems from simple and relatable nuggets of experience. It is almost as if putting her thoughts to a melody are a way of processing the world as she sees it unfold around her. These humble origins of her ridiculously catchy songs are, she says, result of a “keep it simple, stupid” approach, one that she pulls off with the fire-y confidence of artists such as Bratmobile or Minutemen. As Grace would have it: “I’m a man of few words, or just the same words over and over again. Everything about me is very laid back, my music is just supposed to be fun, danceable. I write songs so that they get stuck in people’s heads. I follow a formula. Butterfly is two notes, Mansion is six. I’m trying to keep it minimal, just so I can get this idea out and listen to it. I just try to crank these out, not so I can do something else, like sleep, drink, or go to a party, but so I can do more. I’m relatable, I shop on a budget, I’m your friend, and I want to write songs for you… to dance to. And I’m a great cook—I make a killer bolognese.”

After is the Y2K-tinged trip-hop pop project of Graham Epstein and Justine Dorsey, who met on Hinge in Los Angeles and realized they’d probably make a better band than a couple. Born on the same day, August 23, 1995, the duo channels influences from Michelle Branch to Portishead, Fountains of Wayne to Enigma, crafting music that feels both nostalgic and new. Their sound has been praised by Rolling Stone, which wrote, “After… feels like a memory you can’t quite place.” Their debut album, Fell Asleep in the Sun, pressed on a CD with a 2000s inspired design, pairs the band's nostalgic sound with premium packaging worthy of any collection. This beautiful collector's edition includes a 12-Page Die-cut expanded booklet with full artwork, presented in a premium package that brings the album's visual world to life.
