Following the success of the 12” “Trip To Your Mind (The Reworks)”—where Delfonic and LTJ Xperience both brought their own magic to Hudson People’s disco/jazz-funk anthem—we’re back with a fresh twist: DJ Friction steps in for an official 7” rework, breathing new life into this cult classic in his own unmistakable style.
For those who’ve been following the story, you know “Trip To Your Mind” is a true favorite among DJs and collectors since decades, from its creative inception by the writer Reginald Hudson with the GI funk band Body Heat, to the original recording taking place in the late 70s in London that eventually paved the way for disco lovers to produce this recent string of reworks.
Where the 12” reworks stretched out the groove with extended intros and club-friendly builds, Friction’s version keeps things tight and energetic. He adds his own drums, claps, synth touches, and some new vocal layers—combining the standout parts from both the original mix and the classic UK remix. The result is a punchy new take that’s perfect for DJs who want maximum impact in a short format, but still want all the funk and psychedelic flavor that’s made this song a dancefloor staple for decades.
And for collectors? The original 7” of “Trip To Your Mind” is notoriously hard to find—and pricey when it turns up. This new release finally makes it easy to spin a fresh, fully licensed version on 7” wax, expertly mastered for today’s systems.
Whether you were hooked by the Delfonic or LTJ Xperience edits, or you’re just discovering this tune for the first time, DJ Friction’s rework is a natural next step in the ongoing journey of “Trip To Your Mind.

Several years after a 12” for the Unrelatable imprint, Marco Passarani opens a new chapter with F.F.O.M., a work of extra-terrestrial tales that feel grounded, where the hard, dirty work of the people continues on a different planet. The scenery changes, but the story stays the same: broken dreams on arid ground.
Linking back to his early Nature Records releases, Passarani blends experimentation with an unshakable sense of groove, weaving a more abstract narrative without losing the dancefloor pulse. While distinct from his Studiomaster output, the project shares the same DNA, fusing digital and analog textures until the boundaries dissolve.
True to the raw spirit of pure techno and imbued with the unmistakable nuances of the Roman school, F.F.O.M. is both a nod to the past and a step into uncharted territory, where Martian dust meets earthly sweat.
Each track paints a fragment of this imagined frontier: Tales Of Truth reveals shadowy landscapes hiding the real nature of the so-called new promised land; Alone in the Depth drifts through liquid scenery, a classic TR-808 pulsing deep beneath unknown oceans; Clouded Shore distills the numeric essence of groove in a subtle nod to Kraftwerk; Dominion erupts into the fierce struggle for supremacy over the new territories; Passione Orbitale tells of love for the unknown and voyages toward otherworldly sunsets; Exploration Noises echoes the spirit of Ixora from Passarani’s first Nature Records release, with manic, melancholic SH-101 lines riding electro rhythms.
The digital edition includes two exclusive miniatures, fleeting transmissions from the edge of this Martian settlement.

KinAhau returns to Crosstown Rebels with expansive new single ‘Under the Flowerpot’, featuring Luke Cusato. Backed by a cosmic, synth-driven remix from Perel, the release lands on the label. After debuting on the label with his remix of Airrica’s ‘Hi Speed Lover’ last year, surging wonderkid KinAhau steps forward with his first full solo release for Crosstown Rebels. ‘Under the Flowerpot’ captures a moment of raw honesty and transition for the young Mexican artist, revealing a more expansive, song-led direction in collaboration with UK vocalist Luke Cusato.
The single was born during a turbulent period, written in the wake of a panic attack shortly after relocating to Rome. That sense of fragility and release runs through the record, pairing Cusato’s stirring topline with KinAhau’s widescreen production to create a cut that blurs the lines between club energy and confessional songwriting. For the remix, Damian Lazarus welcomes Perel to Crosstown Rebels. A unique voice within the electronic landscape, crafting her own lane with a genre-blurring approach, her remix is chugging, synth-led, and infused with a signature retro-futurist touch, channeling cosmic energy and slow-burning tension for dancefloors that like things deep and driving. Now 22, KinAhau’s journey has already taken him from handing Solid Grooves founder Michael Bibi a USB disguised as a trash collector to playing at DC10, Fabric, Space Miami and Mayan Warrior. His breakthrough collaboration ‘Different Side’ with Bibi and Audio Bullys carried his name onto global stages, while his 2024 mixtape comprised of old demos, drafts and edits revealed a more confessional, unfiltered edge to his sound. Yet ‘Under the Flowerpot’ feels like a deeper statement, one rooted not in hype but in self-exploration.

This is techno stripped to its core - uncompromising, visceral, and engineered for shadowed, late night dancefloors. SOU002 stamps a serious script in the South Signatures arc. Hard Times and DJ Spen go back decades. The Baltimore house veteran has long been a fixture at the label’s parties, on the remixes, and now under his Muthafunkaz alias he cements the bond with a set that’s as much a time capsule as it is a renewal. The Muthafunking Hard Times EP revisits a clutch of Spen’s early-to-mid-2000s jams that, till now, have never been committed to wax. True to form, Spen hasn’t simply dusted them off: he’s remastered, refreshed, and imbued them with a 2025 gleam, bridging past and present in one irresistible sweep.
The A-side opens with the Funkee Kole Cappin’ Mix of 2008’s “(You Make Me Say) Woah!”, a gospel-fired stormer whose call-and-response vocals climb skyward while a cheeky Fab Four nod keeps things buoyant. “Holy Ghost” follows in its Holy Spirit incarnation, wringing church-floor catharsis from tribal percussion and sanctified chants - a blast of kinetic, almost Faya Combo-like fervor.
Flip the record and you’re hit with the swing and strut of 2010’s “Gotta Hold On Me,” Spen’s Vocal Mix turning horns and jazzy drums into a pure adrenaline surge. The closer, “Doin’ The Best I Can,” is a tonal shift: harmonica and guitar sketches circling loose-limbed beats, equal parts after-hours reverie and Sunday-morning balm.
Too vibrant, too joyous, too Spen not to press - The Muthafunking Hard Times EP isn’t just archival housekeeping. It’s an affirmation of what house music does best: uplift, electrify, and remind you that, even decades on, the spirit still moves.

Focus, integrity and substance, all allied to a relentless work ethic and that essential (if indefinable) sprinkling of magic dust, have kept Nick Warren at the top of the electronic music tree for not far short of forty years.
In that timespan, Nick has been tour DJ for Massive Attack, held a residency at Cream, been a Glastonbury regular, and become the UK’s most successful export to Argentina (in no small part due to his touring brand The Soundgarden). As half of Way Out West, he has helped write (and re-write) the rule book for club-based electronic acts, achieving true longevity without compromise. He has curated over a dozen essential compilations – a mainstay of the Global Underground series whose heavyweight influence is still felt to this day, an in-demand decknician for pivotal brands such as Renaissance and Balance, and the very first DJ entrusted with creating a blueprint for the now iconic Back to Mine series.
It's quite the CV, a career many can only dream of. But Nick has long had one further itch in need of scratching. Inspired at a young age by his dad’s Jean-Michel Jarre and Tangerine Dream albums, coming of age with experimental labels like 4AD and Factory, roots deep in the dub-wise scene of his native Bristol, a long time collector of exotica and obscure film soundtracks…all that knowledge and passion has long been crying out to be channelled into a Warren solo album.
All of which brings us to the career-defining Turbulence. The world is certainly a turbulent place as Nick gets set to unleash his masterwork, but the musical turbulence at work here arguably takes its lead from other interpretations of the word – turbulence as a feeling of heightened intensity, turbulence marked by a sense of unpredictability.
Turbulence is a window into Nick’s musical soul, and the myriad styles and influences that reside there, drip-fed into a melodic melting pot to create a unique sonic stew. Tempos and styles switch and interlock effortlessly, the mood ebbs and flows like the best DJ sets, and the running order, from the ethereal opener Loveland all the way through to the achingly beautiful closing cut Sadly (in tandem with Tripswitch, one of several noteworthy collaborations) showcases an artist at the top of his game, and with a deep understanding of the concept of the long player.
We all need some turbulence.

Next up, ‘Mind the Gap’ delivers an irresistible fusion of raw, gritty house and classic UK garage, complete with chopped vocals and synth hooks that stick in your head long after its over.
‘Brain Dance’ brings a bouncy groove and a fresh return to acid, weaving melodic progressions that keep the energy flowing. Closing out the record is ‘That Noise’, a contemporary psychedelic progressive journey, layered with lush strings and immersive textures.

When two underground icons like James Curd and Fred P join forces, the result is more than just acollaboration-it's a cross-continental meeting of deep house minds. The track was born in James Curd's Adelaide studio while Fred P was in Australia, capturing a rare and organic creative moment between two respected figures in house music. James Curd, known for his work with Greenskeepers and his extensive catalog across labels like Classic, Defected, and DFA, brings a playful yet precise groove, while Fred P, the introspective deep house pioneer behind Black Jazz Consortium, adds soulful depth and hypnotic finesse. The remix package elevates things even further. Harvey Sutherland, a staple in Australia's modern funk and electronic scene, brings his analog synth wizardry-his remix credentials include Disclosure and Jamiroquai. Austin Ato, a UK house innovator with a DFTD remix for Groove Armada, injects vibrant dancefloor energy. And Junior Sanchez, a long-time figure in New York's club culture, rounds it out with a heavyweight version - he's flipped everyone from A-Trak to Madonna. A few years in the making, Dauw finally announces the reissue of the humble bee’s quietly classic morning music. Now, for the first time, the remastered album is available on vinyl, presented as a double LP, alongside a digital edition.
Originally released in 2010 on Cotton Goods — Craig Tattersall’s own imprint — the extensive album was born from a simple yet committed daily practice: over the course of four weeks, Tattersall set aside an hour each morning — between 6:00 and 7:30 am, before leaving for work — to write, record, mix, and document a piece of music. This daily ritual resulted in 28 pieces, accompanied by drawings of his tape-looping systems and photographs of his setup and the snowy January view from his window.
For many listeners, morning music served as a first introduction to his music and sparked a lasting interest in both this alias and his wider body of work. The original cd edition sold out quickly after its release and only occasionally resurfaced in the form of unofficial uploads. As such, this reissue aims to bring renewed attention to morning music - and with it, the hope that it will find its way to new ears as well.

When it comes to Latin soul, Bobby Matos And The Combo Conquistadores 'Tema De Alma Latina', has to be up there as one of the heaviest tracks ever recorded. This much-loved Latin workout has been rocking dancefloors for years with its infectious, driving energy and pulsating rhythms. Released in 1968, the 'My Latin Soul' album on Philips Records now receives a welcome reissue on Mr Bongo. It’s a sheer delight throughout and a premier example of the Nu Yorican sound that was thriving in New York in the ‘60s.
From a young age, the Bronx, New York-born Latin jazz percussionist Bobby Matos found inspiration through the conga drum masters Mongo Santamaría and Patato Valdez (who he had informal backstage lessons with) and timbales legends Willie Bobo and Tito Puente. Bobby was drawn into New York's club scene and began playing in the vibrant ‘60s beat / bohemian Greenwich Village cafes, followed by stints in a wide range of different venues. These included Bronx dance halls and after-hours clubs in El Barrio, through to the elegance of Carnegie Hall, Central Park concerts, and off-Broadway theatres.
Later relocating to Los Angeles, Bobby played an important role in spreading Latin music far and wide. He became an inspiration to many on the jazz dance and acid jazz scenes in the ‘80s / '90s where his recordings were picked and played, becoming prized collector items amongst DJs. The track 'Tema De Alma Latina' was immortalised as a classic for many, after being featured on the Gilles Peterson’s Street Sounds Jazz Juice 5 compilation in 1987. A captivating listen from start to finish, the album features other treats such as the dynamic album opener ‘Nadie Baila Como Yo’, the blazing flute led 'Mambo Maxims', and the blistering piano shuffler 'Raices'.
A truly iconic Latin classic whether you’re being reunited with it like an old friend or discovering it as a fresh new find.

Spiritual World's first archival 12" vinyl release from the UK’s free festival dub pioneers.
The Ullulators, an experimental dub and world music ensemble from Bath, UK, have long been associated with the UK’s free festival movement, tracing their creative lineage back to the mid-1980s. For the first time ever, two pivotal tracks from their early cassette-only discography—“Simply Conscious Dub” and “Eternal
Now”—are being issued on 12” vinyl, marking the first archival release on Spiritual World.
The A-side, “Simply Conscious Dub”, originally featured on the 1986 cassette Beyond the Gates of Ull, exemplifies the band’s signature fusion of weighty dub rhythms with expansive and euphoric electronics.
In contrast, the B-side, “Eternal Now”, drawn from the 1985 cassette Share a Calm with the Ullulators, ventures into more introspective sonic territory. Built on minimalist structures and ambient textures, it evokes the kosmische tradition and aligns with the spatial sensibilities of Manuel Göttsching’s E2-E4.
Together, these tracks not only showcase the group’s wide stylistic range but also underscore their forward-thinking approach to genre hybridity. This release stands as a unique document of a formative era in the
evolution of UK underground, dub, and ambient music.

The album blends classic Motown and disco influences with contemporary electronic dance production, creating a unique and powerful sound that is both nostalgic and fresh.
From soaring anthems to intimate ballads, Men in Love takes the listener on a journey through the highs and lows of romance, celebrating the power of connection, vulnerability, and the enduring search for love in a chaotic world.
The album will be released concurrently with Welsh's new novel, also titled Men in Love. The book is a sequel to Welsh's seminal work, Trainspotting, and continues the story of Renton, Sick Boy, Spud, Begbie, and other beloved characters. The album serves as a sonic companion to the novel, with its themes, lyrics, and musical atmosphere reflecting the experience and inner turmoil of its characters. The album also introduces The Sci-Fi Soul Orchestra, a unique musical entity with their own unique music releases in the pipeline

After years of exploration and experimentation, a new wave of artists from the Andes is now gaining some deserved global recognition. One such artist is Guillermo aka Existencia Pasajera, whose work has been shaped in southern Chile and so smartly reflects the region's newly emerging creative depth. This new release captures his fluid, expressive keyboard style and opens with the trippy and psychedelic loops of 'Haunted House' before 'The Brujo' gets more dark and menacing. The EP also features a remix by Minus legend Magda. Her label debut blends acid, stripped back rhythm and heady grooves, while closing the release is Map.ache of the Giegling collective, whose minimalist approach offers a meditative counterpoint.
