Florian’s Morning is the musical project of Mats Lideborg. Originally from Motala and now based in Stockholm, Mats balances life as a troubadour and songwriter with driving subway trains across the city. His music carries the weight of Scandinavian melancholy, intimate storytelling, and timeless songwriting traditions.
The project grew out of a long-standing friendship between Mats and ionnalee, who first met as teenagers in Motala playing music together. More than two decades later, they reconnected in Stockholm and began revisiting a collection of songs originally written by ionnalee years earlier.
Hearing Mats interpret the material sparked a complete transformation. The songs were rewritten and newly produced, evolving into something both cinematic and deeply personal, somewhere between Bryan Ferry and Elliott Smith meeting in a small town Swedish dive bar at closing time.
Florian’s Morning’s self-titled debut album is a striking introduction to an artist with a rare voice and quietly magnetic presence.
Florian’s Morning’s - Florian’s Morning’s is written and produced by ionnalee, out April 22, 2026 on To whom it may concern.

ionnalee | iamamiwhoami – BLUE IN CONCERT (live versions) is a limited edition double LP documenting the 2026 anniversary tour celebrating ten years of the audiovisual album BLUE. The release presents newly produced live studio versions of the complete concert set, capturing the atmosphere and emotional intensity of the performances while reinterpreting the original material in a more immediate and organic form.
Originally released in 2014 as the third audiovisual chapter in the iamamiwhoami series, BLUE became one of the project’s most defining works — merging electronic pop, Nordic melancholy, and immersive visual storytelling into a singular world. A decade later, BLUE IN CONCERT revisits the album through expanded arrangements, live instrumentation, and the raw energy developed on stage throughout the anniversary tour.
The BLUE IN CONCERT tour was performed in:
Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, New York, Mexico City, Lisbon, Madrid, Barcelona, London, Berlin, Warsaw, and Stockholm.
Pressed as a deluxe double LP in a strictly limited edition of 500 copies, BLUE IN CONCERT (live versions) stands as both a commemorative release and a reimagining of one of ionnalee and iamamiwhoami’s most celebrated works, bridging past and present through performance, reinvention, and physical format.

“Keep the books coming, keep the music coming, keep the art coming. When you think you know everything, you can miss out on a lot. When you realise you don’t know everything the floodgates come down a bit and you start following literary links and musical links that you might not have made before. It’s a whole new parallel universe.” Andrew Weatherall, 2015 Today Disco Pogo is delighted to announce A Disco Pogo Tribute To Andrew Weatherall, a 320-page hardback that gathers everything we love about the man and his music. It is the fourth in our hardback Tribute series – following Daft Punk, Aphex Twin and LCD Soundsystem – and the long-overdue successor to the sold-out and hard to find Jockey Slut Tribute To Andrew Weatherall from 2020. Inside you’ll find the best of that original Jockey Slut book, plus more than 200 pages of brand new material – fresh essays, oral histories, interviews and photography from the writers, photographers, musicians, producers, DJs, designers and friends who knew Andrew best.
The book is being published with the full blessing, approval and cooperation of the Weatherall estate, who will also receive a share of the profits from the book. From the fanzine kid at Boy’s Own to the producer who rewired Primal Scream and made ‘Screamadelica’ sound like the future; through The Sabres Of Paradise, Two Lone Swordsmen, The Asphodells and the much-loved A Love From Outer Space night and Convenanza festival, Weatherall left behind a body of work, a sensibility and a way of carrying yourself that is still being unpacked six years on. This is the book that tries to do all of it justice.
Highlights include: an interview with Bobby Gillespie that goes beyond ‘Screamadelica’, essays on ‘Sabresonic’, ‘Haunted Dancehall’, the Two Lone Swordsmen and his solo releases, plus a look into his many remixes. In addition: oral histories on his early years, A Love From Outer Space and Convenanza, an interview with Timothy J. Fairplay on The Asphodells and a celebration of his art work and his NTS radio shows. And then there’s the Disco Pogo Tribute regulars: a timeline, family tree, a studio gear deep dive, discography and more… Featuring interviews with Sean Johnston, David Holmes, Jagz Kooner, Leftfield, Shaun Ryder, Chemical Brothers, Terry Farley, Dot Allison, Beth Orton, Irvine Welsh, Daniel Avery, HAAi, Tia Cousins, Steve Mason, Richard Fearless and many more.

Soul Music legend Candi Staton returns to her down-home Alabama roots on her 32nd album, Back to My Roots. The twelve-track Americana set features an array of Staton-penned originals and some well-chosen covers.
"These songs represent my roots," Staton adds as she reflects on her many trials and triumphs. "Even the new songs on some level represent something I've experienced and that's what real soul music is about." Back to My Roots was produced by Staton with her second eldest son, Marcus Williams, a professional drummer who has toured with the likes of Peabo Bryson, Isaac Hayes, and Tyler Perry. They brought in Mark Nevers of Lambchop fame, who produced three of Staton’s prior Americana albums for Honest Jon’s and Thirty Tigers, to sweeten certain tracks. “Some of the first songs I ever heard were songs like `Peace in the Valley’ and `It’s Gonna Rain,’” says Staton. “The new songs or cover songs are tracks that remind me of that era when I was growing up as a child and evolving as a young woman. That’s why I named the album Back to My Roots because I’m going back to the roots that made me who I am.”
Staton received the Americana Music Association UK’s highest honour, the International Lifetime Achievement Award, at the UK Americana Music Awards ceremony at Hackney Church in London last year for her southern soul work that stretches from her 1969 Muscle Shoals hits to her more recent collaborations with the likes of Americana kings Jason Isbell and John Paul White.
The album opens with a mid-tempo Bonnie Raitt-styled contemporary blues “I Missed the Target Again” that finds Harry Connick Jr.’s longtime guitarist Jonathan DuBose Jr. (aka the Prophesying Guitarist) showing off his skills that set the tone for the song and the album.
Staton’s older sister, Maggie Staton Peebles (who alongside Staton was a member of the Jewel Gospel Trio in the 1950s), joins her for two duets. The first, “It’s Gonna Rain,” features just a drum, steel guitar and vocals. “My mother used to sing that song to us all the time when I was a child,” Staton recalls. “It’s a really soulful kind of song I wanted to revisit.” They then take turns leading Thomas Dorsey 1939 gem “There Will Be Peace in the Valley” that Elvis Presley popularized in the 1950s.
“Hang on in There” is a new, mid-tempo song that has an old school gospel flavour and features vocals from veteran bluesman, Larry McCray.
While in Europe in 2023 for her farewell concert tour that took her to the Glastonbury Festival and Love Supreme, Staton and her British band, PUSH, went into a London studio to record a new version of The Rolling Stones’ 1972 gem, “Shine A Light.” “I love the way that came out,” Staton says. “We put a big choir on it and put our own twist on it.”
From there, Staton revives another Thomas Dorsey classic, “The Lord Will Make a Way Somehow,” with a bluesy vibe. When Al Green started recording gospel in the early 1980s, he re-introduced this song into the culture.
“God’s Gonna Use Me Anyway” is a new mid-tempo blues with subtle Caribbean influences.
The mood takes a turn on “1963.” It’s a poignant, spoken-word reflection on September 15, 1963, when four black girls were killed in the Birmingham Church bombing. “I was in the city that day and I remember the chaos and horror after the bombing,” Staton recalls. “Just thinking of how racism and hatred caused those men to kill those girls was so emotional for me that I could only do it in one take.”
It's a perfect segue into "Reach Down and Touch Heaven," a haunting, plea for divine intervention into the affairs of mankind. "That's straight Baptist," she says. "I used to be a church pianist back in the 1960s. I've never played piano on one of my records before so that's a unique song for me because I’m finally playing on one of my records. The message of that song is about the homeless. It came to me when a homeless person on the street asked me for $5. When God touches your heart to help somebody else that’s heaven to God’s hears. So, when we reach into our purse or wallet to help someone, we’re touching heaven."
Staton offers love as an antidote to hate on the bouncy, Motown-styled, “Love Breakthrough.”
Her publicist brought Aaron Frazer & the Flying Stars of Brooklyn NY’s 2017 cut “My God Has a Telephone” to Staton’s attention. She shifts the track from a retro 1960s groove to more of a 1980s Malaco Records arrangement, a subtle but distinct variation. Staton brought in her longtime friend and STAX Records legend, William Bell (“I Forgot to Be Your Lover” and “Trying to Love Two”), to add raspy seasoning to the track.
The album closes with the wistful, “In God’s Hands We Rest Untroubled,” that was originally written and recorded by the late country star, Lari White, who died in 2017 at the age of 52. “Lari sent me that song to consider at least ten years ago and I always loved it,” Staton says. “The record label didn’t want it on the album or something, so I just held it.”
Staton says, “I grew up hearing a lot of these old songs when they were new songs. I toured with the Jewel Gospel Trio in the 1950s and we got to know people like Mahalia Jackson, Sam Cooke and others who sang these types of songs. So, I’m sort of paying tribute to them and the influence they had on me by refreshing these songs and making new songs in the old style.”’

Originally released by Panjabi MC in 1998 and propelled to worldwide success in 2002, “Mundian To Bach Ke” is widely recognized as one of the most influential Punjabi tracks ever recorded. Featuring the unmistakable vocals of Labh Janjua, the record fused traditional Punjabi bhangra with contemporary hip-hop production, creating a groundbreaking crossover sound that resonated with audiences across continents. Today, it remains a cultural landmark that helped introduce Punjabi music to international audiences and paved the way for the worldwide rise of South Asian artists.
Now, Spanish electronic music heavyweight Dario Nuñez joins forces with Afro House tastemaker Juany Bravo to breathe new life into this timeless anthem. The remix transforms the iconic vocal hook and instantly recognizable melodies into a high-energy Afro House and tribal-infused club weapon, blending modern production with the infectious spirit that made the original a worldwide phenomenon.
Also included on side A is the new remix by Benin-born, Brooklyn-raised DJ and producer, Amémé. Celebrated for his "AMÉMÉ House" sound, he blends deep house, tech, and ancestral African tribal percussions. The remix bridges two very distinct styles, classic South Asian bhangra and modern, spiritual Afro-house energy, all with Panjabi MC's personal blessing.
On side B the classic original version alongside the remix featuring Jay-Z !

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the long-awaited debut album of Italy’s INTO DARKNESS, Route to the Other Side, on CD and vinyl LP formats. Italy's INTODARKNESS have been a work in progress since their formation in 2011. Led by vocalist / guitarist Doomed Warrior from the very beginning, the band released a handful of demos, a couple splits, and a couple EPs during their first decade of existence. While all short-lengths, they certainly did not lack in quality. As time (and lineups) went on, INTO DARKNESS’ primary influences – equally early Asphyx and Soulburn, Pentacle, Sinister, Gorefest, Dead Head, Phlebotomized, Acrostichon, and Thanatos among others – came more sharply into focus, aligning reverently within old-school Dutch death metal in style but with a unique lyrical focus: divulgative astronomy. Not astrology, not sci-fi, no Lovecraft – only and specifically divulgative astronomy, maybe poetically but definitely realistically. Now, at long last, INTO DARKNESS are prepared to unleash their debut album. Tellingly titled Route to the Outer Side, the Italians’ first full-length is a concept record about the outer solar system, which still considers Pluto as a planet and also includes Halley’s Comet.

Zu den Höhepunkten zählen ”They Can’t Take That Away from Me”

Multi-coloured vinyl LP or CD. For fans of Nektar, Van Der Graaf Generator and Progressive Rock! Formed in Germany in 1969, Nektar favoured extended compositions and concept albums over the constraints of pop. They were among the progenitors of the progressive rock movement of the 1970s as well as the jam-band scene that arose in the late 1990s. Their sound travelled well to the States, where they enjoyed Top 40 success with "A Tab in the Ocean" (1972) and "Remember the Future" (1973). Nearly 20 albums and a half-century later, the band's artistic and personal charisma has earned them masses of devoted fans. Now Nektar is broadening their horizons with the first in the "Mission To Mars" trilogy. Their first to feature new drummer Jay Dittamo, alongside longtime members Ryche Chlanda (guitars),Kendall Scott(keyboards), and original members Derek "Mo" Moore(bass) and Mick Brockett (visual environment). From the rocking title track "Mission To Mars" to the beautiful "I'll Let You In", Nektar covers all of the prog rock bases while venturing into some new melodic territories. These days – on the new, ninth Fink album – Greenall is operating within a lineage of authentic, quietly revolutionary artists from England’s verdant southwestern toe. Artists like Michael Chapman. In 1970, the elusive acoustic guitar wizard released an album called Fully Qualified Survivor. The cult-classic served as a lodestar for Greenall – along with bandmates Tim Thornton and Guy Whittaker – as he began jigsawing together The City Is Coming to Erase it All, the follow-up to 2024’s Beauty In Your Wake. He even considered covering a song from it, but in the process, inadvertently stumbled into what became the album’s opener. ‘Wishing For Blue Sky’ circles a universal teenage ache: waiting for life to start. “No point dying of patience” goes the first lyric as crunching footsteps cue a resonant, open-tuned acoustic swaying into view. By 18, Greenall was fed up with waiting, so he left suburban Bristol and saw the world, sending postcards from the edge, waiting tables, squirreling away tips for the next flight. Thornton had similar experiences when the guitarist/drummer busked across Eur
This is nowstalgia more than nostalgia, though; there’s a parallel between these 18-year-olds and Fink’s autumn-aged family men. “You’re expected to be boring and settling down at this age,” Thornton says. “But we’ve still got this tremendous wanderlust. We want to go and discover, and also achieve things. It’s a nice life – home and family – but fuck, I can’t wait to get back out there.” City is a product of this hunger for discovery, and idolatry of the album as a form – like we had in 1974. City’s cover mirrors its interior, the first song is the greeting, the instrumental closer the conclusion. It’s a story. It’s a record for people who, like its creators, are curious. People who happily face a little cold for music, who light a crackling fire back home, who sit with these songs until they’re ready to chase after their own blue sky

British trio The Xcerts return in Summer 2026 with their sixth album, i think i want to go home now. Recorded at Beehive Studios, the record’s direction crystallized with the track "do it to myself," marking a return to the band writing together in one room. The album emerged from an "exceedingly hellish" period involving family loss and broken relationships, mirroring the trauma behind their 2009 debut. While the title began as a childhood joke about sleepovers, it evolved into a poignant exploration of "home" as both a refuge and a heavy heart, delivered with a defiant, invigorated energy.

Hoc est Bellum's debut full-length "Filth Majesty", to be released by Time To Kill Records, continues on the path of the bestial onslaught paved by the band's first release "Demo 2023". On the album, this extermination squad introduces similar ferality and brutality found in the genre's ancient masters, these days much too rare in Finnish black metal. Added to the relentless attack are elements of dark atmospheric passages which seep with malevolent and poisonous aura.

Formed in late 1991, Undertakers are among the longest-running and most uncompromising bands of the Italian extreme underground. This album marks the most mature chapter in the band's history. It is where everything finally locks into place: grindcore violence, hardcore urgency, death metal weight, and sharp black metal edges fused into a modern sound that never betrays its old-school DNA. No nostalgia trip, no trend-chasing-just experience, control, and intent. The record is built on contrast: precision versus chaos, speed versus crushing mid-tempos, modern production versus a raw, uncompromising attitude. Every track serves a purpose, every riff hits with direction. This is a band that knows exactly who it is and has nothing left to prove.

New York-based Patrick Sullivan AKA P-Sol has long proven his credentials when it comes to editing hip-hop joints, mashing together classics, and generally pulling apart favourite jams and rebuilding them with a different perspective. Most of them come on the PS7, as does this new long player, which is a top-shelf example of how to sample properly. Tittle tracks make subtle hints at inspirations if not source material as the works through loopy, sketchy jams that are short but sweet, more club-ready rollers and loved-up beats that drip with sexuality and jazzy sophistication. A great accompaniment to a long journey or lazy afternoon.

The 18th Parallel strikes hard once again with its new riddim series called ‘BONANZA CHARGE’. Carefully produced in its Geneva studio, the collective of musicians presents two vocal cuts and one horns instrumental released as three 7” singles with dubs mixed by Roberto Sánchez. This is heavyweight roots reggae tailor-made for the heaviest sound systems!
First song recorded on the riddim, ‘Don’t Tell Me To Smile’ is NIGHTSHADE’s debut single on Fruits Records and it really is music with a powerful message. Turning an everyday frustration into a universal cry, Nightshade sings out loud what she always wanted to answer to the countless strangers who told her – like so many other women – to smile… because “a woman who smiles looks so much prettier”.
She says: “If it’s really such an innocent thing to say as some claim, why do men never say it to other men? Why do some feel entitled to tell complete (women) strangers how they should look, feel or behave? These so-called ‘small comments’, repeated over and over, are just one piece of the constant scrutiny and everyday violence many women face – and we can’t take no more of it.”
Carried by three united voices, ‘Don’t Tell Me To Smile’ reminds us that a woman is not a decorative object meant to please the male gaze. It’s a call to see through the trap: under the guise of compliments, what is at work is control over women’s bodies and minds. A smile should come from the heart, never from an obligation.

Wenn Jason Molina die Perspektive der Person einnimmt, die er zurückgelassen hat, und in Hard To Love A Man" singt: "It was hard to love a man like you / Goodbye was half the words you knew / While you were waiting for me not to call / I sent my love", dann wird die Einsamkeit und Schuld der Trennung schmerzlich deutlich.

Laid Back in Top Form: New Music Flowing After 47 Years
After 47 years together, the iconic Danish duo Laid Back continue to defy expectations, entering a new and remarkably productive creative phase.
Their upcoming album, Born to Fly, captures their unmistakable sound while showcasing a renewed sense of energy and inspiration
“We feel like we are meant to make music. And when we play music, it feels like we’re flying,” says John Guldberg, reflecting on the album’s title and spirit.
Long known for their unhurried approach to releasing music, Laid Back now find themselves in unfamiliar territory. Guldberg describes a surge in creativity that has
turned their process on its head.
“It’s kind of funny — Laid Back has always taken its time making records. We’ve been behind schedule for most of our career. Now it’s the opposite:
I’m actually starting to worry about whether I’ll have time to release everything I’ve got in me,” he says.
Their current workflow reflects this momentum. Guldberg develops initial ideas, which he shares with Tim Stahl, who then brings them to life with vocals and instrumentation.
“When he sends me something and I start singing and playing on it, that’s when it really becomes Laid Back,” says Stahl.
The duo’s creative output has accelerated to such an extent that even ahead of the release of Born to Fly, they already have enough material prepared for more than a double album for their next project.
“It’s about making the most of the time you have left. I used to feel there was plenty of time and no need to rush. Now time feels much more valuable,” Guldberg adds
.
Alongside their creative resurgence, Laid Back are also seeing a shift in their audience demographics. Streaming data and live performances indicate a growing younger fanbase — a development that has taken the duo by surprise.
“I’m really looking forward to getting back out on stage. We still have the urge to perform, and we love making people happy. That’s what our music is for,” says Stahl.
Born to Fly is set for release across CD, vinyl, and digital formats. Laid Back will also perform in selected cities across Europe later this year 2026.
“We hope people can hear that we’ve grown — and that it still makes sense for us to make new music,” says Guldberg.

With "Una Lama D'Argento", TENEBRO take their most extreme and visionary step yet: an entire album conceived as a tribute to Dario Argento, the undisputed master of horror, giallo, and thriller cinema. Eleven tracks that are not just songs, but episodes of a single nightmare, a journey through the dark and obsessive atmospheres of the films that shaped cinema history: Deep Red (1975), Suspiria (1977), Inferno (1980), Tenebre (1982), Phenomena (1985), and Opera (1987). TENEBRO translate Argento's universe into sound: riffs sharp as blades, guttural vocals emerging from the darkness, relentless drumming, and atmospheres shifting between pure violence and suffocating tension. Iconic scenes such as the mirror revealing the killer in Deep Red, the brutal mutilation in Tenebre, or the larva-filled bathtub finale in Phenomena are transformed into brutal, immersive sonic attacks, capturing the full horror and tension of the films. As with every album, TENEBRO continue to evolve, introducing new symphonies, styles, and melodies, while remaining distinctly separate from the wider underground scene. Their music explores new horizons without ever betraying the pulsating heart that has always defined their sound: extreme, theatrical, and viscerally horror-driven.

Chicago's FIG DISH didn't name themselves after a soft, sweet, fleshy fruit; rather, the name is a phonetic approximation of the German expletive, fick dich, (make of that what you will) FIG DISH were four high school friends: guitarists/ vocalists Rick Ness and Blake Smith, bassist/vocalist Mike Willison, and drummer Andy Hamilton. In their day (a day that began in the late Winter of 1991 and ended in the early summer of 1998), they were known for catchy songs, memorable (often booze-fueled) live shows, and selfsabotage.

Over the course of more than a decade, the French quartet Lost in Kyiv have refined a sound that fuses cinematic ambition, electronic precision, and visceral live energy into something unmistakably their own. With their new album, `We're All Going To Be Fine', they push that identity further than ever; sharpening their production, intensifying their dynamics, and embracing a darker, more immersive sonic architecture. Lost in Kyiv's music has always thrived on tension between the organic and the synthetic. On `We're All Going To Be Fine', that integration reaches a new level of clarity and depth. The writing and production process was long and exacting, allowing the band to refine every transition and tonal detail. Songs unfold with architectural precision, motifs are introduced subtly before expanding into vast, multi-layered climaxes. Dynamics are handled with patience and control, silence and minimalism are deployed as strategically as explosive crescendos. This careful pacing gives the album a cinematic flow and larger narrative in which struggle and compassion coexist. Guitars surge and recede in wide, panoramic arcs. At moments they shimmer and support, at others they thrash violently, accumulating layers of distortion and harmonic overtones. Acoustic instrumentation is interwoven with sequenced synth lines, pulsing arpeggiators, and carefully sculpted electronic textures that give the band's sound a sense of forward propulsion. Rhythm plays a central role in Lost in Kyiv's identity. The drums provide impact and structure, locking into intricate patterns that interact with bass-driven synth pulses. At times the groove feels almost mechanical, echoing the steady insistence of electronic music; at others, it breathes and swells with human elasticity. This interplay creates a powerful sense of movement, an impression that the music is always advancing, even in its most introspective passages. "We almost consider this album as the first record of a new version of the band. That's why we decided to use the name Lost in Kyiv now. We don't want to erase the past, but it really feels like a new direction. Artistically, I think this album marks the beginning of a new direction, louder and more metal-oriented than what we did before." "We almost consider this album as the first record of a new version of the band. That's why we decided to use the name Lost in Kyiv now. We don't want to erase the past, but it really feels like a new direction. Artistically, I think this album marks the beginning of a new direction, louder and more metal-oriented than what we did before." Orange Splatter vinyl. "Sermon of Mockery" by Pyrexia is not an album that tries to be accessible - it is built to be heavy, direct, and unsettling, and it delivers exactly that. Released in 1993, it sits right in the middle of a key moment when American death metal was evolving into something more technical and extreme. The sound is rooted in the New York scene: tight, compact riffing, constant stop-and-go structures, aggressive drumming, and deep guttural vocals with no room for melody. It's not about speed alone, but about control - everything feels deliberate, almost surgical in how the songs are constructed. Lyrically, the album revolves around a strongly blasphemous and anti-Christian theme. It's not just shock value; it's more like an inverted liturgy, where religious symbols are twisted into something dark and violent. This concept is consistent throughout the music, lyrics, and visuals, as you can see in the booklet. It may not be a mainstream landmark, but it played a key role in shaping the brutal death metal sound that followed. It influenced many underground bands and is still regarded today as a cult record. Listening to it now, the production may feel dated, but that's also part of its strength - it's raw, honest, and uncompromising. In short, it's a record that perfectly captures a specific era and mindset within the genre.

Mr. K’s latest is a sureshot double-sider with two much-loved classics given the exclusive treatment from the edit master.
The Shades Of Love, a powerhouse female vocal trio led by the sensational Meli’sa Morgan, dropped an absolute boogie bombshell in 1982 on their first collaboration with superproducer Patrick Adams. ‘Body To Body’ has an easy midtempo swing that’s perfect for a dancefloor (or roller rink!) with a chunky bass line and crisp claps pushing things along, giving Morgan’s sultry vocals the perfect springboard. Previously only available as a 7-inch on obscure Dutch and Brazilian pressings… but that was a remix version, this custom edit by Mr. K is from the version Larry Levan made famous at the Paradise Garage, a welcome addition to any dance 45s crate.
Taking things back to the early days of disco music, Crown Heights Affair provide a shimmering slice of uplifting magic on ‘Dreaming a Dream’. Originally an instrumental break of a vocal song, this wordless take became a hit in its own right when it was released as a single in 1975. That famed version, however, sadly ends far too early. Soul Direction presents the second instalment of unissued tracks from the writer and composer behind the music of 70s group Legacy.
These two tracks came from two master tapes, and after further conversations with Eddie, he shared: “The lead vocals on Love Is Hard to Find were Delbert Nelson (who also
performed some backing vocals for The Funk Brothers) and me, Eddie Watkins Jr.” Eddie is also the lead vocalist on “Did You Notice” (I Used to Love You.)

Digidub ft Julian Fairshare
A Tribute to Julian Fairshare
The second in a series of releases from Digi Dub’s archives, this 10” serves, as the title suggests, as a tribute to the late, great Julian Fairshare.
On the A-side, Julian vocalises, in his unique style, his crazy finger flicking lyrics over a slinky Digidub riddim that was always a favourite on his sound system. Repent, the (only) slightly more traditional flipside, finds him commenting on the politricks and lies of those in charge, asking them to change their ways, with backing vocals by Helen Macdonald.
A true rasta with firm principles and a heart of gold, Julian was brought up by his Windrush generation parents in a Brixton house that hosted blues parties, and as a result became deeply involved in sound system culture from an early age. For years he ran the Fairshare Unity Sound, working with people from all cultures and walks of life, always maintaining an inclusive attitude while also favouring the more experimental side of dub. In later years he used the name ‘Unruly Julian’, which suited him somehow.
He toured widely around Europe and was one of the first to take a roots and culture sound system to the USSR. Nearer to home he played regularly on the London underground scene, which is where Lee Digidub and Julian first met, leading to a steady supply of dubplates for his sound. On a memorable visit to the studio, Julian announced that he wanted to voice a dub that Lee was working on, which led to them releasing I Scream and No Way on David Records.
“Sadly missed, it’s such a shame that the great man isn’t here to enjoy this release in person, but it’s wonderful that people get a chance to listen to Julian Fairshare: a unique vocalist, soundman and mentor to so many” Lee Digidub Berwick

WHITE VINYL[23,49 €]
Die Musik auf Horse Lords' "Demand to Be Taken to Heaven Alive!" wirkt zugleich unglaublich detailliert und zutiefst menschlich. Oder, wie es der Swami Satchidananda Saraswati zugeschriebene Satz ausdrückt: "Understanding is standing under where you are already standing."

Back to Titanic is the second soundtrack album released for the ultimate classic film Titanic. Composer James Horner created a new suite of light and dark music to represent "the soul” of his original score. The inspiration used in composing the original soundtrack formed the basis for the new pieces Horner developed for this album. It features a piano solo performed by James Horner in “The Portrait” and newly recorded suites by the London Symphony Orchestra and the Choristers of King's College.
The first highlight is the opening 19-minute suite, "Titanic Suite", which captures the essence of the film. The other major suite is the final track, titled “Epilogue - The Deep and Timeless Sea”. James Horner returns to the main Titanic theme in a subtle way, honoring the losses of the disaster.
The soundtrack of Back to Titanic is available as a limited edition of 1500 individually numbered copies on violet vinyl. The records are packaged in a deluxe sleeve finished with linen laminate and includes a 4-page booklet with liner notes by director James Cameron.

When Collins was forced to cancel due to a sudden health issue, the promoter asked Gilbert to step in as the headliner--even though he had no band or prepared solo set. With only hours before showtime, a backing band was assembled using members of Ten Years After, and Gilbert quickly rehearsed a handful of Jimi Hendrix songs, stretching the solos into epic jams. The result was a spontaneous, electrifying set that turned an unexpected crisis into a memorable performance.

Ltd. silver vinyl. Migja ta Mohh Mignun ("Journey of a Mad Mind") is a concept prose, chronicling the descent and transformation of a man consumed by insatiable thirst for forbidden knowledge. Abandoning wealth and comfort, he pursues ancient secrets hidden in scrolls, caves, and lost maps, ultimately crossing the boundary between life and death. Along the way, he defies the Inquisition, boasts of powers older than God, and embraces the role of a sorcerer and a possible Antichrist. His journey is filled with occult rites, supernatural encounters, resurrection, and even visions of an underworld queen who grants him unmatched wisdom. In the end, his quest leaves him both cursed and exalted; a figure suspended between madness, immortality, and damnation. This concept is based on a Maltese legend formally penned by Agostino Levanzin, which in turn is rooted in actual events from the 16th century. The music is written to accompany the story and is paced in an average medium-paced but intense wall of sound, along with Sa??ar's particularly unique vocals, all in the exotic and arcane Maltese tongue.
