Eli Escobar returns for his 9th full length LP. While his last few projects found him exploring downtempo beats, EBM and ambient in§uences, this latest offering of Eli's studio craftsmanship marks a return to the sound of his early releases like Up All Night and Happiness. Warm samples expertly woven into classic drum machine rhythms and searing synth lines, The Beach Album takes listeners on a journey through golden era hip hop beats, feel-good NYstyled house grooves into sweaty techno bangers. Similar to Eli's DJ sets, the 16 track long player has something for everyone. Created during the uncertainty of the pandemic when as Eli put it, "It didn't feel like the right time to release dance music," The Beach album celebrates the return of NY nightlife and optimism for the future.

Galaxy 2 Galaxy) on strings, and the return of STRIPPERTM (Sleeve) on the B side for some twisted bass work. Holding light and shade, and pushing out plenty of low end, this record has two cuts for different times of night…
The A side, "In Light," starts with a pulsing kick, bright chords, and shakers, with a string line that slowly builds towards a soaring conjunction with the massive bassline that drops underneath. Filled with bittersweet emotion, this collaboration represents a beacon of light, like the golden hour after sunrise.
On the B side, "In Darkness," gnarly bass textures come to the fore as a harbinger of the dark, turbulent night, dropping into a massive twisted groove. Shakers, tribal percussion, and pulsing sub-bass keep things in a tight rhythm, while Esteban’s strings arrive to guide us through the darkness to dawn.

Comeback tells the story of Ava, a 14-year-old girl trying to navigate the complex relationship between her divorced parents. Her mother, Naomi, a former successful techno DJ, is determined to revive her career and make an international comeback. Ava's father, Dominique, has withdrawn from the hectic nightlife and now leads a quieter life. With a musical score by Raf Keunen and techno tracks by Jeroen De Pessemier (One Track Brain) – founder of the Belgian electro band The Subs – and the visually stunning cinematography of Sander Vandenbroucke, Comeback, shot on 16mm film, combines intimate family conflicts with the energetic, pulsating rhythm of techno.
