Formed in 2009 by guitarist Jari, Helslave are a Rome-based death metal band taking their influences from the 1990s Swedish (melo-)death scene, crafting a perfect mix of brutality and melody.

After releasing a demo and two EPs, their first full length album, ‘An Endless Path’ (on Revalve Records), saw the light on CD in 2015 and got raving reviews by the metal underground press.

The second album from the band, ‘From The Sulphur Depths’ (mixed and mastered by Swedish metal-wizard Dan Swano), came out in 2021 via Pulverised Records, and this album also received enthusiastic reviews from fans and critics.

These Italian youngsters play their music like it’s the thing they need to do to survive; it’s energetic and powerful - this is melodic death metal as it is supposed to be.

The much praised debut album was never released on vinyl, so Doc Records present this gem in three different LP versions - Clear Smoked,

Dark Hell Marbled and black vinyl.

Es dauerte acht lange Jahre, aber war das Warten mehr als wert: Die Südtiroler Extreme Metal-Institution GRAVEWORM meldet sich nun endlich mit einem neuen Album zurück! Und "Killing Innocence" entschädigt für alles. Ihre ganz eigene Melange aus Thrash, Gothic und Death Metal ist durchschlagskräftig wie eh und je und zeigt, dass Graveworm auch nach all den Jahren nichts an ihrer Härte und Energie verloren haben. Die zehn neuen Songs auf "Killing Innocence" sind geprägt von düsteren Atmosphären, kraftvollen Riffs und treibenden Drums, die den Hörer direkt in den Bann ziehen. Das Album ist eine Hommage an die Wurzeln der Band und doch zeitgemäß und frisch produziert - ein absoluter Pflichtkauf für Fans von düsterem, aber mitreißendem Metal. Der Soundtrack von Tee Lopes (Sonic Mania, Streets Of Rage 4: Mr. X's Nightmare) zur neuesten Ausgabe der Spielereihe 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge' (2022) ist eine Hommage an klassische TMNT-Songs mit einer guten Portion Spaß und fließendem Wechsel zwischen 80er/90er Elektro, Funk, Rock und jazzigen Melodien mit Chiptune-Vibes. Slime-san und Demon Turf) veröffentlicht Black Screen Records den gruselig-schönen Soundtrack zum Action-RPG Skellboy von Björn Schellin auf Vinyl. Der Soundtrack erscheint als limitierte Doppel-LP auf marmoriertem Skelett-farbenem Vinyl. Das Artwork des Gatefold Sleeves stammt von der Designerin @sabbi_tabbi von Umaiki Games.

Bruxa Maria are back on their third full length; be grateful. “Build Yourself A Shrine And Pray” is 45 minutes of pummelling, punishing fury as unrelenting and all-consuming as your anger at coming up short for the rent.
The new record finds the band just as enraged as their 2016 debut, while continuing to evolve artistically. Bruxa Maria’s huge bass and guitar, frantic drums, and banshee shrieking vocals build tension with few moments of release, the frenzy sometimes dissolving into feedback, static, and synth drones.
Often the riffs have a swagger that makes you want to dance, and in a few places there are flashes of some genuinely pretty melodies and hooks. Those moments all shine through for just an instant before being shredded by the noise and wrath, torn apart flower petals under a line of razor wire.
This is dark music about and against a darkening world, where anger and art are crucial to how we keep on keeping on. You can call it now, this is going to be the best record of 2023.'

Das vierte Album der Band ist abwechslungsreich, oft überraschend, unverbraucht und frisch, dazu kommt ein perfekt passender und knallender Finnvox-Sound. ELVENKING gelang ein durch und durch überzeugendes Album, das wohl den Wendepunkt zum eigenständigen und einmaligen Sound der Italiener markieren mag. Bei drei verschiedenen Vinylfarben ist für jeden etwas dabei.
