Das Reissue enthält sechs bisher unveröffentlichte Demos, darunter die Songs Hold Me Up und Don"t Blow Your Wind, die nie über die Demo-Phase hinausgingen. Auch frühe Versionen von Tangerine, Summer, Kitchen Door und Clobberedsind enthalten und zeigen, wie diese Klassiker entstanden. Ergänzt wird die Veröffentlichung durch neues Artwork, Fotos, Erinnerungsstücke sowie Notizen der Band und Produzent John Agnello. Sleepy Eyed markierte Mitte der 90er einen Wendepunkt: Nach dem Erfolg von Big Red Letter Day (1993), das Buffalo Tom in die Billboard-Charts brachte und mit Late At Night in der Kultserie My So-Called Life zu sehen war, wollte die Band zurück zu einem roheren Sound. Bill Janovitz verweist auf Dylan- und Stones-Platten als Inspiration: weniger Perfektion, mehr Direktheit, Nähe und Authentizität. Aufgenommen wurde in den Dreamland Studios im Bundesstaat New York - abgeschottet, intensiv, fast wie tägliche Live-Sets. Herausgekommen sind Songs, die bis heute zu Fan-Favoriten zählen, allen voran Tangerine, Summer und Kitchen Door. Gegründet 1986 an der University of Massachusetts, stehen Buffalo Tom (Bill Janovitz, Chris Colbourn, Tom Maginnis) seit fast 40 Jahren gemeinsam auf der Bühne - 10 Alben später ein beeindruckendes Stück Beständigkeit.

Mit Feuerwasser setzte Curse im Jahr 2000 einen Meilenstein im deutschen Hip-Hop. Tiefgründige Lyrics,
packende Storys und ein Sound, der zwischen rauer Straßenpoesie und reflektierter Introspektion balanciert.
Dieses Album gilt bis heute als eines der bedeutendsten Rap-Debüts Deutschlands. Nach seiner Rückkehr
aus den Staaten mit knapp 20 Jahren, bringt Curse Ende der Neunziger neue HipHop-Einflüsse aus New
York nach Deutschland und stellt seine „Zehn Rap Gesetze“ auf. Die ernsten und persönlichen Texte,
unterlegt mit professionell produzierten Beats, werden zu Curse’s persönlicher Signatur in der Deutschen
Rap Szene und Feuerwasser zu einem Album, welches kommende Generationen prägte. Original-produziert
von Tony Dawsey (Jay-Z, Akon, Kid Rock, Nine Inch Nails), gilt dieses Album bis heute als eines der
bedeutendsten Rap-Debüts Deutschlands.
Feuerwasser erscheint passend zum 25-jährigen Jubiläum nun erstmals wieder in seiner originalen Fassung
auf Vinyl – als 2LP in 180 Gramm Pressung, auf rotem und blauem Vinyl und im hochwertigen Gatefold
Sleeve. Enthalten sind alle 14 Original-Tracks von 2000, darunter Klassiker wie ”Zehn Rap Gesetze”,
”Wahre Liebe”, und Entwicklungshilfe”.
Passend zum Release geht Curse ab dem 6. November 2025 auf Deutschlandtour.

Zum 20-jährigen Jubiläum erscheint A Certain Trigger gemeinsam mit der 2006er B-Sides- und Demo-Compilation Missing Songs als hochwertige 2LP auf schwarzem Vinyl im Gatefold-Cover. Die Zusammenstellung enthält seltene B-Seiten und Demo-Aufnahmen aus den UK-Singles dieser Ära und wird ergänzt durch ein beidseitig bedrucktes, farbiges 60 × 90 cm Poster auf luxuriösem Kunstdruckpapier. Originally recorded in the Dutch towns of Ureterp and Groningen between 2003 and 2005, 'Through Friendly Waters' marks a pivotal moment in Reimer Eising’s —better known as Kettel— journey through melodic braindance and ambient electronica. With his classical training on piano and a refined sensibility for gentle electronic textures, Kettel weaves together shimmering piano motifs, warm ambient textures, playful breakbeats, and pastoral atmospheres that shimmer with emotional resonance.

First released in 2005 via his own label Sending Orbs, the album soon achieved cult status among IDM fans, celebrated for balancing playful compositional elegance with heartfelt sonic depth. TFW still remains as a timeless soundtrack that perfectly encapsulates why Kettel remains a key figure of electronic music enthusiasts two decades on.

To honour its twentieth anniversary, Lapsus Records presents 'Through Friendly Waters (20th Anniversary Edition)', marking the album’s debut on vinyl within the Perennial Series. This edition has been remastered by Alex Ferrer and redesigned by Basora, resulting in a deluxe version that also includes the tracks "Unistar" and "Toen", which were originally released only on CD by the Timothy Really label back in 2007.

This 20th anniversary special includes the Bonafide classic remix by Dennis Ferrer, Michael Gray’s take and two brand new remixes for 2025 all presented in a beautifully designed record sleeve featuring the star herself on the cover.

Kicking things off on the A side is the “DF’s Future 3000 Mix” that has been championed time and time again by DJ’s from across the world. Next up is Michael Gray, a DJ and producer who needs little to no introduction his version breathes new life into the original by taking it down a couple notches and giving it more of a mellow feel. The first of the two brand new remixes is Nico de Andrea, an Afro-house maestro who sports his signature sound once again by bringing his rhythms and melancholic pop melodies presenting the classic in a whole new way. Rounding off is Sam Divine the first lady of Defected who has held residencies at clubs such as Pacha, Amnesia, Sankeys, Ushuaïa, Eden, among others. She sinks her teeth into this remix by building up the vocal into a drop which is sure to keep the dancefloor going for the late nights that need that boost of energy.

The Scunthorpian partners-in-crime Rupert and Henry Stansall, mythologized in wanted posters as Ruen Brothers, are back in the saddle with their fourth studio album: Awooo. Titled after the lycanthropic howling chorus of their melancholic track “Sitting at the Station,” Awooo finds the duo on the road again, full of ruminative wanderlust and exploring sprawling, dark deserts, carrying with only their songbook of western-inspired folklore. The meditative, building desire of “The Cabin on the Hill,” the pensive yearning etched inside “Poison Down the Wire,“ and a tasteful reimagining of the tried-and-true traditional “Mama Don’t” that could easily pass as an original, all exhibit the creative growth that these young troubadours have established over their decade-long career.
