Debut collaborative album from Troth, the Nipaluna-based duo of Amelia Besseny and Cooper Bowman, and kindred spirit and legendary Mancunian free-form guitarist Jon Collin. A lavish dreamscape conjuring the dramatic beauty of uncharted mountains and streams, it documents both the crystilisation of ideas first shared during an Australian encounter in early 2023 and years of mutual appreciation.

Troth’s sonic universe, a constellation of drifting atmospherics, bedroom pop impulse and modern classical motifs, is deeply intimate and never rushed. Recent sides Forget The Curse and Idle Easel and live performances supporting the likes of Maxine Funke and Treasury of Puppies have seen Besseny’s soaring, celestial voice take centre stage, delicately adorned with Bowman’s synthesiser flourishes and homespun instrumentation. At their heart lies Bowman’s tireless collaborative instinct: his decade-long involvement in the Australian underground and his countless musical outfits (including contemporary trio Th Blisks, with Besseny and Yuta Matsumura).

Summer 2023 saw the duo host two shows for Collin in their former home of Mulubinba, regional New South Wales. Collin is perhaps best known for his playing, deconstructing and reconfiguring of the guitar and other stringed instruments, realised in solo works on his own Early Music and Winebox Press imprints, and collaborations on a trio of albums with Demdike Stare and live sessions with Sarah Hughes and Bill Nace. His unique style of playing, sometimes delicate, at other times frictional, refutes expectations of traditional instruments and fits perfectly within both Troth’s ethos and their lush sonic mise-en-scène.

The objects of devotion perhaps symbolise the group’s devotion towards each other during their music-making process, and the fruits from which they are borne. “I think, any music I have a hand in, is a dialogue with by the people I'm making it with. It's an ongoing conversation between people and sound”, reflects Bowman. The sacredness and ominousness of remote Tasmania is just as affecting, the interplay of Besseny’s haunting vocal washes, Bowman’s sparse instrumentation and Collin’s ritualistic strum evoking the eeriness that lurks beneath the seemingly limitless Australian landscape. “When I think about it, it sounds like being together at the bottom of the Earth. Watching, listening and playing together with no-one else in sight."

Horrible Occurrences is the title of the new Advance Base album, and there is truth in advertising. In these songs_all centered around a fictional town called Richmond and featuring an interlinked cast of characters_you will hear stories of death and disappearance, climactic confrontations and unsolved mysteries. "Richmond is just this place where all the bad memories live," Owen Ashworth explains, and nearly 30 years into his songwriting career, none of his records have packed quite the emotional intensity of this one. And yet something alchemical happens in the telling of these tales. Like a masterful short story collection, Horrible Occurrences is inspiring and alive, idiosyncratic and electric, pulling you closer with each word. In the six years since his last full-length collection of originals, 2018's Animal Companionship, Ashworth gathered ideas from performing live and traveling around the country, returning to cities that he once called home and revisiting old ghosts, memories, and fragments of unfinished ideas. Blending truth and fiction into a dreamlike composite, the songs convey the winding path our memory takes as the years go by, giving voice to a subconscious that is still unpacking old memories for new wisdom. Drawing inspiration from the otherworldly loneliness depicted on '80s masterpieces like Arthur Russell's World of Echo and Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska, the music never crowds Ashworth's detailed storytelling but it also never feels auxiliary. These are beautiful songs, but they stick with you for their ability to strike dissonant, unforgettable emotional chords. It is this pervasive empathy in Ashworth's songwriting_along with his writerly gift for clear settings and complex characters_that has made him a guiding light for so many independent artists. The things that happen throughout Horrible Occurrences are what we tend to call "unspeakable"_events that draw gut-level responses just from acknowledging that they could happen. But part of the triumph of the record is how simply and generously Ashworth finds the language to share them. For the characters in these songs who make it out okay, these are the types of memories they will be tossing and turning their whole lives, waiting for quiet moments to confide them among the people they trust. For the rest of us, they are signs of life along the highway on a dark, snowy night: reminders that, as isolated as we may feel, we are not alone on the road.

Musikalisch gesehen ist „Shadowreaper“ der logische Nachfolger von „The Black Stream“ und legt direkt mit ‚Into The Evergrey‘ los, das mit
geschmackvollen Akustikgitarren beginnt, um dann in ein treibendes Monster überzugehen. Das folgende ‚The Horrors Of Endlessness‘ wirkt wie eine
unerbittliche Warnung vor der Idee der Ewigkeit. Während NIGHT IN GALES das Tempo insgesamt recht weit oben halten, schaffen sie es auch, den
Fuß vom Gaspedal zu nehmen, um z.B. in ‚The Nihilist Delta‘ sanfte Momente durch all die anhaltende Dunkelheit hindurchscheinen zu lassen.
Während ‚Spirals‘ einen unwiderstehlichen Groove erzeugt, ist es ‚Sculptures And Defleshed‘, welches alle Stärken der Band in perfekter Manier
bündelt. Das abschließende ‚Walk Of Infinity‘ lässt den Hörer in völliger Dunkelheit zurück - kein Licht in Sicht.
Und doch sind bei „Shadowreaper“ einige Dinge anders. Nachdem sie vier Alben in Folge mit Dan Swanö gemacht haben, wurde die Produktion dieses
Mal Fredrik Nordström anvertraut, dem Mann, der in den Neunzigern in seinem berüchtigten Studio Fredman die großen prägenden Klassiker des

'Lucinda Williams Sings The Beatles From Abbey Road' features 12 Beatles songs that include classic hits such as “Can’t Buy Me Love”, “With A Little Help From My Friends” and “Something”. Williams and her band also take on beloved deeper tracks such as “I’m So Tired”, “I’ve Got A Feeling," and “Yer Blues”. Being raised on the blues in the South, the latter is a song Williams was clearly meant to sing. Recorded at The Beatles' legendary studio in London, the new collection serves as Vol. 7 of her celebrated 'Lu’s Jukebox' series and is the first new volume in almost four years. While many great artists have recorded in the hallowed Abbey Road Studios, as it turns out, Williams is the first major artist to actually record Beatles’ songs there aside from the Fab Four themselves. As an acclaimed, award-winning singer/songwriter for more than four decades, Williams’ music has been highly influential and covered by a multitude of artists. Williams is also an extraordinary interpreter who, like all great interpreters, has the ability to inhabit a song and make it her own. Der Klang von B O D I E S ist in der Tat ein ganz Besonderer: Ohne Instrumente auf der Bühne liefert das achtköpfige Ensemble eine erstaunliche Bandbreite menschlicher Emotionen ab. Manchmal unglaublich kraftvoll, manchmal zärtlich und nachdenklich, reichen Frankies Kompositionen hierbei von leidenschaftlich bis verspielt. Und dann ist da natürlich noch die schiere körperliche Kraft von acht Frauenstimmen in Harmonie.

Auf dem Album B O D I E S erkundet Frankie die Möglichkeiten des mehrstimmigen Gesangs noch weiter. Während einige Lieder dem Publikum bereits bekannt sein werden, sind neue Werke wie „Wonder“ und „Petrichor“ reine A-Capella Kompositionen. Frankie hat dabei auf eine Hauptstimme verzichtet, um sich stattdessen auf satte Harmonien und die Erzeugung einer wohlige Wärme zu konzentrieren. Kat Frankies Gesang auf „All of It“ ist ebenfalls minimalistisch, doch er sprüht nur so vor Sehnsucht und erhebt sich über den mantraartigen Hintergrund des Ensembles. In „Joan Didion“ geht es – das gilt es zu beachten – nicht um die Autorin, sondern um die Entfremdung und den Kummer ihrer Protagonistin. Das Epos „Versailles“ ist inspiriert von der Geschichte des Frauenmarsches in Versailles im Jahr 1789, einem Protest von Pariser Marktfrauen, die über den Brotmangel verärgert waren. Schließlich schlossen sich den Frauen Tausende von Menschen an und daraus entstand eines der bedeutendsten Ereignisse der Französischen Revolution.

Lamina is the moniker of multi-disciplinary French artist Clarice Calvo-Pinsolle. 'Olas Curativas' is Calvo-Pinsolle's first vinyl release. Taking influence from the natural world, works of hydrofeminism, and experiences with hypnotism, Calvo-Pinsolle prolifically performs and records her own refreshing take on ambient music alongside working as an established installation artist. She has previously released two full-length albums on Orila Records & Complex Holidays, as well as a joint LP with Kitchen Cynics, and a collaboration project with Bear Bones Lay Low under the moniker XAXI. Her discography is fleshed out by various contributions to compilations, including the opening track 'Soupire' on Twin System's 'Tendrils Lurched Purple In The Slush' tape series. 'Olas Curativas' was developed and written in 2022, with these pieces first heard as live jams at shows mainly around Brussels and Portugal, before being honed into this mesmeric full-length LP. Calvo-Pinsolle's effective use of manipulated field recordings and tape loops provide a backdrop for harmony that leans towards the mystical, brimming with melodies equal parts haunting and enchanting. Alongside harvesting a sound library over the past several years, Calvo-Pinsolle has developed an approach to composition using field recordings that informs both her musical and sculptural work. These recordings are transformed much like the ceramics seen in the record artwork; shaped, chiseled, and transformed. These ceramics were crafted and painted by Calvo-Pinsolle herself, and hints at this bridge between her two disciplines of music and sculpture. Although an expansive realm, throughout Calvo-Pinsolle's output there are consistent moods and qualities that are absolutely distinctive to this artist's creative worldview, and of which 'Olas Curativas' is a perfect encapsulation.

Rainer Buchmüller aka Fred und Luna ist leider nach langer Krankheit im Januar 2024 verstorben. Er war ein herzensguter Mensch, begnadeter Künstler, Freund und Wegbegleiter. Wir trauern sehr um ihn. Rainer Buchmüller hatte uns ein paar Tage vor seinem Tod das Tracklisting für Vol. 3 (und auch schon Ideen für Vol. 4) geschickt, mit der Bitte, dies posthum zu veröffentlichen, es würde ihn sehr freuen, wenn seine Fans und alle die es noch werden, ein „Lebenszeichen“ von ihm erhalten. Gar nicht einfach oder im Grunde unmöglich, den Begriff „Kraut“ stilistisch zu beschreiben. Dennoch begeben sich Compost Records und Fred und Luna auf eine Zeitreise, um die unterschiedlichen Elemente deutscher elektronischer Musik der 1970er- und 1980er-Jahre und ihre Auswirkungen auf die neuere deutsche und weltweite Musikszene zu entdecken. Nach dem großen Erfolg von Volume 1 und 2 knüpft Vol.3 stilistisch an seinen Vorgänger an, und darüber hinaus – da dies eine der Grundideen der Reihe ist – das musikalische Spektrum Schritt für Schritt um neue krautige Elemente erweitert.

JETHRO TULL sind musikalische Riesen mit einem einzigartigen Sound - oder besser gesagt Sounds, die im Kanon der Rockmusik unvergleichbar geblieben sind. Die 1967 in Blackpool, Lancashire, von dem Schotten Ian Anderson gegründete Band hat im Laufe ihrer jahrzehntelangen Karriere immer wieder stilistische Veränderungen und Imagewechsel durch- und überlebt. Vor allem die charakteristische Stimme ihres Frontmanns und die Einbeziehung der Querflöte als wesentliches Instrument haben JETHRO TULL dennoch mit einem unverkennbaren klanglichen Fingerabdruck versehen.
JETHRO TULL haben von Anfang an die Grenzen der Rockmusik neu vermessen. Durch die Einführung von Elementen aus der klassischen Musik, des Jazz sowie der traditionellen Musik haben die Briten zahlreiche Impulse gegeben, weshalb sie zunächst dem Art Rock zugerechnet wurden und mittlerweile unter anderem zum Progressive Rock zählen. Die britische Legende schaffte den Spagat zwischen Kunst, Breitenwirkung und kommerziellem Erfolg stets mit nur scheinbarer Leichtigkeit. Die Magnetic Eye Redux- Reihe lässt ausgewählte Künstler handverlesene klassische Alben aus der Geschichte des Rock und Metal komplett neu interpretieren und respektvoll in das neue Jahrtausend übertragen. Bisher hat das Label solche Meilensteine wie PINK FLOYDs "The Wall", HELMETs "Meantime", BLACK SABBATHs "Vol. 4", JIMMY HENDRIX' "Electric Ladyland", "Dirt" von ALICE IN CHAINS, AC/DCs "Back in Black" und den SOUNDGARDEN-Klassiker "Superunknown" in Redux-Versionen veröffentlicht. Hank Mobley was inspired by Birth of the Cool on his 1966 album A Slice of the Topfeaturing Duke Pearson’s arrangements for an octet that added euphonium and tuba to a group with James Spaulding on alto sax, Lee Morgan on trumpet, McCoy Tyner on piano, Bob Cranshaw on bass, and Billy Higgins on drums. This stereo Tone Poet Vinyl Edition was produced by Joe Harley, mastered by Kevin Gray from the original analog master tapes, pressed on 180g vinyl at RTI, and packaged in a deluxe gatefold tip-on jacket.

One of techno's all-time greats, Outlander, is back after a lengthy hiatus. With over a dozen records released under the prestigious R&S label, he now finds a new home at Sonic Groove Records with 'I Am, I Was'-a timeless four-song EP of thought-provoking modern techno that is sure to resonate with a wide range of music enthusiasts across the various subsects of the techno scene.

"You're traveling through another dimension - a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination". This iconic introduction is from Rod Serling's timeless and influential television program, The Twilight Zone. Perhaps he would also apply this description to Can Con, the debut album by The Psych Fi's. The group is an offshoot of Canadian singer-songwriter Jerry Leger's rock 'n' roll side project, The Del Fi's. Just as The Psych Fi's describe themselves as "spontaneous psychedelic rock", The Del Fi's recorded two albums characterized by spontaneity, spirit, and trust. This time Leger brings his songs to a revolving door of musicians and singers (18 members, including Jerry, in the case of Can Con). Most of the performers have not heard these compositions before recording them. They have no chance to second-guess; they must be fearless and jump in with both feet and perform live in studio. Leger acts as a sort of loose conductor, allowing certain soloists to emerge from the musical collage. The group takes you on a hypnotic journey from the epic opening medley "Alone in a Room of Mirrors / James Cagney" to the groove of "You Know that I Love You, I Do" and the openness of "Song for Vultures". You'll get lost in "Summer's Right Around the Corner", which also features Don Stevenson (founding member of the legendary 60s psychedelic rock band Moby Grape) on backing vocals, alongside Kate Boothman (Katie Cruel) and Angie Hilts. This sound has evolved out of Del Fi performances, specifically when musicians Nichol Robertson, Jason Kenemy, Dave Clark (The Rheostatics, Woodshed Orchestra), and Michael Eckert were involved. Leger and these "Fi's" eagerly ventured down less-traveled roads to destinations unknown. Other Psych Fi's include Ken Yoshioka, Matthew Cooke, Les Armstrong, Chris Bennett, Shawn Clarke, Katie Methot, and members of "Jerry Leger & The Situation" (Dan Mock, Kyle Sullivan, Alan Zemaitis). Leger tells us at the beginning of the record, "I'm excited to live again", and by the end of Can Con, he's singing in his dreams and ours. This album will continue to grow, live, breathe, and expand as we share in each other's minds. It's a happening, and it's happening - you can hear it throughout the grooves. Groovadelica is a New Zealand-based record label that comes through now with its third offering in the form of this 7" from young and fast-rising new artist Soul Prophet. His 'Back To Dilla' features the buttery tones of UK soul sensation Omar and pays tribute to the great beat maker that was the late J Dilla. It's a jam full of dusty beats and jazzy key samples with a laid-back and late-night feel. The lush flute sounds come from Nathan Haines with extra tabla for even more musical richness. This one has already been getting plays from the likes of Gilles Peterson, Patrick Forge and Mr. Thing so expect to hear it plenty more this winter.

On their debut 45 for Batov Records, Indonesia-based BABON deliver two irresistible jams, cooked from a recipe full of Indonesian flavours, Afro Latin funk, Morricone grooves, Bollywood breaks and blues, they call “Tropical Desert Music”. A must-hear for fans of Surprise Chef, Khruangbin, or Sababa 5.

Drummer Wahyudi T. Raupp and multi-instrumentalist Rayi Raditia, friends since high school in Jakarta, via university life in Melbourne, formed BABON in 2023 to address environmental issues through instrumental music, thus combining
two mutual passions.

Working in their home studio free of time restraints, Babon developed their “Tropical Desert Music’’ sound, mixing the energy and influences of Melbourne’s vibrant music scene, with traditional Indonesian forms, from the pulsating rhythms of dangdut, and gamelan, the ritualistic percussion ensemble music native to Java and Bali, to keroncong, a popular and melodic folk style; while addressing environmental concerns and societal complexities, such as the
impact of ruthless exploitation on tropical regions.

On the A-side, “Desert Rose” is a spaghetti blues dedicated to the widows marginalised and objectified by mine workers. Rayi’s electric guitar gently wails with the cinematic effect akin to a Tarantino soundtrack, over a hypnotic groove that never grows tired.

On the flip, “TNT” explores the moral dilemma faced by a miner torn between the destructive nature of his occupation and the dire financial needs of his family, leading to a downward spiral of alcohol abuse. Slowly raising tension levels,

BABON pit somber organ riffs over bass guitar fuzz and Indonesian-sounding guitar motifs, leading to a final explosion
of guitars and drums. BABON’s “Tropical Desert Music” perfectly complements Batov Records’ rich catalogue of Middle Eastern grooves and is an irresistible sound its own right with a poignant message.

Following up 2023's acclaimed studio album 'A Life Diagrammatic', cryptically named powerhouse duo JOHN offer a live recording of their landmark appearance at London's historic SCALA in early 2024. Providing yet more evidence of their uncompromising show which brims with a primal energy honed over the last decade. With the setlist spanning across their discography, ‘POST KINO (Live at Scala)’ is an honest testament to both the space and the band’s time-tested ethos. Their taut synchronisation ricocheting from the former cinema walls with boundless power and clarity. The documentation also serves to mirror a now well-beaten observation of first-time listeners: that it is quite simply remarkable how only two bodies can combine to create such a formidable force.

With this second record Shoko unveils a new genre called “Onsen Music”. Each track invites you on a relaxing journey, much like soaking away your troubles in the steamy hot waters of a traditional Japanese spa (Onsen). The variety of songs mimic the variety of onsens, some are salty and scorching, some are smooth and clear, some are bubbly and colorful, and others are a refreshing dip into crisp clear waters. In every instance, there's a sense of satisfaction as soothing and delightful as the tracks themselves. This ode to “relax”, while remaining irresistibly danceable, is filled with good vibrations, melodies and hooks that go straight to the heart, saxophone playing virtuosity, intricate electronic compositions, vocals that make us dream of new worlds, and beats that could keep us on a dancefloor all night long.

Shoko Igarashi was born in Yamagata Prefecture, Tsuruoka city, Japan. An accomplished tenor saxophonist, she is also a versatile flautist and plays alto and soprano saxophone fluently. She has already made her mark as both an arranger and a composer. Shoko grew up surrounded by dreamlike landscapes of abundant nature in the snowy countryside of Tsuruoka, a mysterious and surreal region renowned for producing the best quality rice in Japan, where she says, “the water and the air feel the purest," and where mountains and shrines overflow with ancient mysticism.

Was man auf dem Erstling noch mit (be-)rauschend geringer Klangtreue über den Äther jagte, wird auf "Wieherd" druckvoller denn je dargeboten. Unweigerlich fragt man sich einmal mehr, was zur Hölle nur die da unten in Stuttgart dem Wasser beimischen... Es ist für mich jedes Mal schwer beeindruckend, wenn Musik auch ohne üppige Instrumentierung intrinsische Größe hat. ZweiLaster spielen minimalistischen (Pop- & Post-)Punk bar jeder Effekthascherei, nähern sich hie und da gar dem No Wave. Lieder wie der Auftakt "Allein" oder das gellende "Everywhere" sind eingängig, ohne stumpf zu werden, "Berge", "Angerufen" und "Graureiher" schürfen tief, ohne sich großem Gestus bedienen zu müssen. Ehe man sich allzu wohlig wähnt, wechselt sowieso schon das Tempo und ZweiLaster ver- und zerfällt in dissonant charmantes Chaos. Campus Christy is a collaboration between Stones Throw Records’ founder Chris Manak aka Peanut Butter Wolf (vocals) and Brian Ellis (instruments).

Nearly 25 years after his 1999 release of ‘My Vinyl Weighs a Ton’, Manak has formed a brand new musical project, reinterpreting lesser-known tracks from the late 1960s to early 1980s. Campus Christy revives Manak’s high school garage band moniker, a niche ode to the past. Campus Christy marks a new direction for Manak, who for decades has been closely associated with underground hip-hop. ‘Very Complex’ features Piya Malik of Say She She, and ‘Candles’ also features Say She She.

How did Dexter make a TV audience sympathize with a serial killer? No question, it took an ingenious premise, great writing, great direction…and a stellar ensemble cast headed by lead actor Michael C. Hall. But long-time viewers of the show know there was another “character” that played a huge role in the series: the soundtrack. From Rolfe Kent’s unforgettable title theme to the well-chosen Latin-tinged tunes that fit the Miami setting to composer Daniel Licht’s brilliant themes, the score of Dexter commented on the action even as it amplified its emotional power. Special mention must be made of the late Licht’s work, which employed Latin and electronic elements to portray Dexter’s warm and cold sides; among the favorites here are “Astor’s Birthday Party” and the haunting “Blood Theme” that played over the credits in every episode. In 2007, the Milan label put out a CD and a truncated single-LP soundtrack album containing music from the first season; now, for the first time, we at Real Gone Music are offering all of the music that appeared on the CD in an expanded double-LP edition, pressed on blood with white swirl vinyl and housed inside an appropriately gory gatefold. Don’t miss Michael C. Hall’s spoken word pieces, either…perversely pleasurable listening, limited to 1500 copies!

In C and Rainbow in Curved Air get all the ink (inc?), but its own somewhat subtle way, 1980’s Shri Camel, the last of the three brilliant albums Terry Riley recorded for CBS, is every bit as groundbreaking as its hallowed predecessors. Not content to rest on his laurels as a minimalist master, Riley studied with Hindustani classical singer Pandit Pran Nath during the ‘70s; by blending that Eastern influence with his own experiments in just intonation (where tuning is dictated by equal mathematical intervals rather than the “tempered” tuning familiar to Western music), Riley made an album whose shimmering textures (played through a specially modified Yamaha organ) seem to change with one’s own breath or thought, like the reflection of rippling water on rock. And while Shri Camel is far more demanding and ultimately rewarding than any “New Age” recording, one definitely gets the sense that its ever-evolving, ecstatically hypnotic rhythmic and harmonic patterns are massaging the brain’s neural circuitry, leaving one refreshed, relaxed, and, yes, maybe even a little smarter than before listening. First LP reissue and long overdue!

Whirlpool Productions "Fly Hi/Gimme" appeared first in 1993 on the one time and made up label 5th&Madison. The fascination that a young Justus Köhncke had for the then bubbling sounds, strictly rhythms and nu grooves of New York house music sparked the idea to join in the chant with a production of his own. Add his co-producer Fred Heimermann, the buzzing DJ and brilliant music journalist Hans Nieswandt and a visitor from San Francisco named Eric D. Clark, the singer Heather Sachs and samples by Mel Tormé to the flamboyant picture and you know why the records sounds like it does: swinging house music through the lenses of a colorful cast or how some German people thought New Jersey's Zanzibar would sound. Fly Hi embodies the sophisticated deep and soulful approach, while Gimme satisfies the more hysteric approach. Favoured and championed by DJs like Tony Humphries at the time, officially released by Snap's Logic Records and never vacated from Move D's record bag, it's re-issued in all its glory for the first time on Running Back. Motion I is the debut album from Out Of/Into, the collective formerly known as The Blue Note Quintet, featuring pianist Gerald Clayton, alto saxophonist Immanuel Wilkins, vibraphonist Joel Ross, drummer Kendrick Scott, and bassist Matt Brewer. I Wanna Run Barefoot Through Your Hair is the third solo album by Christopher Owens, ex-frontman of seminal indie rock band Girls (Father, Son, Holy Ghost peaked at #37 on Billboard). After losing his bandmate, getting into a motorcycle accident, and bouts of homelessness, he left San Francisco for NYC and returned to Girls’ home label True Panther. Inspired by life (and love) to write music again, Owens is finally ready to share IWRBTYH, a record about his journey back to the center of himself.

Dirigent und Pianist Joe Hisaishi drei Werke aus den Filmen des Regisseurs Takeshi Kitano neu arrangiert
und gemeinsam mit den Wiener Symphoniker eingespielt. In Mládí (tschechisch: „Jugend“), das für
Klavier und Streicher geschrieben wurde, übernimmt Hisaishi die Rolle des Solisten und dirigiert die Wiener
Symphoniker vom Klavier aus. „Summer“, ist dem Roadmovie Kikujiro (1999) entnommen, „HANABI“ stammt aus dem gleichnamigen Krimi (1997), und Kids Return (1996) aus Kitanos Coming-of-AgeGeschichte. Die EP wird digital und als Vinyl zum 74. Geburtstag von Hisaishi am 6. Dezember 2024
veröffentlicht.

Earquake 1996 is the 6th part of the nineties cycle by Wolfgang Voigt, released as a double vinyl series on Profan. Besides the Mike Ink remix of one of his biggest techno hits Love Inc. R.E.S.P.E.C.T., Wolfgang Voigt dedicates this edition mainly to his most dust-dry, stoic, abstract-grooving minimal designs of that time. These are pieces with such sonorous, idiosyncratic names as Logorrhoee and Intoleratio, which enchant us back into a minimal techno cosmos of a very special kind.

März 1991 beim berühmt-berüchtigten Vertigo-Label erschien.
Der Re-Release erscheint – in streng limitierter Auflage - erstmalig als Picture-Vinyl. Die kraftvollen,
wunderschönen Titel bilden die ersten acht Jahre der großartigen Karriere von DORO Pesch ab.
14 Songs für die Ewigkeit, inklusive der Mega-Kracher „All We Are“, „Für Immer“ und „True As Steel“ –
bis heute Fixsterne einer jeden DORO-Setliste. DORO kommentiert: „Auch auf der kommenden WinterTour durch Deutschland werden wir jede Menge Songs von der ‚Rare Diamonds‘ im Programm haben!“
Und weil DORO auch auf der Bühne schon immer eine Wucht war, glänzt „Rare Diamonds“ zudem mit
raren Live-Aufnahmen aus New York von Hits wie „East Meets West“ und „Rare Diamond“.

DORO hat in ihrer 40-jährigen Karriere über 3500 Konzerte in über 60 Ländern absolviert. Sie verkaufte
bis heute über 12 Mio. Tonträger und konnte für ihre Alben legendäre Musiker-Kollegen wie Gene Simmons (KISS), Lemmy Kilmister (Motörhead), Russ Ballard, Slash (Guns N‘ Roses), Pete Steele (Type O
Negative) und unlängst Rob Halford (Judas Priest) gewinnen.

Mercury Studios veröffentlicht am 6. Dezember „Welcome To Shepherd’s Bush“ von den Rolling Stones
in einer Vielzahl von Formaten, darunter zum ersten Mal 4K UHD auf einem Video der Rolling Stones.
Diese Show wurde 1999 im Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London gefilmt, nur wenige Tage vor zwei ausverkauften
Konzerten im Wembley-Stadion. Diese intime Show enthält eine Reihe von tieferen Ausschnitten aus dem
Katalog der Band, einschließlich der ersten und einzigen Aufführung von „Moon Is Up“ (ursprünglich auf
dem Album Voodoo Lounge veröffentlicht) und dem zweiten Auftritt von „Melody“ in ihrer Setlist. Weitere
Raritäten sind „I Got The Blues“ und „Brand New Car“.

Zum 20. Jubiläum des fünften Studioalbums des Rappers Ludacris wird ”The Red Light District” auf Vinyl
neu veröffentlicht. Ludacris prägte den Hip-Hop der Nullerjahre, was sich auch auf dieser Platte mit Hits,
wie ”The Potion”, ”Get Back”, ”Number One Spot” und ”Pimpin’ All Over the World” widerspiegelt.
