Palace return with their most open-hearted collection yet, 'Ox', out September 18th. The announcement of the new album arrives alongside the release of its latest single, ‘Dream On’. Palace’s fifth album, Ox, finds beauty and wisdom in the most human of revelations: watching a child encounter music for the first time, feeling overcome by gratitude, or sensing that the possibilities ahead are endless The album arrives as Palace continue to thrive as an independent act. It's unapologetically playful, and grunge- and pop-tinged, unafraid to break tradition and reimagine what a modern take on the genre can look like, complete with Charli XCX references and anxiety attacks during Uber rides.

Liam Hayes is an acclaimed American musical artist known for his songwriting and uncompromising approach to making records. He started cassette multitracking while a preteen and made his first real studio recording at twenty one. This started an obsession that ultimately led to his releasing a 7” single (Found A Little Baby/Three Quarters Blind Eyes) on a small US indie label. Those tracks garnered the attention of the UK music press, and on the strength of those songs a career was launched. The follow up was highly anticipated by critics and listeners alike, but rather than playing to expectations he delivered a highly personal album of solo piano/vocal songs (More You Becomes You). Not one to repeat himself, Hayes started off the millennium by serving up the extravagant pop/soul opus (Fed). Both records are now considered to be masterpieces.

Hayes’ songs are recognised for their exquisite melodies, poetic lyrics and distinctive vocals. He’s released seven albums, two singles and a soundtrack, and applies his craftsmanship to a variety of genres from orchestrated pop to stripped down rock. Comparisons to Brian Wilson, Laura Nyro, Carole King, Harry Nilsson, Badfinger (and even Prince) are numerous. His music takes the best of radio and stellar classic pop records of the 60’s and 70’s and brings it into the present.

Along with making records Hayes has appeared on screen performing his music in High Fidelity (directed by Stephen Frears) and A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III(directed by Roman Coppola) which he also wrote the soundtrack for.

In this, their first production for Hayes, are (executive producer) Terrence Washington and (multi-instrumentalist/producer/arranger) Vincent Carlo with additional contributions from Terrence’s father, legendary arranger TOM TOM 2084 (Chi-Lites, Phil Collins, Plush).

His latest album, Dancing Backwards, sees Liam stepping through the shadows in his life and into a new musical day.

„Tommyland: The Ride“, ursprünglich 2005 veröffentlicht, ist Tommy Lees zweites Soloalbum. Es erschien
seinerzeit zeitgleich mit seinem gleichnamigen Buch sowie seiner Reality-TV-Serie „Tommy Lee Goes To
College“. Die zweite Single des Albums, „Good Times“, diente als Titelsong der Serie. Zu den Gastmusikern
auf dem Album zählen unter anderem Butch Walker, Chad Kroeger und Nick Carter.

Camille Thomas’ neues Album Philip Glass: For Cello entstand auf persönliche Einladung des Komponisten
selbst. Anlässlich seines 90. Geburtstags vereint dieses einzigartige, von der Künstlerin initiierte Projekt
eine Auswahl der bedeutendsten Werke von Philip Glass sowie seine Originalkompositionen für Cello – mit

Marc-André Hamelins erstes reines Chopin-Album wurde mit begeisterten Kritiken bedacht und vereinte

Ashkenazy gefeiert. Nun widmet er sich weiteren Meilensteinen des russischen Repertoires mit dieser Aufnahme von Mussorgskys „Bilder einer Ausstellung“ und einer Sammlung von Prokofjew-Miniaturen.
Mussorgskys Meisterwerk ist eines der beliebtesten programmatischen Werke des 19. Jahrhunderts. Es
stellt jedoch auch eine große pianistische Herausforderung dar, da die spektakulären Klangtexturen des
Höhepunkts „Das große Tor von Kiew“ höchste technische Fertigkeiten erfordern.

Der aus Brooklyn, New York, stammende Trompeter Eddie Gale (1941-2020) machte sich Mitte der 1960er

Tenorsaxophonisten Coleman Hawkins nun im Rahmen der neuen Moodsville Acoustic Sounds Reihe. Mit
Ronnell Bright (Klavier), Kenny Burrell (Gitarre), Ron Carter (Bass) und Andrew Cyrille (Schlagzeug) gilt
das Album als eines der besten Alben aus Hawkins’ später Schaffensphase. Diese Neuauflage erscheint auf

Recorded at Grandmaster Studios in Hollywood, California by the band and Brian Jenkins (KYUSS, SCREAMING TREES), "In Search Of_" is considered a classic of the '90s and a pillar for the "stoner rock" movement. Highlights include the lead single "Asphalt Risin'," "Redline" and fan favorite "Cyclone Launch." This limited edition 2,000 unit run is pressed on Red Blue Vinyl & Custom Night Sky Vinyl with each LP in a printed sleeve with never before seen images and the gatefold package design includes never before seen photos of the band. The second LP contains the previously released demos for the album that the band recorded themselves in 1995 on a 4-track Tascam. Both LPs feature newly remastered audio for maximum fidelity. Antorcha are one of the best-kept secrets of the Mexican underground rock scene. Their influences came from Iron Butterfly, Black Sabbath, Blue Cheer, Vanilla Fudge, and others. At times they also sounded like MC5, with whom they shared an anarchist and anti-establishment spirit. After a brief period during which they recorded only a couple of 7-inch singles for the Orfeón label that had a very limited distribution, Mexican rockers Antorcha fully embraced a DIY approach to managing their own career. They had evolved into a heavy psychedelic rock group, with no metaphors and no compromises. Anarchists in a country that could barely utter the word without trembling. It was the final years of the 1960s. They recorded five self-produced EPs, sold exclusively at their live performances, passed from hand to hand as if each record were a clandestine act. While MC5 stirred the streets of Detroit alongside the White Panthers, Antorcha was doing much the same in a Mexico that preferred to look the other way. The band operated as a cooperative: agreements were reached collectively, and income was shared equally. Antorcha became a forgotten band in their own country, overlooked even by Mexican rock experts. Yet their legacy proved influential on an organizational level for later groups in the independent scene, which followed Antorcha's model of self-releasing and self-managing their work. This compilation brings together the best of their discography, collecting self-released 7-inch records originally issued between 1971 and 1976, along with material that never appeared on their EPs. Includes an insert featuring liner notes by Carlos Icaza "Tropicaza" and photographs of the band.

Released in 1983, "En la guía, en el listín" remains a permanent anomaly in the history of Spanish pop music, with few clear predecessors and even fewer descendants. It is an imperfect yet fascinating catalog of the many faces Derribos Arias could reveal. Its sound combines odd electric rock, leftfield proto-hip-hop, and dark, immersive songs that simply defy categorization. An essential album. Includes liner notes and the artwork of the original insert. By late 1981, the San Sebastián-based group La Banda sin Futuro had already transformed into Derribos Arias. Their first two singles dazzled critics eager for new ideas capable of placing Spanish pop alongside the contemporary music increasingly arriving from abroad in real time. 'Branquias bajo el agua', the standout track from the band's debut single, topped the list of Best Songs of 1982 as voted by listeners of Diario Pop on Radio 3 (Spanish National Radio). With an expanded four-piece lineup and a larger budget than they had enjoyed for their earlier singles, the band entered the prestigious Kirios Studios to record their album, with Paco Trinidad serving as producer. The electric intensity of 'Intima decoración' and 'Crematorio' -angular, off-kilter reinterpretations of a strain of rock descended from The Velvet Underground and The Stooges, a style with virtually no precedent in Spain-are excellent examples of the band's sound. To aberrate was the key term Poch used to describe his ineffable working method: a fearless creative freedom without which songs such as 'Lo que hay' could never have existed. The track stands as a leftfield proto-hip-hop number, later reworked as 'Disco pocho,' demonstrating both his admirable lack of prejudice and his complete disregard for any commercial ambitions the album might have had.Unfortunately, this album would never have a follow-up.
