Juan Atkins, Jeff Mills, Frankie Knuckles, Larry Levan, Kerri Chandler, Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Daft Punk, Moodymann, Nina Kravitz, Seth Troxler, Motor City Drum Ensemble... these people are the reason why we strive to produce artists. This is what makes us want to be a part of this new generation
of producers, hoping to promote the work of young artists that we wish to see grow into people that inspire us by their values and their commitments to electronic music. Why Sprëe Factory The Spree originates in the Berlin river, secondary birthplace of Techno music as well as a cosmopolitan city. We do not wish to trap ourselves in
a selected number of sub-genres, indeed, we produce funk, house, ambient and techno artists. Factory Because of Pink Floyd's animal's album cover, because of the raves in factories in the 90s and
for the independent spirit of the eponymous Manchester label.

The young Berlin label RoundQubeMusik gets on its fifth release, last one for 2014.
To sing it is the Italian, German based, Francesco Passantino, who now adds the "Molecular EP" to his rich discography.
The common thread of the three songs contained in it is definitely the rhythm, on which glide sounds and tangles of micro melodies. The title track also is reinterpreted in the remix of Rush Arp & Maurice Giovannini, continuing on the same path marked minimalist hypnotism, a defined time MicroHouse.

Having completed a landmark year in 2011 with the labels 15 Year anniversary celebrations (including a 12-date club tour and 28 track various artist compilation), Drumcode gets back to the future in 2012 with a busy schedule of releases. Followers of Drumcode over recent times will recognize some familiar names within the schedule with projects from Adam Beyer & Joseph Capriati, Alan Fitzpatrick, Kaiserdisco and Ben Sims; whose 'Smoke & Mirrors' album was a 2011 highlight for Drumcode and for many others within the techno scene. Drumcodes DC Ltd series is home to the seminal labels more underground material. An outlet for the type of unfussy, primal music that has always been the underlying foundation of techno, but separated from the main brand in a way that is meant to highlight the continued importance of the true underground within a techno scene that has become less defined by its roots and more concerned with commercial success. Releasing infrequently and only available on limited edition vinyl, DC Ltd will feature contributions from Drumcodes roster of artists alongside new signings and re-issues of never-before-on-vinyl Drumcode tracks. Eyes Wide Open sees Fitzpatrick on typically bombastic form, albeit within a sparser framework of sounds that include chugging industrial rhythms, reverberating metallic frequencies and wonky harmonic keys in addition to Alans trademark heavy-funk vibes. Eyes Wide Shut retains all the same musical elements with the exception of the ride cymbals and the main stab sound being fully closed; providing a dryer, tighter alternative that some DJs may find gives the track a more workable dynamic within their sets.

Last few years have seen Barac capturing the very soul of the romanian underground in a very productive yet very unreleased manner. Few carefully selected tracks have been released while others are probably kept for the right moment. With his album on Metereze running hot and a new label under his command Barac is for sure the man of the hour. Better yet, the man of the Moment.

For the first instalment of his new Moment imprint he teams up with friend and fellow producer Vincent Iulian. These two go way back and they have a lot of history together. Music wise they share the same passion for driving mysterious tech grooves and Theory EP is all about that.

In form is groovy and dark with a haunting synth accompanied by subtle xylophones. On the other side we take a dive in the atmospheric breaks grooves of In colour. Uplifting and mysterious with the right amount of balls to keep you going.

Portuguese vinyl-only imprint Xquisite Recordings is finally back. Two years ago, Romanian
talent Ivel Tax cut the ribbon for the imprint's debut, dropping a very appropriately considered
exquisite' double tracker of carefully selected, uplifiting tracks. With solid drum programming
and a dreamy, hooky edge that moved heads, ears and feet worldwide, the kick-off for the imprint
started with great momentum. This time around, Xquisite places its bets on one of Portugal's
freshest talents, Cleymoore, along with a remix from worldwide known alchemist of
micro-grooves, Thomas Melchior.
The original track Seikou' is one of Cleymoore's typical hypno-expanssive tracks, with
twists and turns, multiple layering acts of swinging moods, and intricate but stripped-down
syncopated rhytms. Perlon's master of minimalism undresses the original work even further,
enhancing its dancefloor appeal with the bare bones of the original, placing focus in rhythmic
constructions while maintaining the highly hypnotic nature of the original version, and a very
personal twist with a added vocal.. like extra seasoning to a already tasty dish.

The cover is fully illustrated with a photograph of old Lisbon, making this a very intimate

1 year later Contur is back with another great ep from Emi, this time using another one of his many aliases, Emi Nescu. Names were switched but the approach remains the same, you can feel is Emi doing his thing once again.

Simfru is particularly pumping with a pinch of melancholy now and then. Seems to be the all around track that you can play whenever wherever.

Sirius on the other hand is reminiscent of Constanta's atmosphere, one of the tracks from Contur 01. Powerful enough to make you dance anytime, this moody track is guaranteed to make you dream also.

Fifth Release From The Much Anticipated Imprint Involving The Founders Of Stablo Alongside Matt Radio Slave Edwards.

Less than a year ago Adrian Niculae, aka Priku, released Motif 001 which was shortly followed by his second release in early spring this year. Now things are getting serious and we have 3 discs to celebrate Motif 003 as well as Adrian's first album. 8 tracks have been carefully selected to fulfill this mission, all carrying Adrian's acoustic legacy forward. First disc comes on side A with 'Re Publik,' a one dubby monster where as a more acoustic sound is revealed on side B, Vid is quite relaxed at first but the groove is still there. The hats and the snares join to make everything fall in place.

The second disc draws a more melodic line with 'E Peste Tot' and 'Brother John's' delayed synths and subtle pads. 'Killer funk' gets serious on side D with Adrian showing a darker yet powerful creation. Creepy reverberations complete the distant synths and catchy groove.

Last but not least, the third disc includes another three amazing tracks. 'Do I' is as aggressive as Adrian can be on this album, stripped minimal techno at it's best, followed by 'Raw Beats', a rolling mellow dubby creation.

The album ends with 'True Story', a long and relaxed journey, combining a perfect groove and a smooth bassline with classical elements towards the end.

For their second release, Sound Of Vast enroll revered Italian producer Niro who, delivers some of his finest work to date. Remix by Japanese superb producer Gonno (Beats In Space / International Feel).
Amsterdam/London based label The Sound Of Vast was founded in 2014 by Japanese DJs Knock and Red Pig Flower.
After made great success of the first EP as an official imprint, the highly praised 'The Shades' by Egal 3, For its second issue, VAST enrolls Italian revered producer Niro (unclear, DB Artists Musique and Memento) who, with these 3 tracks, comes up with one of his finest selection of works to date. Taking inspiration from the analogue sounds that permeate his musical landscape - and his studio - Niro just went with the flow here and put no boundaries to what was coming out of the speakers, a journey between land - with the classic Roland synthesizers to set the tone - and space - experimenting on a tripper and more colourful vibe. 'La Cochonne Intergactique' is wobbling bass and flanger percussions introduce spacey pads and deep dreamy atmospheres, until a freaky melody breaks out and leads to a soft and slightly dark closing. Its remix brings the percussive elements and drums to the fore, giving a more muscular feeling and a bumpy groove, remix by one of the most respected Japanese producer Gonno (Beats In Space / International Feel). 'Krissy Moon' is robotic bleeps and stabs play along twisted beats and computerized rhythms, like the soundtrack to some crazy German late-70s alternative SCI-FI movie, while 'Tender As Asphalt''s sweeps and filters frenzy opens up to bouncy chords and acid ambiences. Also to add more vast flavour into this release, Red Pig Flower's remix had complicated drum tricks and more emotional vibe, as lunatic as 'Krissy Moon' indeed.
This EP contain digital only and vinyl only tracks as usual, as we believe in 'Krissy Moon' Niro's original track you will just find on vinyl, and Red pig flower's experimental groovy remix just will be on digital, both of them can not be missed.
Lastly, this EP will pressed 500 copies only with out repressing, quicker people will have a benefit as usual.

Hot on the heels of the first release on Visionquest Special Editions is the second part of Quilla's 'Beautiful Hybrid' Remix Project. 'Part Two' features Matthew Herbert, Ryan Crosson & Terje Bakke's takes' on tracks from Quilla's forthcoming debut album 'Beautiful Hybrid' which will be released later this year on Ritual Fire Records.

Featured here are four diverse and innovative remixes of the original tracks. Matthew Herbert produces an off-kilter, shape-shifting sonic colossus of a remix of 'Biological Clock' that is truly inspiring. Also featured is Herbert's Instrumental version of his remix that is equally as stupendous. On the flip and Visionquest member Ryan Crosson delivers a mix of two halves: the heady, hypnotic percussive take on 'We All Have Shadow' transmogrifies halfway through as the razor sharp acid dissects the rhythm with rapier accuracy and jacks the groove! Finally Terje Bakke, takes the tempo down with his Dub Attempt of 'Labyrinth', steeped in creaky atmospheric resonance this is great interpretation.

This is the second of three remix projects with Quilla that will be released on Visionquest Special Editions this year. Please note these will be vinyl only and a limited pressing. The third part of the remix project will feature remixes from Agoria & Wareika.

12 releases strong already, (a:rpia:r) has been silent for the last 2 years, since Petre Inspirescu's Gradina Onirica hit the shelves of your favourite record shop. It is now Raresh's turn to release something special and indeed he did.

Vivaltu is an old gem, a subtle uplifting track driven by a powerful resonator, perfect for that special moment'. The male mumbling voices provide the track with that extra eclectic feel. This is in fact Raresh's only track on Vivaltu EP, the rest are remixes.

Side B presents a minimal house interpretation remix by none other than chilean legend and friend, Ricardo Villalobos. The resonator is still here but in come some childish voices to make it all perfect. Perfect for the dancefloor.

Side C brings forward another member of the (a:rpia:r) family, none other than contemporary wizard Petre Inspirescu. His take has a very cinematic approach, building and building for 4 minutes before the kick even starts. The rich percussive atmosphere is completed with a brilliant melody reminiscent of his classical experiments. This track is an absolute masterpiece !

Aloe Varu is the third chosen for this remix pack and indeed he was chosen wise. His stripped down remix spans for 13 minutes and completes the story of (a:rpia:r) 13.

The first release, simply entitled 'Primu''', sets the tone for things to come, as it uncompromisingly proposes a double 12' package featuring 4 pieces from our local heroes Mihigh, Arapu, Barac, Priku and Sepp.
Disc 1 kicks off the A side with a collaboration between club resident Mihigh and Arapu. It's the only collaboration of the record however don't be fooled, it's a powerful one to say the least. It's not easy to put into words why it is so, but don't be afraid to let yourself be hypnotised by it.
The B side sees Barac do what Barac does best, make you go 'woah, where did that come from!',  although that's the last thing you'll be thinking of when you hear it, as it has quite a few memorable things going on inside that you'll love it the more you listen to it.
Disc 2 is the more subtle one of the pair however equally as addictive and certainly justifies why there are 2 parts to this debut release. Side C picks up the tone and mood of the first 2 side and takes it to another place entirely with eerie vocals in the forefront and a strong groove to carry it, and you, far far away, the only way Priku knows how. Finally, last but certainly not least there's Sepp's effort, 'Nopti Tacute' to end the package on a high note. It's the more 'tamed' of the bunch but we find a great deal of charm and finesse in the loose and somewhat otherworldly pads.

Die MOVE in Frankfurt hat sich als Veranstaltungsreihe in den letzten drei Jahren durch akribische Kreativ-Arbeit in der urbanen und schnelllebigen Frankfurter Techno Szene als Institution entwickelt und nachhaltig verwurzelt.
Bescheidene und doch innovative First-Class bookings, außergewöhnliche Dekorationen, Tänzerinnen und Tänzer und nicht zuletzt das eingeschworene MOVE Resident Team begeistern allmonatlich die Besucher und lassen die Welt für einen bewegenden Augenblick still stehen.

Anlässlich des dreijährigen Bestehens fängt diese Compilation den charakteristischen Sound und den gelebten Spirit der MOVE auf einem Tonträger ein. Darin präsentieren sich die Resident-DJ´s, liveacts und Produzenten mit ihren individuellen, exklusiv für die Compilation erschaffenen Werken. Die musikalische Bandbreite reicht von intensivem Dark Techno bis hin zu clubbigem Peaktime Techno. Für die Compilation konnten die beiden international erfahrenen Techno-Produzenten Gayle San und Brian Sanhaji gewonnen werden. Sie ergänzen mit ihren Produktionen ein authentisches Gesamtwerk, welches als Start-Up für einen Clubabend aber auch zur Hochphase in jedem Technoherz den passenden Beat in den Adern pulsieren lässt. Die Compilation steht gleichzeitig für den Start-Up des neuen MOVE eigenen Labels (MOVE Records). Die musikalische Grundausrichtung des Labels findet sich wieder in groovigem Techhouse als auch treibendem Techno. We're excited to kickoff our first release on Moving Vibrations! Nechaykin Evgeniy was born in a small town in the Urals, Russia. He discovered German techno, which later inspired him to produce his own music and started DJ-ing at the age of 18. His music is a way to express his emotions and life experiences and he personifies his productions by using live instruments. His 'Marine Shade EP' is his debut release and we are proud to have him on board.

The efforts of label chief Max_Mand Attic Music's own Fabrizio Lapiana as so far proven to be a potent combination. Sharing wax space for the last two releases on M_Rec Ldt's discreet new 10' vinyl series, the pair have so far turned in a stirring duplet of some of the finest, fully-formed pieces of modern techno music.
Now, for the third installment, Max_M steps aside to let a brand new outfit take the helm.
The mysterious and so far unreleased Overall Severitynestles comfortably into the A-side with another swollen, undulating melodic arrangement, true to form of what we've seen from the series so far. Then on the B-side, Fabrizio Lapiana offers more of his dark and groovy techno, toned in what has become a signature splash of vintage British-redolent electronica.

Jana Kirschner - a child of the bear and blueberry soaked forests of the geographical Centre of Europe, the land locked land now known as Slovakia; mushrooms, berries, and nuts were her toys, the folk songs of Slovaks, Roma, and the Magyar, her education..... Winning spandex clad dance comps at 8 years old down the local "Dom Kulture" - culture house - disturbingly garish singing competitions by 12, and early forays into songwriting via misguided western wannabe production.... the surest route to 90's era Slovakian stardom.

Jana's changed course so abruptly so frequently in her now eight album career no one dare guess her next move, yet with Muzika she's landed, and announced, HERE is music, a celebration, no rules, pompous, bombastic, Day-Glo nonsense, it could only come from central Europe, it should be awful yet it's somehow brilliant, the one single lyric "Muzika" repeats as mantra with Krautrock drums and baroque-esque vocal arrangements and blankets of analogue synths ("Kraut Barock"!).... What Why Because: Musika! That's why. No more need be said. It will leave no lover of true music behind.

On the flip side, the antithesis: Prophet 5 circular pattern from start to close on a slow 3/4, again one single word "Idu" (they're coming or they're going) repeated in up to four part harmony, glossing, and sliding in and out of standard tonality.... an ABABA form where the A is instrumented by cello & clarinet, and the B is taken in turn by Cimbalom and Marimba. Time stands still. A dream rest after the revolution of Muzika is complete.

Long awaited understand 004 sees the light of press as a double ep containing 4 tracks from our own Lazar Cezar. Om vedea may well be or not be seen as an album, as each track has it's own individual life, nevertheless you can somehow feel they come from the same source.
First disc shows a very dubby side of Cezar. Time en spies is a haunting psychedelic (yet powerful) tool while Sun2216 is an layed down percussive dub track.
Disc two is strongly directed to the dance floor. If you were wondering if Cezar can do techno now you've got the answer. Shakeuit is a track that really means business ! Adagium or truism is no stranger to that concept also but tackling the electro chord as well. If you needed something to remember now you've got it !

FreundSein recordings presents their first release.
The label owner and producer team Pawlo Tojeda and Chris Lustig present their first own release from their label with tracks from Maximiljan, Adrianho & Chazzy Chaz. FreundSein and the meaning itself 'be a friend' is symbolic of their decision and of what they really want to express.

Keeping in line with the trademark birdsmakingmachine sound, comes the fth release on
their self-entitled label: BMM 004. With a more straight-to-the-point approach than its
predecessor, the EP starts off on the dance oor, with rumbling bass lines and heavy
metallic snares juggling with effects-laden delicacies on the A1's 'Ahora Vengo'. The
arrival of 'Ash but not Arthur' on the A2 calms things down bit and takes the listener for
a gentle journey through ambient pads and cleverly swinging hi hats, while on the ip,
things get a little more bouncy in 'Oscar's Critical Jack', which is mostly due to the fact
its main ingredient - the solid playful bass line - blends effortlessly with the higher
frequency 'spices', keys, strings and rhythmic parts. The end credits roll down with
'Bonfume', another relatively smooth yet jacking swinger that could either be used to
kick it up a notch in a warm-up set or be danced to while nding yourself at an afterhour.

When  DFC TEAM (PERSI, COLLINO & GEMOLOTTO)  started their Atahualpa project Techno Music was far to be a cool trend in the venues. Even more innovative was to mash up acoustic, electronic,  traditional instruments as Peruvian panflutes and synthesizers while  evocative voices drive listeners to the world of last Inca emperor.
It was in 1990 when  ULTIMO IMPERIO by ATAHUALPA topped   in several countries around the world  becoming a milestone in the dance music history.

Bucharest's electronic scene is surely flourishing these days. New artists, new sounds and ,not least, new labels appear almost every day. It was time for old comrades Piticu and Herodot to start one of their own. Unanim is the name they've unanimously chosen to represent them. First come out the sounds of piticu wich are rather techno and agressive. It's time to dance on both sides of tipic ep and we unanimously like the ideea. Der untergang seems to be a classic techno track, if that track was made by Piticu of course. Raw elements run a long way before downfalling into a brilliant lead.

Micro phonia is the quiet one, but actually it's not quiet at all. Here the bassline is the hook. the track grows and grows, adding layer after layer of twilight on the trippy percussion, only to end in a mystic dark note.

Our fifth release brings on a very special project in the form of Raresh, Vlad Caia and Cristi Cons together as Verico. The Numiris EP consists of a collection of three live studio recordings, with additional editing and arrangement done by Vlad Caia.

Lee Curtiss, Ryan Crosson & Cesar Merveille form the Sweatshop Boys and this May they drop their second EP 'Wanna Be More' on Leftroom with remixes from Tom Demac and Ryan Crosson himself.

Sweatshop Boys return to the Leftroom family following their 'Wide World' EP released back in June 2013. Collectively, the three artists stack up an impressive back catalogue with tracks spanning labels such as Wolf + Lamb, Visionquest, Cadenza, Get Physical and Culprit.

The opening track 'Wanna Be More' leads with a dancing bass line alongside sub-led low-end tones and a stripped back rhythm, all of which gets seamlessly laced over broken female intonations and whirring atmospherics to deliver a subtle yet infectious groove.

On remix duty Welsh lad Tom Demac, whose recently been tipped by no less than Thom Yorke of Radiohead, breaks into the raw side of things utilising distorted harmonies that build towards a warm breakdown in earthy percussion and rumbling bass lines.

For the final offering on the EP Ryan Crosson re-imagines his original and twists it into a deep down-tempo house cut, chopping up the female murmurings and working them around shuffling drum patterns and a quaking bass line.
