PARAMIDA’s Love On The Rocks imprint kicks off 2025 with Mineral House: a brand new EP tesy of Retromigration & Niklas Wandt

The duo, collaborating here for the first time, have created five cuts of irresistible house music – a tapestry of analogue synths, drum machines, effects and computer wizardry. Shimmering high-end frequencies and ‘90s-inspired grooves with effervescent, liquid touches; life-affirming kicks, uplifting pads, amen breaks and vocal samples: it’s all here and quite unlike anything you’ve heard from them before.

“We met in Amsterdam through a mutual friend and struck up an immediate connection, as jazz, funk and electronic music practitioners with similarly diverse interests and tastes,” explains Niklas. “On another visit a few months later, I showed Malik some demos I had recorded in Berlin that I liked but felt stuck with. Within a matter of a few minutes, he flipped them into a pumping and extremely funky beast that became our first track together. This spawned an on and off process over the next couple ths of ping-ponging ideas and elements back and forth.”

The result: an exquisite vision of ultra-fresh, glistening future house from a bright sonic planet, replete with layers of intricate programming that bubble up like rarified elements around the listener, conjuring memories of ancient shapes and forms, joyfully untethered to the past, where magical fauna soar in the skies, and dance in celebration in the crystalline waters below

KR3 Records, is proud to welcome – Shuya – to its roster. The Japanese producer whose influences come mostly from the Noise Scene, began his sonic journey as a singer and guitarist with the experimental avant-garde group called Qujaku. With his s/h/u/y/a solo project he keeps a noise-industrial attitude to his electronic music productions. The beginning of his collaboration with KR3 was therefore inevitable. The artist and the label share a mutual approach to sound, with the processing of raw materials into scratchy, deep and mental beats playing a key part in their interpretation of Techno. The Sleeper EP – is the first vinyl release under this pseudonym. The cover art is curated by the designer Pablo I Prada, who says about his works: “I try to capture human evil in my paintings”. With his music, Shuya does exactly the same. His productions are a disturbing mixture of noise-techno that perfectly evokes the infernal spirit of human existence that also appears in the artwork. The Sleeper, is a cerebral, red-painted sonic assault. The intro and outro are composed by recordings of his voice and guitar riffs that show us how deep is his connection to his artistic origins. In Woodland is a journey through the duality of solace and survival, marking the artist’s first solo EP since the war in Ukraine began. This five-track release delves into the tension between finding peace and enduring conflict.

At its heart, In Woodland is a tribute to the forest—a sanctuary of strength and reflection, offering escape from life’s chaos. Yet, the title also evokes the woodland camouflage pattern, symbolizing how war leaves an indelible mark on identity.

The EP oscillates between quiet introspection and raw confrontation, blending delicate melodies with haunting textures. Deeply personal and cathartic, it reflects resilience and reminds us of the sanctuaries—both physical and artistic—that sustain us through the darkest times.

Next up on ECHOES OF GLORY are Bulgarian Electro/Punk outfit LES ANIMAUX SAUVAGES and a firm favourite with ANDREW WEATHERALL on his much missed “Music’s not for everyone” radio show. Other ways to break my heart has four cuts in total. Along with the dark pulsating original there are some excellent remixes coming from RICHARD SEN and GRANT DELL and INIGO VONTIER. Sen’s mix is, in his own words “Kind of Arcade Funk meets Throbbing Gristle” while Dell smooths things out with a nice chuggy & dubby mix. INIGO VONTIER takes things psychedelic and enters into a heady breakbeat vibe. Check it! only 300 pressed.

Starting with "Crepuscular Beats Part 1 EP"

Drama is the first EP released by Lourene. Produced by Idris Bena, it's a blend of electro, house and post punk vibes.

We are proud to receive sci fi techno maestro ORBE onboard with this limited edition four cut vinyl.

This sublime space travel begins with Nanometre, starting in an opaque mood, with all the components filtered and growing from below during the hypnotic arrangement.

Synchburst is the second cut on the main side, with shuffled rhythms surrounded by microscopic percussive details and microdrones. The sequences are spiced with laser beams from time to time interrupting the mantra and bringing dynamics to the dance floor.

B side starts with Capacitance, going gummy and elastic, keeping the elements minimal and playing intelligently with the groove and his usual alien sound palette.

Final cut is EEPROM, an electric soundtrack to non gravity: repetitive, mental and as always full of sonic details that add spice to the illusion of staticity.

Fernando Sanz, also known as ORBE is one of the key producers in the sci-fi techno realm, respected worldwide due to his very personal sound cooked with his incredible modular arsenal.

Right after the TWCOR debut for the digital branch of Planet Rhythm, the mysterious TWCOR is back with a monstrous package of top notch dancefloor techno. Grey Matter EP revolves around deep low ends and exciting FX cuts. The 4 tracks included in this package are a fine combination of sturdy techno sounds that should turn some heads among lovers of the genre.

The various artists alternative sound concept (UDE001) is the first reference, presenting a variety of styles and sounds which represents a sound personality from a listening point.

These artists residing in Malaga, Madrid and Barcelona have participated with the first project to give the presentation.

-Caradusanto, multidisciplinary artist includes “Semillas” made with analog modular and ramdomized sequences.

-Dark Vektor, a pioneer in the electro scene, surprises us with “En Mitg De L’Espai”, sounds that are unusual for him and keeping the same relationship with his clarity when hearing it, sung with his native linguistics and message inside.

-Intervalo, shows us a B side where the broken rhythm predominates, its harmonic essence and melody continues to be its identification, we talk about “Solitude”.

-Guillermo Garate, innovates with electro sounds achieving the same thing, another B side of this artist “Larga”.

-Tio solo by habit in its production slides on synthesizers and analog drum machines, thus achieving “Dark Fluid” an accelerated drum & Bass rhythm differentiated from it with atmospheric and acid pads.

Firmly entrenched in techno's haziest alcoves, every new record from Denise Rabe is as punishingly hypnotic an experience as it aims to penetrate the deepest laid of your cerebral zones. Having plied her trade on Arts' sub-division Arts Collective before moving on to establish her own dedicated label, Rabe, in 2017, the Berlin-based DJ and producer steps up with her much anticipated debut platter for Stroboscopic Artefacts, as she takes the helm for the fifth sortie of the Totem series. True to her love for all things droney and psychoactive, this time Rabe has us descending into rugged, hostile sonic terrains with just a headlamp and the thick mantle of darkness for closest companions. Ahead’s a demented safari across nightmare-prone visions and thunderstruck vistas.

Hosing off the loud, churning 909 kicks and passive-aggressive machine talk straightaway, 'Manifesto' sets the tone for the warehouse-sized hammering to come. Evil-minded swashes of hyper-delayed percs and criss-crossing chimes lash out in successive waves, further subjugating the dancers as bars fly by. A more spacious and atmospheric number, B-side opener 'Clouds' heads for quieter high-altitude spheres as the dubbed-out drums beat an off-kilter, leftfield friendly pulse and ominous synth stabs and pads envelop the listener in entrancing textural folds and interplays. Back to floor-ready dynamics, the adrenaline booster 'Don't Leave' caps it off on a truly mind-bending tip. Primed for unrelenting peak time action with its angry buzzard-like drones, pacey 4/4 swing and refined palette of eerie circuit noises and click-y minimalism, this one's a high-impact steamroller, sure to get maximum response when things start getting muscular.

DJ Normal 4 lands on Fantastic Planet with his highly anticipated solo release, Spore Clouds EP. This sonic journey channels the raw, hypnotic energy of ’90s underground Goa trance while weaving in fresh, modern textures.

Fabrizio Lapiana is back on his own label with O.B.E. (out-of-body experience), a four bleeping and mental techno cuts EP, including a superb remix from the spanish DJ and producer Orbe.

The compilation includes 5 Downtempo and 2 Deep House tracks. Marcel primarily focuses on slow and soft grooves with jazzy elements. The “Muzai in the House” and the“Cool Stuff at 4 o’clock” gives a jazzy fl are with a nice bassline. The “Sun-Kissed Shores” is a cool deep House track with a nice trumpet solo. The closing track “End of the Day” by Forteba is a calm and warm deep house song.

Magnifiks Samm (BE) is here to lay down his first EP ever. Coming from Belgium, Antwerp , he always said at one point in his life he'll start releasing music. Well here we are - Samm's sound is carved in a way harmonics and groovy percussion lines are build in a way there's no stopping it on the dancefloor. “Requiem For The Ontario Science Centre” is Tony’s ninth full-length LP since 2017, following a series of acclaimed records on labels like L.I.E.S. Records and Telephone Explosion which received coverage and reviews from established outlets like Pitchfork and Resident Advisor. “Requiem For The Ontario Science Centre” pays homage to the beloved 1960’s Canadian landmark and renowned brutalist architectural marvel, which was abruptly closed in the summer of 2024.

The album features longtime collaborator and Caribou touring band member Colin Fisher on Saxophone. The music is Rich with kaleidoscopic saxophone loops, surrealist sound collages, and retro-futuristic synthesizer mirages and will surely resonate with fans of Boards of Canada, Terry Riley and Don Cherry’s “Brown Rice”

A new EP by UK DJ / producer, Controlled Weirdness lands on Cultivated Electronics Ltd (CE's vinyl only sister label) in July. Heads will know Controlled Weirdness (real name Neil Keating) from his monthly radio show on Threads, his Presence Unknown label and Electric Sweat events. But he's actually been rocking the decks since the mid-'80s when as a youngster, Electro and early '80s pirate radio started his obsession with electronic music and he played his first gig at "The House of Dolls" in Farringdon where he soon became resident. After a stint in New York from 1989 he met Joel Bevacqua aka DJ Deadly Buda, who after returning to his hometown of Pittsburgh invited Neil to play at the first ever rave there in 1991, leading to a 6-month stint of events. Neil eventually returned to London in 1992 and started a radio show on pirate station Chillin FM alongside his sister, Stacey (later known as NoYeahNo). Many more events followed until in 1996 he formed Unearthly Records. Since then, he has played worldwide from plush clubs to dirty warehouses and has appeared on a variety of labels including Audio Illusion, Control Tower, Praxis, Zhark, Dirty Needles, Fdb and Still Raven. On 'In The Shadows' he delivers 4 earthy and raw Electro cuts with exciting electronics, tough beats and wonky acid.

The EP delves into spooky-dooky electro that squelches along with broken soles, warm breaky-bombastic fun and angular electro haus that evokes mid 2000s fringe attitudes. All in all it is UK music at its very best, a melange of styles mashed together tightly under the pressure cooker environment of Britannia's broken promises. There's even a bonus remix from Klasse Wrecks' regular Omega III who takes the original track on a joyride along the M62 in his broken Vauxhall Astra.

Australian producer Luke Alessi is back on DJ Tennis’ iconic Life and Death label with his latest record, the ‘After Five’ EP.
Picture a roaring 1920s debauched, excessive and riotous cocktail party with screaming brass moments meets 1970s funk and disco grooves that loop and tumble you into a hypnotic state while Barry White's voice guides you through the whole experience. ‘After Five’ was designed to make you feel sexy, groovy and a little bit wild.
A sonic journey through moody elegance and late-night allure, the release is complemented by remixes from boundary-pushing producers Pablo Bozzi and Aldonna.
The title track, ‘After Five’, released in November 2024 to an avalanche of praise, proving Luke Alessi’s knack for crafting sophisticated beats that resonate across dancefloors.
