Kicking off the spring '18 with an exceptionally crafted release from New York / France collaboration duoSid Vaga & Herald next up on Martin Eyerer & Rainer Weichhold's Kling Klong imprint. 'Be as One EP' delivers nothing less than three jaw dropping, punchy dance floor pleasers. On the A-side, the title track 'Be as One' features vocals by Chicago's Roy Davis Jr. including a smashing 'Body2Body' rendition by Toronto's hometown hero, Nathan Barato. While the EP closes with 'Dissident' orig. mix on the B side that rolls with intricate percussive rhythms, a jaunty bassline sprinkled nicely with dubbed out vocals. - Jay Hill, The Writing Studio NYC

With countless releases on Relief, Yoshitoshi and of course his own imprint Incorrect Music the Detroit native Anthony Attalla has some major influence on the US house scene for years. Martin Eyerer & Rainer Weichhold are glad to welcome him on board of their Kling Klong label including a great remx from Florian Kruse.

Shaun Bateman takes centre stage for the latest release on Droogs under both of his Nolige and SB81 aliases respectively. As Nolige, ‘The Blue Hour’ is the holiest of Drum & Bass grails – a much sought af ter lost dub dating back to and damaging dance f loors f or over a decade. As SB81 ‘Drone Zone’ is future-bound with a nod to archetypal Drum & Bass foundations. A dualistic release that explores two sides of the artist.

Here is the 10th anniversary release from the irresistible AcidWorx producers, with more funky, squelching acid cuts for your brain.
This time we venture into the lands of Japan, Australia, Netherlands and Switzerland for our doses of acid supply. Njoi!

One of the most important artists in the development of the Horo sound, Astral Projection is the first full length ASC album for the Horo label. Astral Projection follows on clearly from 'Imagine The Future' with the development of the Grey Area sound progressing and becoming intrinsic to a large majority of ASC's current work. But this LP is not a Grey Area addendum, Astral Projection is a luminous artistic statement from a sonic perfectionist who the term 'sound designer' was made to define. An accomplished and much respected ambient producer, ASC weaves his talent for soaring emotive soundscapes with his undeniable rhythmic prowess across a cohesive 12 track sonic voyage that again accomplishes a rare goal in todays electronic music landscape - a commanding listen from beginning to end. Very few artists are as prolific and consistent as ASC, but we are confident Astral Projection will be revered as one of his finest moments in years to come.

For our second release, we have Harry Light's 3 songs EP Isolation. Harry Light approached to Magnetized online sending us his demo tracks that we loved and wanted to eternalize into a release. We were charmed by how Harry Light combines atmospheric syhnth sounds with big techno characteristic basslines and massive beats keeping his songs fitting for both that time when you're just before to leave to after party and the time you want to wander off into your daydream destinations while commuting with your favorite headphones.

I made this release to commemorate 10 years of Novel Sound.

The hard hitting ‘C2C To Fenchurch Street’ throws down some serious heat, meanwhile ‘Brickfields’ gives off a slick and smoother feel on the flip-side.

Footwork’s master Jay Lumen returns as he’s once again created dance floor magic with “Generation” EP.

The hefty melodic main stage weapon “Generation” with a rolling and smouldering groove forces you on a journey into the colourful world of Techno. B side “No Control” proofs that the simplicity of industrial techno is the ultimate sophistication. And we’ve added “Deep Experience” previously released digitally on Octopus Records. Let the frame of mind decide.

Lucid Dreams is the self-titled, new project from Jason Luxton aka Overlook, which also features close friends Dean Warburton, Joe Theobald & the vocal talents of Manuela Marchis. With Shades of post-punk, trip-hop and film score dynamics, The Lucid Dreams EP is an immersive multi-genre listening experience that travels through murky underworlds and dream-like hazes.

From 'Stone's Throw' to 'Hallucinogenics' the ‘Lucid Dreams’ EP plays more like an LP, with a narrative amalgamating the different moods created by Luxton to present something that feels clear and complete in its vision.

Multi-talented musician and artist Namito has remained an important gure in the very fabric of Berlin's Melodic House & Techno scene, right since its humble beginnings.

His autobiographical concept album Letting Go' charts the story of his early years, when he was forced to ee his native homeland Iran, as a 13 year old boy and plots the struggle of him coming to terms with growing up as a young refugee, on his own in West Berlin.

Letting Go reveals his most pivotal moments between 1985 to 1993: the East-West conict, the fall of the Wall, his entry into a Bhagwan-Commune and his decision to drop out of school for music.

Bogota based venue Kaputt kicks starts the label side of things with seven track compilation featuring Alejandro Paz, Nuclear Digital Transistor, Eddie Mercury & Mijo, Rodion, Kabinett, Damon Jee & Ravintsara, Alvaro Cabana & Julian Sanza.

Born from the new Bogota based club who’ve invited the likes of Call Super, Axel Boman, Kornel Kovacs and more, Kaputt launch a brand new label from the enigmatic streets of Colombia’s capital.
Bogota is a place where the underground scene has recently built a new sound of resistance, a sound that sets the local scene alight through unity and community and is now moving on to break down
international borders.

First up is Alejandro Paz, a Chilean musician and DJ whose music is characterized by vocal displacement and musical selection, full of dark Latin American material. His track 'Bogotá' is a lively
dark disco cut with rugged bass and angular rhythms that are finished with some acid melodies. Eddie Mercury then links with Mexican Mijo for the frazzled bass and dystopian bleep-disco cascades of the
excellent 'Chundify.'

The Nuclear Digital Transistor duo is two DJs from the Bogota scene, Pal and Pizarro, who have released on the Ombra International label run by Curses. Their 'Borrador 9' is cosmic groove with crisp
boom bap drums, hits and plenty of stepping arps that reach for the skies. Rodion is from Rome and is regarded as the “new genius of Italian Dance music” after releases on Gomma, Eskimo and City
Slang. He shows why with the chugging dark disco anthem and freaky vocals of 'Processare.'

Critical Monday boss Damon Jee has released on the likes of Correspondant Records, Roam and Hafendisco and is well regarded by from the likes of Joris Voorn to Chris Liebing. Here he links with
Ravintsara for 'Medea' which is filled with post-punk energy, tense synth progressions and real dance floor darkness. Next up is Kabinett, the darkest side of Colombia’s Nicolás Saavedra, co-founder of Nomada Records and someone who offers up 'Don Kebab' here - a skyward track with big disco arps and twisted bass all gliding along and getting the floor under its spell. Last of all, Alvaro Cabana &
Julian Sanza link for 'Psychedelic Advise' which is moody and haunting, with stark hits and metallic synths that ride over rugged and macho drums

Vol. 3 of the popular Vinyl series 'A Box of Goodies' brings four more brilliant oldschool house tracks, only on limited wax!
'Nervouz Jam' is the opener and brings that special 90s feeling with dope leads and deep bass lines.
'Only Luv' is a soulful, dark and deep track with great sax snippets and warm synth pads.
'Jazzy Bonus' comes along with an edgy beat and will drive you crazy with dope jazz piano loops. Booom!
'U Jus Dance' grabs you and takes you to the deep underground where extreme swing beats, deep kicks and dry snares meet ingenious vocal samples.

Retrospect vol. 4 - Reshaping the 70s, 80s, & 90s with the sounds of now.

Over the last 10 years Token Records has grown steadily, both in size and stylistic breadth. The aptly-titled Momentum comes as a celebration of the close-knit family of artists amassed throughout the label's running. The record is a fitting collaborative project, with every track on the album produced by two longstanding and well-respected artists from the label's roster and especially commissioned for the release. This type of collaboration is intended to showcase the specific sound of the label, developed through 10 years of careful curation, as well as bringing out the individual identities of the artists involved. On the development of the label's sound, Token founder Kr!z comments, "Inigo delivered quite the statement with the first release Identify Yourself. I think identity was and still is key in the development of the label and the artists."Inigo Kennedy's involvement in Token has been profoundly influential and spans its very existence; with three collaborative tracks on the record, it's easy to hear his trademark cinematic sound throughout. One such offering, Amalgam, is co-produced by Kr!z himself, which is a first step for the label head into releasing his own music after years of taking the back seat, focusing instead on DJing while keeping the label ticking over and the releases coming out.

Token's identity has been clarified through its curation over the years as each new artist has joined the label family. Ø Phase has been a staple since 2007, providing cerebral sustenance for the most discerning of listeners. To date, he has produced two successful albums and a string of notable EPs for Token, Binary Opposition being perhaps the best-known; a pulsating, mesmerising project on both sides that played a serious role in pushing the label to a larger audience. Rødhåd's trademark composure was a similarly early addition, and although his Spomeniks release was a step aside from his own ongoing Dystopian project, he has remained an important member of the Token collective.

Ctrls was a Token affiliate from early in his career, and has to date provided nine solo EPs. His class of jarring, inorganic techno adds an atypical feel to the label's output, while Antigone's 2015 double EP Cantor Dust paved the way for another strong artist/label relationship. This bond has resulted series of adventurous releases over past two years, with the most recent Ostinato EP esteemed as a tasteful antidote to the techno status quo.

DJOKO and Den Haas carry a groove with their very own signature out into the world of the heartfelt dancefloors. The new generation of house music is here, with fresh deep minimal trax from the vault.

Cuartero Concept is moving forward firmly with its third reference signed by label boss himself plus the Argentinian beatmaker Bodeler. They are the responsible of ‘Lamine’, an ambitious three track EP where limits of groove are in a constant challenge.

Opener ‘Lamine’ shows the capabilities of such a powerful combo offering a slick house production. The female vocal shout drives listener while the sci-fi percussion set a dynamic vibe and a personal touch.

Next up, ‘Comba’ and its danceable bouncing bassline moves your feet since the very first beats of the track. The rattling hats adds an infectious extra rhythm offering a danceable an actual beat that goes extremely well with the early Chicago days house sound.

Following the old-school vibes but now focusing on drums, ‘Macra’ closes brilliantly this work. With a broken beat and a cleverly used background the track has as target every dancefloor. An indistinguishable vocal its added to give an unique touch becoming this track a weapon.

Dominik Eulberg's Mannigfaltig album proved a huge success last year, and now Eulberg has curated a top selection of 10 outstanding artists to rework key tracks from it. The first of two Remix-EPs contains reworks by Mind Against, Nathan Fake, Adana Twins, Shed and 1979.

The Italian duo Mind Against go first after fomenting their own celestial techno sound on Tale Of Us` After Life. Here they remix 'Goldene Acht' into a brain cleansing melodic cut with sparkling synths as the supple techno drums hypnotise below. Long time Border Community innovator Nathan Fake then flips 'Dreizehenspecht' into a swaggering bit of heavy, broken dub with glassy sounds, crunchy hits and bright harmonies unfolding up top. A vigorous trip.

Diynamic family members Adana Twins have a nuanced techno sound that comes to the fore in their 'Neuntöter' remix, as they build crackling tension with a rocking, massive lead synth. It will have the club in raptures as it draws out ever more before eventually the chugging drums pump again. Ostgut Ton’s Shed is dripping with sounds and moods of the past, yet is rightly known as one of the scene's sharpest innovators. He flips 'Zehnpunkt-Marienkäfer' into a track that shimmers with spring-time melodies that float high above the burrowing drums.

The digital package of EP1 sees two additional remixes, leading with the 1979 rework of 'Fünffleck-Widderchen‘. This remix of Hosh’s Fryhide collaborator has pensive and meditative chords drawn out over punchy drums. Additionally there is also a Adana Twins Funk Remix of 'Neuntöter', which is filled with 80s synths and beeps which generate colourful retro-future vibes.

Johannes goes all Piano-Breakbeat-Hands-Up on "Street Pack" alongside more piano action on "Turbo Basmati". On the flip you will find the amazing contemporary-italo-styled Shan Remix of "Wing House" plus Lauer's rework of "Chestnut Poetry". Quick white label action housed in a shiny silver jacket. Just the way we used to do it!

Defined launches a limited vinyl only releases series.

Javi Lopez with his track 'Hanging Around' heads up the release.

Andy Peimbert - an outstanding producer and sound engeneer from Mexico,

a real late night groovy thing. Contrast of velvet bass and clear flair percussions.
Dreamy pads and alluring vocals snips blend perfectly with the chords
and punchy hi-hats that gives the track it's depth and a dense groove.

Felipe Bravo born in Madrid and frequently performing on Ibiza,
debuts on Defined Limited with his production called 'Sucellius'.
Track is kicking in with a rolling bass, which later flows into the flux
of melodic and groovy rhythms that features hypnotizing pads and strings over.

A Spanish producer, Selid represent his track 'New Position' Dark groovy sinuous bassline underpinned with deftly arranged flair-hi-hats, catchy vocals, soaring synth chords, floaty breakdowns - all these elements harmonicly create a unique hypnotic dub vibe.
