Quavius, the deep south vagabond known for his raw and sophisticated dance collages returns to Lustwerk Music with his second EP for the label, Find Ready. While mostly an instrumental affair, Find Ready is an updated glimpse into the producer / rapper's latest repertoire, ranging from the sunny, Baltimore club-influenced house of "Flo Central" to funky Motor City workouts like "Heaven Is In You" and "Find Ready". The EP starts off on a high clip with a nostalgic, forward-driving deep house instrumental, "That Beat." Quavius dons the mic on three of the seven tracks. "The Gist", the EPs cornerstone, sounds something like a Rakim-meets-Sensate Focus. The A and B side are each topped off with downtempo Hip-hop. "Let it Rock" and "Fa Sho" are contemporary updates on cloud rap that bleed atmosphere and confidence while revealing Quavius' knack for tight songwriting and arrangement.

The A side contains 2 heavy bangers, and the B side, 2 slices of amazingly quirky and rocking 'Wonky style' Techno. Man of the moment Joe Farr steps up and serves us a heavy one, Dense, big boned Techno music that manages to morph into Gabba and back out again. This one is causing a stir whenever it's played and fits perfectly with the Don't ethos of extreme idea implementation! Next up Cursor Miner returns to the label with a demented banger that has been road tested extensively during his live sets and comes with a health warning.. Flip the record over for 2 slices of beautifully freeform wonky Techno, the first coming from newcomer - Sane and the second from Don't veteran 'Edit'...

RETZA returns to the LO-FI-45 fold with Eta Carinae / Polar', the first of the label's catalogue to be released on vinyl. A fitting title, as this young talent's star is certainly shining brightly- RETZA is hot off the heels of collaborations with France's YOKOO on KINDISCH & ALL DAY I DREAM.

Eta Carinae / Polar' is a stunning addition to RETZA's solo discography. Showcasing his intrinsic knowledge of and feel for the art of musical composition, RETZA's intricately constructed soundscapes and authentic instrumental cutaways induce a sense of warmth and familiarity.

RETZA's electronic fingers cascade delicately in Eta Carinae' through piano notes, that enter almost immediately and remain, defining this deep house groove. The journey feels incredibly fresh, like a new resolution after intense period of thought.

Polar's' thick bassline slides around its low sub frequency range framing a variety of hand cut sample slices, carefully selected and cured from the finest audio delicatessen in all the land. Merging seamlessly together, they create a movement that's both dark and surprisingly funky at the same time.

Remixes for Eta Carinae' come from none other than Seattle's PEZZNER, whose 90's indie-electronic milieu is stylistically apposite here. The mix is dynamically diverse, presenting each of the charming elements of the original with revised scrutiny, forming a new persona and climate for the piece to thrive. Melbourne's MATT WATERS rounds out the package with distinctive panache in his truly outstanding tech-house cut.

He's become known for his musical diversity and his name is synonymous with quality & finesse. It's an absolute honour to be able to introduce his debut album to you. This project also features War, who again establishes himself as one of the best engineers in the game. Since first collaborating in 2011, Hydro & War have proven to be a formidable team, known for consistently delivering essential releases, including for Utopia. The only other artist featured on the album is Mateba, who joins in for two of the more uplifting tracks. A talented French producer and a long time collaborator of both Hydro & War.

Up next on Ellien Allien's newly launched UFO Inc. is none other than Milton Bradley under his Alien Rain alias. The four tracks on 'The Arrival' pick up on the cosmic aesthetics of Ellen Allien's own 'UFO' EP and combine them with a hefty dose of Berlin-style techno. A true master of the contemporary acid sound, Alien Rain once again proves to be one of the genre's major driving forces.

Limited edition remastered reissue of a classic balearic cosmic track produced by Giorgio Giordano, Giorgio Dolce and Roberto Zanetti (Savage) with the pseudonym of G.A.N.G. , taking inspiration from Mike Oldfield but with a "slow beat" that gives an engaging groove, enriched in the second part by the ethereal vocal interpretation of Stefania Dal Pino. It is a rare "cosmic" pearl, including a dub instrumental version.

MOTHER RECORDINGS launch into 2019 with a dream collaborative release from PAOLO MARTINI and SIMION. Having both released on the imprint previously with solo EPs, as well as a combined back catalogue spanning Repopulate Mars, Emerald City Music and Snatch, the pair come together in fine form blending their rich tech house sounds offering up two slick cuts.

'That Sound' kicks things off with a soulful vocal which glides over a pulsing bass line and rolling tech drums. Flurries of percussive elements add to the infectious groove.

It's with great honour that I can now welcome Colombian Mario Ochoa to the Noir Music family.Been supporting his music for years and we can now finally present his debut release 'Spacewalk' on the label. After some months back and forth and heavy road-testing I feel Mario has created a fantastic 2-tracker to be very proud of. His productions are on point and the heavy basslines on these bangers are gonna leave the crowds ecstatic. I've had nothing but great reactions from testing these tracks and numerous of people asking for track-titles in clubs and on socials. Two years after the success of „Nem Kaldı“, outernational psych-pop sensation Derya Yıldırım & Grup Şimşek deliver their debut album, „Kar Yağar“! Over the course of it’s 12 tracks, the powerful sound of the Bağlama (Turkish lute) and Derya Yıldırım’s stunning vocals, builds and unravels stories together with the guitars, organs, drums, flute and bass.

Kar Yağar (which translates as „Snow Falls“) has the dynamics of an epic journey through the Anatolian highlands; where deep-rooted folk effortlessly switches to sparkly improvisation or dancy pop tracks. The album was self produced at their studio in the French Alps, and the band's tour de force resides in their ability to develop their personal sound and approach whilst keeping their heart tuned to Derya Yıldırım's Anatolian roots. Original songs and instrumentals - all composed and arranged by the band - are scattered throughout the album. Notably „Seni Hala“, a tear-drawing ballad with stripped-down acoustic arrangement and haunting choir… And Graham Mushnik’s dreamy instrumental „Çocuklar“, in which the band chose to feature a poem by one of Turkey's most renowned 20th century poet Nâzım Hikmet Ran whose title translates as „give the world to our children“. The poem is meaningfully read by Derya’s father Mustafa Yıldırım.

The LP also contains a string of Turkish folk songs, that the band entirely re-arranged whilst preserving their original spirit and soul. In „Ey Şahin Bakışlım“ Grup Şimşek pay tribute to the Alevi culture, a minority community in Turkey for which music - and particularly the Bağlama instrument - has a sacred value. A powerful and majestic version of Mahzuni Şerif’s „Dom Dom Kurşunu“ - one of Grup Şimşek fans’ favourites at live shows - is also featured.

Seeking new and unforgetable ways to express ourselves is the main serving of this course.
First dish and last of this EP - Giash serves the 6th platter of the Why So Series menu, spiced and salted with all the right ingredients for each and every table.
Starting of with the A1 entree, "Meie", which is riddled with Detroit heavy influences ranging from the omnipresent pads and morning dew details, sparkling with clear headed details and drum tracks which morph into a more stripped down structure which rests underneath the bedrock of the whole landscape.
Beyond that we have the intermezzo B1 "Sailere", a more clairvoyant excursion into the more harmonious aspects of minimalistic perfection, keeping true to the artists intentions and executing with precise accuracy the melodic afterthoughts of the ephemeral.
At the very end we're left with B2, "Eeder", the more introspective and "grow to love me" side of the dish. A melancholic and heavy set relief of the persona which is Giash, a Hungarian fellow which is new but at the same time so familiar to our cause, a true believer and relatable idiom which we all can identify with.

Memories Fade is the first track on the record. A track with a catchy vocal hook and a filtered chord. On the flip side you find Tiger Chords. Proper beats with a modular synth line. We hope that you are as much excited as we are about his new record!

Late August will see B.SOUL Music Limited release the various artists package 'Thanks 4
Nothin'', a four-track vinyl only release from the Tuscan imprint.
Marcos Baiano's B.SOUL imprint was launched in 2013 and across its back catalogue has
welcomed an array of classic and contemporary talents onto its roster from House legend Jovonn
through to Music For Freaks co-founder Justin Harris and Parisian producer Terence :Terry. Here
we see the label push on with its second vinyl release set to be released via its Ltd offshoot and
offered up as a various artist four track package.
Bosconi Soundsystem artist Rufus takes the lead on the release with 'Realize Dis' with classic
house tropes, employing a bumpy swinging rhythm as the foundation whilst murky pad swells and
spoken word vocals ebb and flow throughout the composition. Label-head Marcos Baiano follows
with 'Nullll', stripping things back to shuffled hats and wandering rave stabs before the latter stages
introduce a warm ethereal pad.
Opening up the flip side is Retro Activity aka Ivan Iacobucci's 'Rocket' edging things into Techno
territory with weighty drums, mind bending synth flutters and an ever-unfolding, billowing
atmosphere. DRMC's 'Do Not Disturb' then closes the package on a minimal tip with modulating
percussion, minute organic drum shots and airy pad lines laid out over its seven and a half
minutes.

His sound is a trademark. No other techno artist manages to combine influences from various genres such as hip hop, dubstep, or ragga in such an inspiring way as the Edinburgh-based 'hardware master' Mr. Neil Landstrumm. And here he comes with 2 new stunning tracks on Snork #85.
Again, 'Take It Up' and 'The Place' are a striking interaction of a multitude of different acoustic elements, full of intoxicating new sound patterns assembled by Neil's very distinctive signature style - dynamic, rough and thrilling. It's clearly nothing less than four forceful techno anthems infused by influences from dubstep and grime, which make you rock steady all night long.

Classic, idiosyncratic Workshop style House: uplifting groovers blended w/ chilled drifters.
