Over a decade after the first Maetrik release on Immigrant Records back in 2000, it's safe to say that Eric Estornel aka Maceo Plex has the industry at his feet. A powerful force in electronic music with a deeply distinctive sound, Eric's mega following is in the grip of his devastatingly addictive and beautifully engineered dancefloor assaults. A first for Ellum Audio, Maetrik's 'Unleash The Beast EP' may well take this remarkable artist to even headier heights.

Emile Facey lives in Penge, South East London. 'When writing this music I became very interested in the history of the area I live in, imagining what it had been like when the ancient Great North Wood was still standing and the now busy urban area was a tiny hamlet sitting at the edge of a vast forest. I read that Penge was first recorded under the name Penceat in an Anglo-Saxon deed dating from 957 and that many historians believe the name of the town is derived from the Celtic word Penceat, which means "edge of wood". The Porcupine Meadow and a toll gate were important landmarks in the area.'
First inspired by Kraftwerk and the Street Sounds hip-hop compilations in the early 1980s Emile was hooked on electro from an early age. In 1998 he started promoting electro events in London and connecting with other producers and DJs from the UK and abroad. This led to him building his first bedroom studio and, after a few years of learning, honing and recording, Emile's Plant43 project saw it's first vinyl release in 2006 on the much-missed Ai Records. Since then he's released nearly 100 tracks on many highly respected labels including Frustrated Funk, CPU, Semantica, Shipwrec, AC Records, Bleep43 Recordings, Cultivated Electronics and Trust.
He is also a graphic designer, illustrator and co-founder of bleep43 com, which is dedicated to celebrating electronic music. Since 2002, Emile has played live alongside DJ Stingray, ERP/Convextion, Surgeon, DJ Overdose, Urban Tribe and many others.

Listening back to Roman Poncet's first releases on Figure just a couple years ago, they already hinted at the producer's keen technical abilities and a knack for rich texturing, resulting in tracks that were
both carried by force and form. What he delivers now is an impressively mature debut album, ripe with personal creative realization.
On Gypsophila the French producer uses the extended format to slowly shape up a scenery of epic proportions where surprise and constant change lurk around every corner. A certain sense of
progression and evolution runs throughout Poncet's music; it invariably keeps one locked in, no matter for the opening drones of Do Not or the patiently growing Thick Vegetation, which fuses tribal
percussion and choral chants to showcase another of this LP's key features: its dense soundscape, which at once feels inherently electronic yet deeply organic, translating the abstract futuristic themes
of techno into something jam-packed and heady albeit steadily grounded - a listening experience that is as dreamy as it remains tangible.
This holds true for the highly atmospheric synth-lead pieces, such as the cinematic intro Hello You, the elevating arp-ride Epreuve or the suspended celestial groove of Atlas. But equally goes for the floorfocused
rhythms, like relentless steam engine-workout Piege or mid-album mind-trip In Aeternam. Adding even more variety and depth to the mix, the tidal title track is given its own side to explore the
sheer endless expanses of dub...
Bundling the complete range of his influences, Gypsophila marks the pinnacle of Roman Poncet's work to date. Covering a spectrum this broad in his very own way, the album proves as relevant for the
current club scene as it will be for repeated return visits.
After 3 EPs on Don Williams a.r.t.less imprint munichs TRAP10 start their own label and the debut is a versatile dancefloor EP through and through. While unmistakably influenced by classic 1990ies era techno, the detroit schooled tunes resemble the duos flexibility - be ready for interesting yet effective dj cuts to add to your record collection. A1 'Flight 781 - straight rhythm action with dark chords and a mesmerising bassy melody. B1 'Shakem' - rumbling electro drums and broken beats complemented by a grimy vocal.
Having rounded out our first year with 'Amene' being selected by Pete Tong as one of his Tracks of the Year, Superfriends look to kickstart 2018 with a fresh remixed version of andhim's 'Huso EP'.
Friends and favourites have been chosen by the label bosses to lend their touch to the original tracks, each turning out fresh and exciting new versions of Huso and Amene.
First up and reworking the synth-laden eastern vibes of the title track are Italian duo Armonica and exciting Berlin based collective Bakery. Both deliver contrasting yet equally emotive offerings.
Staying true to the percussive flavour of the original, Sum Over Histories bosses Frankey & Sandrino gently guide Amene on a elegantly deeper path, while Tel Aviv's Autarkic maintains his stellar run of future-facing productions by turning the track on its head via some stirring dancefloor surgery.

After 4 years of radio silence, Prototypes is proud to announce its first vinyl release.
Wavefunction Collapse' by Coefficient was first released back in 2011 and it's among Prototypes' best-selling tunes. The track is an atmospheric journey into outer space characterized by Coefficient's wisely engineered FM synthesis and electronic drone acoustics. We decided to release it again, this time backed by a stomping, groovy and filthy remix signed by label owner P.God.
On side B, Ben Gibson makes his first appearance on Prototypes and brings us in a dark underground tunnel with Frontier', an ultra-gloomy tune inclusive of Ben's distinctive steely, sharp percussions and creepy pads.
Finally, Hoag's Object' by P.God combines dark Detroit-like melodic chord loops with hypnotic space bleeps, and plugs them on a grave and dense underlying beat structure.

Kyle Geiger will release his first single on Blank Code this winter, a pulsating techno stomper entitled 'Slingshot Orbit,' that comes paired with a minimalistic stripped-down edit of the track as well as a remix by LA's Audio Injection.
In the original mix, Geiger begins with a focused sonic foundation that incorporates the massive reverberating kick and synthetic murmurs have that become the signature of Blank Code's releases since the label's beginning. As the track builds throughout its six-minute run, torrents of metallic percussion and
waves of textured noise rush through the track, building it into a peak-hour techno selection that will resonate with the contemporary lover of harder electronic music. In Geiger's "Stripped Edit" of the track, the percussion is distilled down to its core elements, providing ample space for this track to be mixed and layered as a key element of a high-energy performance.
Audio Injection incorporates the distinctive groove synonymous with LA's raw techno sound to transform the track from a forceful stormer into a dynamic and mood-setting sonic exploration. Throughout the remix, the subtle elements of the original track are brought to the forefront, revealing their unique textures and careful
sound design. All three versions of Slingshot Orbit will appear on both the vinyl and digital editions of the release, due out on Blank Code in December 2016.

Lake Haze returns to One Eyed Jacks for the definitive launch of his "Aranhas" series - a run of releases themed around a fascination with spiders and gut-wrenching, rave-crushing dance music. Tracks such as "Rush Hour" (a sort of proto-aranha) and "Aranha Negra" are now available for the 1st time on vinyl, paired with the highly anticipated OEJ anthems "Aranha de Prata" and "Aranha Vermelha" - standout tracks in the sets of Photonz and Violet in recent months. It's not all about brute force here though; on top of his trademark slowed down gabba kick drums, Lake Haze lays some of the most emotional melodic lines you'll hear in a rave anytime soon, bringing true Lisbon melancholy to the fore in a truly unique way. Grab 'em while you can.

Lerosa's 25th solo EP will be released on German label eudemonia. Known for his deep-house sound, the Dublin based Italian producer showcases a different palette for this release. The four tracks gravitate somewhere between Electro, Italo, Synthwave and imaginary film themes. "Glider", a fast electro track, opens the EP combining acid drops and dystopian sci-fi elements. "The Minister' is much slower and serves as an emotional homage to those gone too soon. "Plateau Rosa" connects Italo and Detroit delivering a rolling bassline and glassy synth clouds for the delight of the afterhour-dancefloor. And if Lerosa had scored the soundtrack of a Michael Mann film in the 80's, "Theme of Perception" would have been right at home, a fitting end for this EP. The cover is a painting by the Irish artist Sibyl Montague. It was originally exhibited in London at an exhibition called - Totem'.
Southend-on-Sea experimental outfit Liberez deliver the end result of a year and a half long recording process, an amorphous new line up and advanced studies in sound collage.
.
On 'Way Through Vulnerability' new members Reay, Saunders and Ugarteburu channel the projects previous outings on Alter and Night School by conveying the same firm grounding in rhythm, though this time via Flamenco time signatures and eerie, repetitive clapping. At times sounding indebted to the 'tribal ambient' of decades gone by, at times sounding fresh in their approach ('Here is the Proof' is of note) the trio manage to export motifs from Italian avant-garde circles, UK industrial and dare we say post-rock all at the same time. The sound design on 'Derelict Intentions' makes heavy use of background ambience and bleak, world-weary minimalism to lull us into a false sense of calm before harsh and unexpected blurts of noise break the equilibrium. In doing so they swiftly side-step any preconceptions of 'easy listening' and opt instead to drag us deeper down into their own dark waters. At times we almost seem to delve into lost theatre soundtrack territory; fragmented neo-classical elements dance with punchy drum machines ('Cara En La Foto Pt II') and things draw to a close with the end credit worthy swansong of the album's title track. The group repeatedly utilise Basque country language, Hungarian dialect and ancient Russian to lend their compositions a cross-cultural underpinning and eschew any clear geographic origin, a decision which all but adds to the perplexities of their unique brand of electro-acoustic purgatory.

Celebrating the imprint's 10th anniversary, Mike Dehnert returns to his own Fachwerk label with a new full length LP available in 2x12" and digital, following a striking 12" on DJ Koze's Pampa Records at the end of 2016. Across 10 tracks, here Dehnert explores new territory with a restrained and subtle sound while retaining his commanding touch when it comes to creating deep club music. Intro sets the tone of the album, providing an profusion of tidal tones and textures that soak the listener in sound. Before long though, you're listening to the percussive stabs and pensive drums of Between No Words. Here we hear for the first time on the record the subtle but remarkable vocals of Albert Vogt, who returns throughout the LP. Listeners will also be reminded of Dehnert's skill for crafting complex and emotional music with very few elements, which becomes only more evident as this LP opens up. From here Dehnert traverses through dubbed out techno, deep house and downtempo, all with an experimental playfulness and a lightness of touch that only a producer with his talent and raw experience could pull off. The album peaks with the storming Providing Home 2. With swirling, unpredictable arpeggios, hard hitting drums and a sparingly used vocal hook, this is the track that'll ignite ecstasy across dancefloors for years to come. From here, Dehnert quickly cleanses the palette with the beatless Starground, a ringing and pulsing synth piece, pierced by all manner of klangs and bleeps. This perfectly sets up the album's final epic, Laxwax. Another one aimed squarely at the club, but this time it's for darker dancefloors. In stark contrast to its predecessors on the record, this track is insular, hypnotic and raw. Not content to end on such a note, Dehnert provides one last exertion. Outro is bombastic and pounding, with a rave inspired synth line and heavily swung percussion. Topped with cut up and percussive vocals, the track lives up to it's name summing up the LP and adding to it at the same time. This thoughtful record takes elements of modern pop music and extrapolates them with a patience rarely found within the genre itself. Backed by Dehnert's exceptional experience when it comes to producing club music, the result is an album that's simultaneously poppy and experimental, yet fundamentally rooted in techno. It's for that reason that this will surely be such a crossover hit; it has a palette that is broad yet refined, that will undoubtedly reach new ears while appeasing and surprising familiar ones.

Born and raised in the birthplace of House Music, Paul Johnson has released a vast amount of music for some of the most consistently underground dance labels before hooking up with Peacefrog. 12" releases on the likes of Cajual / Relief and Dance Mania led to his debut album release Bump Talkin in 1995. His remix work for Stacy Kidd, Joey Beltram, Green Velvet, Armando, CC Penniston, Ron Trent, K-Alexi, and Steve Poindexter amongst many others have made their way into all the big DJ's boxes, many of which remain there to this day. Paul's breakthrough moment arrived in 1999 with his International hit Get Down which is still heard in clubs and on the radio to this day. Paul Johnsons second Peacefrog album originally released in 1996 is a 90's house music masterpiece. Containing some of the classiest house to hail from the Windy City. Lowwaxx open doors for a very special welcome to the well established UK scene producer Tommy Vicary Jnr, signing label's 3rd release with 2 originals bangers as well as a remix by Fuse London regular Rich NXT.
Opening up matters is the sounds of the title track. A moody effort that's notable for its many haunting tones and a reluctance to follow a straight path, it's the sort of intricate bomb that gets under the listener's skin from the get go. Difficult to pigeonhole but still full of dancefloor panache. An auspicious start to the release with a track that's sure to get you talking.
The B-side then gets underway courtesy of "Best Way". This time, the emphasis is more firmly placed on tidy rhythms and straight up baselines, though this one also demonstrates the producer's knack for the unexpected. A whole peaceful landscape trip decorated with overwhelming chords placed on tidy rhythms and straight up baselines. Culminating the release is the sounds of Rich NXT, who delivers a stunning remix of "Best Way". Indebted to deep tropes and imbued with a catchy-as-hell baseline.

We're still dazed from the 1st volume but Will Long and DJ Sprinkles have already cued up their 2nd session, with Mint / Clay landing on Terre Thaemlitz' Comatonse.
The format and aesthetic remains the same as Vol.1, namely two raw pieces by Will Long, backed with overdubs by Sprinkles, amounting to thee deepest house this side of Larry Heard's nuclear love bunker, all subtly executed and held up as a comparison to the aesthetics and intentions (or, ironically, the excess and lack of) of that sound in relief of current, conceptually-detached takes on the original, queer NYC deep house sound which Sprinkles was instrumental in shaping as a
downtown DJ during that formative era.
Again, Will Long, who's best known for his experimental ambient work as Celer, proves that it ain't what you've got but what you know and can do with it that matters. Under-Currents places
sparing samples of T.R.M. Howard - a mentor of Jesse Jackson and founder of Mississippi's Regional Council of Negro Leadership - amidst a dream sequence of carbonated hi-hats and
lingering chords urged by a plump bass drum, whilst Get In & Stay In nods to civil right activist and current Georgia congressional representative John Lewis in a lush haze of crepuscular chromatics and loping swing.
DJ Sprinkles goes on to contribute another pair of incredible overdubs, lending Long's minimal elements a richer, fleshlier feel, whether with additional breakbeats, or nimbly lowering the bass
and layering up spirited flutes and Rhodes.
Quite crucially, the concept never gets in the way of the music, perfectly demonstrating the symbiotic nature of the music and politics in the way we imagine they intended, especially for the
DJs, dancers and promoters who act as gatekeepers for this music.

100% Pure welcomes Andre Crom for his debut release on the label.
After a recent series of releases exploring the borders between house and techno on his own OFF Recordings, Crom offers his most peaktime and uncompromising tracks to date with this EP
Things start off with the aptly named "Ignition", a piece of straight up peaktime techno. Overdriven 909 beats, an infective synth hook and the name-giving tripped out vocals are sure to quickstart any party.
Second is "Syncopate", a slightly deeper piece with similar ingredients, but executed in a more minimalistic way.
2000 and One presents a remix in his unmistakable style - an ultra-functional linear arrange revolving around a rolling groove and distorted synth stabs will make this version feel at home of underground clubs and festivals around the globe.

Out with their third EP of 2016, this August Monkey Safari will release 'Boris,' with remixes by Guy Mantzur and Victor Ruiz, showing the world once again that these guys aren't messing around. 'Boris' is the follow up to their successful mega-EP, 'Bernstein,' released in June, with remixes by John Digweed & Nick Muir and UNER. Their next four-track EP shows the brothers' more serious, grownup side, taking new risks with no vocals, utilizing empty spaces and slower buildups. 'Boris' showcases proper club music: dark and sweaty Tech House with a hypnotic twist.
In the first track of the EP, self-titled "Boris," Sven and Lars go even deeper into their trance trajectory bridging on the darker side of Techno. The second track, "Dodge," takes listeners on a mystical journey playing with deep ambient sounds and a drop that makes your heart speed up. Tel Aviv-based producer Guy Mantzur (Kompakt / Bedrock / Diynamic) drops his hypnotic and seductive remix of "Boris," impossible not to get lost in. Additionally, Brazilian producer Victor Ruiz's up-beat and complex remix of "Dodge" is not to be missed. Monkey Safari's dedication to their craft is catching the attention of industry dignitaries and fans alike with their consistent releases and non-stop international touring. MOTHER072
Having been named BEATPORT ´S #2 HOUSE label of 2018!
MOTHER RECORDINGS continue their hugely successful run of form with a stellar collaborative project which sees NHAN SOLO, label head of Mother, join forces with Chicago legend ROBERT OWENS. Owens' back catalogue is nostalgia at its best, with the likes of the late Franky Knuckles' 'Tears' certainly a standout release in the House music history books. Following this release Owens certainly sits well within the Mother family and what is one of the hottest House labels our there today.
'EVERYTHING' is a baseline driven house track set to cause series damage on the dance floor, with the stateside vocal providing a catchy hook throughout its entirety. Reverberating throughout the break down section Owens' vocal sits with ease around the classic Mother sound of infectious hats and driving bass, coming together for an impressive House production.
On the flip comes the Dub Version for when the night gets that bit darker.
Early support from: SETH TROXLER, DANNY HOWARD, RICHY AHMED, DANNY TENAGLIA, ARTBAT, AUDIOJACK, THE MEKANISM, PIRUPA, PAUL C & PAOLA MARTINI and many more.

'Sunshine' will no doubt be leaving the dancefloors steaming, pitting together an array of percussive house beats, funky interludes and energetic vocal howls against their signature drops of thunderous basslines.
'What You Want' is most definitely the cheekier of the two, mixing up a teasing range of funky pads, cheeky guitar riffs and seductive vocal whispers to finally come together and ignite the room through their tasty bassline drops.
JAMIE JONES - sounds cool!
DJ SNEAK - cool stuff
