INCl. REMIXES BY ACID PAULI & NICOLA CRUZ!

Following the massive success of Sireli, Viken Arman returns with a delicate and subtile EP. Aragatz, which means « Ara's throne » in ancient Armenian, is an isolated volcano massif in Armenia. Like this mountain, travelling through time and history, Viken Arman combines ancient cultures with modern deep grooves.
The new EP evolves with the tracks. It starts with « Believe » a very mellow track featuring Feathered Sun singer Jo.Ke and continues with « Zephyr » which almost sounds like a spiritual prayer. « Aragatz » and « Yari » have deeper and darker groove. The release also features two remixes of « Believe ». One from Nicola Cruz, adding a soft touch from the Andes, and the second one from Acid Pauli who brings his futuristic waves to the track.

By popular demand Future Retro brings 4 of the most demanded remastered classics on 12" vinyl. BCee's Glitter Balls still sounds as fresh as it did when it was originally released and this Lenzman & Redeyes remake is a match made in heaven. Random Movement & Mutt round up this EP nicely with remastered versions of their tracks Ain't Going Nowhere and The Motions which both ooze soul.

25 years later, the legend of Drexciya still lives on, and a clear example is this new EP by the young RNXRX. While the title of the second song is directly "DRXCYAN", the first few seconds of each track are enough to show the inspiration in James Stinson and Gerald Donald: pure electro with aquatic sounds, tension and deep distorted voices, a dystopian futuristic narrative to the rhythm of magnetic techno bass. This 12 '' contains 4 original tracks supplemented by a Black Merlin remix (cleaner and deeper) that would not disappoint at all in the sets of Helena Hauff or of the DJ Stingray himself. An impressive covering letter from MUSA, new series of Struments that is going to focus on local talent.

2x12" Clear Vinyl Repress

Opening this essential release is the slow and spaced out groove of 'Replicant V1',with fat synths and dark spacecraft sounds circling you as the drums grow ever bigger. 'Shoulder of Orion' then drops into a rickety groove with soulful pads stretching off to the horizon as rough drums march below. Proving he has real range, 'Motor Rotor' is a deep and driving track that conveys a real sense of motion as it races along an intergalactic highway, and 'Love on Time' picks up the pace yet further with twisted synths roaming free above a motorik kick and icy hi hats. Last of all for the digital release, 'Replicant V2' is a spacey and dramatic techno effort with widescreen pads and gurgling synths making for a turbulent ride.
First vinyl bonus cut 'Hang On' is a forceful seven minutes of eerie and cosmic techno that stretches out in all directions as manic melodies rain down from above.
Lastly, 'Traktion' is full of ominous drones, crashing percussion and sombre pads and makes for a dramatic and driving track that is filled with pain.

Mathew Jonson's 'Decompression' was first released on Minus in 2004. To celebrate 13 years since it's release Mathew has commissioned 11 artists to remix this classic split over 4 releases. The first EP of the series features remixes from dBridge, Konrad Black and Nathan Jonson, each artists contribution provides a fresh approach to a package fuelled by the influence of Drum & Bass. dBridge steps up for two remixes, the first is warped and deconstructed, the second a high energy Drum & Bass belter. Konrad Black slows things down with a darker groove whilst Nathan Jonson's 'rewind to 96' utilises rave tropes and chopped vocal samples. The package is a magnificent addition to the legacy of 'Decompression' and coming next will be remixes from Seth Troxler, Deadbeat, Mike Shannon and Natalia Escobar. Mathew Jonson's 'Decompression' was first released on Minus in 2004. This is the first release on Mathew Jonson's new label entitled 'Freedom Engine' Mastered at Scape Mastering

Soulquencies is a perfect harmony of deconstructed soundsystem music, beautifully rebuilt with ambient textures, hints of grime, steppers while all the time melodious, musical and underpinned with bass weight. It perfectly transcends from clean and heavenly harmonies to bass weight and grit, icy to warm in a masterful way. This is the frst full length album on Scrub a Dub and we couldn't be prouder of this piece of music, which is equally at home on the soundsystem or the home Hi Fi. Aquarius - Soulquencies is the latest project from Chikuma Tsuboi who has fallen under various monikers over the years. A classically trained musician hailing from Tokyo, Chikuma moved to the party city of Glasgow in the early 2000's. There he was fully immersed and became instrumental in the music scene hosting some of the cities earliest dubstep nights bringing artists like Silkie and Goth Trad. He helped take small basement sessions to the larger clubs supporting the likes of Mala at the Art School. He played some of the earliest Outlook festival parties and was a tour engineer for Mungo's Hi Fi before returning to Tokyo to complete his Soulquencies project which has literally been years in the making.

180g 2x12" LP!

The debut album of Deepbass going out on his Informa imprint. Consisting of 8 tracks all in his signature sound but in a more restrained and expressive nature. A sensory journey built of entrancing melodies, fluid motions and a transcending flow which creates a pure hypnotic effect. Moments of electronic tribalism consistently layered with waves of delicate sonics and textures, taking you deep into the abyss creating strong imagery in a near cinematic style.

Second Ep from dutch combo Dilated Pupils on Mode of Expression. A four track journey of different styles.

Looking back at the imprint's catalog one would expect Pluie/Noir's 9th release to be in the same organic tones as previous outputs, but "Pambore" is anything but
predictable: Atree's debut on Pluie/Noir is a homage to drum-machines and analog synthesizers and a welcome breath of fresh air to the imprint's evergrowing music catalog.
With a true 'no bullshit' attitude, the Stuttgarter (soon-to-be-Berliner) Oliver put together 8 dancefloor-oriented tracks that bend the boundaries between micro-house and acid-techno while always keeping things swingy and surprising, full of bleepy sounds and playful synth melodies. Oliver's music is without a doubt very light-hearted, with a endearing aura that is usually reminicent of producers living closer to the Mediterranean sea. Pambore' is a showcase of exactly that: a hefty
but light-hearted double-EP that presents eight variations of his sincopated, and ultimately funky drum programming, bouncy basslines, tumbling synth leads and functional story-telling.
This homage to machine music brings on board the Portuguese graphic wizard Nuno Patrício to visually interpret the EP, keeping with the imprint's usual audio-visual
affair. Limited Pressings.

We like to present to you our second limited release featuring some of Tupiar Records favourite artists: Herck (Romania), Gorbani (Moldova), Maurice Giovannini (Italy), Olvap (Spain). The story of the both sides is tolled by our fellow artists in the most harmonic and carefully crafted music, complete with analog synths, melodic vibes, grumpy textures, deep sounds and groovy base lines. This long awaited masterpiece is topped of by the unique artwork captured by Czech photographer and painter Jan Saudek, expressing some of the most intriguing & uncommon scenes from the last decade in his own unique vision for which we are most grateful and happy it fits right on with the design concept edited by M.Dafinoiu, giving it the finishing touch with a transparent vinyl material.

For the fifth outing Worx label The Mekanism believed in II faces, two emerging Dj's from the Parisian scene. They wanted to propose two tracks really influenced by the underground house scène with groovy bassline and sexy samples. Followed by two massive remixes of Luca casal and Neverdogs.

Reversion (noun): the final, often mind-melting, product of a deft studio act in which an original recording's elements are rephrased in a unique new way.

You know this. We know this. Monaberry knows this. They proved it last month with Super Flu's agenda-setting 'Re:Dings' EP and they've done it again with this stunning reconstruction collection of andhim's 2015 Monaberry smash 'Rollercoaster'.

The evidence is clear from the off as 'Mr Bass' gets knighted to Sir Bass with two beautifully contrasting remixes. First up is groove-chowing Leeds lothario wAFF who fires up the energy to hip-shaking tech-level and gradually re-introduces the original's cosmic elements as the groove charges into the vanishing point. La Fleur, meanwhile, adds a much more ominous fog-horn style bass texture that groans moodily before the majestic melody cuts through a Garnier-level arrangement twist. Stunning.

'Cloys' also enjoys two superb reworks: Re.You provides a touching twist by paying close attention and respect to the original's swampy, underwater harmony with additional percussion, a richer weight and a more restrained sense of emotion. Ever one for contrast, Eagles & Butterflies flips the original into a brighter narrative direction with a timeless undulating groove and dizzying cannon of humanised textures. A true yin yang reversion scenario; one for opening, one for elevating.

It's down to Zurich's Animal Trainer to sign off this beautiful reversion experience with a bulbously rotund bass-licked take on 'Rollercoaster'. Upping the tempo and stripped back the layers, the duo create more space for the woozy vocal soul snippets and a whole new melodic layer.

Mind-melting, deft and rephrased with innovative articulation, andhim's originals have been paid the utmost respect from five of this decade's most exciting new house talents. Monaberry knows this, we know this... Now you do too.

* Rockwell's 'User' EP is a perfect example of a genre striding artist in their prime.
'Easy' is a combination uppercut of two generational disruptors. Not the most obvious of partnerships, they connect to pop off some shots at anyone sleeping.
'09 Track' is another nod to the roots of our scene and offers a sample blessed banger.
Rockwell's no stranger to coaxing the best out of vocalists and 'Inventor' utilises an absolutely killer instrumental and Flowdan's heavyweight character on the track.
'User' is a ballad fit for 2018 and with extensive support from the likes of Zane Lowe, Rene La Vice, Mistajam, Annie Mac, UKF, Mixmag and many more, Rockwell continues with his take on modern day drum & bass.

The Berlin based imprint RoundQube Musik gets its 10th release. To celebrate this goal the label's guys have brought together the whole RQM Familien' dropping an eight track double vinyl: besides the usual suspects like Francesco Passantino, Gabriele Carasco, Luca Torre and Sonartek, die Familien' grows with new friends such as the well known Frankfuter producer Matt Star, Jakob Seidensticker (an element of Wareika) in cooperation with Boronas, the Japanese talent Kaitaro, Enzo Pietropaolo and the co-owner of the label I-Max with Blesgroove.

As we check off another year for Steyoyoke Recordings, we would like to thank you for joining us on this wonderful journey and appreciate your continued support. To mark our 6th Anniversary, we invited some of the best producers to create remixes of our favourite Steyoyoke tracks of 2017. The release will feature remixes from Hernan Cattaneo, Audio Junkies, Martin Roth, Simon Doty, Nairo and Township Rebellion. The anniversary vinyl will be showcased and sold at our 6th Anniversary Party at Ritter Butzke in Berlin.

Opening the release is Hernan Cattaneo and Audio Junkies' take on BLANCAh's Talus'. The result is pure energy with playful rhythm, soothed by melodic synths. Reinventing Soul Button's Paramour' is Martin Roth, who certainly adds a bit of forthright edge and deeper undertones to the original mix. Next up is Simon Doty and Nairo's version of Nick Devon's Overflow', which unleashes vivid elements scattered across heavy bass lines. The fourth and last track in this release is Clawz SG and Nick Devon's Syndicate' remixed by Township Rebellion. Saturated with explosive attitude, this remix surely won't let one stand still!

Be sure to enjoy this newest release and hope to see you at Ritter Butzke on March 16th!

Following the surprise release of his Slow Fade EP last month, Daniel Avery presents a collection of remixes from Surgeon, Actress and Inga Mauer. The remix EP will be released digitally and on 12' vinyl on March 9th.

Widely regarded as one of UK electronic music's leading lights and arguably the finest techno DJ in the world' (FACT), with a career spanning over 20 years, Surgeon lends his clinical touch to 'Radius', adding an erratic, propulsive beat to Avery's warm synth layers for one of his best remixes yet.

Werkdiscs head Actress meanwhile delivers a pared back and introspective rework of 'Slow Fade', shrouding the synth refrain in hypnotic, distorted production, in his first remix following the release of his critically acclaimed 2017 album AZD.

Bunker Records' Inga Mauer completes the package, offering a claustrophobic mix pierced with metallic shards that confirms what Resident Advisor said of the uncompromising Russian-born Amsterdam-based DJ and producer last year: Mauer is destined for big things.'

The first catalogue number from the house of Formatik comes from Format:B
