KOLDE is a side project from a wellknown artist who wants to push anonymous, a new techno experience without limit, this release is a proposal of 3 underground techno weapons and a remix from Ben Gibson...

The third chapter in the vinyl installments on Gaze ill's Danish Cue Line Records is written by Belgian artist Zygos, Georgio Roumans. An unforgettable piece formed by 3 distinct original tracks plus an outstanding remix by Italy's most wanted, DPRTNDRP (D- Operation Drop).

The EP opens with the toxic symphony of 'Laicism'. By chest pressuring hits right from the beginning, we're pushed into another world where everything is moving though it feels like time stands still for a moment. Mellow melodies formed in layers of feedback alike sounds and endless reverberated stabs generate a persistent tension held tight by the static, marching drums. The title track 'Sudd' forms part 2 of the journey through Georgio Roumans' explorative universe. To think everything can move this fast yet keeping a minimal expression is beyond reality. From 8th to 16th to 24th notes - variations through the bass, percussion, and melody sections - a discreetly conducted progression is reached throughout the track. Accompanied by weird background soundscapes the sub bass takes the lead on the tight Halfstep- package of 'Tapered'. The drums are simple and hard, which is just what's needed to tame and control the strong movements from the sub. Super minimal for the sound system. Italian DPRTNDRP brings new life to 'Sudd', which awakens in a completely different light than the tempo- filled original. Strange sounds and rhythms, raw and dirty. DPRTNDRP makes the remix a must hear.

The vibe is intense from start to end, and the EP hits perfection due to Georgio's naturally alive style, and the clever remix from the ever boundary pushing DPRTNDRP. Signature sound, deluxe on 180 grams heavyweight vinyl!

Our leader unveils yet another facet of his production arsenal, this time turning a housey cheek, courtesy of sa ensual, yet chopped-to-bits vocal. The jacking rhythm section skips along in pure style, keeping the tight bassline in check while frantic edits help 'I Need You' to fully unfold.

Stefano Noferini nods to the old school in this double outing, and 'Furios' blasts out with a nostalgic bassline and intense beeping action over a crackling rhythm section. The title track goes for more heady territory with a hypnotizing vocal seeping in and out of the cracks, while the trademarked Noferini groove keeps the bubbling subs in check.

The undisputed groove don, DJ PP, graces 1605 with 'Revolver' Amo & Navas beef things up even more with their crunchy rhythm section, and opt for a dubbier vibe with their trademarked stomping groove and spacious, low-end percussive magic.

DJ Fronter leads us into another bouncy ride with the percussion-led 'Cntrl And Next' taking the lead and rolling out into action.

Blazej Malinowski is back on TGP with his first 12' solo release. Includes The Gods Planet Rework of both
original tracks.

The Japanese-inspired Sentaku label pays tribute to its influences by signing Dixia Sirong for its first release. The Asia-based duo cooked up some tasty and hovering minimal house with clear references and sonorities from the Land of the rising sun. Full of funky flavours with some heavy and contagious basslines, 'Araki Murashige' EP communicates Dixia Sirong's distinctive sound to perfection. The four tracks deliver some hypnotic set of beats well-suited to lure the dancefloor into a special astral journey. With this scintillating atmosphere and the multiple layers and textures those tracks make this EP perfect to get the crowd to start moving or for some post-peak deepness!

JTS005 bursts in delivering two timeless productions by Santiago Salazar, both cleverly reinvented by DAHRAXT, a new Mannella's project. The whole EP is the result of inventiveness musically merging and melodies into a wonderful tapestry of sound.

The original version of NBS2-19 is a dreamy driving loop beat, built on a fat kick drum, that becomes raw and biting due to that squeezed synth on DAHRAXT's version.
On the B side, both versions of NBS2-15 have a strong hypnotic drift, although the original mix is a dancefloor killer theme.

Santiago Salazar, in addition to being a member of the legendary Los Hermanos, he released an infinite amount of excellent music on UR, Planet E Communications, on his own ICAN Productions and Historia y Violencia, a co-project with Silent Servant.
Here both artists showed us how to break into the future, with solid roots in the past.

Finally repressed

Reissue of this 20y old timeless classic with new Linkwood remix on the b-side.

Almost two years ago we reissued DJ Boom 'Kinda Kickin' with an extra Efdemin remix on CURLE-P06. Because y'all loved it so much, we decided to reissue some more Matthew Herbert deep house goodies. First up is 'See You On Monday' from the iconic "Part One" EP, 20 years old but still timeless! On remix duties is Linkwood, who released his brilliant "Expressions" album on Firecracker last year. He for one knows how to keep the groove whilst diving deep. Including limited silk screen artwork. First 300 on transparent vinyl.

For the first varvet release we are very proud to see the resurrection of legendary Tube Jerk aka Tim Wright. With his impressive back catalogue on label like Sativae, Tresor, Nova Mute just to name a few he delivers the same intense bassline-techno as always.

Another split is on the way of the Suburban Avenue team.

This is the turn of two young and talented producers coming from the new school, both nostalgic of the Techno of the origins: Birth of Frequency and Mike Storm

A side is entrusted to the refined hands of the French producer, A1 No Wonder' is a brilliant and direct techno track inspired by British school of the nineties. A2 The fugitive' is deeper and hypnotic.

The precious B Side is made by the Dutch producer Mike Storm, both tracks B1 The one we know' and B2 Into Formation' are minimalistic and represent some old school spaced out Techno trips

Retro-Futuristic affairs continue..

Brian is about to open up his - Multiverse' to us and proves again his outstanding skills on his modular gear. This time you will listen to tracks off the regular four to floor DJ-tool. Focusing on melody structures, this EP is right in time to kick off the festival session.

If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.'

It's not often we get to write about a release with a George Bernard Shaw quote. Then again, it's not often benevolent, community-spirited beatcrafters like Cioz come along. Driven and inspired by the idea of sharing knowledge, ideas and inspiration, Cioz has established the Spazio Giovanile di Boccaleone, a community-based creative hub in Bergamo Italy where artists unite, collaborate, develop ideas, inspire and create. Also a hugely promising new artist with releases on labels such as Einmusika and Subjekt, right now he's developing ideas, inspiring and creating with the one and only Monaberry.

In keeping with his previous pieces and his influences such as Bodzin, Holden, Kalkbrenner, Cooper and many more, the whole EP is laced with a restrained yet beautiful theme. 'Arbol' rises and rises with shimmering fluid synths and space aged stream train momentum to the percussion as we're driven to exultant peaks. Lion' strips back even further for a late night trip into dense cosmic fog while Good News' draws us back in soulfully with an immaculate feel good hip-slinker that oozes dreamy sentiment yet does so in a really captivating clipped and restrained and subtly detailed way.

Cioz's ultimately positive and evocative label debut concludes on a remarkable remix from Tim Engelhardt. Adding an insatiable afro swing that's reminiscent of DJ Gregory or MAW 15-20 years ago, there's an infectious physical pull on the rhythm that refuses to let you go and complements the spirit and tone of this awesome package.

Watch out for more of Cioz's creative crusades on Monaberry later this year!

This is the first vinyl release for Genau Recordings, a brand new independent techno label born in Torino (Italy) from the unfamous Genau party series. Four pure techno tracks signed under the collective artist name GENAU that put together the experiences of two local artists as Gandalf and Kessa and the already well known (production wise) duo Noizyknobs (also active with their new project Exilles).

This EP is the result of one year of intense work from these four artists and it's the perfect synthesis of their ways to see techno music. The EP opens with "Pac-Man", a dancefloor killer featuring a strong acid bassline and a paranoid modular synth on it. "Genesi" is the deepest of all tracks, and it's one of the first productions ever recorded by the Genau team. Side B features "Pressing Plant", another dancefloor oriented techno track with a solid drums section and a driving bassline, while "Don't Speak" is a minimalistic bass orented dark tunnel.

Los Angeles based Natan H and Malta based artist Owen Jay return as Gauss with their first EP of 2017. Entitled Resonator it offers more deep music with an electronic soul and is their fifth EP for their cultured label Gauss Ltd. The title track opens things up with a crunchy and impactful mix of weighty dub drums and spangled techno chords. It's a heavy track that builds in momentum and is sure to mangle minds with its skewed stabs and wiry electronics. Shifted is a more fierce techno track with urgency in the kicks and a sense of anger in the coarse little snare explosions. More gurgling synths add weight and this one is a real stomper as a result. Cutting ever more loose, Odyssey is a mix of IDM sound design, soulful synth smears and percolating electro tinged drums that are slick and futuristic. Least Squares completes this techno picture with spitting hits and claps, underwater chords and acidic sonar pulses that soothe the mind. This is an expansive EP that marks an exciting evolution in Gauss's sound.

With Hidden Shapes Ixel presents his debut Album on Wall Music. Eleven massive dancefloor oriented driving techno tracks that appear functionally especially uncompromising but multifaceted. * First release from the Berlin based Jazz-O-Tech Records.

* Since its early days Jazz music has always been experimentatal, trying to contaminate, and integrate different cultures, styles and musical philosophies. Along the years, jazz movement expanded and diversified in many different genres and styles. Electronic music has also always been exprimental and the avant-garde of electronic musicians explored new technologies and new styles of music. Today the two musical frontieers meet and the contamination between jazz and electronic music will enrich both musical languages, changing the grooves but keeping the same depth and spirit of the two genres.
* Jazz-o-Tech is born in order to merge tradition with modernity, improvisation and experimentation, and to create a new style: Techno-Jazz. Finally the elegant arrangements and intricated solos of jazz can develop along the modern structures of Techno and Electronica, taking the listeners on an emotional, hypnotic and intense journey, making us think that future is not that far away.* For its debut release the new label, based between Berlin and Milan, is presenting the new representatives of Techno-Jazz. In this 12' vinyl all the artists represent the new concept that Jazz-o-Tech wants to promote. The argentinian sound designer and experimental musician Paine' is presenting a strong but elegant track full of jazz quotes and pulsing with swing. The DN3 trio (DJ and producer Guido Nemola, trumpet player Cesare Dell'Anna and pianist Mauro Tre) in their track "Lee Theme" mixes elegantly original jazz improvisation and a house inspired rythmic section. Berlin based duo Flat Maze (producer Stefano Mori and pianist Uri Gincel) play with techno grooves and with experimental raw and meditative sounds, but they still leave enough room for silence and emotions. Gamapawa are our final act, probably the most Jazz of all, definitely very much focused on experimenting new forms of contamination of Jazz and Electronica. In "Nobossa" DJ and electronic producer Paine Cuadrelli, trumpet player Mario Mariotti, japanese synth player Gak Sato and bass player Walter Prati (with guest appearance by saxophonist Gianni Mimmo) are providing the finest example of a cross over electronic experimental act which leaves the listeners with plenty of musical references and inspiring moments.

Berlin based Voight is a new vinyl and digital project from a well known and respected source.

Focusing on a puristic Techno sound, the label has already seen contributions from artists such as Oliver Deutschmann, Flug, GoldFFinch, Albert van Abbe and others.

ALPI are an Italian production duo that arrive on Voight following excellent releases for Arnaud Le Texier's Children of Tomorrow and the legendary Dutch imprint Planet Rhythm. Having shared the DJ booth with artists such as Markus Suckut and Kobosil, they are one to keep a close eye on.

Wrong Assessment is also an Italian based artist who comes with a fine pedigree having released music on labels like Invite's Choice, Cleric's Clergy, EarToGround and most recently Bas Mooy's Mord.

The tracks have an instant ingrained class, focusing on a mixture of tough broken rhythms, dubby sounds, ethereal textures and poignant harmonics.

To complete the package "MC&Hammer" Brooklyn based with collaboration of Max L is the second track, also deep and intense with pulsating synth bass, more of those soul vocals, a killer house beat and great key arrangements to wrap it up. Two amazing weapons that will make every disco ball spin with pride and joy.

Welcome the bavarian producer head Alex Bau with his first single 12" on Cocoon Recordings. After he set his heavy warehouse techno track "The Whip" on this years Cocoon Compilation "P", we are happy to present you two of the strongest industrial Techno tracks ever released on Cocoon Recordings in the past years. We would say this is a double A-side release, which first track is called "Illuse". Crispy drums and percussions, mixed with his punchy low end and some industrial sounds cooked by Alex Bau, create the melt down moments on the dancefloors in full effect. On "Etah" we get deep compressed drum programming push us forward to the middle of the club and ends up in a hypnotic synthesizer sequence which goes directly into the mind. This is the high energy what he brought to the point one more time. We remember all the crazy freakout moments we had with his strong "On Synth" track in 2015.
