Möd3rn is a global project from 3 wellknown artists who wanted to give a side project from their own solo career. It's a band, producing, playing live but it's also a label created only for the trio productions. Each releases will propose 3 tracks from the 3 artists. For that third one the famous trio propose 3 huge techno bombs Mö7, Mö8 and Mö9, 3 huge techno killer using rough skins with raw edit. Speech less and listen to that we can call Pure TEchno.
While carefully handling their respective careers, postponing then their obvious collaboration, Möd3rn trio's members have capitalized its desire and now deliver its mere substance, in the rightest moment, where, simply, all the distant forces converge.
The six daring, expert hands merge now into a unique entity, unanimously moving within the same effort towards techno music. Of the distinct identities merely remains the ethereal, synthetic essence devoted to the group, and the common musical passion that leads it. The formula is elaborated freely: each one's adjunctions -subtle keys, nervous chords, underground blows, rhythmical uproars- pour into a thick maelstrom, opaque, condensing Detroit's grieving sensibilities as well as last decade's bewildering cacophonies. The potion obtained is irresistible, an ecstatic hybrid, prodigiously actual, that renders all the genre's diversity and dynamism.
Chance intertwined their paths and now the three companions celebrate both the friendship that resulted and the good fortune that has driven it, by improvising live together as one faceless, solid body agitated by the urge of dance and music, composing the material that shall be processed later on to form their eponym label's releases.

Renowned house and techno producer Mr. G joins the No Idea's Original roster with four typically powerful house cuts this January. Hot on the heels of his fifth album, not to mention a year releasing on Bass Culture, Relative, Warm Sounds, Midnight Shift and Defected - Colin McBean is a producer that needs little introduction. Leading the way, 'Can't Stop' sees Mr. G merge an infectious vocal with rumbling bass, raw drums and a murky oscillating synth before '4am NYC Download (TS Version)' introduces a subtle melody as a cacophony of hats join a distorted soulful vox. Crunchy percussion and a moody hook then form 'Make Me Mad' before concluding the package with a twisted reimagining titled 'Make Me Dub!'

Product comes with Deluxe hot foil stamping print in a Gatefold Cover! Electrica Salsa - Revisited 30 years later - remixes by Roman Flügel and Henrik Schwarz France, Italy, Austria, Germany - quite precisely thirty years ago, one electronic track turned the European music charts upside down: Electrica Salsa' by the Frankfurt project OFF - a collective producing their tracks at Master Music Studio. The founders of Organisation For Fun' were no underdogs: Michael Münzing and Luca Anzilotti would go on as duo SNAP! And write global hits like The Power' or Rhythm Is A Dancer", writing pop history. And the third member of OFF was then 21-year-old Sven Väth, today one the most notorious international DJs. Michael and Luca were the masters of equipment, responsible for the mixing desk and the recording tape we used to make the master tapes. I was the one providing song ideas, grooves and bringing a good mood to the studio.

Aus Music bring a summer of firsts to a close as they follow up records from the newly collared Recloose, Trevino and Paul Woolford with another new addition to the team: Tom Trago. The Rush Hour regular joins the ranks with 'Being Broke' - a bright and groovy four-track aimed straight at the dance floor of this season's closing festivals. The A side offers up an original and dub version of the title track - a bumping House groove built with playful vocal samples and nifty synth lines. On the flip are two version of 'Good Lies' - the first rolling out over its elongated duration with sharp, galloping hats and free-flowing Rhodes notes. Tension begins to develop as the track steadily snowballs gathering vocal snips and a menacing bass line while the 'Good Christian Edit' offers up a lighter, more early-doors affair bringing a nicely rounded package to a close.

The second Eliptic vinyl is coming from GIAS, fresh collaboration between Julian and Andrei Stoian, Bucharest based producers. This 3-track release perfectly combines various feelings and it takes you through happiness, melancholy and joy.
A-side Un Anume' focuses the action around the occasional spoken vocals helping things roll along, groovy and perfect for the main part of the night. On B-side Pedant' is a little darker and melancholic, but maintains the obsession with rough-but-groovy rhythms and mind-bothering bass vibrations.
Stop Cadru' is the track that puts you in action through each element, waterish sound, sustained by subtle hats and voices and a powerful bass line.
Cadre' is pressed in 200 copies, 180g, Vinyl Only.

Early supported by Rhadoo.

We love and release on Vinyl !

Connected Vol.2 is fully dedicated to Italian techno. As there are many producers from Italy, we picked 2 artists to who we feel particularly connected to their music - Sisko Electrofanatik and Mr. Bizz.

Sisko Electrofanatik is known for several releases on Yoshitoshi, Bush, Monique, BluFin,Armada Music and of course his own imprint Gain Records. Here we go now with Blind which is a heavy techno booster, predestined for the prime time. His second track Cosmo rolls through the floors and gets displayed better in the way of an anthem.

Two more excellently produced techno pieces come from Cagliari boys Mr Bizz, who were pushed after their debut releases 2013 on Dubfire's label Sci+Tec and Monika Kruse's Terminal M. Dark Shadow is a well sorted Techhouse into Techno track and includes their typical dark voice snaps. Proper functional techno with a buzzing sub, surrounded by halled elements and spheres, is the matter of Workplace . Connect your mind and feel the vibe!

Bomb-O-Matic Crew from Antwerpen celebrates 10 years with this Releases in limited different Color Edition !!!

We are moving forward with new sounds this summer, and are happy to shed some light on our '4Plae Blanc' project. This series is geared towards slightly lighter vibes, and 001 will really set the tone for what is to come.

Hailing from the city of Bucharest, Nice ' N Trick have been earning their stripes over the past couple of years, which includes having works on labels such as Mulen, Heisenberg, Arupa, Baile Musik, Tzinah and many more. Their track 'Adiacent' delivers the vibrant sounds we love, brought together with tight percussion and warm soundscapes.

Another gem from Bucharest has contributed to 4PLVB001. Direkt has become a good friend of the label and we are extremely happy and proud to have him on board this release. 'Caries' is a bouncy and atmospheric track that delivers a solid analog sound - another factor we feel passionate about. No doubt this wont be the last you hear from Direkt in coming months...

Percival is also an analog head. This Detroit artist has bundles of musical knowledge and a love for many types of music. His track 'All Night' is a vocal orientated track with crisp hats and snares, and a pounding kick throughout - we love the mood this track set's at parties.

In the past few months, 4Plae founder ADMNTi and head honcho at Samani - F.eht, have formed a collective, FAT. Their remix of Percival's track sets a moodier vibe in comparison to the original, and wraps up the release nicely with evolving synths and techier sounds.

Vinyl only. 180g. Flug003 Various release from Roar, Adam Touch & Marino, Sumau and Oscar Saliba, techno notes for dancefloor and single listening.

As a full-analog studio crack he has produced 5 Albums and more than 50 Eps with his very own interpretation of techno. His music still has a 90's ghetto vibe, with as much energy as a punk band, but to make it clear to everyone, it's techno music to its essence. He has just finished new Remixes for Chicago Legends Robert Armani and DJ Deeon, as well as for Matthew Herbert.

Drew Sky and Lester Fitzpatrick, two techno soldiers from Chicago with multiple releases on the legendary Dance Mania and Relief Records, respectively team up for their magik killer EP on Dizzy Tunes. Dare to differ, the heat will push you back. Remixes by Roman Zawodny and DJ Krime!

Owen Offset's - Inhale strikes for AA012 with a massive remix bundle. After the thriving - Platen EP , the Maltese DJ &, producer will get back to what he can do at his best - breathtaking techno. So the original is an exciting masterpiece, driven on a low-beasty rotating bassline. A looming and menacing synth enters the track, followed by a female moan full of relish - or is it just an inhale Decide yourself.

Remix round one is from none other than Sven Wittekind. The boy from the Abstract family adds some rawness and pounds straighter through the speaker and scores with a filtered acidic bassline. Like a mighty techno trip.

Boss-time for remix number two: Dominik Vaillant takes a wild ride and opens the synth for a turbulent and expanded flight. Don't stop inhaling.

The topping of the remix bound comes from techno legend Joey Beltram. He stirs his experiences into this interpretation and the result is a highly elaborated piece of powerful techno with a touch of retro-sounding elements, but contemporarily fresh!

There's still a magic in this guy's studio and gives the full EP an excellent accolade.

My mind made of darkness, has known continuously interrupted flash taken back by the stronger, following ones.
Iive felt my limbs moving without having control. The other side of me, the most unknown to me, the most instinctive one, took place.
Dissimilar sounds have battered my most secret dreams, without giving them peace anymore.
Never existed soulsis foot steps have obscured my silence, giving me only restlessness.
Eyes open again, suddenly, silence.

On Paranoia, Oliver Huntemann's prowess and versatility as a producer is evident, from the space age minimalism of 'Magnet', through to more melodic, upbeat productions such as 'The End', in which warm sounds resonate through the listener.

Chineurs de House series are made in the continuity of the eponymous Facebook group. The goal is to discover and travel through all the sounds of House Music and its derivatives.
« Cimetière du HiFi » or « HiFi Cemetery » is focused on the LoFi movement, mostly embodied by fresh and young upcoming producers like Raär, Slim Steve and YancityGurl whom we've chosen to trust on this release.

"I don't have any plans, I just make music for fun" said the latest addition to the Hypercolour roster, Christopher Rau, in a recent interview. The Hamburg house don's not wrong, either, with his deep and non-linear sounds leading the way on labels like Smallville and Pampa. Here teaming up with friend Tilman Tausendfreund, the pair turns in one effort each, plus two collaborative tracks on their Pea Gravel EP.

Sigha is back with a new double A-side in the same vein as the last: A booming, atmospheric achievement, showcasing his signature attention to detail and exploring the concepts of purity, faith and religion.

After joining the Token family with the release of Our Father/A Better Way Of Living in 2015, Sigha is back with another double A-side in the same vein as the last: A booming, atmospheric achievement, once again showcasing his signature attention to detail and exploring the concepts of purity, faith and religion.

The resounding intensity of Christ Figures is layered with emotive and staccato melodic elements. At times distant, and then rising to the forefront of the soundscape, in their more muted moments these elements only hint at the form of a melody, their restraint heightening the track's sense of melancholic romanticism.

On the other side, Sigha advances on the themes from the track Puritan on his 2012 album Living with Ghosts. New Puritan offers a similar hypnotism, with an untiring interaction between mid-range and bass that demands transfixion from the offset and retains it until the end.

First pressing on marbled vinyl. Swayzak is a name that needs little introduction, with albums on Studio !K7 and releases on Force Tracks, M¦nus, Tresor and Logistic since the late nineties.

The State of the World E.P. brings you 4 new tracks by Philippe Petit. Appearing develops a positive tone through layers of heavy bass and a deep 808 kick that finally blooms into a warm synth line. Expanding exults happiness thanks to its multiple layered bleepiness, aiming to put the listener in a state of trance. Shrinking is a hard hitting percussive affair, whose relentless beats, driving hi-hats patterns and claps take you into what can be seen as a neverending downward spiral. Disappearing rings the alarm with a 132 bpm fury of pads and subtle acid, but it might already be too late...

Support from Rodhad, Len Faki, Johannes Volk, Boris, Samuli Kemppi, I/Y and many more..

Four new stripped down techno tracks brought to you by Philippe Petit. Road-tested on several dance floors during the last couple of months.

Inspired by the streets of New York in the 1980s when these were rough and rugged, before it all got gentrified... The more East you went, the more dangerous it got - although it was scary at times, I miss that era!

Enjoy the Ride!

Channeling the energy echoing off dancefloors along his path, Reinier Zonneveld has been on a steady slope rolling out dance igniting productions while touring an intricate live set. Megacity Servant, the artist's third studio effort, stands as a coherent 16-piece techno outfit tinged with experimental tones while playfully deconstructing classic acid and disco fragments. Coming from a classical music background, Reinier's style of production ranges from cavernous powertracks to more concise trips subdued with melancholic piano-stemmed soundscapes, rounding up to a signature sound that is evident as it is enveloping.

Techno mainstay vocalist Cari Golden makes a notable appearance on Things We Might Have Said. Having previously teamed up with sonorous names like Pan Pot, Fur Coat & Coyu, Golden's stellar vocals and skillful lyrics shine paired with Zonneveld's production prowess. The production-vox chemistry is instant, as the track mesmerizes from the get go. Seizing attention for the full length of the track, the entire arrangement seduces the listener, making for a clamorous earworm. EHT unveils a heavy-hitting resolution, as the artist layers on hefty polarizing synths. The cut boasts a powerful arrangement that is unsettling and playful at the same time, diving into dark techno realms. Megacity Servant makes use of the classic Roland SH-101's ability to emit a nearly tridimensional sound ray, unfolding newer details with each listen. The relentless melody, padded with grave synth arrays, establishes a melancholic mood, gradually depicting the auditive struggle of its title-named character.

Old School veteran Andrei Morant who's very much now school' making his debut appearance on 4trk here with a stripped down dose of pure, beatin, erky/jerky tracks that drill their point in your head. No need to pepper this one with a verbose intro. Listen and learn......!! Can't tell you equally how excited we are to tell you there's a couple more Andrei Morant tracks coming also on a v/a vinyl compilation soon to follow!!

Footsteps,
savage smile.
Strap the damage to my face.
Iron fist,
it was never loaded.
We care no more,
we don't.

The first album by Ben Lukas Boysen (also known for being the musician behind Hecq), Gravity is a deeply personal work in which this highly-praised producer sheds the artifacts of electronic music to compose a solemn and touching album of beauty and depths.

Melancholic piano lines, warm analogue sound, tender drums: Gravity is only as sad as you want it to be, for it is first a solitary and introvert journey through heights and emotions. Much more than a new beginning: a revealing.
