Ovum welcomes Leftbank Records co-boss Dudley Strangeways: a UK house and techno DJ rooted with serious residency stripes at the legendary Back To The Future Parties and appearances at the likes of Boiler Room. Hot off the back of releases on StarDub, Little Helpers and Made Of Concrete comes his Ovum debut, three tracks made constructed for one sole purpose... Melting minds in the darkest of rooms. 'Keep It Clean' is twistedly simple, a rump-busting roll in the drum department and paranormal pad leave space for a precision tuned tone that warps with the gravitas of a life support machine. Sinewy, cold and deliciously disconcerting, Dudley ensures funk and focus with delicately placed rhythmic elements and constant fluctuations. Next we find ourselves breaking into an early 90s warehouse as 'Transition' whisks us on an acid trip with flurries of jack and a lean lead line that slithers through the ever-mutating drums and occasional FX hailstorms. Devilishly futuristic and tailored for those deep long blends, the stripped back extensive nature of this guarantees mixing bliss. Truly, tracks built by a DJ, for DJs. Don't let this one slip...

Ltd. 12inch Private Pressing of 251 pieces includes hand-stamped and indiv. numbered golden inlay in a heavyweight black cardboard sleeve.

After the great 12 by Sirko Mueller it's time for the next adventure of our beloved Goldwill boys on Mojuba sublabel wandering. With their new record they teamed up with some vocal support by Lazarusman from Southafrica and deliver a conceptual work called "When We" where one mesmerizing main theme is taking three different approaches to stimulate all your musical senses. From serious rocking dancefloor action via deep relaxed house grooves to sparkling ambient sounds! Enjoy the music!

Since the great welcome of Martin Eyerer's third album 'Struktur' last year we decided to ask some selected friends to provide a remix of any album track of their individual choice. We are very happy to present the first volume with 4 versions from Funk D'Void, Stephan Hinz, Marc Miroir and Gellert.

Nous'klaer closes the year 2016 with a single sided release by Mattheis. It's his first new music since Kindred Phenomena, and his most uptempo club music yet.

NHAN SOLO gets back into the swing of things. This time he teamed up with the wonderful CARI GOLDEN (Suara, Noir Music) for another catchy dance floor mover. "Body" comes in two versions, enjoy!

BODY (Night Version) Night Version is a deep and melodic trip which rides over a fantastic bouncy synth bassline, thrilling arp progression, seductive lyrics and hypnotizing sounds are sure to cast a spell over the listener that's hard to escape from.

BODY (Day Version) Day Version is all about Bass, Bass and more fucking Bass! NHAN SOLO produces a funky UK Garage-House dubbed monster by using heavy basslines, earthy drums, reductive vocal cuts - a rhythmic and driving journey, what a Banger!

Following on from the success of his chart topping Same Man EP earlier this year, DILBY is back on MOTHER RECORDINGS with a heavy-hitting dance floor release set to wash the winter blues away. Turn it up loud and let's dance baby!

TEARS
The A-Side gets things started with a chunky  kick lead beat and sizzling hats that instantly provide a rush of energy. FX sweeps and vocal splashes tease in the soulful hook before a huge saturated sub-bass drops into the track like a  bomb. Just as the tension rises to breaking point, relief comes in the form of a euphoric 90's house piano that cuts the tension and brings back the party mood. This is a track that brings dancers running and screaming for the bar to the floor!

U USED ME feat. Kristina Sheli
Here DILBY provides a significant contrast to the "hands in the air" vibe of TEARS, instead delivering a deep, emotional and musical club track. Opening with tight percussion and a heavy organ stab the track sets up perfectly to introduce the lush vocals of Kristina Sheli; a veteran singer who is as at home on the stage as she is in the studio. The beats and melody open up to make room for Kristina's melancholic and hypnotising vocal delivery. As the groove kicks back, a bouncy, melodic baseline emerges to push the track forward. While the track has a deeper felling than the A-Side, it certainly packs enough power and passion to demand a space in main room DJ sets.

Vintage House freaks and soul kids: Rhode & Brown from Munich come back on Toy Tonics with a great, funk driven, instrumental EP. Featuring a remix by upcoming producer HODINI. Rhode & Brown come from the growing young, new house scene of Munich. Since 3 years the kids host their own night at Munich's Kong Club and doing music. After a few remixes (check the one for Brooklyn based label Good Company Records) the boys release their first EP of 2015 on Toy Tonics. The sound They proudly call it Weißwursthouse produced on a Stradivari-build MPC 1000 in their beautiful studio in the heart of Munich. Influenced by old soul records, Detroit legends Theo Parrish and Moodymann, as well as new experimental house from the Scandinavian labels around Studio Barnhus. Everything with their own unmistakable Rhode & Brown touch.

Once again we are very proud to present new artists on Kling Klong. This time our A&Rs Martin Eyerer & Rainer Weichhold were overwhelmed by the sheer power and sound quality of the 2 originals so they couldn't resist to sign these 2 buddies from Cologne. Being longtime fans from Moda Black Records we are very happy to have the labelowners Jaymo & Andy George on board with their fantastic rework of 'Thinking Less'.

'She's coming' and 'Atmosphere' are the names of the first singles of Edgar de Ramon on TUTU, his brand new label with social purposes. Twisted sounds, dark elements and wobbly atmospheres give shape to a teasing techno mood. Sexy and playful. Includes Leix and Concept II Remixes.
Enjoy it!

great one sided !!

For Local Talk release nr 015 we definitely talking locally with a young, fresh and exciting Stockholm producer.
HNNY is mostly known (so far) for his amazing house take on Mariah Carey's 'I want to know what love is' which was released on fellow Stockholm label Studio Barnhus last year. For his debut on Local Talk he's pulled together three house gems that showcase a remarkable diversity in production quality. The first cut 'For The Very First Time' is already a big track in the Stockholm club scene and supported by the whole Studio Barnhus crew. The second track and possibly the most played track in the Local Talk office over the last months is the slightly old school 'Apricots'. It's all about the New Jersey organs and analogue basslines on this one. Proper feel good biz!
Last but not least HNNY delivers a +10 min long killer dj tool consisting of percussion and drums only. The track is called Trummor which in Swedish simply means drums.

Gregor Tresher already liked Mars Bill's tracks on Suara and Intacto a lot but when he heard these demos he was immediately convinced to sign this new Italian artist on his label Break New Soil. And when he received the Basic Channellesque remix from Heiko Laux from the Kanzleramt, he was sure to have a true gem on his stick. Do you agree

Marco Bernardi, a British producer with quite a flamboyant personality is no stranger to the Burek family. Having already released an excellent 2-part 12" series titled "Laffer EP" for Barba last year, it could've been expected that he'd appear on the mothership at some point. As on those two records, there's plenty of synth action going on, although with a little bit more restraint and less roughness. EP consists of 4 tracks, who's names to some extent hint at what you might expect to hear when you put the needle on - "Preminitions Of A Solar Blank", "Invisible Breaths", "Static Winds" and "Walking With Slippers". The opener, "Preminitions Of A Solar Blank", is a wonderful and rich composition, with a melody-heavy approach which does not cripple it's dancefloor momentum for one second. Masterful! "Invisible Breaths" is slightly deeper than the opener, with a subtle emotion buried between the layers of synth lines that organically unravel throughout the track. "Static Winds" is perhaps the closest to Marco's earlier Barba output. A bit squeaky, a bit messy and properly mental with a devastating effect on the dancefloor. "Walking With Slippers", last track on the release, is a very direct one, with a straightforward beat and a heavy synth line which is just impossible to ignore.

AnD make a return for the 6th instalment on Brothers, hooking up with 3 fresh new artists, adding to the label's growing roster of techno talent.

Headless Horseman makes his debut ride out for an external label, laying down a bad boy broken beat stepper with AnD for a brutal but grooving A side offering. For B1 Earwiggle boss and one half of Tinfoil, Sunil Sharpe, teams up with AnD to serve up the pounding slab of acidic techno that is Security Breach. The final track for BROS006 sees AnD and D.Carbone collaborate on a relentless 4x4 acid bomb.

Three collaborations that you may not see again so grab this record while you can...

hot mini compilation - limited clear vinyl !!!

Released through Future Classic (Flight Facilities, Flume, Luke Million), 'It's Not Over' is the dark horse of the content-heavy indie-dance world. With its evocative video already clocking up over 150,000 views and earning a Vimeo 'Staff Pick' now comes the remixes. Copenhagen techno game-changer Kölsch responsible for recent classics 'Opa' and 'All Things Matt' provides a heavy hitting A-side of festival friendly techno while Ejeca taps into the London bass-meets-house vibe perfectly and Berlin mainstay Dave DK worked with Ewan Pearson to create a classic deep house version that's been supported by Michael Mayer, Luca Bacchetti, Audiojack & Mark Farina to name a few.

Animals On Psychedelics is a new label out of Cleethorpes, run by DJ/promoter Carl_H. Through a combination of name, artwork and musical output, Animals On Psychedelics focuses on the more tripped out, spacey side of electronic music. The label's debut release is a three-track EP from London duo Invisible Menders, otherwise known as Dom Ahtuam & Jane Fitz, who have also released on Porn Wax and BOE Recordings.

Detroit label with a filthy crossbite... info on this one sooon!

Alex Warren, AKA Kiwi, debuts on Futureboogie for the label's closing release of the year. With previous releases on labels like Optimo Music, Blasé Boys Club and Sneaky Music, the versatile producer serves up four tracks of deep and driving underground goodies. The London based producer/DJ has genre hopped with ease over the last few years, building up an impressive arsenal of productions and remixes. He has been called upon to reshape for artists like The Klaxons, Duke Dumont and Bonar Bradberry, and his music has been warmly received and supported by Andrew Weatherall, Daniel Avery, Erol Alkan and many more. On his Futureboogie release, Kiwi blends energetic Italo styles on lead track 'Orca', whilst 'Minke' fuses gnarly technoid house with deft melodies and soft touches. The spatial synths of 'Logman's Break' create a highly infectious earworm of a track and the brass melodies freestyle over a sturdy production, whilst the closing 'Pygmy' gets spaced out with tweaking acid bass and moon stomping beats.

SDX is the producer alias of our resident DJ BeNi, who delivers finest Detroit techno for our catalogue number 008. The track titles suggest that the times he produced these tracks in weren't the easiest ones. But well, he made it! And as long as hard times translate into such a musical output, we are fine with it. THE DAY SHE ASKS FOR FORGIVENESS is a slowly building percussive 808 banger, built around a short vocal sample. FORMLESS, SHAPELESS is similar in style, but full on right from the start. Peaktime alert! THE NEW F_WORD rounding off this record with a totally different approach: Electro! Additionally to these there is little extra gem as a digital bonus. LIFETIME GUARANTEES AND OTHER THINGS ASSHOLES BELIEVE IN comes along as a belter built around a strong minimalistic string theme in a Robert Hood-like fashion.

Alex Sander Berlin Dj- and Label owner (Kill A Beat Records) does his next job on ECLAIRE THE HEART.
In "Music be my Lover" Alex Sander combines a fusion of special electronic sounds and elements of the 80's and 90's with interesting and exciting new rhythms of today.
This is Deep House that will certainly climb the charts and fill every dance floor.
The voice belongs to Lamont Prince, a singer and producer from Washington, DC. His singing style combines the roots of Gospel with elements of Art Rock. The amazing remixes come from Patty Kay, Boy Next Door and Samuel Fach.

Castanea Records present its second release by Andrey Zots.
This vinyl includes 1 track for each side: "Into Oblivion" on side A and "Into Oblivion" Verrina & Ventura remix on side B.

ME & her are back featuring Billie Fountains vocals with their new Lost EP'. The title
track, highlighted by wavy sounds combined with shakers and rainy percussion, turns
into a sphere of late-released Bass and a melodic-melancholic vocal that takes the
soul down to dusty places. Lost while dancing.

The B-side April , is a more upbeat instrumental, featuring energetic chords on top
of a techhouse groove.

Finally, Nakadia, possibly Asia's most beloved underground DJ, reworks Lost in a
progressive way, adding a taste of digital and plugged synthesizers, building a darker
sound-gate.

First full EP from the enigmatic Osch! Straight from the Norrkˆping underground, this live techno master drops three solid tracks. Two stripped down, beat-driven techno tools are accompanied by one more abstract track to show that this versatile producer is far from a newcomer to the scene.

It's time for sicilian power. Paul Ursin presents his Universe EP" on OFFSPIN032.

Title track Universe is covered by warm & drive-bass, percussion synths and a
wavy mainlead that hijacks the mind to deeper places.

Still waters run deep as Explorazione starts with strict but area-wide beats and turns
into an
Interaction of arpeggiated synths and powerful bass.

Followed by the last track Passage feat. Afterwards", whose sweet reverb-heavy
vocals glide through the Bassment , the EP constantly keeps up the danceable tech-
house elements.Definitely a flowing continuity of quality sounds.
