All Vinyl New Releases - News

Nobody can deny the fact that Vilnius in Lithuania is currently a very creative and agile place. First and foremost Mario Basanov of course, whose Ten Walls moniker swept the board last year and whose hype seems to have only just started.

His popularity was heightened by the start of his own label Boso. It took off with the highly praised "Walking With Elephants", which was already one of the biggest tunes of this summer, before it even came out.

The second release is by Few Nolder, another highly talented native from Vilnius, who showed frst signs of life on Connaisseur with his lovely tune "Space Espace" on our last edition of Livingroom Techno as well as with his remix for "Canto D'Amore" by Marco Effe & Francesco Carone. "Clouds" is the name of his Boso release, and it looks to be the next big thing for this young label.

For his frst own release on Connaisseur he delivered "IF".The fact that it is different from his other output is why we have decided to present this tune in two versions as a 10" vinyl-only single.

The original is a summerish and catchy house cut with a bouncy bassline and a slightly UK-approach.This tune makes you move without there being much you can do about it.
The alt version goes deeper, building up with a question/answer theme until a strong, driving piano element joins to complete the track. Lovers of older Pokerflat releases will truly enjoy this version.

We really believe in Few Nolder, which is why we can already announce another release, which is planned for autumn.

Big remix package of the recently released album of MTD including remakes by Bas Mooy (Mord, CLR, 47), Subjected (Electric Deluxe, Vault, Sleaze, Affin), Kessell (Polegroup, Granulart) and VSK (Perctrax, Planet Rhythm, Ear To Ground). Limited coloured vinyl with no re-press.

GERMAN HOT SHOT SABLE SHEEP IS NEXT UP ON THE FAMED DESOLAT X SERIES Bursting onto the seen in 2011 with releases on Moon Harbour, Be As One, and Defected Records sub-label DFTD, Sable Sheep has quickly positioned himself at the forefront of the new breed of electronic music producers. Hailing from Germany, Sable Sheep is one of the finest purveyors of dance-floor orientated underground sounds and it is with great pleasure that we see him release the Vagabond EP on the Desolat X series this May. 'Fallen Lead Showers' kicks off the EP with aplomb. Here Sable Sheep infuses a distinctive tech-infused psychedelic quality into the track from the beginning, which develops until a classic sample comes in alongside well-placed percussion flourishes which are sure to send the dancefloor into raptures. 'Vagabond From Hell' continues in a similar vein, energetic from the off, it features sharp percussion and deep elastic bass, with speckles off trippy sounds entering the fray. 'Sobriety' is another dance-floor orientated track underpinned by a driving beat while a meandering electronic synth, incessant hi-hats, mechanical sounds all combine with fantastic results. 'Crown' rounds off the EP in fine style with a slowly building bouncy beat, industrial bleep, showcasing a classy twisted house aesthetic. On the Vagabond EP, Sable Sheep has expertly demonstrated why he is one of the most sought after electronic music producers to emerge in the last few years. All four tracks are bursting with personality and he is a great addition to the Desolat family.

Already three years after his third album, Vitalic is back on Jennifer Cardini's records label Correspondant Records with two original new tracks.
Often unclassifiable, but always efficient, Vitalic shouts out and restyles his universe under many different ways.
After having mixed electro music to rock, to disco and then to pop in the course of his three albums, « Film Noir » EP invites us to a spatial journey.
Unusual, unknow, fascinating, powerfull and sometimes dark , this project defines itself as a cold disco. His own and recognizable esthetic shows here two of his multiple faces : ‚Film Noir' will remind absorbing universe of german sound of 90's : a techno and slow kick, a spatial slicks and a worrying mental melody. ‚Ooey', a sort of hallucinated electro pop joined by some chorists, without forgetting Lady Disco despite of its new wave bass.

A: Wahrlich & Carbon - Traum A
An unique masterpiece of finest minimal techno! This monotone dark tune could be the soundtrack for a night walk in the forest. Bloodcurling beautiful. Wahrlich und Carbon at its best!
B: Wahrlich & Carbon - Kiefermäuler
Here you'll find a more abstract work of techno music pounding out a darker and more industrial tune. Like the regularity of a sledge hammer purpoting the rhythm on a galley, Wahrlich & Carbon are getting relentless once again!

DiKSO reach the ripe old age of 10 releases in fine style !

A1 / Nhan Solo - Supervisor/

Wow, isn't it one of these million dollar Detroit house classics from discogs No, it is not and no, it didn't sample such.
Nhan Solo well known from OFF Recordings, Semester Musik and his own imprint Mother Recordings created a slam dunk for every dancefloor with at least one woman on it, stand back and watch them come, it's a hell of a dancefloor weapon. This is definitely the supervisor... vitalizer... womanizer... synthesizer... what did he say Doesn't matter. This track is all of this and so could you when you play this out. You can't be a Synthsizer... Er, we really can't remember how this word came on the list..

A2 / Huxley & Daniel Solar feat. Miss Bee - Dancing With Your Heart

Label commander Solar and chief officer Huxley from Tsuba and 20:20 Vision bring you something from outer space: Miss Bee. Her voice is so shy and fragile... when she is asking for the next dance you cannot refuse her, especially when she wants your heart. So open it up wide and let all this spring fever in. Green trees, colourful flowers, the happy sound of playing children... Oh my god, this is true, it's springtime. Hopefully it is not a programme on the holodeck, this must be real.

B1 / Balcazar & Sordo - Stay With Me

Here we have some relaxed mexican vibe: Balcazar & Sordo, well known from No.19 Music and Dirt Crew with a track like a summer breeze, creating a nice and lovely atmosphere with a so so beautiful piano and voices that are sounding like the Sirens from the Odyssey. OK, I have never heard the Sirens before, but I bet they sound like this.

B2 / Satin Jackets feat. Natalie Conway - One More Chance

Woohoo, he is back, and he is not alone. Together with Natalie Conway, Satin Jackets beams us right back into that time most of us takes all our inspiration from. But this not an edit, this is fucking real, this is real music. We are really, really proud to have them on board. Watch out, there's more to come...

Richard Polson and Nick Dunton on very fine form here with one of their strongest production collaborations from all the way back in 2001 - It is now ten years since Richard's untimely passing

A varied approach with thumping drums and whimsical Detroit leanings - a great three track package, last ever available copies...

James Dymond - Odyssey
Since making his debut on ArmadaÉs Aropa label, dance land embraced the sound of James Dymond. The UK producer is on for another round of crowd pleasing, this time with the mesmerizing ÈOdysseyÉ.
Honoring the classic sound of trance, James makes his productions shine out with a strong build-up, emotional break and sturdy pay-off.

Gunnar & Bram met each other, during a disco night around 2010 in Berlin where they both played. They felt a natural harmony right away and stood at each other's Dj booth during the whole duration of the other's sets, thrilled about the music selection. A legendary night followed. It was clear they had found their
Musical Soulmate.
Over time their connection became stronger and stronger, although they had decided to continue producing and performing separately at first.
Dutch born, African raised, keyboard player, Bram producing French house under the name - BRM and Gunnar making both live performances and Dj Sets with the Berlin based DJ Duo - Schwipp Schwapp . In 2015, they finally joined forces, build their - Flamingo Studio in Berlin Kreuzberg and started producing
and performing under the name Rimini Sunset . Rimini Sunset occupies a rare space in dance music. Italo and Disco influenced, Rimini Sunset are wanderers between worlds, from the beginning of electronic Dance Music to Analog Synth driven Tech House. Their powerful productions are hypnotic with a vivid sense of melody that sticks long in mind. On a mad ride through their influences, Gunnar & Bram are an impressive powerful live act, creating mesmerising dance floor experiences on the fly.
After Releases on Karaoke Kalk , No Static and Chilly Mint they finally found a home at Lebensfreude Record where they release their second EP De Tomaso .

finally repressed !

Alberto Ruiz has been making the music world spin for quite some time. After acquiring all types of classical synths and drum machines his skills as a producer
launched his track "Alien" to the #1 sweetspot in Beatport's Techno Top 100 as well as being charted by the likes of Dubfire. In no time he was noticed by record labels such as Suara, Elevate,Terminal M, and Noir Music as well as artists like Dubfire, Green Velvet, Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer, Marco Carola, Carl Cox, Joseph Capriati, Pan Pot, Marco Bailey, Solomun playing his tunes.

For this release he teams up with acclaimed Barcelona based DJ Oscar Aguilera

Oscar started off as a House DJ, and slowly moved his musical preference to the Techno side of dance life, with releases on labels such as Elevate (from Pig&Dan), 100% Pure (from 2000 And One) and now Bitten.
Passion, dedication and energy defines him as an artist with his epic closing of the Monegros Festival for 25.000 partyheads, still the most viewed video of the festival.

Give a warm welcome to Dirtybird artist and first non-european producer on Gold Records: Bruno Furlan from Sao Paolo. Once labelowner Rainer Weichhold received these demos he was immediately convinced that there's something special in them. So after a few clubtests he was sure that he needed to release them on his label. And also the two guys from The Glitz needed no long persuasion to deliver their fantastic remix for 'The Book'. But listen by yourself

Following an outing to Tokyo, our favourite old school pioneer jumps over the channel to knock out four edits to make the floors shake. This EP really cracks up the party vibe a notch, with edits of PRINCE (I Wanna Be Your Lover), THE VELVELETTES (He Was Really Saying Something) ARETHA FRANKLIN (Say A Little Prayer), and THEM (Gloria)
Cor Blimey!

With that combinded choice you don´t have to hesitate. Put your Sound System to the max and enjoy the sounds. HESITATE EP is Number 80 on Stylerockets, the Berlin Imprint of the Kiddaz FM Music Group. DOMPE,
Berliner-of-choice since 2011, shows once again his multifaced talent being a producer. HESITATE is the WarmUp on the Ep and makes you fancy for more stuff like this. With ROSEY he chases another TechHouse cutie.

Brilliant Bassline, a laconic vocal and suddenly your start to
move. We go on with WAREHOUSE BLUES, snapping the fingers on our way to the dancefloor. TIME MACHINE is rounding off that thing, want to put outselfes into the same and than start from the beginning. Clap your Hands - 4 Tracks, 1 Party ... we really like that shit

First reference of Blitzkrieg Waves label, a humble, plain and honest project in the hands of two close friends united in the same concept (Demuff y Manuel Monino), which is now released under the name of Heer Division 1, which is the beginning point of a row of references which we will have the chance of enjoy along this year.
The first one, comes in charge of two renowned and defined figures in the spanish techno scene, Kike Pravda y HD Substance, who will lead and mark off the lines to follow in the emerging project. These artists will bring their personal and musical vision up having been supported by many important labels. In this record we will find 4 tracks, Kike Pravda y HD Subtance providing two tracks each.

Born in Italy in 1988, Alessio Meschieri's love of House music began at age 15. Exhilarated by mixing led him to the decks and by 20, his passion drove him to the studio where (under a different moniker), his productions were signed on a variety of labels.

Support by Josh Wink, Sasha Carassi, Steve Lawler and Martin Landsky among others.

2nd release from Konstruktion is a split EP between Kristian Heikkila and Tjackhora. Deep, Detroit, Jackin and Tools are in mainfocus on this release and we are happy to release the debut of Tjackhora aka SKV18.

Three new dancefloor weapons from Andre Crom's recent production marathon.
They are results of a journey both in location and style: written mostly during an extended asia tour, the three tracks explore the borders between techno and house, giving proof of Crom's musical evolution.
Both melodic and highly functional, this ep is prepared to hit the clubs and festivals of
the summer.

Limited editon for this 12 that compiles different hidden gems from Aybee in his different projects like Orion 70 or working with the vocalist Omega or Dozie. Technosoul in the best way.

Dutch legend and Wolfskuil inner circle member Benny Rodrigues returns to the label for a fresh twelve. In the DJ booth he has no equal and established himself as one of the world's premier selectors. Besides his ominous DJ skills, Benny has been making waves in the studio the last couple of years as well. Wether it be as ROD or under his own name, respected imprints worldwide have embraced and released his productions with eagerness. Klockworks, CLR, Drumcode and Desolat are just a few of the labels he can call home now.

Wolfskuil wouldn't be Wolfskuil if we didn't pick the 'odd one' of the litter. The Choice Is Mine might be the most freaked out & modulated excersize Benny has yet to unleash upon the world. No 4 bars in this mental trip are the same, ever evolving around a sequence that brings old 90's warehouse techno to mind.

A peaktime monster like this deserves a royal rework. Berghain resident, Dystopian head honcho and man of the moment Rødhåd happily agreed to give his own and unique vision on the original. The result is stunning, psychedelic and with a little unexpected surprise in the final part of his remix and compliments the original in a perfect. Another Gem in our catalogue, we hope you will enjoy this as much as we do!

Damn! Did somebody upset Carlo Coz that boy has been throwing down some vicious balls-to-wall beats across his recent releases... and we love it! He got nasty with Shaded's Gender Bender and kicked some serious ass on his latest for Carl Cox's Intec.

Whilst Carlo's latest outings may be fierce, our Toronto brother has lost none of the trademark funk that permeates all of his work. The magic ingredient that keeps our hips on the move.

Carlo returns to MOOD with DeeBug, the rampant techno tick that burrows into your brain with its rapid, pincer-like drums and thumping kick. On the flip its fellow ear-bug, No Turning Back, flows with an almost laid-back and effortless groove. A perfect pair from Mr. Lio.
