"Goodbye 20th Century", a double album originally released in 1999, features versions of pieces by avant-garde composers such as John Cage, Yoko Ono, Steve Reich and Christian Wolff played by Sonic Youth and various collaborators such as Christian Marclay, William Winant, Wharton Tiers and Takehisa Kosugi.

Vinz Giaimis comes from southern Italy, a former dj who, during his years of activity found inspiration in New Wave, Disco, Electronic and Kosmische Musik. He describes his musical experience as a journey between experimentation and psychedelic anarchy. In his first EP for the German label Climax! Electronic and Krautrock are blended in a organic and fluid way which leave the listner defenceless inside an unpredictable and multifaceted sound cage.

Wewantsounds is delighted to announce the reissue of Ammar El Sherei's sought-after instrumental album " Music From The East" from 1976. Here, the iconic Egyptian musician and composer revisits seven classic compositions by another Egyptian legend, Mohamed Abdel Wahab, in his own hypnotic way. Mixing Arabic music with funky arrangements and electric keyboard experimentations, the album is a perfect showcase for El Sherei's artistry. Curated and annotated by Lebanese-born Arabic music expert Mario Choueiry from Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, this reissue has been newly remastered and comes with original Soutelphan artwork.

The West is crumbling. It's values, once unshakable, have buckled under the weight of a world spinning ever faster and growing ever more hollow. Revival Of The West, Blue Gene's debut album, is his exploration of this collective malaise-a call to rediscover meaning in a world that has grown estranged from itself.

On his debut, Blue Gene gives voice to the contemporary themes that keep him awake at night: consumer hysteria, the numbing grip of social media, the solace found at the bottom of a bottle, the crushing weight of taxes, and the paralyzing complexity of a world where humanity seems to have been reduced to a cog in the machine. Yet, despite all the despair, his songs always carry a spark of hope: after the fall, you can rise again. These stories are wrapped in the sound of classic country music-music about life as it truly is: bent, battered, but full of resilience.

Revival Of The West is no nostalgic longing for a bygone era. It's an invitation to reinvent the values we've lost. It urges us to return to a place where life can be honest again-where music doesn't aim to please, but to say something real. The record is further enriched by guest appearances from Bart Vervaeck (pedal steel), Nils De Caster (violin, mandolin), Mathijs Steels (piano), Ciska Dhaenens (vocals), and Harry Descamps (vocals). We are excited to announce the release of "Nocturnal", the latest album from Basic Need, the collaborative project of electronic music veterans Alexi Delano and Pablo Sánchez. The 10-track album was recorded between Alexi’s studio in Stockholm and Pablo’s studio in Barcelona, with their signature blend of deep techno, immersive soundscapes and jazz improv approach.

With over three decades in the electronic music scene, Alexi Delano, a driving force in Sweden's electronic music scene, is known for his balance of minimalism, deep house and dark techno. Pablo Sánchez, one of Venezuela's top electronic music exports, has captivated global audiences with his versatile approach to music, combining dancefloor energy with left of field elements.

Together, they continue their artistic partnership under Basic Need, after several EP releases on Culprit, Hafendisko and Seven Villas Records among other labels.

The record includes five tracks and a digital bonus exhibiting a sonorous marriage between post-industrial esotericism and club-ready psychedelia; A labyrinth of elaborate sound design coiling around sharp rhythms, adorned by fractured voices spawned in obscure worlds. With sensibility towards granular detailing amidst a powerful cascading flow, La Serpiente’s versatile sonic arrangements coalesce into music that always breathes – A drifting current of enchantment materializing as a release that is both ornamental and symbolic in its vision.

The third record on Baltidore Records, titled «Rudimental», brings together the forces of two producers from Eastern Europe. This release features three tracks by the label's founder, Koloniari, known for his unique approach to electronic music, combining deep bass, experimental textures, and hypnotic rhythms. Joining them are two tracks from Kyiv-based sound producer Roma Khropko, a member of the project Criminal Practice, whose work is distinguished by dynamic energy and innovative sound solutions. This record is a vivid example of the fusion of two different approaches to music creation, each reflecting the unique vision of its creators. Koloniari contributes atmospheric and deep compositions, while Roma Khropko adds rhythmic complexity and layering, which perfectly complement the overall picture.

Dark Knite continues its run of deep, dark and heavy releases with the old skool jungle don himself, Danny Styles, ripping up the rule book on his debut EP for the label. I'm Not Sick is a driven slice of menacing jungle, amen led and heavy as hell, its a simply unstoppable track. Dark Place is just as relentless as the A side, taking the Kid & Play break and melding it with amens and the darkness of the title. Lastly, Badman Bass switches it up to slightly later style of d'n'b, with its warped bass and tough as nails beats...

Dj Stephano steps up to the plate after a run of wicked EPs on Kniteforce, KFA and KFRR....this release showcases his variety in style and ability to turn anything into something dark and terrifying. Darkness has a fierce swagger and pace to it, using wanr stabs in a nasty way, and a strange speech to further mystify and confuse the listener. Just Play is anything but playful, with its hypnotic sounds and unusual format, while Blame brings in a sinister piano to an increasingly claustrophobic vibe...

Trees Speak are releasing their new album TimeFold worldwide on 15 Nov 24 on Soul Jazz Records.

Trees Speak return with TimeFold, their sixth release on Soul Jazz Records, further expanding their ever-evolving sonic universe. This new album builds on their signature blend of hypnotic krautrock rhythms, post-punk angularity, and experimental soundscapes while venturing into new terrain by blending influences from avant-garde electronics to ceremonial sound forms.

On TimeFold, Trees Speak (comprised of the Tucson-based duo Damian Diaz and Daniel Martin Diaz) push their musical boundaries from expansive, intergalactic landscapes to eerie, imagined 1970s Italian and French sci-fi horror film scores. The album seamlessly weaves John Carpenter-esque synthesizer motifs with ambient sound sculptures, conjuring immersive worlds that are both cinematic and otherworldly.

The album also incorporates the duo’s deep-rooted influences, which span across electronic pioneers like Jean-Michel Jarre (Oxygene), Tangerine Dream, and Karlheinz Stockhausen. Drawing on the revolutionary techniques of Musique Concrète, TimeFold features experimental track splicing, looping, and collage work that harkens back to the golden age of avant-garde music. At times, the album channels the ceremonial tones and hypnotic rhythms reminiscent of early 1970s krautrock, fusing these sounds with organic instrumentation like dulcimers, adding an earthy, drone-like ritual quality to the experimental electronic framework.

A new element in this release is the inclusion of spoken word by Ashley Christine Edwards, which lends the album a haunting, apocalyptic edge. Her contributions evoke a tone reminiscent of the 1970s avant-garde scene, recalling literary and conceptual artists like Ruth White. The spoken words create a sensory experience akin to ceremonial chants, adding to the atmospheric intensity of the album. These vocal elements tie into the overall theme of TimeFold, which continues Trees Speak’s exploration of futuristic technologies and the communication of nature, with the evocative concept of trees and plants acting as organic hard drives storing data and knowledge.

Drawing further influence from Italian and French horror cinema, Trees Speak explore cinematic tension throughout TimeFold, creating a layered listening experience. The record transports the listener from the haunting, desolate beauty of Southwestern desert vast landscapes to an auditory space that melds early electronic experimentation with the contemporary urgency of conceptual art.

Since their debut Ohms in 2020, Trees Speak’s prolific output on Soul Jazz Records has continually redefined genre boundaries. TimeFold solidifies their position as visionaries in experimental music, offering an album that is as much a meditation on future technologies as it is a tribute to the avant-garde traditions that have come before.

System Error’s Flow Series proudly welcomes Gianluca Pellerano, a dedicated DJ and producer from Rapallo, Italy, and the founder of labels Cime di Rapax Records and RPX16035.

This record marks Gianluca’s second vinyl release, showcasing four punchy, head-turning tracks blending playful energy with electro sensibilities. Grounded in his deep-rooted passion for hardware, the record reflects his continuing journey through analogue sounds, pushing boundaries with finesse.

The record’s closing track, ‘Streghe’, is a special collaboration with Gianluca’s mentor, Niki il B. Featuring a driving bassline and fluid drum patterns, the track delivers a captivating and dynamic finale to the EP.

Breve is the new album by Stefan Paul Goetsch aka Hainbach.

"After a ceaseless amount of work and family struggles, 2023 had left me empty and tired. Instead of the many hats I usually wear, I shifted my focus exclusively on my music. For two weeks every day I sat down behind a few modular synths, a toy piano and an Ondioline, recording tape after tape. I did not lock myself in though - my kids were playing around me, commenting, touching knobs, adding oscillations. What in „deadline times“ can be disrupting, became restorative. I was with my family, just drifting on waveforms. I hope some of that atmosphere shines through, and the album can help you to find peace as it did for me.

Based out of Berlin, Germany, electronic music composer and performer Hainbach creates shifting audio landscapes THE WIRE called "One hell of a trip". His music has been released on Opal Tapes, Seil Records, Spring Break Tapes, Limited Interest and Marionette. He has been fascinated with sine tones, noise and FM since he discovered the dial on the radio. Never losing his childhood wonder, he still searches for the sounds in between on modular synths and other devices.

Infinity Plus One joins Fresh Tunez. Operating from London’s underground since the ‘90s, Infinity Plus One has been quietly building a reputation as a distinguished producer across electronica. Here he blends deep moods with undeniable dancefloor appeal. The opening track is big, pulling us in with brooding bass and intricate textures. At A2, rich dreamy chords combine with energetic drums for an ethereal haze. Flipping to the B-side, B1 brings fresh energy with its breaks-infused groove, injecting a lively yet sophisticated edge to the record. The EP closes with a dive into an irresistibly sleek and sultry downtempo number for a few minutes of calm.

Argentinian producer Gonzalo MD is back on Knotweed with a 4-tracker where he further develops his own style, rough, tough, rhythmic and dreamy at the same time.

Always endeavoring to drop it a little way different, Ital Counselor Records once again stretch things in a forward direction while paying full and forceful tribute to that which has come before. This heartical 7" is a tribute to the late great Prince Lincoln Thompson in the form of a reimagined take on his composition "Kinky Money Game."

It is with great honor that ITAL COUNSELOR records has been able to work with two legends of the music business on this slab of plastic. Firstly, Jeb Loy Nichols comes with a storied history in music and the visual arts. He first came to ITAL COUNSELOR’s attention upon discovering the 1981 compilation, “Wild Paarty Sounds” via Cherry Red/On-U Sound. Later would be greater, with projects skirting the realms of country, soul, reggae, and leftfield. Bands like the Fellow Travelers, solo albums with Adrian Sherwood, and more recently writing songs for Horace Andy’s latest On-U album have all contributed to an impressive body of work.

Over the years when Jeb is not making music, he can be found writing books or churning out block prints of birds, leaves, pithy phrases, and the odd sleeve art for labels like Pressure Sounds, and, yes ITAL COUNSELOR. His sleeve work on this 7” indeed captures the essence of the music hiding under the cardboard exterior. Lo-fi, retro while poignantly on time. Social commentary manifested auditorily and visually.

Jeb’s reinterpretation of Thompson's original bubbles over a slow burning one drop built by none other than Studio One, Riz Records, and Tuff Scout Records alum Gil Cang. In yet another musical first brought to you by ITAL COUNSELOR, this piece of wax represents the only time Jeb and Gil have worked together. The results are a magical mix equally at home in the hands of a sound system operator unconstrained by the current ‘steppers’ norms as it is on a home stereo where one can deeply sit with the lyrics of depth and significance. August 1988, Spacemen 3 embark on one of the strangest events in the band's already strange history. Billed as "An Evening Of Contemporary Sitar Music" (although consciously omitting the sitar), the group would play in the foyer of Watermans Arts Centre in Brentford, Middlesex to a largely unsuspecting and unsympathetic audience waiting to take their seats for Wim Wenders' film Wings of Desire. Spacemen 3's proceeding set, forty-five minutes of repetitive drone-like guitar riffs, could be seen as the "Sweet Sister Ray" of '80s Britain. Their signature sound is at once recognizable and disorienting – pointing as much to the hypnotic minimalism of La Monte Young as to a future shoegaze constituency. On this double LP reissue, Dreamweapon is augmented by studio sessions and rehearsal tapes from 1987 that would lead up to the recording of Spacemen 3's classic Playing With Fire album. "Spacemen Jam," featuring Sonic Boom and Jason Pierce on dual guitar, is a side-long mediation on delicate textures and psychedelic effects. Includes download card and new insert with liner notes by Will Carruthers.

Following the groundbreaking debut of “Resurrection Part 1,” Dean Dennis and his project Sector are back with “Resurrection Part 2.” After his influential time with Clock DVA, Dennis aimed to push boundaries by blending industrial techno, hip-hop, drum and bass, jazz fusion, and Detroit house into a unique, experimental sound.

“Resurrection Part 2” delves deeper into this sonic landscape, offering listeners an immersive experience. Each track, carefully selected from Dennis’s personal archives, combines the raw energy of past recordings with modern production techniques, creating a bridge between history and innovation.
This second installment is more than a continuation; it’s an evolution. With hypnotic rhythms, stimulating melodies, and an enveloping atmosphere, “Resurrection Part 2” transports listeners to an alternate dimension where music transcends traditional boundaries.

Buckley - not be confused with the UK house veteran of the same name - is a new young producer from Leeds who brings his brand of UK garage to the increasingly vital Well Street label. Opener 'Sniper's Glint' is a naughty low-end wobbler with prickly percussion. '1003' is just as filthy thanks to the low-end oscillations and glistening, knife-like hi-hats. On the flip, 'Gloam' keeps things heavy and bass-driven with kinetic 2-step percussion and 'Snowdrift' shuts down with a fourth and final heads-down back-room garage burner that makes you want to move.

Berlin’s ISH returns with "The Language of Love is Acid EP," a stunning addition to our ERROR100 series. A record delivering the compelling tension of rich, emotive sounds set against a backdrop of tough kicks and menacing acid flicks. ISH crafts a sound full of feeling, every track a narrative told in contrasting sonic worlds…

Analog Concept Records presents the ‘Multitudes Ep’ from Macedonia's techno maestro and prolific DJ, Mihail P.

In these 4 tracks are a fine mix of atmosphere, intricate electro and techno drum foundation, with warm hues of melody that seep smoothly into the imagination. Claudio Mate introduces from the Italian headquarters a new label from the Ottagono family. Influenced by his sister Vala, which she introduced Claudio in the early 90s, in club music and club culture. Ottagono Retro is a new fashion retro vintage outlet record label, inspired by Vala’s fashion, vintage clothing, and handmade accessories shop called Ottagono Retrò. You can visit the physical store on the first floor of Ottagono’s historic place in Nocera, close to the beauties of Naples, Sorrento, Pompei, Salerno, and the Amalfi Coast in southern Italy .

Hansol Oh is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumental electronic musician, currently living between South Korea and Germany, proudly representing Gyeonggi (State) Province as its promotional ambassador. She first captured the spotlight as the Korean representative in the 2017 MTV Aloft Star competition, marking the beginning of her journey as an electronic musician and also becoming a Korean Ableton testimonial under the name Uza. In the last few years, during the COVID-19 era, she earned international attention as one of the most interesting indie solo K- wave artists. She is renowned for its robust philosophy and a distinctive, hard- hitting sound rooted in synthesizers with a retro analogue feeling. More recently, she introduced to the music world her new figure as Tova Oh.

A side: S.O.S club extended, for the fans of k-wave music since the COVID-19 has been a true sensational song. Club extended mix is exclusive for this vinyl release, keeping the original sounds which are a crossover mixture between 80s new wave, electro-pop, techno, house music, playing like a club anthem from deep to dark rooms to Balearic dance floors.

B side: Suitable Kimchi mix sounds like music coming from Netflix, Stranger Things show as the perfect soundtrack for any late-night party. It strikes the perfect harmony between EBM, new wave, electro, and techno, converging with disco soul music.
