As soon as Morphy was introduced to Raiden's ears the label boss began to work through tracks Morphy was submitting and it wasn't long before the these tracks were signed to Voodoo. With a very individual outlook to the tempo Morphy, alongside The Nasha Experience has created a single that brings a new angle to the Voodoo sound. Shackles: An immense piece of work from the Scottish dub master, The tracks intro contains the most haunting old slave vox used to maximum effect. Instantly recognisable 'Shackles' has been a show piece track in every deejays set who was fortunate enough to have it. The drop hits like a tonne of bricks straight to your jaw. Drums and bass create dancefloor weight that cannot be denied. Big, Brooding & and full of tense energy- This track is a future classic. Indus Valley with The Nasha Experience: Morphy collaborated wit long time friends The Nasha Experience- London's cross cultural bass fiends on Indus Valley, and both parties influence is heard instantly. Morphy's rugged drum patterns compliment the percussive momentum built up in the track. Cue is definitely one to watch for 2011, he's been tipped as one of the best breakthrough jump up artists out there right now and this release shows you why. 'Lose Control' will tear your speaker's apart with the distorted bass. On the flip Cue creates a beast of a tune with another aggressive track. Keep your eye on this fella!

Fresh from starting his new label with long time production friend Origin, Pleasure is back on one of the labels that broke his sound back in 2007. 'Venger' was released three years ago and now Pleasure has gone back in on this stomper giving it a new lease of life. Flip it over and you'll get a taste of the Shadow Demon Coalition. Sly, alongside MC Bassman hit you with his sixth release on Low Down and rest assured, it's a monster!

Now, 12 years after the first page in the Virus story was turned, and with its influence running deeper than ever, the label
is beginning yet another new chapter, throwing open its doors for the first time to a producer from outside their core camp.

Having released tracks on Ed Rush & Optical's Virus Recordings and Bad Company UK's Bad Taste, it should come as no surprise that Body & Soul like to deliver hard and heavy drum & bass that knocks you off your feet. On the latest outing for Austrian label Nasca Records Body & Soul twist out a filthy VIP version of Nasca's third release 'Monster Walk'. Winding basslines and weighty drums ensure that this one slays the place whenever, and wherever it gets dropped.

This debut release from new Ram signing Delta Heavy has already made an impact on dance floors worldwide and is a firm
favourite with all the key players within the DnB Scene. Judging by the crowd reaction these 2 monster tracks have received,
it is no surprise the likes of Andy C, Hype, Sub Focus, Chase & Status, Friction, Marky, Mistajam, Bailey, and many many more
have these tunes as a permanent fixture in their sets. With its absorbing intro, 'Space Time' instantly draws you into an
electro fuelled, roller coaster ride of twisted bass-lines and beats, showcasing Delta Heavy's superior production skills to
the max.

'Take The Stairs' keeps the electro vibe going with an energetic, jumping bass-line layered over intricate triplet beats that
hooks you from the off. Meticulously produced, it's without doubt an anthem in the making and to confirm their status,
features on the Andy C - Nightlife 5 project. If this single is a sign of things to come, then Delta Heavy certainly are set
to have a very bright future.

Hailing from East London DJ Pacso graces G13 records with his latest offering 'The Trick'. This tune carries some serious weighty bass and energy; it's been hammered on the airwaves for at least six months now. On the flip you'll be treated to a remix by The Shadow Demons themselves. 'The Banker' which was originally produced by Harvest this time last year has had the shite kicked out of it by awarding DJ Sly and Kool Fm DJ Pacso.

DRUM & BASS / DUB STEP REMIXES OF THE CLASSIC THE GIFT.

Command Strange is a young and talented producer hailing from Kazakhstan, the land thats normally known for Borat and his stupid antics however Command Strange has used this mockery as his inspiration and produced this masterpiece. Big things for this label in the new year.

Rudebwoy Plastic Records is now in its 11th year and this is a very popular label. Back in 2000, label owner DJ Heretic put out the first release and it is still getting repressed 11 years later. Lifestyle Recordings is a young label based in South West London who have been turning heads with their fresh outlook on the Drum and Bass scene. For the third release they've commissioned a remix from Survival who has been in the game since day one. This is a smooth release for Lifestyle and after talking to the label manager they've got plenty more where this came from.

Coming straight out of Austria, Masai deliver an immense 12'' for their fellow countrymen at Mainframe that's sure to be as well received as the last 12'' from Task Horizon and Insideinfo. Following on from that release isn't an easy job, but Masai have managed to capture that Mainframe sound perfectly. Tight beats and booming basslines are the order of the day.

Modified Motion and Faction bring pure fire with this release, 'Rig Basher' is just out right bass shattering jump up riddem that'll have the MC crying out for rewind after rewind. On the flip 'Think Again Fool' will fill your brain with bass sending your body into spasm. Big release and watch out for Part two of this two part series.

Everyone who is currently making waves in the world of hard drum n bass makes a contribution, yet the album is surprisingly diverse, melodic, and memorable.

Exit Records Presents 'Mosaic Vol 1' Sampler 1. With so much good music arriving in the Exit inbox it was decided that a various artist project was needed to ensure that it all sees the light of day and doesn't get caught up in a never ending schedule of singles. As normal with Exit Records, there's no prejudice in the track selection. This album truly represents the more experimental side of Drum and Bass as opposed to the crash bang wollop which seems to be the only side of Drum and Bass portrayed by the mainstream media today. Hopefully this album will manage to reach the people that thought this forward thinking music was left behind in the nineties and let them know that it's still alive and well and still capable of throwing up some surprising and unpredictable results.

Nu Directions is proud to present the debut 12" release from Need For Mirrors. The collaberative project between Mosus and HLZ. DJ and Radio play crosses the board with Doc Scott, Noisia, Ed Rush and Logistics all supporting. Forthcoming music on Nu Directions in the spring from Sinistarr, Lynx and Zero T.

A. Silent Witness - Brainedrain opens up with an uplifting sound scape of lush chords, tight beats, and bass growls that rises up to a devastating drop of titan like proportions. Drums and bass dance with each other along the way, taking in turn-around tripwires and reverb bombs. It eventually settles with a break down consisting of twisted pitch drops and euphoric anticipation. The second drop then kicks in with a different twist on the bass frenzy witnessed earlier. Simply Disgusting. AA. Silent Witness - Frozen Still still harks back to the vibes of jungle with an eerie wash amidst classic stabs and vocal snippets. This sound is updated with contemporary minimal drums, exciting rhythmic frills, and a rolling sub bass designed to smother everyone in the Silent Witness ether. Bass stabs and moody pads prevail with time stretched fills electrocuting all in it's path. Dangerous business! DJ Support: Klute, Break, Survival, Ant C, Fierce, Noisia, Silver, Vicious Circle, Cause 4 Concern,Friction.
