Mana is pleased to finally present Pomegranates by Nicolas Jaar as a double LP, with new mastering by D&M. The sleeve is designed by David Rudnick, with labels by Ste´phane Jourdan and a new insert created by Jaar collaborator and friend Maziyar Pahlevan.

Longer and slower-releasing than his other albums, Pomegranates often parallels the cinematic epic on which it's based with ideas pursued over long timelines and across dark landscapes, assembling elements and moods from the aesthetic and folkloric landscapes of Armenia. Jaar's identity is perceived within this, folding in his heritage as Palestinian and Chilean as he attempts to build a musical architecture outwards that frames as much of the mess and sprawl of life as possible; using a language that investigates the movement and fluctuation of his own artistic career and character similarly to the film's tracing of the coming of age of the young poet, Sayat-Nova.

At times, Pomegranates feels profoundly intimate, as though looking through the archive of a friend's music and discovering the accent and common currency that lives within each of these tracks. Much of Jaar's most elegant and touching melodic work is nestled here, its power residing in its simplicity and willingness to speak to the heart and not the mind of the listener.

In the text document included in the first freely distributed version of the album in 2015, Jaar writes that the album was conceived during a moment of change, and that the pomegranate became an icon that heralded that passage of time. The physical publication
of Pomegranates closes one door whilst opening another, keeping promises and marking a significant point in the career of an artist who restlessly reinvents himself, with a document that illustrates a common language of lyricism, freedom, and emotional resonance that links his many paths and projects.

This is the first brand new Hyper-On Experience EP to be released in decades, and it is simply amazing. The legendary artist behind massive underground anthems such as 'Lord Of The Null Lines' and 'Monarch of The Glen' return with a superb 3 track EP and its like they have never been away. All three tracks retain that unique blend of quirky humor and style with serious production and technical skill. Lift Me Up is a full on piano and live vocal work out, while Cannon Rush stands out as the most...hyper-on-ish of the tracks With its choir intro and cleverly manipulated vocals, is is both original and authentic. Meanwhile, Vibrations rounds out the EP and stpes a little further back in time, being slightly slower and deeper. This whole EP is a classic waiting to happen.

Longtime friends and studio buddies, Digital and Outrage bring the "fun back" (Function & Backlash) with their new 10" white label project, supporting straight up street beats, bass and vibes!

The Fifth Column is a secretive resistance movement that strikes from within. This album is its manifesto.

From cavernous, tribal experiments in dub vernacular to tense, tweaked out soundscapes to glittering atmospheres refracted through sheets of furiously inventive amens, each of these sixteen tunes stands on its own merits while reflecting a different facet of our sound, never stuck in the past, never nostalgic for the sake of it, but staying true to the soundsystem roots of this music. Each one is an exact articulation of our collective identity.

We believe that every single one of these tunes channels the spirit of the original artform, and that every single one of the artists involved has put their own twist on the culture and built something that will stand the test of time.

Featuring: Ahmad & Akinsa, Dead Man's Chest & Sknjob, Digital, Double O, Forest Drive West, Greenleaf, Gremlinz & Jesta, Mantra, Nucleus, Outer Heaven, Rumbleton, Seba ft Bkackeye MC, Sully, Theory, The Untouchables, X Nation.

* Alk-e-d is the first to get the 'Legacy' treatment on Kniteforce Records. One of the original KF crew, he has been with the label since 1991, and remains a fan favourite. The Legacy series is designed to showcase our most dedicated artists, those who have been with the label since the very early days. And if Kniteforce itself has a legacy, it is one where risks get taken and the love of good music is always at the front of our minds. This EP contains 4 remixes, and the highlight must be the first brand new remix in decades from legendary producer Sublove who went onto become huge with Way Out West. Sublove featured on the very first Kniteforce EP back in 1992, and was enticed to come back and make some old skool for the label as well as remixing Alk-e-d. And what a remix it is! Proper old skool with depth and class. Not only that, we have Darwin, one of the biggest names in the modern hardcore scene, Shadowplay, and Luna-C on remix duties too. All in all, this EP is stunning, and is nto to be missed.

This EP combines the veteran talents of Kniteforce label owner Dj Luna-C, with the debut release of Kniteforce Radio owner, The Lowercase, and comes up with something quite unique. A love for heavy beats and inspired by some of the toughest old skool around, the EP delves into the underground in a big way, throwing caution to the wind and layering multiple breakbeats and aggressive stabs together to make a wall of hard sound, just like it was back in the day....

AAR is a project by Milan-based producer, DJ and designer Giorgio di Salvo. The First Grade LP is his first record under this name, self-released in collaboration with Haunter Records, the first chapter in a new series dedicated to tonal and rhythmic experimentation. ADVANCED AUDIO RESEARCH is the ironic definition of this new music course of his, a nod to the large amount of esoteric studio gear accumulated and (ab)used during the years.
The project itself is the result of years of study and experimentation with generative music matrices, based on the application of a three dimensional array of variables and unknowns to algorithmic pattern creation. The result is punishing, close to the most radical exploits in ear-wrenching breakcore, footwork and jungle, albeit with a sonic and structural finesse that reveals the producer's manic dedication. Track A-4 is produced in collaboration with Somec and B-01 in collaboration with Heith, channeling abstract and melancholic vibes into the project.

Recorded, Mixed and Produced by Giorgio Di Salvo.
Track A-04 produced in collaboration with Somec.
Track B-01 produced in collaboration with Heith.
Additional mix by Luca Pace at Eden Garden Studio.
Mastered By Rashad Becker at D&M.

A collaborative project between Advanced Audio Research and Haunter Records.

Moresounds has such a legit and individual quality to his music. It has humour and light heartedness but will also destroy a dance-floor in true sound clash style. So when he casually sent Fracture the Warriah VIP he knew he had to do something with it.
It was a perfect fit for the Astrophonica APHA LTD series; Moresounds' individual style and individually hand screen printed sleeves.
Warriah VIP sees Moresounds aka Germain Bigou revisit his scorcher from 2017's Gradients compilation. Pure sound killer material straight from Moresounds Parisienne lab. The breaks have been smashed and the clash samples have been dubbed out in that unmistakable analogue heavy style.
Released on Limited Edition single sided 10" Vinyl with Hand Screen Printed dual colour (black & white) 3mm spined reverse board matte sleeves + black paper inners.

This EP Brings the hugely popular Future Primitives back catalogue to life, with a group of 4 classic piano workouts, including Infect Me and Twinkie, two of the early break out releases on Kniteforce Records, as well as the original mix of Swift Half, that was later remixed to great effect by Vibes & Wishdokta - look for that version on a future JKF EP!

This was the fifth in the JKF run of repressing old Kniteforce material, after sourcing it directly from DAT and having it lovingly remastered. Originally, these EPs were released in tiny numbers through a single online store, so have become quite sought after and already change hands second hand for ridiculous sums. This EP was even more popular than the previous four, as it contains 1 never released track, 2 tracks never before seen on vinyl, and all of the tracks are very rare and hard to get hold of. The Cru-l-t track 'Don't Be Afraid was made for a release on Moving Shadow which sadly never happened due to circumstances out of anyone's control. The Alk-e-d track was cut on a test press, but then the tracks changed and that was lost to time. And the final 2 tracks, The Nasenbluten remix of Luna-C and A Theif A Terrorist and a Lunatic were only available on obscure labels and in minimal numbers!

Eveson aka Dead Man's Chest returns after the massive 'Dreamscapes EP' touched down late last year.
Having delved through the archives of 1993-94 jungle, he continues with arguably better results. His magic of re-creating that old aesthetic but turning it into his own will be hard to match. Nautilus EP sets about its business with the summery Jungle contagion of Liquid '94. This bracingly organic roller crackles with a gloriously warm old skool timbre; shooting from the hip with a bounty of ocean deep breaks, retro pads, and blissed-out instrumentation. Juxtaposed with the crisp contagion of the vocal hook; this sun-soaked number erupts into a shimmering crescendo of rhapsodic drum flourishes and soundclash style elements, atop a swell of rumbling low passed reese bass and winding bittersweet synths.

Originally, these were released in tiny numbers through a single online store, so have become quite sought after and already change hands second hand for ridiculous sums. This EP contains 4 Luna-C tracks from the early Kniteforce era, and includes the seminal classic 'Piano Progression' in all its original glory!

Dutch master FFF (Criterion, Myor, Diamond Life, Planet Mu, PRSPCT RVLT amongst many others) returns to 7th Storey Projects with his first fully solo EP on the label following on from the success of the 2017 Double Dragon EP (in conjunction with Coco Bryce).

The EP opens up with the gloriously uplifting 'Never Give Up (The Vibes)', with it's pitched up vocals, huge oscillating riffs and frenetic drumwork - Tommy shows once again he can flip his hand to any style.

Backed up with the deep and rolling 'Heart' and the dark and deadly amenistic smasher 'Evolved As One' on the B-side, we're immensely proud and honoured to have FFF back on 7th Storey.

Digital releases his second LP within 2 years entitled "Total Control". It's not a massive collab fest like his 2016 LP 'Synthesis' although, there's a few on there with artists Nomine, John B, Villem and Digital's Phantom Audio partner, Spirit. A strong Jungle vibe runs right through this LP. The opening track, 'Motherland' has crisp breaks, a bassline to die for and a haunting unforgettable vocal. Other highlights are Seba's lush remix of Digital & Response's, 'Silver Lining'. 'On The Rockz' sounds like a solid piece of 1998 drum and bass, 'Total Control' is superb and certainly one for the hardcore ravers, 'Dreamer' takes you on a journey you've never been before. Early support includes: Storm, Randall, Goldie, Klute, Jumping Jack Frost, Spirit, Nomine, Double O & Mantra.

"Zed Bias is an electronic music pioneer, throughout his career he has traversed genres with ease whilst all the while retaining his signature sound.

It was in 2016 that he debuted on Exit Records with a three tracker featuring Zoe Violet, the release was a sign of things to come. Modern U.K. soul delivered in the 160bpm format, this aesthetic has now been developed with the Different Response album.

It's the sound of Zed Bias in 2017, undeniable soul with one eye on the dancefloor. He's gathered a formidable feature list to voice the album- artists from his native Manchester and beyond all lend their talents to the album.

Label owner dBridge says of the release: An LP that fits perfectly in what I believe Exit is about. Artists creating music with soul and a sound uniquely their own. Zed has shown again what's possible when you listen to your own voice'

3 remixes from 3 masters from the indie sound system culture from England : One Ragga Tek, one Ragga Hip Hop and one BalkanTribe remix. Massive party time at Irritant.

* A brand new, debut EP from a formidable talent, Sunny & Deck Hussy bring the authentic Old Skool hardcore sound back and do it right. All 4 tracks on this EP show both versatility and innovation, while continuing Knitebreeds mission to bring new artist to the forefront of the burgeoning new 'old' rave scene. All 4 tracks are deceptively simple, but do the damage where it counts - on the dance floor or loud at home. Having completed this EP, they were asked by Pete Cannon to remix a track from his top selling N4 EP, and you can be sure you will be hearing more from this dynamic duo

Mark Archer aka DJ Nex returns to Music Mondays for a limited edition, bespoke, shrink wrapped, collector's item, triple pack vinyl album of his legendry DJ Nex EP's.

Originally released in 1992 and 1993 The Nex EP and Poundstretcher EP have become incredibly sort after on vinyl. However, The Poundstretcher EP was always cut to low with 4 tracks aside. We are now taking both EP's and remastering them to 3 loud pieces of vinyl.

The sleeve will be a specially designed piece of art just for this project, while the label on the 3 records will represent the original releases, keeping that authentic DJ Nex vibe!!!

Two slices of positive, uplifting breakbeat science with trouser-flapping basslines, these tunes leave all the moodiness on the cutting room floor and set phasers firmly to "fun".

"Soundboy Don't Push Your Luck" fires a full can of butane across a lit zippo aimed skyward for one of the most startlingly rude amen-jungle compositions since way back when pattern Moschino and champagne were the order of the day. A junglewarz classic for the heads who know.

"368 Ft And Rising" is an intricate concoction of R&B flavours, funk stabs, ragga vocals and a bumpy street level groove that sounds like very early Philly Blunt being squeezed through a garlic crusher.

8205 Recordings is back in 2018 with more previously unreleased gems from the heyday of hardcore/jungle. This time around, it's back to 93 with four tracks of serious darkness from DJ Wax, a well known DJ/producer of the time responsible for the classic tune "Moments So Dark". "Lostwax EP" features two freshly unearthed tracks which have never been heard before in any form: the moody-yet-uplifting "808 Darkness Pt2", and the absolutely relentless "Thunderbirds Are Go". Also included is a previously unreleased remix of a track off DJ Wax's Darkwax EP, here titled "Not For Sale". Finally, for those without the original, a freshly remastered version of 'Moments So Dark' is included, as played back in the day by Grooverider, Ray Keith, DJ Ratty, Simon Bassline Smith, and many more hc/jungle dons.

* It is with a huge amount of pride and happiness that I get to welcome legendary producer and all round good egg Liquid to the label. If Liquid needs an introduction, I have to wonder what you are doing here Seriously though, he has brought an absolutely amazing EP of four brilliant tracks to the label. The Truth is classic Liquid piano anthem style, like a modern version of 'Sweet Harmony'. KEX and Phormocide lean into old skool from various eras, and Dope Sick rounds the EP off with a futuristic retro amen workout, easily one of my favorite tunes since Kniteforce restarted as a vinyl label. This EP is the bizniz basically. Do not miss.....

"7th Storey Projects goes deep into the archives again and is very proud to present it's latest offering - an official repress of one of the nastiest, darkest, hardest and most sought-after Jungle Hardcore releases around. Jungle Buddha - The Green Buddha EP.

Made in a bedroom in darkest London town circa late 1992 by Mark Loy (Jungle Buddha), this EP has become known as a something of an influential precursor to the dark and gritty 'darkcore' sound that became prevalent in the rave scene in 1993.

Featuring three tracks of nasty, dark crunchy breakbeat hardcore, only veering off temporarily to offer the equally dark hardcore techno-styled 'Psalm IV', this EP is not for the faint of heart.

With originals scarce and reaching resale prices of up to £200 on the second-hand market, the track on this release have been taken directly from the DAT masters, given some loving restoration treatment by Kieran Alexis at Simpatico Mastering and finally remastered and cut by the marvellous Beau Thomas at Ten Eight Seven Mastering - these low-fi gems have been given a new lease of life!
Pressed by Optimal:Media GMBH in Germany on 140g black vinyl.

Echo Chamber Sound 004 is one for the collectors. This is the first clear vinyl release on the label and comes with two extra special jungle riddims.

Side one sees Sekkleman & LQ join forces to build a tuff amen and soul pride combination roller called Junglist Rock. This tune draws inspiration from JA soundclash culture and mid 90s golden era jungle but in a modern style. Check the 3 bass switches and 'The note of doom' which hits midway through the tune.

Side two features a remix of LQ's track Time Is Runnin' from new producer, Relative who has taken the mid 90s vibe of the original and brought it bang up to date. Relative combines precise breakbeat edits, bass switches and a sonic palette that has roots firmly in the original jungle sound to create a uniquely forward thinking piece of music.
