Recursive Infinity is the new chapter in Rémi Gallego’s The Algorithm, a relentless sonic exploration of the chaotic fusion of metal and electronic music.


The album blurs the boundaries between machine logic and human emotion. Each track unfolds like a program caught in an endless loop, rising, fracturing, and recombining with mathematical precision.

Compiling the follow-up to a very successful first album is always a tricky task, but just 12 months since the release of volume one in the 'With Love' series, miche has excelled himself once again with another glorious, deep dive into the world of rare soul. 15 tracks of independently released music, created by magnificent artists with stories to tell and primed for rediscovery.

The ambition to celebrate under-the-radar artists has remained, but instead of a facsimile of volume one, what we have here is a selection shaped by life changes. Volume two is for the dancers; still soulful, still ultra-rare and slept-on records from the USA, Chile, Brazil and beyond, but the dynamics of the collection have shifted slightly. It represents a move from being immersed in a week in week out environment of beautiful, soulful music in a cosy, dimly lit hi-fi bar to playing livelier, more energetic, dancefloor-focused music in nightclubs. This volume will get you on your feet, make you move and unleash whatever it is that makes you get down.

One of the jewels in the crown of this compilation is a joyous, anthemic gospel version of Stevie Wonder's 'As' by The Family Tree (a project produced by the fantastic Julius Brockington). We are also treated to a rare and sought-after Pennsylvanian funk / AOR bomb by Maxwell, a stunning modern soul tune 'High On You' by Freedom, and self-released Brazilian 45s by Banda 22 and Zé Da Lata. P.J. City's 'Straight Forward (Non-Stop)' is gospel-disco perfection, and we also have 'Dame Solamente Amor’, a sublime, soul beauty from Chile by Rogers Mitchell. Many of these artists featured in this compilation aren't household names, but they deserve their moment to shine, to be heard, loved and appreciated for their artistry.

The friendship between Sarah Jane Morris and Mario Biondi is the basis of this collaboration, born from the desire to pay homage to Roberta Flack. The idea, proposed by Sarah Jane, to reinterpret "Back Together Again" was born a few months before the death of the famous American singer. The original song, published in 1980 on the album "Roberta Flack Featuring Donny Hathaway", included the posthumous participation of Donny Hathaway, who died in 1979. Mario Biondi enthusiastically welcomed the proposal, and considering that the original song had a strong dance component, entrusted the production to Micky More & Andy Tee, one of the most important Soulful Disco House production teams on the contemporary world scene. Parallelle & Nicolas Masseyeff return to Crosstown Rebels with dynamic new EP, ‘Shake It Out’. The trio deliver their third collaborative release on the label on 18th July 2025, backed by a standout remix from Airrica.

Following their acclaimed collaborations ‘Renegade’ in 2023 and ‘Surrender’ in 2024, Parallelle and Nicolas Masseyeff return to Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels with a third instalment of their evolving partnership on the imprint. Titled ‘Shake It Out’, the release arrives in the heart of summer and showcases two original productions from the Dutch-French trio, alongside a vibrant remix from US rising star Airrica.

Crafted over several years, each track weaves together influences from Norwegian woods, mythology, and layered electronic soundscapes. After careful consideration, Black Angus Records has changed its name to BKA Records – short for ""Beats Kickin' Again."" The label relaunches with an EP that fully reflects its roots: four impactful tracks by Italian artists who are now well established in the international house music scene. The first track comes from DJ Soch, founder of the label. It's marked by a powerful beat, driving bassline, and a flowing synth solo that builds tension and energy, aiming straight for the dancefloor. Next is Issam Dahmani, a young DJ and producer, now also a partner in the label, with a warm, full-bodied track that in some sections recalls the sonic approach of Kerri Chandler. A track that's hard not to play. B1 is out before GTA VI, but it could've been in the soundtrack if the game was actually happening between Los Santos and Marseille.G-funk with the Alpyren touch: for the floor, a tune that will make you sway. Broken beats, almost broken legs.

B2 is the freaky one of the bunch: starts with the gloomy sound signature of the duo, but we're back with more 80's inspirations.Darker synth pop with a twist: you end up following the kick with the head bobbing in sync, while all the FX sounds bring to the track this extra spice.

Tokyo producer Yusuke Iguchi aka RGL makes his long-form debut with Touzan, an album that expands on the soulful, groove-rich sound introduced on his inaugural EPs for Breaker Breaker.

Named after the Kawagoe Tōzan fabric woven by Iguchi’s mother and featured on the artwork, the record weaves together house, hip-hop and jazz-tinged textures into RGL’s most distinctive statement yet - a deeply crafted vision of modern Japanese house music.

Fossils welcomes Alek Lee, who has previously dropped a great album on Antinote, for a debut outing that finds him leaning into his more clubby sounds, but without sacrificing any of his signature musical personality and rhythm inventiveness. The title cut opens with swooning strings and funky bass for a chord-laced and uplifting, playful sound. 'The Valley' is more soulful house with a breezy synth vibe, and 'Elmalmale' gets more down and deep with grittier textures, while weird vocals drift in and out to lend it a leftfield edge. 'Wings' combines dub, Balearic and hints of New Age into another supple and singular sound.

A fresh take on the 2020 gem from Alex Attias featuring Georgia Anne Muldrow and Kid K. This latest release brings three dynamic remixes from the mighty Kaidi Tatham, Stephane Attias, and El Mustang, each crafted for distinct moments on the dance floor.
Kaidi Tatham delivers a vibrant boogie-infused rework bursting with soulful energy. A joyful, groove-heavy ride that’s already a favorite here at Visions.
Stephane Attias steps in with a deep house interpretation, dubbed out and laced with hypnotic vocal touches and slick keys courtesy of Sean McCabe. On the flipside Chicago’s modern answer to Sun RA , Jamal Moss, brings the listener to an astral ceremony with ‘An Astronomical Object’. Another crucial moment in Hieroglyphic Being’s breathtaking discography.

Upfront business from London’s Baby Rollén. Kaleidoscope EP is a club ready four-tracker exploring a fusion of sounds from the dazzling arps of the title track, to the groovy bassline pulse throughout Nerve Glider.

Hitting hard on the A1 with Psychology which takes equal measure from early Detroit techno and fuses with the steadily popular Baby Rollén blueprint of contrasting pads and melodies. Voodoo combines influences of jungle with euphoric piano hooks, scattering throughout an extended arrangement.

And if you count the gap since boss axis' last release one thing
is immediately clear: when its about years, this is not just
"good" - its awesome! The titletrack "goliath" on the A side isn't
just named like a giant - with the huge break of 2mins in the
middle and the catchy melodic bassline it's a perfect peaktimemonster to burn down nearly every danceoor. "Goliath" also
gets a new dress by northern germanys Rauschhaus who
already releases on Traum Schallplatten or Paul Hazendonk´s
Manual Music. And this dress seems to be a short and breezy
summer-wear with openair-character. On the B side you'll nd
the dreamy "lost bridge" wich don't has to hide from the A side.
We don't know wich bridge they mean, but if everything what
they lose sounds like this techhouse-styled and groovy
dancetrack, we hope they lose some more... Last but not least
"the secret": with a classic sample wich is already used in a
classic early 90s ravetrack from suspicious the massive break
climbs to the top to explode with a stompy kickdrum and let
move every feet around the globe.

Adeen Records hits a quarter of a century of releases with two of Italy's finest talents reimagining Collecttivo Immaginario's jazz-tinged gem 'Aperture' through a club-centric lens. Label regular Nico Lahs transforms the original into a peak-time weapon layered with stacked drums and deep basslines while smartly preserving its soulful core. On the B-side, New Digital Fidelity delivers a groove-heavy interpretation that retains the jazz essence while adding a hypnotic rhythmic drive perfect for deeper sets. This record is like the lost crown jewels of House Music with a story that spans decades. Originally programmed in 1998 on an Akai S3000XL, this was meant to be released on Bjørn Torske's Footnotes in 2001. Unfortunately the original matrix and the master DAT tapes got lost under crazy circumstances. Yet several years later the tapes were found by Sex Tags Mania in the studio of mastering engineer Helmut Erler and the record eventually got issued in 2009 when a totally different House sound was "en vogue." Then due to some unfortunate coincidences most of the records ended up in far flung Japan, and so this record stayed totally underground. Yet it became a cult hit when House Music and later Disco got a proper revival around 2010/11. So over the years prices for this rarity were rising and rising... Then fast forward to 2025: after a sunny day off Berlin's modular synthesizer show "Superbooth" ATJ boss Mr. Fonk and Doc L. Junior teamed up to finally reissue this gem with new masters by Andreas Kauffelt of "Schnittstelle" / Berlin. On this 12“ Norwegian Disco and Balearic sounds meet: funky but deep to the core, playful but hypnotic, stripped down but with baroque details. Truly one of House Music's greatest productions.

dungeon acid review 25-09-03 by Joakim Cosmo A acid house style EP by swedish acid techno pioneer on swedens oldest underground label? Making a acid house EP in 2025 that makes a difference is a challenging task but this one just nails it. Here you see a softer and more musical side of Dungeon Acid in the shape of 5 dark yet hopeful Acid House tracks. Despite the classic form and ingredients it somehow avoids feeling retro but I guess this is what happens when you let a true grand master do it combined with a selector and label boss beyond the ordinary. It's like a paralell universe version of what Acid House could have become, and its a beautiful vision. A1-101-303 starts off with a dreamy, moody dubby and slightly romantic track that is just utterly beautiful in all its simplicity. The elegance and easy touch strikes me instantly. Nails the essence of the genre. One more like this and im buying it. The way A2-Unlock rewind builds up gives me goosebumps. So hypnotic and dark and experimental and the way it progresses to the ravey chord-break. The sounds and effects and details feel so alive and on the fly. In the record store this is where id already go "ok, im having this one" B1-Lonely Acid boy is yet another simple yet super atmospheric track. The contrasts between the rough robotic parts and the jazzy live solos ontop just gets to me. The roughness in the mix, that second beat with the hi-hats and extra bass, the fact that its so loud and sudden, is just great. And then we get to B2-Shnukki and all of a sudden, a romantic melodious electro track with a asian touch and acid bassline, that somehow goes well together with the other tracks. This one isnt my favourite or what I would buy the record for, but it would probably be the one I discover years later. Typical Borft Records to think that far ahead. The EP ends with B3-Chiliflex BB come on and this one starts with more late 80's ravey chords but the further you get into the track the more disharmonic, tweaky and punky it becomes. Things dont really fit together yet they do. To sum it up, these tracks are raw, funky, gutsy, streety, visionary, full of contrast and a bit challenging, just like acid house should be, but often isnt. I think Dungeon Acid and Borft Records nails it here. I'd buy doubles of this.

Twookie aka the baddest talking tucan around, is here to bring the funk back! Gerald Mitchell and his L'lambourghini Crew return on Mother Tongue with another funk-fuelled project. A real who's who of Detroit finest players including Pirahnahead, Billy Love, Duminie Deporres, Mark Anthony and the Mitchell brothers are here jamming and bringing you that classic "D" Parliament sound. The A side sees the epic story of Twookie Wonder Brown, while on the flipside it's time for a revamped/re-thought version of "Celebrity Bbq Sauce".

Into Records, the new R.A.N.D. Muzik sublabel focussed on
music in the minimal, tech house presents their rst EP from
Greek producer, Grush.

Much deserved, remastered reissue of ‘We Are I.E.’ by Lennie De Ice, arguably the first proto jungle tune, now coming correct with fresh remixes from Solo & Blades alongside Borai, as well as the sought-after Horsepower Productions remix.

Released in 1991 on I.E. Records, an imprint based out of De Underground Records, a store in London’s Forest Gate run by Mike De Underground alongside Uncle 22 and Randall, it famously featured elements that paved the way for the Jungle sound. Centered around the Amen break, ragga style basslines, vinyl spinbacks and gun shot samples, it stood out as something different back in ’91, A certified classic, rinsed on dancefloors everywhere and anywhere, from back in the day to the present.

Solo & Blades are the first of the new versions, hitting hard with a heavyweight jungle remix, as Borai steps up with a beefy bassline rework. Horsepower Productions killer and sought after remix rounds off the package.

resistance and deep ignition, capturing that elusive point where control slips and instinct takes over.

Ixona ist das zweite Album des Chicagoer Komponisten Conor Mackey unter seinem Pseudonym Lynyn. Lynyns meisterhafte instrumentale Elektronikkompositionen, die hauptsächlich mit Hardware erstellt wurden, greifen auf eine Vielzahl von Einflüssen zurück, darunter Drum and Bass, Dub-Techno und Acid, und tauchen den Hörer in eine Umgebung ein, die sowohl weitläufig als auch überraschend intim ist. Während komplexe Breakbeats durch körnige Texturen und pointillistische Schwärme huschen, entsteht dieser Ort, der kein Ort ist, und erstrahlt. Singaporean label Darker Than Wax brings us to Texas with a fresh 12” from Houston-born producer Oye Manny. Following his release on Salon Recordings, Oye Manny has carved out a lane defined by deep rhythms, Latin roots, and pure authenticity, an ethos he continues to distill into sound on his new record Living Water. Drawing on his Colombian roots and keenly focused on what makes dancers move, Manny puts percussion at the forefront on Living Water – from the chord driven house stompers ‘Malta Sip’ and ‘Palmira’ on the A side, to the darker club tones of ‘Visaje’ and the slick musicality of ‘Youthful Expression ‘ on the flip, drums play a starring role. Completing the package is a remix from Singapore-based producer and Darker Than Wax core member Dexter Colt, providing a deeper, Chicago-inspired take on ‘Malta Sip’.
