Echte Ostfunk Klassiker eben!
The combination of electrogrooves and wind instruments makes the Berlin sound 2012.
Trompa lets the trumpet kick, Clarinetta is - surprisingly - dominated by the clarinet. Both tracks and their remixes are massive floorfillers and celebrated party anthems either of the Ostfunk events and the Berlin Summer Rave with ist 22000 guests.
Real Ostfunk Classics - so what!

repressed !! The song BARBRA STREISAND of the New Yorkers house duo DUCK SAUCE is a dedication to the famous actress. DUCK SAUCE is a collaboration between A-Track and Armand van Helden and in the official video you will find a lot of well-known bigwigs. With the famouns Boney M. sample (originally nighttrain - hallo bimmelbahn) and catchy sounds BARBRA STREISAND is a track, which is much coolerthan you suggest from the name!!

Humberto Matias, AKA Social Disco Club, has proven time and time again that his devotion to disco, in all its manifestations, knows no bounds. With releases on labels from the four corners of the globe the sound he produces is established to a level akin to perfection.
For the eighth release on the Gold offshoot of the Hands of Time imprint we are treated to two re-versions of at once recognisable but near indecipherable disco classics. Side A majors on an infectious conga infused repetitive funk break that's been supported by Erol Alkan amongst others whilst Side B offers a sound closer to a classic house sound from around the turn of the century. Both are tension builders that ultimately shoot their load with explosive results.

In 1993 in the depths of Detroit, Lou Robinson of Scan 7(Underground Resistance) and Vernall Shelton released Scattered Thoughts on the Trouble Worlds EP on their own 'Direct Hit' imprint.
Deep, thought provoking and out of worldly with a bit of an industrial, electro groove. This amazing song flew under the radar back then in the techno scene. Even missing the old Sonic Groove's store shelf. A rare mishap when it came to the now defunct shop and Detroit techno music. After a bit of recent research at the Sonic Groove office it was evident that this great piece of timeless techno music was slept on by most from the past to the present. Here, 20 years later, Sonic Groove seeks out to breathe new life into this masterpiece of a song and give it the justice that it deserves of reaching more ears. On this release you will find the original mix, remastered, plus a rare remix appearance from Traversable Wormhole who adds his distinct style to the track. The mastering done on this release is by legendary EBM and Industrial music pioneer Eric Van Wonterghem (Absolute Body Control, original member of Klinik, Monolith). Enjoy!

One of the few electronic producers that truly transcend the boundaries that constrain many of his peers, Henrik Schwarz is an artist in the truest sense of the word and House Masters Henrik Schwarz is his legacy. Comprising 20 of his exquisite productions and remixes, the compilation boasts timeless masterpieces including his remixes of Detroit Experiment 'Think Twice', Code 718 'Equinox' and Omar feat. Stevie Wonder 'I'm Feeling You', as well as his own 'Leave My Head Alone Brain' and 'Take Words in Return'.
For the vast majority of his career, Schwarz's focus has been on the creation and performance of electronic music, during which time he has become an integral part of the Innervisions crew alongside fellow revered artists Dixon and Ame. Without question one of the most devoted electronic artists of his time, Schwarz is now revered as a truly unique talent, a fact that is exemplified by one of the strongest collections of music in the acclaimed House Masters series.
'I have felt total freedom in electronic music because the 4/4, for me, is the bridge into the unknown in a way: you can do anything in between two bass drums, and they hold it together. You can do the craziest sound and put a bass drum there and everyone loves it.' Henrik Schwarz
House Masters Henrik Schwarz is a hand-picked selection of tracks and remixes from his peerless vault, with Schwarz given complete freedom to include those records he believes best represent his career in electronic music.
Picking out highlights from a track list as sublime as this seems churlish, but there are a few records that deserve special mention. His remix of Coldcut featuring Robert Owens 'Walk A Mile In My Shoes' - which went on to be one of the biggest club hits of 2006 - is breathtaking, while 'Leave My Head Alone Brain' bridged the gap between jazz and techno with more assurance than anyone had managed before or since. Equally impressive is his version of Ane Brun's 'Headphone Silence', his first record from outside of the 'dance' world and one that has become an undoubted favourite over the last few years.
Ultimately, words can only do so much justice to music of this calibre, so if you're looking for the only definite collection from a master of his trade you need look no further.
House Masters Henrik Schwarz is the 20th edition in the long-running House Masters series which has seen releases celebrating the work of Louie Vega, Dennis Ferrer, Charles Webster and many more.

Julio delivers another peak time track. First release on his own label is a hybrid between Uk garage basslines, vocal samples, and a steady chicago-ish bouncy house groove combined with the effective drops to get them hands up.
