House Vinyl New Releases - News

In these strange and uncertain times we find ourselves even more eager to release new music by Luv Shack Records’ core artists. During some very sunny and inspiring recording sessions last Summer Luv Shack´s own Lee Stevens and musical brain Martin Arnold teamed up to form a new band, channeling the legendary spirit of the 90s Downbeat sound of Vienna. After having written a bunch of tracks it seemed a logical step to involve more friends and musicians into their project. Lee´s long term classmate and bass player Pheech could not be asked twice and joined the jams as well as singer Myla and other fellows, so that the full ensemble now consists of bass, flute, guitar, sax an of course Lee´s amazing collection of analog gear and samples. The “Come With Me EP” comes with four original songs exploring various tropes of jazz infused electronica, plus two remixes by austrian artists Oberst & Buchner and Lukas Poellauer.

Leeds based TOROM brings some immaculate fourth world chugging beats - a tight concoction of the primitive and the futuristic - tied together for both the dance-floor and at home listening. A real journey into sound and a must have for any avid DJ or listener.

Berlin´s Hype label Superfett Records keeps on riding the wave.
And serves with Superfett Sound Selection Vol. 2 another excellent mini compilation.

Heavy support from Claptone, Carl Cox, Loco Dice, Marco Carola, Mark Knight, Roger Sanchez, Danny Howard, Annie Mac and many more!

Over a period of seventeen years, Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels has evolved into a world-renowned institution, garnering global audiences thanks to a consistent schedule of quality releases. Quintessential to the label’s success is the Spirits series, with each edition acting as a musical bastion to showcase the talents of both established and breakthrough artists alike. Now, after much anticipation, the world-renowned compilation will see the light of day once more in the form of Spirits IV, the fourth instalment in Spirits’ ever-evolving saga. The A-side kicks off with Alex Kennon and Pete Tong’s Apache with a stirring intensity, gently winding between spirit-infused vocals and resonant kick-hat combos. Swiftly followed by Crosstown Rebels regular Made By Pete making his Spirits debut with a tribal-laced mystic number in the form of Harar.

The B-side features I See Colour, the latest collaboration from UK-native Luke Brancaccio and long-standing production partner Cypherpunx. Whilst Martin Badder and Pablo:Rita’s stunning collaboration, Phase, soon arrives in its place, rippling with a gentle lucidity thanks to a subtle four-four bassline and mesmeric singing tones.

Matador’s Vultur is up next, a straight-talking dancefloor cut that showcases the Rukus-founder at his best, whilst veteran German producer DJ Linus gives us the penultimate track on Vibes In Space. Indicative of the track’s progression, we are taken on a celestial journey through starry-eyed synths and soft whispering hats.

Echoe-founder Francesca Lombardo showcases her decade-long production experience in Freak On Sea, providing a dubby-leaning club cut that features progressive key changes throughout before ANTS regular Andrea Oliva takes no prisoners on Rawman, serving up a near six-minute cut of pummeling kicks that build into a brooding synth-fuelled crescendo.

The Pack contains 12" Vinyl + CD Album
This is the sampler of the Affkt new album 'Son of A Thousand Sounds' to be released by Sincopat. It includes collaborations with Upercent, Piek and Sutja Gutierrez.

Lauer always rhymes with 'Power'. Proven by countless remixes, productions and projects like Arto Mwambe, Black Spuma, Talamanca System or Tuff City Kids and - naturally - his own-brand. There aren't many dance floors left that haven't been blessed by all this glory. Now, the aptly titled third album of Frankfurt's prime export regarding all things melodic, teenaged and synthesized, intensifies, condenses and hones the sound, he has been developing for years: a topical take on classic dance and 80ies pop figures, disco music in a closet (Lauer is still in denial), singing arpeggios, android choirs, beautiful bass lines and sometimes the apparitional architecture of house music. Neatly placed on one piece of vinyl, 'Power' collects nine tracks resp. songs that follow these roads. Expertly produced, recorded on high-end tape and complemented with intricate songwriting, Running Back is proud to present his magnum opus. 'Power' is vintage Lauer. Like his attic - Pyramide Studio 2 for those who know - where a vast synthesizer collection from the days of yore and tomorrow meets other digital dinosaurs and analog Aphrodites, it showcases a sanguine, punky and vivid DIY-aesthetic that isn't too far from a garage band turned into a one-man-orchestra. Glazed with two songs featuring the vocal talents of Jasnau (Mirrors and the Poeponymous Power) Power), that sentiment is consolidated. Music to dance to and to romance to.

German duo Raumakustik are next up on Hot Creations with Animal / Waves, a stunning two track release that features a re-edit from label frontman Jamie Jones.

Animal starts proceedings, as a bouncing reverberating kick gives way to a synth-filled build up. An echoing vocal sample states “acid feel”, before hitting once again with a choppy, swinging bassline. Next up, Jamie Jones delivers a re-edit of Waves, featuring tinny hi-hats, hollow pops and a bouncing arcade build up that is guaranteed to cause a stir on any dancefloor.

Having released their Raider EP on sub-label Hot Trax and Dem A Pree on Emerald City, Raumakustik make their first appearance on Hot Creations. Respected producers in the house and techno scenes, they have also released on the likes of Suara, Toolroom and Microtonal Records. Jamie Jones is someone who needs little introduction. Founder of Hot Creations as well as the Paradise event series, there are few feats left for the Welshman to conquer. Countless esteemed releases coupled with a passion-lead vision have seen Jones become a true master of his craft.

A soundtrack to the scene is like a wind to a dream.

How to make a vision reality? No one person can accomplish much alone, so how do we organize when the idea is so liquid?

Three songs crafted for better city living. Life inside, through the streets and alleyways, never forgetting to get up and out into the unknown.

Bienvenue Recordings is thrilled to introduce these songs from the mind of Gabriel Rei...a look into his experience with our city, what it has to offer, and all that it can be. May these rhythms & melodies accompany you on walks through the wild, in dreams, with footsteps on the dance floor.

Part 2 of our exclusive vinyl-only special series by the mysterious black-belt ninja 黒舌 is out today! Sick grooves in a limited hand-stamped die-cut sleeve, for club vinyl freaks all indoors :)

Boston's Dana Kelley aka Callisto is a man whose music has long been the subject of much deserved adulation. A student of the deep and soulful, an explorer of the melodic and galactic, and an artist who manages to capture imaginations with his supremely crafted sonics. He is a much missed artist, someone who departed the physical too early, but the body of work he left behind has spoken to generations of listeners, DJ's and fans in equal measure.

This, the first of 3 compilations based around his golden period of productions for the legendary Chicago label Guidance Recordings, sees some of Dana's most highly coveted work featured side by side, all together in one place. A celebration of the man's music, his vision and the forward looking nature of his music that is still intact today. It's hard to think of someone with a more unique style and with a truer idea of their own sound-world. Callisto takes us deep inside, into other worlds with his own individualistic take on house, techno, ambient and even jungle and D&B.

These compilations celebrate one of the most idiosyncratic artists from the second wave of US house music producers, a truly essential body of work presented here respectfully, sourced from all audio sources courtesy of Above Board Projects, Guidance Recordings and Dana's family. Mastered by Curved, London and with special artwork by Atelier Superplus featuring a never before seen image of Dana from his family's photo albums.

Entrepôt Records welcome Flaze. Original member of Ruff Stuff, the Italian DJ & Producer is now pursuing a solo career. This EP marks his debut effort as a solo artist. While the A-side focuses on infectious deep house grooves, the B-side adds some soul and disco to the deepness.

180g Vinyl // Vinyl Only // Blue Vinyl

German label Bondage Music delivers the six instalment of its ‘Bondage Games’ series. Another vinyl only release, this time with four fresh tracks from Markus Homm, Andre Kronert, Pornbugs and Dust Yard.

STRWB003 Brings you 4 floorfillers from York up and comer Pinder alongside Fraise representatives,

Apalis Duo are questioning your Christmas party. You might have seen people going crazy in December and perhaps even your family was in a anic about this seasonal event. Illusions, illusions, illusions and big commercial interests. What has happened to the fest of love, who sold it for the price of humanity How can we enjoy something that is otherwise responsible for so much suffering Especially in winter, when it's cold and some of
us are feeling numb and frozen, there should be a warming flame that holds us together and shows that we care.
Amselcom was touched by the beauty of this song after meeting with Apalis Duo, and together we are celebrating peace and love for as deeply as we have experienced the meaning of these words. But there is still so much to do, true compassion and caring is needed, please don't stop sharing your love with the world and the people who need it. Always remember that joy multiplies when it is divided.

We’re proud to welcome Robert Owens and Queer On Acid to Takeout, who present a ‘double-A side’ release. 2 sublime pieces of vocal-house and techno which will make the hairs stand up on the back of your neck.

Robert’s hypnotic vocals weave between QoA’s beautiful production with both tracks enticing remixes from none other than in demand Fear-E, Polymod and MASC (Mark Archer & Shadow Child).

The music does the talking here, and with a limited vinyl run (which excludes the MASC remix) to support a huge digital package, we’re excited to have such quality on the new label.

Enjoy !

Alfa Romero’s combination of hardware synthesizers and modular systems creates a powerful and organic sound which translates to a unique aural feeling. The title track ‘1001 Nights’ is a prime example, an emotive melody suspended above a spacious techno framework. The formula heads further into a trippy, euphoric headspace (‘Learning To Fly’), offers serene moments of ambience and dreamy arpeggios (‘Moonlight Tide’’). The Italian duo have a gift for making synths sing in harmony and flicker between the beats. A profound musicianship which shines throughout this record, making each track standing out in distinctive ways.

Caleto Records presents second only vinyl release ! This time you can hear tracks from two talented producers Harre and Alex Dittrich! Apart from the originals, we have great remixes for you from Arkady Antsyrev (Inermu, Bondage), Mr.Fowks (Whoyostro, Bla Bla) and Cosenza (Relikt, House.On.Wax)

The Silver Rider serves up his first full EP for the Whiskey Disco/Lovedancing family and it's as smooth as you would expect.

Butter smooth filtered disco guitar licks, superbly low slung bass sitting snug alongside delayed vocals and chords, all wrapped in crisp drum machine beats.

Modern disco house with a touch of class you'd expect from The Silver Rider.

Limited to 500 , hand numbered

Debut release from AREAMAN CHICAGO featuring four tracks of club burning house inspired by the underground sound of the future. 3 mixes for creative DJ functionality and a special 4th track to blast your dance party into an ecstatic apex. When Times Are In Need For The Fresh Air Of Kindness, Reach For This Cozy Debut Ep By Multi-instrumentalist, Nikki Nair.

Kelli Hand has long been at the front of Detroit House and Techno as a DJ and as a producer, in the past she has collaborated and released music with Claude Young, Robert Hood, Mike Banks and many more and her own Acacia Records label has released a long string of essential 12"s since it's 1990 inception. "Tools Vol.1" was released in 2002 and features 4 solid cuts from Kelli who is in full-on House mode. This EP is definitely for the DJ's, with each track being a real joy to blend in and out of the mix, you might even need 2 copies of this one!

On side-A opener "My Love" is a stomping, stripped back, peak-time killer that's all heavy drums, trippy synth sounds and a lusty female voice while second track "Without You" is a smoothed-out vocal cut with rough beats, a rolling Disco leaning bass-line and some slick horns. On side-B we have "Remember When", an epic, string laden banger that builds and builds, getting heavier and more rhythmic as the track progresses. Finishing out the EP is "Want U Back" a pacey, organ driven 90's vibing House jam laced with vocals and samples, big room business!

This elusive EP has been tough to track down in the past, and we are proud to make it available again, re-mastered, re-pressed and re-released in conjunction with Kelli and Acacia Records Detroit.

The "Project 5 EP" is an absolutely critical piece of underground House from Kelli Hand, The undisputed "first lady" of Detroit House / Techno.

Having changed hands for substantial sums of money on-line over the years, this is the first time the EP has been repressed on wax and made widely available much to the joy of dance music lovers and Detroit fanatics worldwide.

Re-pressed and re-mastered in conjunction with Kelli Hand and with the original Acacia Records artwork intact, this is an unmissable re-release of a record that has stood the test of time and will continue to rock dance-floors well into the future.

"Music from a well known place to an unknown destination..."

Marvin & Guy and Dj Tennis are back with the fourth volume of their Life of Marvin imprint after the infamous repress from Roby J, Sick Hardcore (aka Gabry Fasano) and Model Citizen on the first 2 volumes, real pieces of art in the Dance music produced in the early 90s from these Italian legends, originally released on Franco Falsini’s Interactive Test record label, and after Dj Miki’s outstanding full dedicated EP in 2018.

On this 4th installment we can see the return of Miki with the track “Templares” (TEMPorary Low Audible RESonance) together, for the very first time even if they are colleagues and friends since 30 years, with another heavyweight better known as Francesco Farfa with the track “Peace Treaty”, both remastered and originally released on Interactive Test.

If you think this is it you’re definitely wrong, there are also 2 remixers, one for each track, responding to the names of Roman Flügel and Gerd Janson & Shan. It goes without saying that these gentlemen did a superb and highly respectful job. Quality at its best!

Some lovely deep lush house tunes on this one! Karlos Moran continues to release more bonafide classic US Deep House music on his own Moran Music Group label (which was started for him especially by the people behind Klasse Wrecks). The 4th in the series see Karlos take on the classic House hit 'Love Cant Turn Around' and provides good opportunity to showcase his passion for the combination of loose drum machine grooves and heartfelt vocal action. Recorded whilst staying with his father in Mayfield, Kentucky the four tracker delves into similar territories as before, featuring more of the same lush melodic deepness and authentic emotions mix together whilst the B1 (Praying 2 Frankie) gives the young producer a chance to show off his guitar skills. That b2 track is just so nice!!! Recommended.

After its latest dancefloor killer reléase HOMES EP by icelandic hero ILO, Nómada Records feels like ready to pay a homage to the roots of HOUSE MUSIC. This Time Nómada is proud to present its Disco, Afro and Boogie Side with an Edit Series. This first volumen will be leaded by German chief “Marcus Lindner a.k.a DELFONIC”; who has created and managed plenty of labels and released music on well known labels such as Money $ex Records, Oye Records and Toy Tonics.

DELFONIC EDITS is a four track EP, where you can see how important the Black Culture and Black Music is for DELFONIC and this is his tribute to that legacy that It has been spreading for centuries. The reléase opens with “Saturday Night Dance Edit” a 70’s fresh dance track with strongs strings, warm synths and catchy vocals followed by Delfo’s Check Edit where boogie and soul music match perfectly. Perfect track for chilin, smoking some cigarettes and driving by the coast.

The B-Side is a homage to afro and highlife music starting with “All Is Africa Edit” a 80’s eclectic get down that will make you wish have been part of Africa. and last but no least the release close with “I’m Away Edit” a percussive african caribbean track with an infectious champeta driven rhythm and catchy vocals.

Bronx-born singer-songwriter Fiorious made his anticipated return to Glitterbox with a stunning cover of Aly-Us’ ‘Follow Me’ in 2020, bringing a hopeful message to the world, encouraging one and all to use their collective power to show up for each other. Representing the dawning of a new chapter of dance talent, Fiorious’ indelible vocals have earnt him high-profile fans ranging from Honey Dijon to Cassius. Now Glitterbox delivers a special 12” package of ‘Follow Me’, featuring Fiorious’ original, with a more stripped-back feel to his previous output, as well as house legend Roger Sanchez’s remix that opens the package, a fitting artist to take on the duty after remixing the 1992 original. On the flip, Harry Romero cooks up a club-ready mix nodding to the track’s Jersey roots, delivering an uplifting bassline, sumptuous builds and thunderous drops throughout. Waajeed comes through on the package with his BLM remix, reinvigorating the track’s meaningful call-to-action with an unmistakable Detroit flair; an urgent record flipping between a soft bassline, rhythmic percussion and futuristic synths from beginning to end. Closing out the package is Fiorious’ Accapella, an essential DJ tool.

Vinyl only. Limited copies. No repress.

Guri has been on the forefront of the emerging Balearic house music scene since 2011. DJ, producer and one third of the electronic live band Round Shaped Triangles. He has released his music on top-notch labels like Wolf + Lamb, Nite Grooves or Sub_Urban, where he also works as AR. On his vinyl debut, Guri shows us that he feels like fish in the water producing the most undergound side of house music.

"Into The Light" and "House Of Life" are two timeless deep house masterpieces, whose common denominator is a powerful bubbly bassline that hits you in the chest like the toughest heavyweight boxer. Catchy female disco voices and ethereal pads add to both tracks the necessary atmosphere to become two psychedelic and adrenaline trips.

The first remix comes by the always amazing Ruff Stuff. His rework is strongly influenced by Detroit 90's techno, with minor and melancholic chords, strong rhythms and an underground and raw sound. Quality at its best! Iban Montero & Jazzman come back to Cyanide to put the icing on the cake with the funkiest thang you've heard in a long time. Yes! These guys have more funk than Shaft driving a Chevelle through Harlem, and this track is no exception. Pure fire!

One of the musical highlights from Louie Vega’s NYC Disco album, “Rebel Nation” is a collaboration between grammy award winner Louie Vega, legendary multi-platinum producer Patrick Adams, and Nulu Records president, international DJ and artist Anané. Patrick initially had the idea for the song after seeing a recent Star Wars movie. Louie saw the vision of what it could ultimately be with live music additions, and Anané added the inspired lyrical content and vocal performance. In Louie’s own words, “I call Anané a chameleon, because she transcends so many different sounds with her voice. She gave the track just the right feeling vocally. It’s a very punk-rock approach; the kids speaking out, all kinds of people making the statement, Get Up! Stand Up! Let’s Rise! Rebel Nation.”

Lauded critically and on dancefloors worldwide in its original album version, the track has now been given the all-star remix package treatment with contributions from Danny Krivit, Carl Craig, Soul Clap and Felix Da Housecat X Chris Trucher.

Maxi is one of our heroes at All Day I Dream. It's all about the groove below the beauty above that draws us to his productions. Each track instantly engaging you and then surprising you as it unfolds. Keep your eyes and ears on his sonic journey as it's one you'll want to join him on.

Love, Leee

Finally, the battle is about to reach its thrilling finale after three exhausting rounds. Our pugilists are staggering on their feet and the bookies are running around frantically, taking the final bets. Will the Bad Guys suckerpunch the Good Guys into oblivion, or does team Good have an epic deathmove in store for its malevolent adversaries Amsterdam native Nachtbraker steps back into the arena for the fourth chapter in the saga. The Quartet Series label boss and Heist and Dirt Crew mainstay has defected to the bright and sunny Good Guys. Piano chords, chopper effects and toms are the main ingredients of his funk-laden and groovy energy drink. Better than steroids they say. Laurence Guy (Church, Rose Records) joins forces or heads in this particular case with a much-needed supplement that tugs on your heartstrings with its lush keys and deep pads. This London lad has been stirring up the scene with his flawless and addictive chords, not to mention the big support he's getting from maestro Move D. Will this dapper duo be strong enough to floor the misfits featured on the flip Great precaution is imperative with two heavyweights in the other corner. First mr. Tommy Vicari Jnr (Cabinet Records, YAY Recordings, AMMO84) comes barging in. This Sheffield veteran has been making killer cuts for years now and is about to step into the ring with his slamming snares, and wonkly wobbly bassline swinging around a phat kick. To keep both The Bad Guys feet on the ground LK (Shall not Fade, Hokkaido Dance Club) adds some extra meat with a deep, heavy bassgroove, while a sexy vocal and steady chords create that gangsta vibe that will boost the Bad Guys' confidence.

Ahaad is back with its first VA. Four unique tracks from four talented producers. Be quick to secure your copy!
Limited to 150 copies

Another cornerstone record from the mighty Strictly Rhythm catalogue, 'Waterfalls / Feel it' is an essential example of the deeper, more melodic style of house that emanated from NYC / NJ in the early to mid 90's. Originally released in 1991 the EP features the production style of Andrew 'Rags' Richardson with some co-production assistance from one Roger Sanchez. It perfectly encapsulates the style of music that would be played at clubs like the Loft, Shelter, Zanzibar and beyond, a more emotive and soulful strain of House that gives a respectful nod to it's Disco roots. 'Waterfalls / Feel it' has long been the toast of House aficionado's and is most definitely a record that will still have people rushing the booth asking 'what's this?!'. An evergreen slab of wax indeed. Essential sounds for the heads.

'Waterfalls / Feel it' has been skilfully remastered from all original master sources and fully licensed and reissued officially for 2017.

Stunning Chicago deep house song by the dreamy, lovelorn Vincent Floyd, recorded in the early nineties. Previously unreleased, mastered from the original DAT tapes. Big Tip!

Limited to only 300 copies this trio of tracks dangled in classic disco juice is one of Picnic Records finest.

"Disco Ynferno" is not quite a cover of The Tramps hit but borrows the lyrics to stay in theme with the release. A driving deep house groove, 909 drums gets things moving and when the big buzzy bass, smooth breaks and nonchalant vocals drop at the halfway point it just feels right.

Company B's Hi-NRG banger get chuggified. "Phasinated" vocals by Aussie soul diva 'Ofa Fotu shine through this deep and funky 110bpm disco groover. Tropical percussion sits underneath a bouncy electro synth bass. A bit of a Crooked Man vibe going on.

The stand out, "Dubbing Alive", a tropical dubbed out version of arguably the biggest disco track ever. It just settles in and washes you with familiar melodies pushed along by a weirdly amazing honky bass. Perfect for coming up, coming down or a Sunday session down the pub.

Nicewon kicks off 2021, with the 'Tribute EP' from Christian James. Five new cuts, long-side a phenomenal remix, from 'Sweet Fruity Brunch'. Thiswon's got some phat-n-driving drums, crunchy hats, warm textures, sweet licks and some proper- all around dusty vibes. Enjoy the sounds on NCWN06!
