House Vinyl New Releases - News

Sebastian Eduardo burst onto the scene in 2016 with a fine debut EP entitled 'Ultima Necat', now comes his second EP, this time released in The Untold Stories Protagonist Series. Dedicated to the legendary poet Hanshan, the EP is a deep and personal offering, it keeps to the style which made his debut so appreciated: positively charged, quirky and enlivening micro house, but this time there's a deeper personal dimension to the tracks, a nice development and another welcome offering from the young Swiss producer.

The second of our two part 12" sampler taken from our Leftback Vol.1 mix CD featuring four previously unreleased tracks is now available in unmixed format on vinyl. The four tracks were previously featured exclusively as part of Leftback Vol.1 with this second edition including new music from OCH, Ittetsu, Kashawar & Matthew Burton.

Cr= Craig Richards, Va= Volkan Akin, Jt= Josh Tweek, Yy= Yonatan Yudkovitz, Jm= Jesse Morrison, H= Hamid

HPLS 002 sees the concept unfold a little bit more by showcasing six of the different collaborations featured on the forthcoming releases. The highlight would be indeed the collaboration with all time favourite ,and Fabric DA , Craig Richards.

The result captured perfectly the mind bending essence that you usually encounter in his early morning or after party sets .Tracks with Volkan Akin , Josh Tweek and Jesse Morrison will fit perfectly in more conventional narratives , when the live saxophone from Yonatan Yudkovitz compliment a more down tempo and experimental exercise.

Since 2008, Dirty Culture and the team at TheSounds have dedicated themselves to carving an intelligent niche within deep house and techno. After the succes of Kirik's latest EP, now it's the time for some amazing talents, Oshana and Topper & The Clover, both artists have been included on Raresh's Fabric 78 mix. Simple ingredients, expertly blended, can produce devastating results. The tracks achieve something very different, and show the subtle touch that makes minimal so good. A vinyl only for the heads.

Pierre Codarin continues his series of releases on his own label this May with four of his own solid cuts.

Rhythmic and groove-led from the off, 004 begins with Dustin Summin blending intricate percussion with scintillating chords in a proper house workout. Gass is a more low-end focused affair with its rippling bass and a cacophony of trippy stabs, whirrs and licks, whilst LFO Fidget earns its name from its oscillating synths, with crunchy drums and atmospheric elements forming a mesmerising aesthetic. Tying it all together, Lemon Groove is an undulating number with twisted effects and moody undertones.

Second strike from Black/Tuesday comes from Inwave head honcho Counrad with a rip-roaring remix from Sascha Dive.

Melodic house pioneer and Diynamic figurehead Solomun is back with his latest release, a compilation of some of his best-loved remixes from over the past 7 years. Comprised of 24 tracks spread across two CDs, the collection is due for release in June this year, and is split into a vocal and non-vocal disc. Both the CD and vinyl versions come with customisable cover artwork and a pack of crayons, reflecting the "remix" concept. The first disc displays Solomun's skill for crafting intelligent yet crossover-ready reworks of both well-known and underground songs. Amongst these are some of the producer's most iconic tracks to date; the Solomun Vox Mix of Noir & Haze's 'Around' - Resident Advisor's no1 remix and Groove Magazine's no2 remix of 2011 - as well as his remix of 'Let's Go Back' by Kraak & Smaak, which was also Groove Magazine's no3 remix of the same year. His remix of Foals - 'Late Night' from 2013 also features, which, alongside 'Around', has racked up over 30 million views on Youtube to date. Other offerings range from atmospheric takes on the likes of Lana Del Rey and Roisin Murphy, to the more recent, deep and downbeat remix of Whilk & Misky's 'Clap Your Hands'. The largely vocal-less remixes on CD2 allow Solomun's unique production style to shine through. The dark beats of his remix of Stimming's 'Una Pena' feat. Paulo Olarte makes for an attention-grabbing start to the disc, whereas his dub mix of 'A Love Bizarre' by So Phat! and Claude VonStroke's 'The Clapping Track' shows his funkier side. Older remixes like that of 'Magnetic North' by Palm Skin Productions and Marbert Rocel's 'Cornflake Boy' prove Solomun's credentials with a traditional jacking house groove, underlined by those same distinctive lush basslines and melodic elements. Tiga & Audion's famous 'Let's Go Dancing' draws the compilation to a close, demonstrating Solomun's skill for bringing an entirely new dimension to an already very well-known track. Solomun's 'Selected Remixes 2009 - 2015' is a great overview of the multiple facets of Solomun's unique yet ever evolving production style. His seminal label Diynamic reaches its 10th anniversary this year, marking the perfect time for this retrospective release.

With Lomdit EP we have arrived at Levi Verspeeks 3rd solo record. Three times a charm and so it will be when it crashes onto the dancefloor with tech triumph Tamtam named after an unknown friend. 2nd track Octo's slick, oozing groove sees right through you and pillages the floor with metal percussion. No later than 6 and a half minutes after you will be met by God's choir singing it's chorus: We Smell Sausage. Watch out that you don't get dipped by that foxy break halfway through! Knock knock. Who's there Hmmm. Hmmm who Hmmm, the last track on Lomdit, and IT KNOCKS!

Nami has previously released sould out editions on Nami, Eastenderz, NeoConcepto that already strike high on discogs. - Metroline Limited first 12 of 2016 after a series of succesful vinyl releases by East End Dubs, Doubtingthomas, Dhaze & more. Tracklist: A1. Origins Of Maul , A2. Teorema , B1. Galaxy 3025 The elusive and mysterious producer Nami is the artist behind the 80th release on Metroline Limited. And what a way to start the new year if not with some fresh wax filled by dubbed out grooves and intricate sound structures. This idiosyncratic three tracker strats off with the tripped out dub of Origins Of Maul and its swerving infectious rhythm. Huge bass, crisp percussions, loud cut, that's the A side for you. On the flipside we have two offers: one for the body and one for the mind. Body music comes from Teorema: a more jacking approach, the pace has been upped, the rhythm has been toughened up! One for floor, at peak time! The title track Galaxy 3025 is music for you mind instead. A totally immersive broken dubby house track with disorienting pads, clicks and efx. Deep and lush electonic music at its best!

90's freak-beat enthusiasts may recognize this record as oringally released on Temple Records New York in 1995. We are such fans of the label that we've teamed up with Khan (aka Bizz OD, 4E, Gizz TV....) to start a new series of releases pulling from Temple's vaults. The first in the series sees Khan and brother Cem (aka Jammin Unit and 1/2 of the legendary Air Liquide) unleashing a torrent of acid-tinged jack in the form of 'You Make Me Function' and 'Fun House'. Drummy madness for the most unhinged hours of the dance. Pressed on clear vinyl and bearing the original Temple logo as homage to the label.

The mystical label :move and understand: returns with another eclectic vinyl only EP. Their third release comes again from label chief Mau. who delivers a very versatile solo EP .

London based label 4Plae Records launch their first vinyl release featuring remixes from Seb Zito, Dubphone, F.eht and Porque. It has been a long time coming. With digital releases being distributed from the start of 2015, 4Plae have built a reputation and sound which is organic and unique and sits firmly in the underground scene.

The original track 'Lomatic' by ADMNTi featured on Vandalism Musique at the start of the year. Close friends of the label F.eht (SAMANI) and Porque got involved with some remixes shortly after the release came out, and Seb Zito and Dubphone have also worked on the track, giving it their own vibe.

- Seb Zito's remix is full of energy, and we expect nothing less from the UK producer. His music has spread across the world in past years, and his heavy involvement in London label FUSE has created a huge buzz in the city, especially with FUSE parties on Sundays at 93 Feet East and now Village Underground.

- F.eht hasn't stopped progressing in the last couple of years too, along with his label Samani. His take on 'Lomatic' is deeper and moodier. Dubby textures can be heard throughout the track that keeps on rolling through the night...

- Romanian producer and founder of Vandalism Musique - Dubphone - has also contributed to the remix VA. His remix meets somewhere in the middle of the others, offering a lot of energy, and some darker textures. We feel that this remix, much like his edit of Moodymann's 'Hangover', will be heard at events in Ibiza this summer, as well as other parties in Romania, Spain and anywhere else that offers good weather, good people and good vibes.

- Porque has been a great inspiration to 4Plae, as both a producer/DJ and a friend and his release on 4Plae went down a storm at the start of the year. His remix - much like F.eht's - has more of a dubby sound to it. The remix is stripped back and includes some added vocals which fit the sound perfectly.

Support from: Lauren Lo Sung, Archie Hamilton, Direkt and many more.

We hope you enjoy this release as much as the people who have already heard it..

First release for the Ya.Ma. Records ... Andrea Rango has the pleasure to opening this only vinyl' label with a trip into minimal deep walking through electronic sounds, unwordly vocals and hammering bassline, the mix never rests for too long in one place, teasing your emotions between the soothing swell of Is It Your Destiny' and the playful rhythm of Tidy Disorder', reaching on to the techno! Is It Your Destiny' is the first track of this EP ... the vocal rests wistful washes of the piano melody and moving gracefully between melodic warmth and a powerful techno groove, Tidy Disorder' has insistent rhythm and is conducted by a low, but festive, sequenced synth line marked by hard cuts and punchy returns.

ALREADY SUPPORTED BY :
STACEY PULLEN,PACO OSUNA,BIMAS,HORATIO,LEON,STEVE LAWLER,MARCO CAROLA...
AND MANY OTHERS.

This time Krad makes a bet and they play it big, Aney F. one of the popular names of the deep tech scene, brings two originals with his constant groove, wicked voices and deep really deep basses. And as if that where not enough we got two remixes, one from Hernan Bass & Unluck, they give a twist and show a deep and exquisite version, and another remix from Rub a Dub a minimal version with crazy textures.

UMAGA Recordings debut comes in a form of a hypnotic EP that resonates far into the realm of contemporary intimYstic dance-floor music. The A side titled Unglorious (2010 Original Mix)' demonstrates what unconventional slow dark techno is all about. With its narcotic cross-rhythms, emerged into clicks & cuts microtonal philosophy, Antiego sets up a mighty pace for almost 14 minute long beat crusher. The B sider is a remix by the fresh talented face on the techno scene ,Shady P, a young, stellar DJ and producer that already managed to get himself a slice of the international acclaim. Cut out as multilayered mélange of soundscape, experimental electronics, dub techno and plain-bursting, raw frequencies, it pins UMAGA Recordings straight on the map of any club music connoisseur.

Incolor stepping up next with his rarefied and subliminal sound, for your ears and leisure. We bring to your attention a two sided 12" full of identity and personalised rhythms, celestial sounds and smooth bassline. The name "7am" is self-explanatory in some way, the name = the time = the mood = the direction for the traveller. The synths will take you to the outer space and back, leaving that feeling of completed experience. Going to the other side of this record, understanding that what u heard before was only the prologue for this next path of sound. Absolutely alien-ish vibrations. Spaced out and atmospheric mid sounds will deliver the idea that stands behind this composition. No more words needed on this one. The rest of it is for you to find out.

A favorite amongst artists such as Barac, Arapu and Franco Cinelli to name a few, Agustin Martin aka Nektar Agu born in 1992 is a native of the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

He began his career as a musician in 2008 inspired mostly by the underground scene of countries like Romania, Russia and Germany. This development led to the culmination various influences that helped shape his sound.

Nektar Agu's 'By Skin' EP includes three new original tracks and a remix by none other than Drumma Label head, Felipe Venegas. Each track offers Nektar's signature rhythm patterns with tasteful vocal shots and synth work that keep your head spinning and feet moving.

Electronic music is very eclectic, so the EP associates different
genres to a coherent general view. Associate' represents a struggle with the diversity in life and tells a story about crossing ways, changing plans & styles. - The Secret Of Association is about dealing with changes.

We are very happy having talented - Red Pig Flower from Japan for the Remix on board. In spite of all changes she stands up for clarity & harmony.

These experimental, psychedelic UK inspired tracks make a must have for passionate listeners of different genres of electronic music. A fine mixture of Aphex Twin & Julio Bashmore.

Supports : Vid, Oshana, Ada Kaleh, Re-up, Zendid

The Adventure continues for Plaisir Records with his 2nd Release made by Ali Moghrani with a remix from Faster!

Here, you're going to get into a twisted club atmosphere where basslines will catch you forever. Vertige' will raise your feelings and make you go between melancholia and full energy at the same time, with the coexistence of violins, round bass and disconstructed voice. Inconnue' will bring sun into your mind and your smile will instinctively appear, synth is growing slowly between the beats to get as high as possible.

Vertige Faster remix' makes you enter directly in its sweaty mental mood from beginning to end with its voices manipulation and its acid component that makes your mind disconnect from reality.
