For some time now the Bar25 label has wanted to put out a release with all of our Swiss musician friends - the many folks who came to the Swiss Weekends at the Bar and generally made a habit of visiting us in Berlin. The Bar always had a deep Swiss connection, manifested not least in the legendary Swiss Cabin, home away from home to larger groups of visiting friends and Monday evening after-hour hotspot.
'Alpenglühen - Feines aus der Schweiz' (Alp Glow - Swiss Bliss) is a swanky double vinyl of high-quality production art made in Switzerland. On vinyl 1, Animal Trainer from Hive Audio share a side with Andri, the Zurich native.
Techno gladiator Wandler and live artist Canson play the other side, while vinyl 2 lets two matadors from the new Zurich club Frieda's Büxe - Don Ramon and San Marco - steer for a while. And the two music geniuses from Galoppierende Zuversicht are also here, fittingly, using sounds recorded live at Frieda's Büxe for their track. The sampler concludes with the exceptionally talented Mastra, who contributed a special song to this Swiss musical collage. The digital release also comes with a bonus live track by sublime stage band Rizzoknor.
Even the cover was designed in Switzerland, during a Bar25 night at the legendary Cabaret in Zurich. We're all excited about this release since it's a special one for the 25 label. Marked both by good old times and new horizons, this record is a musical compilation representing the very special kind of artist that will always be welcome in wild Berlin!

On its 3rd release Casual Lab presents two new artists who contribute one track each. These two tracks are supported by two great remixes. With Mike Starr feat. Mama, Riccardo Rizza, Douglas Greed and Sven Tasnadi we go on a musical journey passing London, Italy, Jena and Leipzig. A farraginous mix that blends into something great. While "Love Away"
is more a Peak-Time Track, "Autumn Beat" invites to drift and relax. The vocals in "Love Away" come from "Mama", whose voice you could already hear on two of the last "Tiefschwarz"-Tracks. And after listening to "Autumn Beat" you will be looking forward to the next Open Air Season.

The two french guys are close friends. It all started a few years ago, after meeting in an exhibition, they started making music together. And the two cronies have this thing in common, they are perfectionists. It's a threat, they've been working over and over tirelessly for years with the strong belief of getting to the right direction. Doubts, convictions, stories, evolution, creativeness, discovery, hesitation for years, and now Vedren & Leiris have finally decided to bring out their first EP on Minibar!! And the story begins...

Alex & Digby followup their debut Flash As A Rat 12" with another tender, summer-baiting release. This time the duo are on scintillating form with A-side Whysteria blending their stripped back micro-noise experiments over a tender house epic. The flip Sleucin' ups the velocity but keeps the terrace minimalism alive with some incredible sound design and delay tactics.. Another absolutely killer release! Limited to 300 copies.

Whether he is headlining at nightclubs or playing a marathon set for an underground afterhours event, Elon has a key asset in shaping New York's vibrant underground music scene. And with this new EP, Stab the Slab, he effortlessly showcases the sophistication in the style and sound which has earned him this central positioning in both NYC and beyond. Since his first release in 2006 on Made to Play, Elon has produced several successful EPs and remixes on labels such as Get Physical, Clink, Dumb-Unit and Metroline. His releases, like Bummalo with Maceo Plex, Noose and Fuck Cuba EPs have received global support which led to the launch of his own imprint, ReSolute Label in 2011. On 'Stab the Slab', Elon has laid down layers of pitch-bending cow bells, wandering arpeggios - building to crescendo - bright chimes and energetic percussion, undercut with grooving basslines that venture to the deeper, dark side of his sound. The slabs are there to be stabbed.

After a well deserved winter pause, Darek is back with a new vinyl edition, perfect for the start of the mild and sweet sunny days! This time, the Swiss/Argentinean label offers something smooth and fresh. Sakro who is a young producer from Mexico, delighted us with these deep house gems. For the vinyl, he produced two original tracks; one of them is featuring Asylum. For the special digital edition, he offered us two more productions of his own. We're also very lucky to have Sierra Sam, Marcus Vector as well as The Midnight Perverts featuring Gionny on board, for the remixes! But now, let's talk about the music.....

Where Are We Heading' EP is a sequel to the stunning entry by Tapirus (Rotterdam's very own
Charlton), and offers greater room for the artist to roam, breathe, flex and grow.
Behind the success of 'Acid Love Story', which received notable plays by Surgeon on Rinse.FM and
Blawan at Awakenings, this follow-up effort recalls the signature elements established in the first,
while displaying a quest by the artist for refinement and progress.
In introspective fashion, the title track 'Where Are We Heading' questions the forward march by
mankind with a Mr. Fingers touch providing pause in between the war. Offering up his interpretation
on B2 is Credit 00 or Alexander Dorn out of Dresden, Germany.
Adding battle call drums and a kind of majesty, he rallies new life to the mix, pointing a way forward
in this crazy collective experience we call life.
'As I'm Going Through Suffering in Life' carries with it certain acceptance: that through pain, lasers
and adversaries, life goes on. While on the other side, 'I Really Wonder When We'll Meet Again' is the
EP's bittersweet refrain - our heartbreak hero narrating part deux of his doleful tale. The result is a vicious, acidic loop wandering through love's cruel matrix.

If you heard Obsidian last year, you already understand. On his sophomore album as Baths, Will Wiesenfeld fully shed of his sonic influences with a staggering work of graveyard beauty. Contrasts to the other artists became null. Giving it a 8.6 'Best New Music,' Pitchfork hailed it as a 'subversive work that gets uncomfortably close to pop, confronting closed minds with what they don't want to believe.'

BAISEMAIN CAVAAN is releasing their follow up 12'on the new label that has given echoingly hypnotic infused techno and house music a stable platform.
The duo effortlessly present three beautifully-constructed productions that demonstrate the convergence and symbiotic nature of their musical past and present. SIGNS EP is a feather light feeling of completeness, with an euphoric kick in every track. These are three small dissertations that experiments with synthetic song structures with skillfully-placed drums and bass lines which have to be felt and heard. BLACK SNOW got remix treatment by german producer Isolée who created 'Beau Mot Plage' a club hit classic which is still turning all around the world. Those who know his impressive discography, know what awesome and exciting music Rajiko produced beyond this. So share our happiness and be prepared for a journey with Isolée and Cavaan on Signs EP.

South American heroes Marcelo Rosselot and Francisco Allendes are back with a new Andes Music release.
Marcelo and Francisco, this time in team with Gustavo Ferrante produce an elaborate track pointing to the future. 'Straight up' is a mixture of their usual organic sound, and the new old-school flavored productions. Multi-noted bass, high and fine hi-hats and Ferrante's voice are the elements that provide the new old-school touch. The production duo introduces their organic influences and small details that point to South America. Also, the UK has been paying attention, as Steve Lawler has recently signed it for a VIVA compilation to be released this July.
For the remix, they count on their friend Felipe Valenzuela. This South American musician also builds a remarkable track, playing with each and every percussive item, as he knows best. With a solid kick, Felipe leaves behind his Housy clothes for a while to be immersed in a spacey Techno trip. The electrifying atmosphere is complete with new melodies all around and Ferrante's soft whisperings.
To finish the pack, the third theme is the solid and groovy track 'Juan de la Verdad'. Containing lovely vocals from a mysterious girl, it shows the danceable and rhythmic sound of Andes Music.

finallly repressed! Monsieur Guillaume Berroyer "the infamous Ark" recently underwent a sort of sea change in both his artistic and personal life. Anyone following his career with even a passing interest knows of his long resume (collabs with Pepe Bradock and Cabanne, Dolibox, Mika Weill, releases on Brif, Karat, Circus Company, Perlon...) and has heard tales of the studio fire and the creative energy shift and all of the stories associated with his frenzied live performances and DJ gigs.

Hizou Music is delighted to welcome into the family the much-talented and vastly-experienced US producer and DJ Aakmael with our second vinyl release, the superb Sour Alien EP. Having been born into a musical family and surrounded by music all his life, Aakmael is one of the true deep house heads having been DJing since he was 16 and chalking up a 20-year stint on US radio. He also has a string of very fine releases to his name on labels such as the highly-respected Uzuri and his own excellent imprint UnXpozd. For Sour Alien the man stays true to his deep roots. Opening track House Music featuring the vocal talents of Esq is a marvellous percussion-driven homage to the music we love that will keep any dance-floor moving. Following on from the opener is Empty, a cut that takes the tempo down a little but keeps the standard just as high with melancholic chords that touch the soul. Dubb, meanwhile, opens up the B-side with a much chunkier groove that gets right into your head, while completing the EP in fitting style on a more down-tempo note is the beautiful and soulful Depth.

Croisière Musique is a young parisian label of electronic music created by Fif & RX.
Influenced by Perlon's minimal house, Croisière evokes the experience of getting lost in the music, night or day, from our frenetic feet moves on the floor to the deepest melancholy of our mind.
To promote music which takes risks, made with passion, collaborate with artists we admire and trigger emotions from minimalistic grooves. Have a Croisière!
For this initial EP, RX delivers his first release composed of two tracks and a remix from Bato (Antislash).
