Here comes the hit for autumn 2013 on BlackFoxMusic!
The global underground talent Kim Pixa(Systematic) from czech republic comes with the first single of his forthcoming album in early 2014. After his remix for Marc Romboys "Taiyo" on Systematic, now there is a cooperation with the international well known Xenia Beliayeva (Shitkatapult). She fell in love with his track and the result is an emotional, sad and also powerful love song. Dark abstract basslines and a punching melody combined with xenias lovesick german vocals is the perfect mixture to set every dancefloor on fire. The flipside comes with two great remixes by well known artists:
First is globetrotter Andre Winter(Ideal Audio) who serves a voluminous and danceable track with the focus on Xenias vocals. The other version by maltas star-producer Dean Demanuele (Boxer) goes the deeper way and brings a warm and emotional feeling to the speakers using parts of the original melody. The bonus-track on the EP is a collaboration with the czech MC Dub-U and is called "hey girl":
a very groovy bass prepares you for a hot rave at night!

Next up on Sudden Drop we have Dutch native and member of ESHU (along with Ivano Tetelepta) Roger Gerressen supplying the luscious beats. 'Faithful' is a spritely groove with elements of dub techno and tech-house with it's lush chords and forward leaning percussion really giving the track a sense of pace. Flip-sides 'Put that Record On' delves deeper with a headier combination of deep bass and spoken 'put that record..' refrain.

Hypnotic reduced detroitish jackin' 4-tracker from an inspiring artist that has also released on Assemble Music and Platzhirsch. Top notch stuff, Lize again is prooving they defo know how to carefully select the soulfoul sounds.

Lana Del Rey's 'West Coast' dropped a couple of weeks ago, and the lead single off Ultraviolence keeps Lana's feet firmly planted in retro territory. But instead of channeling some warped hip-pop version of '50s glamour, it has a seedier, vaguely psychedelic '60s vibe. Producer Dan Auerbach eschewed a swollen orchestral arrangement in favor of some lean, analog noir, while Lana sings about smoking and loving and leaving, alternating between a husky whisper and a heavenly coo. It's equal parts sullen and dreamy, which means its classic Lana — with some new tricks. So we bring you these huge remixes to her track, club and party ready, for your listening pleasure. Enjoy.

From his beginnings as F.U.S.E. on Warp, Richie Hawtin has come a long way in the minimal techno game. The Plastikman project now offers up "EX (Performed live at the Guggenheim, NYC)" on Mute. A hugely welcome return, this is his first album under this pseudonym since 2003's seminal 'Closer'. EX was recorded live at the Guggenheim, NYC sometime last year and is a modern update on the hypnotic, slowed-down acid trax that he was a pioneer of way back in 93'. Throughout the seven track album we are treated to his trademark brand of twisted squelchy 303 acid lines, but with a modern backdrop of psychedelic synth lines of epic proportions. There are echos of classic Plastik in the 'Spastik'-like ball bearing snares of 'EXpire' to the more moody tracks like 'EXtend' and onto the sedate house of 'EXtrude' rendering this album the perfect soundtrack for introverted solo missions and late nights wondering around empty art galleries and basement nightclubs.

Hey everyone, It's me again. I'm sipping coffee and staring at this Mac's calendar, suddenly realising it's already been more than 4 months since the release of 'Adamant". I think thank-yous are way overdue so I'd like to take this opportunity to acknowledge everyone involved in the project as these have been a really amazing four months. Enough nonsense and let's back to business, or the purpose of this text: I (drumroll) proudly present the final 5 re-interpretations from some talented friends. It's an honour for me to have Francesco's techno, David's modular madness, Jake's synthwork and Martin's melodies all in one package, but being both fan and friend of everyone on board I'd be blatantly biased in describing this record's contents. So, since it's 2014, why don't we switch banalities, skip the 'description' and 'let the music do the talking' (ugh, did I really just write that) Thank you all! PS. On Memento Split 001, Gas and Acirne come up with two fresh releases who show their love for
unconventional soundscapes and musical emotions.

Gas' 'El Merendero' features low-pitched vocals and throbbing rhythms which give the track a
doomy atmosphere. Warm synths provide a crescendo feeling of paranoia that leads to the distorted
analog acid sounds in the break. A presence that rises from the depths, it ends with disturbing
laughs, a quirky nod to the pleasure and pain mood of this tune.

Acirne's 'Luise' is upbeat and housey, with a driving bass melody and synth tones complete keyboards that fill the breaks and an almost ambient-like vibe that gives a hazy
touch to the track's ending.

Dave Vega's remix revolves around a heavy kick and bass structure. Snare, percussions and
distorted sounds fill the space with a menacing tone, while old-school techno synths give the whole
piece a sense of dreariness.

Ernesto Ferreyra's remix, based on a more minimal beat, big bass textures and uplifting pads, is the
counterpart to Acirne's more intimate and soft side. Images of dreamy landscapes are portrayed by
layers of sounds. The delay on the keyboards in the final part makes for a sonic trip, a sun-kissed
vision that resonates with colour and passion.

For many the ultimate visionary and sonic wizard, Mathew Jonson delivers a rare solo album for Crosstown Rebels with 'Her Blurry Pictures', encompassing a new evolution in his rhythmically complex and timeless approach over eight fluid and rich compositions.

Although distinctive as Jonson's production style, 'Her Blurry Pictures' marks the end of a phase for the Canadian in which he used music as a tool of escapism and looking within. Predominantly made in his studio in Berlin in 2012.

Her Blurry Pictures' maps his coming into focus, moving into a new chapter of reflection, remaining present and finding a deeper connection.

Rising to prominence over a decade ago, Mathew Jonson has cast shadows on others in his field through a distinctive voice that offers a rare fusion of populist intensities and nuanced musicality, spanning elegant electronica, emotive techno and the universal laws of house.

Jonson is one of the most well respected names in electronic music with past releases on M_NUS, Perlon and his own Wagon Repair label. His first output in three years, the album follows two solo singles on Damian Lazarus' Crosstown Rebels imprint in 2012

Jonson has recently focused on his Cobblestone Jazz outfit as well as Midnight Operator a raw, rough, up-tempo partnership focusing on dance floor bombs), each of which have earned him widespread success. This solo album is a true return to his roots with aplomb!

Generally known for his great remixes for Bondage-Music and "Back In Leipzig EP" on Lowendcommunity Sené Ceanes did an awesome job again. This time he collaborated with Sebastian Weiske. The first two tracks of their common project will be released under the name "Cold Feet EP". Both tracks, weather it is "The Founder" or "Cold Feet" show how these guys interpret electronic music with a touch of deep house. Techno deity AlexKid teams up with Chilean talent Alejandro Vivanco for the tenth Wrong State release, serving up two slabs of juicy tech and a couple of killer remixes to boot.

AlexKid's reputation proceeds him, with a decade of releases on Laurent Garnier's F-Communications imprint followed by music in more recent years on REKIDS, NRK, Freerange, Moodmusic, Harthouse and Octopus to name just a few. Vivanco has been a resident DJ at Santiago's La Feria since 2001, helping propel the Chilean electronic music scene forward with his sets, parties and releases on Leena, Sound Architecture and Eukahouse.

Get Ready keeps you guessing, gradually building on its head-nodding rhythmic backbone with incessant swathes of funk-fuelled bass, before drawing in hazy reversed chord patterns. Moving from tough and aggressive to deep and contemplative, it's a beautifully subtle piece of work,
Camancho intrigues from first note, off-beat chord stabs and rumbling bottom end creating a dub riddim vibe before a choppy broken beat springs into life. Bruising kick patterns add to the weighty rhythm, atonal synth blips amplifying the mysterious feel.

Camancho gets two deep re-rubs. Love Letters From Oslo and Cargo Edition producer Michael Melchner delivers a wonderfully restrained remix, immensely deep and laden with seriously low subby bass tones. Soft, widely-panned chime notes and distant blasts of FX add to the hypnotic vibe. Kizt round off the package with his remix, drafting in some bugged out discordant synths to do battle with his reworked rolling groove.

After the great release of 'Ivano Tetelepta & Roger Gerressen / Floating EP' that have been cousing a buzz in the underground scene. Japanese rising label 'Fasten Musique' continues to lead the deep tech minimal pack with its third release featuring the finest producers.

Some things seem to have a symbiotic relationship. Prime example: a low-key electronic
soundscape that leaves room for roaming thoughts, inhabited by an ethereal voice that
colours in the musical silhouettes conjured in the mind's eye.

Another summer, another Summer Compilation. This year we celebrated our 5th year of existence, so with this occasion we decided to release the compilation on a beautiful DIGIPAK. 11 wonderful tracks plus a splendid cover done by PEACHBEACH, 300 copies only, makes this compilation a must have ! "La French and German Connection - EP" (Ton liebt Klang)
Aus einem Musikgeschmack entstand ein Kontakt, aus einer Verbindung wurde eine Kollaboration und aus einer Zusammenarbeit wurde eine gemeinsame EP.
"incontrol" aus Lyon und "Wolfgang Lohr" aus Berlin produzierten zunächst nur virtuell, über Dropbox, zusammen und schoben sich gegenseitig die Bälle zu. Dann wurden die Ideen im Studio ausgearbeit und finalisiert. Das Ergebnis ist ein Electro Swing Track "Le Swing Ist King", der mit seiner eingebauten Tanzgarantie nach vorne peitscht und einen satten Ohrwurm hinterlässt.
Der zweite gemeinsame Track "Holy Blues" siedelt sich im noch recht frischen Electro Blues Genre an. Hier treffen bluesige Vocals auf Mundharmonika, Gitarre und eine satte Glide-Bassline.

Abgerundet wird die EP durch starke Remixe in eigener Interpretation, von "Shemian" (Deutschland), der als einer der Electro Swing Pioniere gilt, und 2011 sogar für einen der besten Electro Swing Artist nominiert wurde. Und "Grant Lazlo" (Marseille) der in Frankreich und auch international zu einer echten Größe mutiert ist! Die EP wird sowohl auf Vinyl, als auch digital im Juni 2013 bei dem Hamburger Label "Ton liebt Klang" released werden. Eine starke Symbiose, mit viel Groove und Melodie für den Club....c'est la vie!

Chilean creativity has been widely recognized and once again Larry Peters stays true to that with the Amaro EP for Wrong State Recordings.

The Dj/producer was born in the magical land of southern Chile (La Union), where he began his career over 13 years ago. Through the years Larry met different styles of electronic music, but still his releases have the characteristic South American warmth and his rhythms are influenced by his Latin heritage.
His tracks were released on labels such as Sound Architecture, Souvenir, Elevation Limited, Amazing Music, Night Drive Music, Real Music, Agua y Sed and Soraya Musik.

The A Side 'Amaro' and 'Nani Corre Por Tu Sangre' are two completely contemporary tracks, but at the same time they incorporate beautiful Latin rhythms and sounds. 'Amaro' calms you at the beginning with the harmonic sounds of rain and nature, only to get you off your seat with the groovy baseline and uplifting vocals. 'Nani Corre Por Tu Sangre' creates its own mystical influence with instrumental melodies and cleverly incorporates unique identity vocals.

The Amaro EP is rounded with the B Side tracks 'No Quele' and 'Yo Diyei, Diyei'. 'No Quele' is an energetic track with a real groovecatcher. Its soundscape seems to have been created for wild imaginations, while the electrifying vibe will surely get you going through the night. 'Yo Diyei, Diyei' is a more minimal affair, lying on deeper sounds and a heavy sub baseline that pull listeners into darker territories.
