Lift off thumps and grinds itself along, mad with rich attenuation and weight of skills. Pax meets Takuya, paralleling influence and sustainability a bond brings out a mad collision. Ronald Burrell's reputation as deep house royalty has long been solidified throughout the years having released on many legendary labels since the late 80's including Nervous, Nu-Groove, Strictly Rhythm & many more. Working both solo and alongside his brother Rheji his output has always caught the interest and ears of dance music aficionados world-wide with a heady mixture of Gospel, Soul / R&B, Jazz, & Garage heavily informing his sound.

Surprising as it is, "It's A Boy" was never released, only ever existing as a test pressing! The 4 track EP takes in all the musical influences listed above and flips them into some seriously deep territory. Opener "Journey" is an epic jam punctuated by an 808 cowbell, beautiful pads, strings and Ronald's voice asking us to join him on a journey through our own minds. Second cut "Feelin Jazzy" picks up the pace a little, a stripped back rhythm blessed with some choice, chopped up Jazz samples and vocal stabs keeps things moving in the right direction. Over on side-B we are treated to the deepest groove of "Bedtime Story", which has all the trademarks of a classic Burrell production, soulful vocals, melodies and crisp drum programming. Closing track "The Crib" rounds things with off with a stomping church inspired organ groove, an up-lifting end to the EP.

As mentioned above, this is the very first time this underground House classic has ever been released! This record is a real collectors piece and has commanded collectors prices on-line in the past, a real rarity. It has been re-mastered and re-pressed in conjunction with Ronald Burrell from his original DAT tapes and all original label artwork has been preserved.

Ron Deacon, Filburt and Dan Confusion continue to stand for warm club sounds inspired by Soul, Funk and Disco and with strong influences from Chicago and Detroit.The current release comes from Ron Deacon - the EllaRosaEP. With his records on Workshop and Farside Records. Ron Deacon has been well known among insiders for a fair while already. Now the next record on his own label is coming up. A remix by Filburt - c.e.o. of O*RS Records - completes the record.As usual the new RDF record comes to its fans in a special unique Vinyl,
this time in pink.The track - - Rosa' - knocks at first softly, like a visitor knocking the front doors to a club, before moving to the bar. A guitar chord invites the guest to enter the dancefloor until the track carries to its full potential at high volume.
- 2605' takes you into higher spheres, like a bird the track soars up into the clouds. Finally, emotion-lade, you end up back in the here and now.As the third track on the EP - Ella' convinces with a straightforward line right from the start, and ends by leaving the listener with the day-dream calmness of a sunny autumn day.
With his remix of - 2605', Filburt delivers a skillful and as always laid-back reinterpretation with references to the eighties and the intention to continue moving people today.

Next up on Belfast based Titanic City is Hermez an artist that first appared on Local Talks' sub label Telefonplan, a release that really turned our heads. At first we commissioned this unknown to remix duties of our first release, and now have handed him the conch for 002. To our delight we present this thundering release with influences from Detroit to Chicago, Belfast to Berlin. This one holds everything from 303s to experimental techno a must hear for where we plan on going and an insight into who came to rule. On remix duty is NICK ANTHONY (Mathematics recordings/Creme,Org/L.I.E.S) with his crunching 909 warehouse remake, which has myriad synth lines layered with real rough edge house beats.
There's a rough and raw DIY feel to this music that makes it jump out of the speakers and arrest your attention, as is always the case with Titanic City. Stand up pay attention.
