The second part in the Hudd Traxx 10th Anniversary 'Now & Then' compilation sees tracks from Luna City Express, Sek, Iz & Diz and Rick Wade. Berlin duo Luna City Express serve up a lush deep house groove that builds throughout the track, and will bring a smile to the faces of those who follow them on their beloved Moon Habour Recordings. Sek uses slick beats, trippy leads, a driving bassline and some 'Thug life' vocals to ensure this one has 'future classic' written all over it. Go back in time (to 2006 to be precise) on the 'Then' side to find Iz & Diz's 'Happy'. The words 'epic' & 'journey' are often misused in music but both can be mentioned about this track. It had devastating effect on first release and is set to do the same again nearly 10 years later. Rick Wade closes things out in fine style to fly the Detroit flag on an all Chicago / Detroit side.

Brotherhood Sagats and Ludovic, together with Steve Murphy & Dj Octopus, are another duo coming from the Venetian school of the now Berlin based Lucretio & Marieu aka The Analogue Cops.
Their sound reflects the typical approach where drum machines, synthesizers and samplers are recorded directly on tape without being digitalised.
Handmoon EP encloses five fine raw cuts, four pressed onto vinyl and a bonus track which is available though Hardmoon London Bandcamp only.

This time we dive into lo-fi area, introducing Precipitation, Vancouver based artist who delivers 4 cuts of sweet sounding sound sculptures, recorded live in all-or-nothing, single take approach with minimalistic setup, showing real commitment and heart for the 'less is more' process, and a lot of feel for handling harmonies, melodies and moods.

That's why we're back with a new V/A compilation called 'brothers'. Four different artists are on the bill for this EP.
First off, we have two brothers (convenient, right) from Italy who sent us a killer demo we simply couldn't refuse: The Lion Brothers. 
Up next is the true veteran: Lemakuhlar, who's finally back with a fresh dose of his awesome music. This one's a real gem, finally available after spending many years as an exclusive in Maxim's sets. 
Audio City Soul is the new alter ego of one of our favourite artists, who's ready to take it to the next level. Last but not least, Maxim Lany seals the deal with a new track called 'Groot Feest', which is Dutch for big party... go figure!

Only one listen to the crystal clear rapture in the sound of Bodhi shows the funk influenced take on dance music this young duo have to offer. Olly Howells and Luke Welsby started producing together 2 years ago but ever since they kept on capturing the right attention. Therefore it is no surprise that Exploited picked them up to release three uplifting, warm and modern dance tracks.

At the time of the revolution in Romania, Borrowed Identitys parents
had to leave the country, because of revolutionary activities and an
"anticommunist lifestyle".
So the 21 years old producer behind the mask, was born as a political
refugee in 1990 in the deep south of Germany.
Growing up with multi ethnic friends and big interest in every music
genre of the world, he built his knowledge about music through hearing
every record he could get in his hands from friends, librarys, record
stores and also the internet. This variety in his musical taste is also
the reason why he is working anonym since years under different aliases
producing a big variety of sound from classical symphonys,ambient,
house, techno to experimental music and everything between.
The project Borrowed Identity was found as a new alias of the Romanian
producer in the summer of 2011, with the idea behind to work on a fusion
of classic electronic music from Detroit & Chicago plus his own
influences to make something contemporary but timeless.
The 21 Years old youngster already released his debut vinyl on
Foul&Sunk in June 2012 with a Mark E Remix on board and future Releases
are already planned on Traveller Records (Finland), Other Heights
(Belgium), Stripped&Chewed (Chicago), Home Taping Is Killing Music (UK),
Legendary Sound Research (Netherlands), Bastard Music (Spain) and some
secret surprises are following.

Last year Stockholm based producer HNNY provided us one of the biggest releases on Local Talk to date.
Now he's back with a follow up, Yearning, a straight up jackin' house track to prove he's not just one trick pony.
Dirtytwo got lot's of music planned for 2013 on Local Talk. First up is a remix of HNNY's 'For The Very First Time'. This particular version started out as a secret weapon which they guys used in the liveset.
Mats & Tooli heard it and decided that their version had to be released. Simply put, the Dirtytwo Midas Touch version is pure gold.

The inimitable Swiss duo L'N'F gear up for action once more here on Leo Leal's Unike Muzik imprint, as they join forces with the label head himself for the quite brilliant sounds of the The Cellar EP. Dark and broody but with a firm dancefloor persuasion, the EP is one that very much plays to the strengths of all involved.
Easing in the EP is the assured strands of the title-number, a nimble and boisterous wedge of peak-time house. Stuffed full of canny vocals and an unrelenting bassline emphasis, it saunters at a furious pace thanks to its heightened snares and undoubted groove. Most thankfully, it's full of suspense and emotion too.
French producer Julian M scrubs up the original thanks to a deft cowbell and even more funky pastures, before Kindimmer's Punchin Around Remix toes the line between techno and house with serious aplomb, re-sulting in the sort of heads-down anthem that's easy to fall for. The final calling card is '''93'', another effort that looks back in its search for kicks. With enticing melodies leading the charge, it signs off on the EP with the sort of expert touch we've come to expect from all involved. It's another quite brilliant Unike release.

Paris Nite tour with MCMXC plus a Leibniz Refix.

Hot on the heels of their second release, label founders Sem Marini and Mike Sharon put aside their "Ultra Knites" moniker and demonstrate their talents as solo artists for label's third release. The "Knite Grooves" series kicks off with Mike's track "People", skillfully crafted with Jazz influenced rhodes and lush pads underpinned by hard hitting kicks and basslines. A2 "Fields of Dreams" is a truly timeless track that really touches you, we can't put it into words here, it's far easier to just hit play on the preview above. Sem Marini steps up for the flipside. The B1 cut "Voltage" is well suited for peak time movement and brings a unique groove with expertly positioned stabs while the drum track is somewhat reminiscent of the the classic Amen break. B2 "Music Takes Me" is a deep rolling groove which rounds up the EP nicely.

For our 12th release, we are very pleased to welcome Moscow based dj and producer OL.

This EP is dedicated to one of the main Moscow' spots since the mid 90s, Victory Park, and to all the people I have met there during those years.

Shenoda follows up his debut EP on ManMakeMusic with another weighty dancefloor workout EP.

Talented Spanish producer Cuartero masterfully combines house and techno to deliver four of his best works to date for the mighty Hot Creations. This heavy 4 tracker has been getting heavy support from Jamie Jomes & Richy Ahmed ever since they signed it.

Making a serious impact, title track 'Dioneli' is a rolling monster with raw, dominant percussions, while 'Liquido' follows suit as a heavy duty weapon. On the flip 'Manipulated' is a melodic masterpiece with a bouncing bassline and sultry vocals. Completing the package 'Smooth Early' rounds off with more sonic bassline action.

Spanish bred Cuartero began producing at the tender age of 15, launching his first release in 2009. Releases soon followed on labels such as, Desolat, VIVa MUSIC and Moon Harbor Recordings

As far as defying conventions goes, Frits is on a whole new level of realness. With his new label Bobby Donny, he's putting out leftfield electronic music with a big F.Y. attitude and he's not too shy to tell you why the current state of the house scene is so utterly boring to him. There's even rumours of a new project with some legendary and likeminded producers, so our advice is to keep an eye out for this. His love for creating alter ego's and the time he spends curating his techno outpost 'Will & Ink', alongside his ruthless decision making process in selecting tracks for an EP, makes you wonder how and why he even makes time to release house music. But he does. And we're glad, because with each release, you know you'll be in for a treat. After releasing his album 'Rarely pure, never simple' early 2015 on Wolf Music and releases on the fresh Icelandic label 'Borg' and Darko Esser's 'Wolfskuil Records', he's back on Heist with his follow up to his 2014 'Family Dinner EP'. 'Rising sun, falling coconut' is an exploration into fuzzy synths and drunk organs, all drenched in his signature and ever so dusty grooves.

Right into the thick of the 12x12 series with a double-up of new tracks from Jesse Rose. He thinks it's his best 12x12 yet. We're happy he thinks so.
