Three house-filtered and heartically raw jams on the enigmatic Relative imprint for the eleventh release of the series. Label heads, John Swing and EMG touch down with their inimitable flair and mischievous beat programming, with the former delivering a signature Swing flex - dusty, off-kilter samples and slicing percussion - whilst the latter spreads the groove over two jams on the flipside - pounding kicks, degenerate vocal snippets and gritty synth chords. As always, Relative releases only on vinyl and cuts direct from the source - the truth.

Office Recordings introduces Trux with Office 07, an extended EP tinged in a smokey blue hue of low-fidelity candour and aberrant compositions. Blankets of white noise and distortion, lap over renditions of hazey house, stripped synth arrangements, jungle breaks, and queer patterns.

The first of three samplers, comprised of selected tracks taken from Spencer Parker's new album, 'Dance Music' out via his own label Work Them Records.

'There was no real concept behind the album, all I knew is that I wanted to do something honest. The tracks I make are the tracks I play in my sets and tracks I want people to dance to - that's where the title comes from.' - Spencer Parker.

Part One of the sampler opens with 'It Was Just A Dream', a ghostly cauldron of glitches, bleeps and sound bites that locks you into a dazed state of hypnosis. Next up, 'The Oh' hits with a taste of classic house, marrying emotive stabs, a tough kick and fizzing ride cymbals.

On the B side, 'You're Under My Control Now' takes the sound industrial combining a Kraftwerk-esque metronomic breath with rapid fire toms and a dynamic kick. 'Absolutely Raving' closes out the first of Parker's 'Dance Music' samplers offering a rave leaning techno weapon that wouldn't be out of place in the hallowed grounds of Berghain.

Seven exquisite deep house cuts for you by producer Toyin Agbetu. A forgotten hero responsible for some of the most exquisite music out there. Break out Belgian house producer Sjef Wanders follows recent heavily supported appearances on New York's Nurvous Records and 124 Recordings with Don't Front, a two track 12" primed for club play on the Deso Records label. "Don't Front" is deep and dubby house music emboldened by banging low end and it's well complemented by a remix from label owner Desos. The Dane takes things deep in typical fashion, adding a little New Jersey swing and flavour to proceedings .

'Jump Trax' is another essential piece of early Chicago house music crafted by the legendary Duane Thamm JR back in 1984. Fusing together a myriad of influences including early 80's Euro pop, Italo Disco and HI NRG, Thamm JR was responsible for helping create and influence the burgeoning House sound that would emanate from the city all throughout the second half of the 1980's. Not only were these sounds new and fresh, they were experimental too, 'Jump Trax' sees the BPM's gradually shift throughout the duration of the tracks seamlessly giving the more adventurous DJ's out there more ammunition and room to experiment with styles and BPM's. A truly visionary approach to production and all recorded and mixed within Chicago's city limits by Thamm JR at his Reel To Reel Studio located in Villa Park, Illinois. 'Jump Trax' continues to be as influential today as it was back in '84, with many top DJ's still citing the record as a 'go to', powerful indeed.

Chicago's Still Music are proud to present this fully legit, remastered and repressed piece of Chicago house history. A truly pivotal record now made available again for 2018. Essential sound for those who love the real deal - snoozing not advised, OG copies of this monster are hard to come by!

Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, DJ Aakmael's profile has steadily risen over the last decade thanks to his supremely classy deep house sounds. Recent times have seen him release excellent material on the likes of Freerange Records, Axe On Wax, Church and Release Sustain, and now he makes his debut on Monologues Records with two deep cuts. 'Dahlin' is a string-laden stomper while 'Organik' is more of a synth-driven jam with some of his exquisite trademark keys improvisation. Leon Revol returns to the label after his well-received 'Embers' EP to rework 'Dahlin' in wonderfully introspective, hazy style, while label boss Ben Gomori steps up for a chunked-up, darkly-tinged rework of 'Organik'.

005 is the 'Remakes E.P.' from Spanish producer and rising star Kresy. Here we find Voltereta, a track that honours the grand techno Martian and That Thing, a track that reveals its influence proudly.

The E.P. is completed by Is and Tumaca Disco. Two tracks that best define the sound of an artist who has already shown his talents on labels including Freerange and More Music and led to him becoming one of the shining producers within the Hivern Discs team, captained by John Talabot or Marc Piñol.
