After turning heads with their first three releases, Tape Archive's fourth release is its boldest yet: a thrilling five-track traversal across genre boundaries that finds the label occupying a sound all of its own and further identifying it as one of Berlin's most vital new imprints.

Flying high after their successful Watergate 22 compilation, Catz N' Dogz return to deliver eight exclusive tracks from their mix via two EP's showcasing their expert ability to navigate a multitude of different styles. EP #1 commences with Catz 'N Dogz original 'Fire Burning When We Are', a tune that sees them flying solo to create a stunning journey that lands somewhere sonically between Carl Craig and Henrik Schwarz where infectious drums reinforce an ensemble of dramatic harmonies tangling with euphoric melodies. 'Afterglow' follows suit with an attitude infused vocal from Shaun J. Wright laid over a trek into a world where 'Old School' vibes meet a 'New School' plan of attack resulting in an absolute floor filler perfect for any time. Rounding out the EP are remixes from two of the best: Prosumer and Sebo K. Prosumer steps up first to rework 'Fire Burning When We Are' and creates a massive tune with the signature Prosumer touch, evident in the timelessness and maturity of the reimagining. Sebo K in turn hands over a Jackin' remake of 'Afterglow' by staying true to the original by keeping everything as simple as possible, but not simpler.

Detroit Techno legend Anthony "Shake" Shakir is a person who should need no introduction. He has been a long time veteran of the scene since the late 1980's, releasing music using many different pseudonyms and working alongside other heavy hitters including; Carl Craig, Keith Tucker, Juan Atkins and many more throughout his long career. A career that has seen him consistently on the cutting edge of Techno, releasing ground breaking records, setting up seminal record labels and building near mythical status within the global electronic music community.

The "Club Scam EP" was originally released in 1993 and lead track "That's What I Want" is based around an inspired chopped up vocal sample lifted from the B-52's 1982 underground hit "Mesopotamia" used here to devastating effect across 2 different mixes and featuring Shake's trademark Garage-like skippy drum programming. "The Ying & Yang" and "My Mantra" are much deeper affairs, 2 variations of the same track building slowly into cascades of insistent drum programming and futuristic Detroit pads while retaining enough bounce to rock even the staunchest of dance-floors. Basically, the "Club Scam EP" is the real deal, a true connoisseurs record, one for the heads, but one for the feet also, Shake's music manages to stimulate the mind and make you want to dance at the same time. Legendary stuff indeed.

Christian Löffler has already released two critically acclaimed albums, 'Forest' in 2012 and 'Young Alaska' in 2014'. Both of which received major recognition and support.

His next EP 'York', forthcoming on 2020Vision narrowly avoided disaster after the laptop containing the demos was lost. After much perseverance, copies of the tracks were found and the EP came together. Perhaps it was this fated start to 'York' that imbues it with such a euphoric and stunning poignancy. Either way, Löffler has proved himself to be a compelling producer and after years of creating and releasing music he has become recognised as one of the best in the business.

'York' complies with the consistency of his deep and emotive approach to production, makinghim synonymous with both a lightness of touch and a melancholia rarely heard in other producers.

While he manages to imbue all three tracks with a familiar rolling fluidity, cloaked in all-consuming, idiosyncratic soundscapes, the title-track emerges as the most club ready of Löfflers productions. Christian has an undeniable capacity to create these breath-taking orchestral compositions.Withthe exquisite quality of this release and an EP launch in London Hoxton on the 14th of March alongside the 2020Vision crew, 2015 is set to be an explosive year for Löffler.

After the sweat-soaked throwback fervour of his 2015 debut LP, Unknown To The Unknown and Hot Haus main man DJ Haus returns to Rinse for a brand new 10-track album, "Artificial Intelligence". Working at a formidably high rate of productivity, Haus returns with this new record less than 12 months after his last; and he shows no signs of slowing down, maintaining his reputation for creating hard-edged dance anthems that leave a lasting effect on the dancefloor.

Each of the album's 10 tracks take on a life of their own, as DJ Haus mutates his own nostalgic influences through rave, acid basslines, detroit techno and more to create something with each track that's genuinely innovative, but no less devastating in the dance. Using Haus' broad sonic palette, "Artificial Intelligence" harks back to golden eras of dance music without ever seeming pastiche, with DJ Haus splicing pre-existing genres to produce hybrid sounds that are rooted firmly in the future. Collaborations with the likes of Arun Verone and DJ Octopus & Steve Murphy utilise their signature quirks, integrating them into Haus' creations to fabricate something completely unique.

Opening to the frenzied sounds of acid house, "Feels So Good" instantly consolidates the producer's deft ear for a purpose-built vocal sample. Using typically overlaid embellishments as rhythmic elements, DJ Haus utilises repetitive vocals & high-octane rave stabs to create a natural movement that's sure to heat up clubs worldwide. "Got Me", a collaboration with midlands-based tech house don Arun Verone, brings to the forefront an intensely percussive beat that's progressively anchored by acidic basslines, adding weight to the production's abrasive drum line.

For all the album's nods to the golden eras of classic genres, "Artificial Intelligence" doesn't veer away from experimentation, with the pummeling percussion of "Pump It" soon to be running up heartbeats nationwide, the 8-bit computer game-esque sounds of "Blip Blorp", and the paranoid chimes of "Artificial Intelligence". As one of the most productive artists in the club scene, DJ Haus has pooled from a huge pool of inspirations and dipped back in time to the most misty-eyed moments of rave culture to present "Artificial Intelligence"; an album that's deadly, hard-bodied and most importantly, like nothing out there in the club stratosphere right now.

Steve Murphy returns to Hot Haus with 3 tape saturated lo-fi-houz bombs! Teaming up with DJ Octopus on Man In The Box and 2 cold hard jack trax on the flip make this a 'must have!' for any discerning house deejay.
