"Don't Stay Still" is the debut EP of Trim Records in Amsterdam. We chose Amsterdam because we believe in the 'vibe' of this fantastic city and the growing underground culture. The label comes from the passion for music, vinyls, and freedom to have fun

Na Zrak Records presents its third vinyl release Various Artist called “Into the Cave” by herck, Bryz, Sebastian Eric and Djosh.
Them Genre propose is a kind of minimal with influences even techno characterized by the important groove. Surely it is a very recognizable sound and different from what is mainstream but we also like to involve artists coming from other musical worlds in our project, however, to try to give a product as colorful as possible of all the nuances that music can have.

The fifth edition of Defected’s vinyl series commits the labels biggest digital releases to wax, delivering upfront packages of house heat previously unavailable on vinyl. This springtime release delivers all the summer stompers you need on your sound system, with the A-Side featuring Ferreck Dawn, Robosonic & Nikki Ambers’ ‘In My Arms’ and Mat.Joe & Kid Enigma’s ‘Get Loose’; two sure-fire party starters. On the flip are two tracks from man of the moment OFFAIAH. First up is his collaboration with vocalist Cat Connors ‘Somewhere Special’, where the Las Vegas based artist delivers a deep, rolling bassline and tension-building drops. Up next is his 2018 smash ‘Push Pull’, another record ready to set the club alight this summer and beyond.

It is 20 years later and this record still stands the test of time.
I distinctly remember when this record dropped it was a huge game changer, and really put the thick tripped out sound of the West Coast on the map, and created a sound that would be imitated for a
while to come.

In the mid to late 90’s there were records by Dj Buck, Doc Martin, Leaf Recordings, Wicked, Come Unity etc that laid the foundation to this record by bringing the sound of the whole coast to the world. On “Hear Dis Sound” there was this perfect blend of the artwork done by Skribblez and this rich dubbed out party rocking set of tracks that captured something that had yet to be seen or heard on such a large scale as such a pivitol moment in the lineage of dance music.

This record opened so many doors for so many of us all over the world, whether you call it “West Coast house” or whether it fit into the new genre known as “Tech House” is irrelevant- it was a massive hit.
At the time this came out, I knew Hipp-e from the days of the underground rave circuit in North America from the 90’s and I didn’t really know Halo at all then as he was more a part of the midwest
North American scene, originally hailing from Chicago before moving to San Diego.

Their success was almost over night after this record dropped, they were a global phenomenon. About the same time Peace Division had also kind of honed in on this type of sound with a double pack, but their take- a more UK style and I think each others successes piggybacked each other. You literally had these 2 production duos pop out around the same time with a comparable vibe and people wanted more of this type of stuff to play, and thus that sound and movement was born. For the anniversary the original mix has had a set of remixes from artists who truly understand how to bring new life to this project. Each remix brings something new and unique to the legacy of this track. The first remix from the Romanian Duo- Livio and Roby has a very interesting modern,yet classic take.

The deepest and most musical of the package, this rendition ditches the dub elements for a more straight to the floor groove that develops into this vintage almost Larry Heard esque piano riff, string section accompaniment and rolling synth bass. Its a highly developed excursion into the real deep house sound from the 90’s. Next up we have Yoyaku and Irenic’s Roger Gerressen bringing us a warm rich percussive outing.

He himself is known for these deep stripped down drum grooves with ever evolving pads and dubbed out elements, so his take on this captures the feel of the original, perfectly melding it to his trademark
pads and shuffle hats that we have come to expect from this staple of the underground.

Parisian mainstay D’Julz does what he does best, forward driving bass, hints of dub, and this evolving groove that takes you on a journey style arrangement. I remember about 5 years ago I wanted a rip of this and he had one, its like fate that he remixed it.
Per Hammar bring forth his futuristic forward thinking approach to the project, tight clean production and that swirl of soundscapes often heard in the projects. His track builds and builds to this pivitol
breakdown that is sure to destroy any dancefloor, and swiftly right back into a nod to the original.

The head honcho at Fuse- Enzo Siragusa brings his signature style of pumping pulsating grooves sweet dichotomy of introducing lush chords in the breakdown. He then pulls it all back into the meat of
the track and back into the chords again. This rendition has a type of feel akin to a vintage Mood2Swing dub. This has a nice balance that would work amazing in a club setting or in an underground warehouse.

Following the huge success of the second release ‘Volar La Pluma’ (digital only), Ninetoes’ Head To Toe imprint once again turn to the founder to deliver another stellar production. Dropping also on vinyl, the collection comes with two remixes from Ezikiel and Berlin’s Oskar Jehlmann.

The original features a quirky melody which sticks with you throughout its entirety, partnered alongside the occasional string line entering the scene and a hydrid groove of breaks and house that combine with ease.

Ezikiel’s rework totally flips the melodic elements, scattering them over a more upbeat, minimalistic rolling house groove that grows and grows to create pure euphoric moments. Rattling snares enhance the builds in sublime form, leading you in to the final climatic drop.

The last of the three, Oskar Jehlmann’s version lowers the tone and ups the tempo, bringing the Berlin and warehouse vibes straight to the dance floor. Liquid rides and a thumping kick carry you over gritty bass hits before the original melody enters in a somewhat more stripped back form.

HTT003 continues the label’s path of delivering quality dancefloor driven underground dance music.

Ninze & Okaxy`s "Blurry Mind" , a frame of their impressions & work , as sine qua non for every listener, and a memory of all their travels over the past year. For the last half a decade NINZE & OKAXY have been establishing a significant and experimental sound, self-branded Ketapop, by creating a spherical, yet melancholic atmosphere with a distinctive deepness and complex sound patterns. As part of the Laut & Luise family, and working their magic with side-project WIDE AWAKE.The Blurry Mind EP contains three unreleased tracks and plus the Soundcloud hit Four that is now officially published.

Runemark Records comes back with yet another vinyl and the twelfth release in the label catalogue which combines two probably the most creative and popular artists from Lithuania - Ten Walls and Daddy Was A Milkman. The duo's collaboration has lead into a strong and beautyful EP called Hidden' and includes two original compositions and a remix from Ten Walls. The title track lifts above reality and holds energy with tight rhythms, deep atmosphere and crystal vocals on top. Suitable for every dancefloor as well as to enjoy privately. The second original composition in the pack is called Airglow'. It's another strong statement and is no less than the title track. Last but not least comes Ten Walls' remix for Ink' that can be found in Ten Walls Queen' album vinyl edition. Cozy and at the same time massive sounding remix is even more calibrated for the dance floors than the original. Ten Walls delivers highest quality as always. “Levitate” by Nick Devon & Soul Button opens the series with this masterful track and sets the tone for what’s to come. “Parallax” by Clawz SG & Strinner, gradually heats up and invites you on a journey through an abundance of progressive beats and synths, infused with melodic flares. “Centaurus” by Soul Button & Monarke, with its pulsating rhythm and synth echoes, will leave you hypnotized. The final contribution comes from Dahu & Soul Button, with the track “Sentient”. The two artists have brought their most powerful elements to the table. A true reflection of raw feelings and energy.

Following up on the release of his first album in eight years, Agoria has collaborated with enigmatic French musician Jacques on new EP ‘Visit’, out 14th June.

The two-track offering pairs electronic elements with organic, real-world sounds to masterful effect. Title track ‘Visit’ is the best example of this, with a wonky beat trudging through a plethora of immersive sounds. Meanwhile ‘Jardin’, with a grooving bassline, has a greater dancefloor focus.

“The first time I met Jacques, we were sitting at the same table but we didn’t exchange any words,” Agoria explains. The second time, a year later, we started speaking. A lot. During hours. About Vipassana, a technique of meditation that you practice in silence. The third time, I thought I should share his words and breaths, delivering the untold. So I offered him to record a Sapiens Talk. The fourth time, we both agreed it was finally time to record music together.”

Jacques is a musician who pushes back the border between music, sound and noise, using music as a medium of expression on his quest of transversality. Invited to several TEDx conferences to talk about his obsession with the idea of infinity, he has also revealed his new theory called “Vortex”, which he created with Alexandre Gain in 2015.

His first album in eight years, Agoria described Drift as “sitting on your sofa between your guilty pleasure and your tasteful opinion”. The deeply melodic 10-track LP came off the back of a much-lauded Essential Mix for Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show, which was later nominated for Essential Mix Of The Year.

The new release comes amidst Agoria’s first ever Ibiza residency, which kicked off on 31st May at the Blue Marlin. Named after the new album and featuring everyone from DJ Harvey and Gerd Janson to Groove Armada and Idris Elba, the unique day-to-night parties will take place every Friday until 27th September. He will also take his all new live show on tour this summer, with dates including Barcelona’s Primavera Sound, Belgium’s Pukkelpop and Lowlands Festival in Amsterdam.

Vuew’s artistic vision is to curate a platform where forward-thinking meets the arts of organic and detailed-orientated underground dance music that dominates Southern & Baja California. Lefthook and Paulo embody that vision with their Once in the West EP.

Manchester based Rudosa has been around for almost a decade, quietly building a nice catalog of releases signed to Intec, Suara and Second State. Not to forget collecting multiple Beatport top 10s and support from iconic producers including Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, ANNA, and Amelie Lens. His no nonsense approach to Techno lead to this debut 4 track release on Terminal this September, after his debut on the labels VA earlier this year.
Opening with the title track ‘Heavy Rotation’, it’s an emotionally charged, acidic roller. Warehouse drums and wild open hats playfully minge with sharp pads, vocals and stabs. ‘Primo’ continues apace. Stadium-sized sonics and a kettle drum kick drive the track as it thunders on into the dark recesses of the club. ‘Delusions’ is a trippy, trancey cut. Wild melodics weave among the sparse percussive layers creating a softer, but no less engaging mid-set showstopper. Finally, ‘Adapted’ ties up the EP in epic fashion. A very rounded release package that offers a ton of energy with depth.

Deep, soulful and techy treats by meaestro Eric Ericksson. Eric has been releasing his music since the early nineties on labels like Fragile and Planet E. In resent times Eric's music can also be found on Papa Records, Local Talk and Freerange, to name a few. An elegant four tracker that starts out with the uncompromising and crude track 'Greed', followed by 'Acquiescence' with it's sharp and classy shuffles, lush strings and big sounding pads. The flip side starts of with 'Totality'. Complete, raw sounding with morphing dubby stabs, combined with rough grooves and punching beats. The EP ends off with the pulsating, dreamy and sensitive track 'Closure'. Nothing is left by chance when Eric shows his vision and approach for modern electronic music.

Caposile Music is the label of the infamous Italian party of the same name. The first release is signed by resident DJ and co-owner Francesco Maddalena with a sick remix by one of their regular guest Traumer.

Plump is fat positive, sex positive, queer positive, feminist and anti racist with a focus on centering underrepresented and marginalized voices. Think feminist Ghetto Tech, uplifting while militant, raw and empowering. A place of refuge for everyone who has ever felt unseen or excluded no matter gender, colour or creed.

Plump is about an attitude and ethos, more than it is attached to a genre specific sound. Plump is about radical acceptance. Plump is a return to the origins of dance music as a space for people from all walks of life to be able to come together, embrace joy, pleasure and be free to truly be themselves.

Plump is a creative partnership and collaboration between Kevin Knapp and Jessica “Hutch” Hutcheson, AKA Hutchtastic. Hutch is a visual artist, vocalist, Detroit native, burgeoning producer and overall performer and art personality. Kevin Knapp is music producer, DJ and vocalist, with a slew of releases on formidable labels in the dance music industry.

Kevin also has a new streaming show on Dirtybird Live called Plump’d. The Plump’d livestream show originates from Berlin and is created by Kevin & Hutch.

"Plump'd is an opportunity I've been gifted in the wake of the world shutting down due to the pandemic. Life is funny that way when life closes some doors it opens others. I've been given the opportunity to host a show every Saturday night during the prime time slot, on Dirtybird's Twitch channel for Dirtybird Live. Each week my hope is to have artists I respect, revere, and consider a friend to come on and play some music with me, just for the love of the music. The show is named after our new record label and carries with it the label's ethos of going back to the roots of dance music as a place of radical acceptance."

Camea returns with the third release on her Neverwhere imprint, titled 'Vanish', this Spring. In her new single, she digs deep on her drum machine into Studio 1-esque territory, using alluring classic minimal techno grooves as a back drop for her seductively soulful, selfconflicted vocals. Camea not only captures a timeless micro-house vibe in this piece, but she continues to push her sound forward as well as her love for avant-guard techno. Up next is Delft imprint boss, LA-4A, best known for his analogue vintage Roland drum machine productions. He has laid down an irresistible 303 break-beat club mix of Camea's track in the A2 spot. His dance cut of her vocals over bass driven percussion is a perfect counter piece to the original, and compliments the sound from his recent acid techno album 'Phonoautograph'. On the flip side, Berlin techno legend and Ostgut Ton/Berghain resident Tobias. gives his graceful interpretation. He has reworked the original into a tasteful, dark, spacious 8-minute minimal techno piece, with percolating panning and filters on the vocals. As usual with Tobias., he clearly conveys his undeniable expertise and instinct for exquisite dance music. With this release, Camea is also marking the 2nd anniversary of her cult Neverwhere Radio show this Spring, having produced twenty-four, two-hour episodes with exclusive DJ mixes and guests. The show currently has residencies on Digitally Imported, Tsugi Radio and Ibiza Sonica, and Camea has quickly established herself as a driving force in the left-field techno community, and a passionate advocate of underground radio.

As connected arrives at its 3rd year of existence the team decided to make a selection of tunes through this time as a recap and as an opportunity to also turn some of the tunes into remixes.The remixes , including Olaf Stuut , Tim Engelhardt , Stefano Ritteri , Reboot and Moscoman will be released on vinyl alongside a brand new track from label heads Stereo Mc's and the first appearance on Vinyl of classic connected release 'Lust' by Tigerskin K.E.E.N.E and Elli (David Mayer Remix). The label has been building steam over the last few years with increasing vigour and the remix release follows the label ethic with a diverse and underground feel to it plus some strong club action. 1. Re.You - They Vibed feat. Lazarusman (Olaf Stuut Remix) Amsterdam native Olaf Stuut delivers a stripped down remix, that comes as a real musical journey. The track is mainly driven by a repetitive 808 drum beat, housed in an arrangement that is packed with sound design and work on the detail. With his latest releases Olaf has been exploring the borders between experimentation and club functionality, and so he's doing here. The original track is cleary recognisable by the distinctive voice of The Lazarusman, but Olaf creates a reinterpretation that is very pure, minimal and unique.

2. David Mayer - Drained feat.Sooma (Tim Engelhardt Remix) Tim Engelhardt's remix of David Mayer 2017 banger 'Drained' featuring vocalist Sooma goes straight to the dancefloor. The driving bassline and organic percussion create a strong foundation for the club. Giving a lot of room to Sooma's voice over the whole track and adding an atmospheric strings arrangement in the break, Tim manages to combine his musicality with pure club joy.

3. Aaaron , Hazel and Carolina Melean - Entropy (Reboots Entaclepuss Rework) Frank Heinrich aka Reboot delivers a remix in typical and well- known manner. Groove, groove and again groove, a lot of love for drum arrangements, plus a bit of weird modulation on the vocal are making up this great remix. This piece doesn't have a loud eccentric nature but grabs your attention over time and is not going to leave you until it's over. This remix of Aaaron's 2016 classic seems to be perfect for a Dj Set of smooth transitions where you just get lost in groove and rhythm.

Florian Busse -Jamieja feat.Lisette Santiago (Stefano Ritteri Turkish Rave Remix) Stefano Ritteri's first appearance on connected comes with a lean neo disco infectious rave workout which is taking the original to a completely new place. Mainly carried by a funky bassline and classy drum machine patterns, the flute-like synthesizer introduces an unexpected oriental flair to this remix. It feels like a daring undertaking which comes out great in the end.

5. David Mayer -Movement (Moscoman Remix) Moscoman's twist on David's 2017 release is a piece of playfulness in every aspect. Mainly made of repetitive marimba and xylophone melodies and classic house piano chords, this remix is giving a modern, timeless touch to the original track. You could call it an uncontrolled madness or the creation of a wild summer anthem.

6. Stereo Mc's- Light At (Original Mix) The ever elusive Stereo Mc's provide a new original track to the package that is driven by a dirty 8bit beat and comes as a analogue deep journey. A continuous hihat-loop keeps you on the rail here, on your way through fading snyth textures that create a very special atmosphere. Vocalist Rob is twisting his vocals with a daring, eastern melodic edge paving the way to a long hypnotic breakdown.

7. Tigerskin,K.E.E.N.E ,Elli - Lust (David Mayer Remix) Having spent most of 2017 on dancefloors worldwide and at the top of any club charts, here it is on glorious vinyl. A real classic on connected which deserves to be rediscovered again this year.

Adam Pits, what's not to love. It was a pretty easy decision for us to call the remixes in for a record that had everyone wafting. Firstly, for those of you that missed out last time around we figured it'd be a nice touch to have the original mix of "International Wafter" to kick us off. As they say, if it's nice - play it twice. Label mainstay and pal from across the pond, Ciel, takes the title track and entices us down the rabbit hole. Layering it up with an eery vocal and simply - we love it. Over on the flip Roza Terenzi turns in her signature hedonistic blend of future squelch and thumping 5am elbow burners. It'll get you going. Our lad, Seb Wildblood closes out proceedings with almost a prime era *cough* Innervisions *cough* peak time, low end, percussive blinder. It's really great. We will continue to waft, regardless of the weather.

Motordiscs is a various artists record serie created by the people behind Garage. The parisian club was shut down during summer 2018 but its spirit continues with Motordiscs: Putting artists together and promoting independant electronic music has always been the credo and is now continuing on records.

The releases goes both digital and vinyl. Motordisc 2 features tracks from Sascha Funke, Modular Project, Massimiliano Pagliara, Concret & Cantor.

Our fifth release comes again in the form of a three track EP. This time delivered by Stefano Di Carlo. The Ep is reflective of the early Italian Progressive movement hailing from Rome and spreading into the rest of Italy. The movement was created mostly by Di Carlo and his accomplices after returning from London where they where living for some years, producing house and techno. This unique sound lays in the grey zone that was created coming back from London, experimenting the new sounds before eventually moving into Progressive and Hard Trance. Stefano first started working in music production studios back in the 80's where highly acclaimed producers in Rome found in him exceptional skills in compositions and arrangements. The skills can without doubt be heard through much of his discography and the wonderful EP he wrote for us.

OTO Casa Discografica celebrates Italy s hidden treasure and hometown: Bologna, the city that gave birth to the most creative italian cultural movements since the mid sixties.Contemporary art, comics, design, music You name it, we made it before, better and wilder ! Bologna host the greatest techno club in Italy, Link, where Angelo Sindaco (OTO boss label), Mayo (aka Abyssy) and Luca Ghini filled the dancefloor in the early nineties with a blend of Detroit techno, Chicago House, Electro and their own productions. Skank Bloc Bologna is a serie of limited 12s in the typical OTO fashion: each volume features four artists/producers from Bologna for a total of 3 issues. SKANK BLOC BOLOGNA VOL. 01 features: Sindaco and Carli Morettis OMBRA SILENZIOSA reworked by Pasta Boys honcho Uovo, Abissy (Mayo) with a pure analog Detroit style gem, a Luca Ghinis typical techno funk lick and, last but not least, Paolo Iocca from RA-1 Records with a dark, powerful dance stomp. A renegade rave at the state lines with dual headliners FSOM and Andy Rantzen.
Architects of the Future Sound of Melbourne, FSOM reigned as their city's scene evolved from un-derground clubs to vast waterfront wonderlands, alternating between playing studio tracks off cas-sette and jamming live. The combination of Josh Abrahams, Davide Carbone and Steve Robbins, the trio slipped a DAT to Belgian touring artist Frank De Wulf who signed them for their first international release on Two Thumbs. Track 6's sinister bassline and mind obliterating stabs continued to travel as a staple of Sven Väth and John Wink's record bags. 1993 to eternity.
Andy Rantzen's Harmonic Eye speaks a similar vocabulary. Running parallel to FSOM in Sydney, Rantzen united the masses with Paul Mac as Itch-E + Scratch-E, producing crystalline rave, cheeky breakbeat and techno resistance. Lifted off his downtempo 1999 solo CD The Blue Hour, Harmonic Eye is a certified warehouse burner of alarming alien bleep and widescreen trance. Once you were blind, now you can see.
