In the phenomenon of the wave, nature, and technology combine with great effect. For Adrian Rodd both are important, he draws the bow from the synthetic sound wave to the natural surf wave. The producer and filmmaker from Lanzarote has created the visual aspect of his debut for Cochlea Music not only in the EP title Waves, the opener Equilibrium was created directly as film music. Surrounded by ambient and trippy synth sounds, the short film about the surfer Andy Criere shows a colourful journey from blue to red, a romantic poem "Man, Sea, Earth, Fire" - churned up and set in motion by urban basses and beats.

Unlike the main track, Night in Gran Via, he follows the DJ, still vibrating from the Techno-Floor, after working all night through the main city street. From there it goes to Verbena and Taboo 3AM on a jump to the Dubstep, Lo-Fi and Trap-Parties. Adrian Rodd's music flirts not only with party goers, but also with people who arrive home late, drawing on his experience as a resident DJ in Madrid's Stardust Club, as well as the sounds and everyday life in the surfing and fishing village directly by the sea.

Between warm waves, Waves mixes local history with a melodic evolution of ambient and urban dance music from Brian Eno to Burial, ending the title track with a film which pays homage to the volcanic landscape of the canary island.

Manchester-based producer Mason Maynard is welcomed to Hot Creations to present McLovin’, featuring two tracks of equal magnitude that display his vibrant talent. Mason’s debut release on the formidable label is set for release on 10th April.

On the flip, the spellbinding Remedy features a snaking sub-bass complemented perfectly with the powerful vocals of Ursula Rucker. “In its original form the song featured an old acapella from Ursula, but when we were put in touch with each other we knew we wanted to create something completely fresh.”

Mason Maynard has already built himself an exceptional reputation, with his groove led productions backed by some of biggest names in the business including Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, Green Velvet, Skream and Seth Troxler. His releases on Repopulate Mars, DFTD, Sola and Relief (where he has collaborated with Green Velvet) have been supported heavily on BBC radio.

In 2019 he toured the world, with sets at EDC, Hideout, Creamfields and also across Ibiza during the summer. Praised homecoming gigs took place at Manchester’s Warehouse Project and in front of 15,000 in the Hangar at Parklife Festival.

2020 will see Mason go from strength to strength as he continues to tour the USA and announces his new FANTAZIA label. Working alongside USA electronic music heavyweights Insomniac, FANTAZIA is inspired by early acid and raving culture with a debut release dropping on 6th March.

The Dresden label Uncanny Valley celebrates its catalogue number 50 with a compilation series that stretches over several records. That's also a return to the beginnings of the label, which started in 2010 with four compilation records. The first record of the series is already a foretaste of an upcoming summer. With FANTA KORN TANKER Hessen's Golden Boy Lauer stomps through the club, while letting the magic speak through keys. SUMMER INTERLUDE by James Booth is playing out on an entire range of feelings, banging hard and showing off the European producer's Pop music sensibilities as well. On side b we have the two Dresden based producers Sandrow M and Will Dubner with their fun and funky bass line monster DISCO SCHLAMBONI. While Sandrow M is already established on the label with two solo EPs under his belt, it's the first outing from not-so-new-comer Will Dubner. Another new face is Berlin's Jules Etienne who contributes DUDE'S DEN, a first class Disco affair, complete with beguiling vocals and arousing percussions.

How BIG SHUG and one of his closest friends in the rap game Guru (R.I.P.) got inspired by dance music in some of the most iconic clubs of the times.

A devotion to extensive research of the history of club wear has been at the forefront of MISBHV’s design philosophy, since its founding in 2015 by creative director Natalia Maczek. Exploring the intersection of fashion and the 90’s underground the Poland-based collective with previous ties to Maison Martin Margiela, Balenciaga and Antwerp’s Royal Academy of Arts paint a landscape of roughness, fun, nostalgia and futurism in a subversive marriage of fashion and music. After collaborating with a diverse range of partners - from Unsound and CXEMA to Dixon’s Transmoderna, MISBHV will be releasing its first physical record in late April 2020.

The debut EP is intended as an open, collaborative space for artists connected with the label - bridging the world of music and design, taking the form of a one-off collectible - the distilled essence of MISBHV. The debut record brings together DJ Hell and Wolfram - with original work, remixes, as well as two exclusive “MISBHV Edits” courtesy of DJ Hell and Wirski. Contains the original, dub and accapella versions plus a whole host of 'Rhythm Tracks' written by Kevin Saunderson on the B side for creative DJ's to play with.

The debut release from Detroit native DJ Holographic and Detroit transplant Alex Wilcox, Parallel Shiftingstrives to changeour thoughts so that we can breakfree fromnegative psychological programming. This feel-good EP aimsto reprogram the mind to be fresh and new. You may experience dimensionalshifts in your mind and reality as you defy space and time. A powerful and lofty goal such as this deserves a strong beat, and A-side “Parallel Shifting” delivers this in spades. Featured in DJ Holographic’s 2020 Mixmag Lab set, Holographic and Alex found themselves inspired by Thomos and Derrick Carter when crafting the track. “Parallel Shifting” is about shifting the gears in our minds and hearts, and allowing ourselves to be open to changes in how we perceive reality.

With “My Feels,” Holographic expresses her current attitude towards the connections between all of us. “Our feelings control our surroundings and reality more than we give them credit for. When we feel abundant, abundant things happen to us. However, if you feel empty, then you bring about empty situations. As a DJ, I do my best to be mindful of the feelings I project into a room, while also being mindful of everyone in the room with me. Hitchhiker is an independent record label out of Detroit that delivers a diverse range of sounds, and strings them together into a story that reflects where the artist has been, is presently, and where the future is taking them.

A Bit Dandy EP is the first release to land on the seminal Hot Creations from sought after producer East End Dubs. Here he serves up three club-ready rollers that showcase his distinct production style, keeping in tune with the Hot Creations signature sound.

Well known for delivering slick and texturally rich tracks, East End Dubs sculpts each output to be a dynamic mix of function and form with a real sense of soul, and this delivery on Hot Creations is no exception. The vitality of his DJ sets have taken him across Europe, America and Australia. From Eastenderz Showcases in Berlin, New York, Ibiza and Zurich to fabric, DC10 and Amnesia Ibiza, he plays high profile gigs and international festivals, and always leaves his mark.

With new full-length RESTLESS (KOMPAKT 327 CD 123) under their belt, TERRANOVA already won over crowds and critics in 2015 - but that didn't keep them from reaching out to their extended network of friends to put together a bunch of tightly executed reworks. RESTLESS REMIXE 2 is the next chapter, following the strong lead of the first batch which included contributions from Danny Daze, Re.You and Adam Port (KOMPAKT 332) - the second instalment features cuts just as fit for service, coming from Terranova's FETISCH himself, veteran allies STEREO MC'S and an upcoming producer from Halle, Germany, KARL FRIEDRICH. The latter throws down the gauntlet, opening with his reimagining of SKIN & BONES - the captivating vocals from LYDMOR & BONHOMME don't show up for a while, but when they do enter the floor, they do so with style, weaving the original's introspective vibe into the fresh fabric of a punchy club remix. FETISCH follows up with his own version of KEPLER186F, appropriately titled 186FETISCH MIX. As founder and co-head of Terranova, he certainly knows where to apply the pressure - resulting in an energetic groover feeding off its thriving percussion and powerful bass injections. This leaves us with STEREO MC'S revamp of TWISTED SOULS featuring CATH COFFEY: the iconic UK dance crew does right by its former vocalist and turns the source material into a thrilling club drama in its own right, using only a Roland 808, a Bell Delay (one of the earliest samplers) and a Juno - no computers... and exactly the same vintage gear that they were deploying back in London 1990, when they first met Terranova. This mix wraps up a compelling package full melodic breaks, freaky effects and succinct arrangements ready to shake any punter from its tree house.

Finally we have achieved our important goal and got our 100th release from our main catalogue and our label heads ' The Deepshakerz ' present their new excellent single called 'House Want You' with the amazing vocal from Martin Wilson.

"RICE" is the party continued over 10 years in club MAGO, Nagoya organized by Tanukeep and G, met in
Berlin. Calling authentic and trusted guests like "Zip", "Sammy Dee", "Daniel Bell", RICE will finally starting
the vinyl label. First release will be the E.P composed by Goemon, a very close friend of both Tanukeep and G,
who lives in Nagoya. Included 2 tracks are all based on the grooves made by Roland legendary drum machine
"TR-606". Kept minimal and nicely composed with HOUSE music mannered bass and synthesizer. A-side is
simple and modern but rigid minimal track which strongly appeals the groove. Deep and "in to" taste track on
B-side. Both tracks express the party image and history of RICE. Indeed, this product success to package their
party it self. RICE will be continued releasing "Floor Like" records for club oriented people, with true and pure
insistence of their own style.

More than 1 year after their last 8bit outing the Italian duo Supernova returns to Gorge's and Nick Curly's imprint. This time with the help of Medusa providing her wonderful vocals on 'My Vision'.

Vril is still a relatively little known artist but already he has some great accolades to his name: He has released a couple of great EPs on Giegling sub label Staub, had a track on Marcel Fengler's Berghain mix, Dettmann's Conducted and now appears with the 103rd release on Delsin. What he serves up is three titanic techno tracks designed with maximum dancefloor damage in mind. So big are these productions that we got a message back from that well known mastering company in germany. For some mystified causes some of our expensive equipment was crashing during the mastering session (!). They've been mastering records since over 20 years and that has never happened before like this. The Vortekz EP starts with the title track and it's a dramatic bit of big room techno with nerve gangling chords and plenty of sonic grit. The dub version is slower and more purposeful and is buried in a much wider, deeper groove that snakes more than stomps. Finally comes 'y7/10', which rocks back and forth in the same rusted loop as percussion flutters like tin foil in a stormy wind. The track flows an ever-higher arc of tension that eventually erupts into a sea of analogue fuzz and hiccupping techno beats.

2018 has been a busy year so far for Ben Rau, after completing tours worldwide, including standout shows in Australia and South America, he has also found time to launch a new label META alongside his increasingly successful INKAL imprint.

After handing over the reins for the first Meta release to promote new talent and give them a platform to thrive in the form of Rhymos' Seizure EP', Ben brings the heat for the label's second offering with his Marauder' EP.A release that stays true to Ben's dancefloor roots,whilst also displaying a techier big room sound primed for larger dancefloors. The title track Marauder' is a technically impressive affair, full of rolling percussion and expert drum programming , tension builds throughout the track via an eerie swelling synth which finally culminate in an epic break that makes use of delayed vocals before the rolling tech-houser concludes with the a groove heavy finale that let's all the elements shine.

The second track from the EP, Phoenix', is another potent dancefloor weapon , led by a pumping acid line that is complimented by ever-evolving synth stab responses.
The main break of the B-side signals the introduction of a spoken word vocal that gives Phoenix' its name , Ben delivers another stand out track providing the hooky elements which are a strong trademark of Ben's sound.

Ben Rau continues to take charge of his own destiny, and with consistently strong releases dropping on his own labels , he continues to build his ever-burgeoning reputation. Grab your copy of 'Marauder' when it is released via META.

The fourth AF Trax release is a three-track EP from our long time ally The Fantastic Twins, who has the following to say about her EP:

This EP is a small collection of works I crafted over the past couple of years in the process of working on my live show. I have been performing versions of these tracks countless times and yet never played them twice the same way. To me, they have been material in constant motion, so shaping them into a 'finished' form was a risky challenge. Something I was also wary of - would it mean they would become set in stone Would it mean I'd have to somehow 'rationalise" the music - via the mind - as opposed to letting it run into the wildness of its physical live experiences

Whilst editing these tracks into a format that could be released, I realised that instead of shaping them into the mould my mind first intended to give them, I could in fact use the power they revealed each time I performed them to an audience and inject some of that energy - as much as it is possible to capture and recreate it in the studio - back into this EP. Then of course, it meant letting go on things I usually like to control more, and better.

But isn't it the power of music to let it take you where you didn't plan to go And how incomplete would the music be if our inspiration didn't feed off the collective experience of dancing to music together I've lost myself (and my twins) many times throughout the process - not only on German soil - I have sometimes landed in the wrong place, but I may have found one answer yet in the form of another question. Why are we here if we can't dance

That reminds me of the words of Pina Bausch 'Dance, dance or we are lost'. Lost in our internal struggles as individuals (or imaginary twins). Lost in a society where our relation to the other is often marked by fear, power or violence. We feel the need to resist. Yet nowadays, taking a political stance as an artist is too often being instrumentalised as another tactics or accessory to gather more popularity, reducing the political message to nothing else but a branding attempt. Isn't it anyway the power of capitalism to assimilate everything, even contradictory or once-upon-a-time subversive voices All to end up on a 'Rave' or 'Feminist' H&M t-shirt. Slogans that have been emptied of their initial force and substance, now replaced by their commercial value. I strongly doubt that more empty words poured in vain on social media will help us much. But, like Pina Bausch, like JD Twitch, I have always firmly believed in dancing as a physical, social and fundamental act that leads us to share a common space with others and embrace otherness. Standing together, dancing together when everything else forces us to divide.

Driving and funky dub house/techno "lofi" excursions from an excellent North American producer starting to rise up.

After a decade wandering away from the Dance music scene, Julien Jabre returns with an emotional voyage through "Samana". The A side opens on the Levant mix where a nostalgic yet hopeful theme takes a ride on solid minimal drums. The horizon sucks the swell and the fleet fades away with "Far at Sea" on A2. The B side plays a more drums/beats oriented edit of "Samana" infused by clubhead friend Lazare Hoche. Julien relaunches his own imprint with this release and many others to follow.

Very rare and awaited solo material from the label maestro Lazare Hoche, Reaching almost a decade of high-hitting productions, Lazare Hoche unveils the mighty Time Guard on his own LHR imprint. This release sees Lazare at his best and proves once again why he is still riding high at the top.

Ben Sims's Hardgroove imprint hits its 30th release and 20th year of operations with the beginning of a new split EP series entitled 'Toe to Toe', with Vol.1 provided by Mella Dee and Subradeon. The UK's Mella Dee has developed a strong rep for robust club sounds via his aptly titled Warehouse Music imprint in recent years while the Berlin-based Subradeon duo have been dropping slick Detroit influenced sounds for Motech, Rekids and their own eponymous imprint.

MOTHER RECORDINGS don't let up on the release schedule pressure as they look to returning label artists MAT.JOE for a new two tracker. This Berlin based duo are one of the most talked about duos on the circuit at the moment with releases on Toolroom, Hot Creations, as well as MOTHER in the last 6 months. The single kicks off with Marc Houle's remix & in typical Marc Houle fashion is a wonderful slice of electronic techno in which a funky bass-line, tight rubber beats & atmospheric effects work around the original 303 acid line. Next Noel Jackson ups the tempo, reworks the bass-line, the pads & effects of the original into a real Detroit workout that's an immediate dancefloor winner. Lastly on the flip side Chloe again uses the original parts to perfect affect to take her mix deeper.
