2017 was the breakout year for Fisher. His first single, 'Ya Kidding', was one of the top tracks of the year across the board, including #3 overall on Sirius XM's Electric Area for the year,and his follow up EP, 'Stop It' is still kicking around the Top 10 and was dubbed the 'Track of the Ship' on this year's Holy Ship cruise, and with 'Crowd Control' he went 3 for 3.

For Record Store Day we're issuing this special vinyl release from Fish, 'Ya Didn't Go And Do It Again Did Ya'. Featuring the 'Oi Oi' EP and 'Crowd Control' available for the first time on vinyl.

LET Amsterdam head honcho and De School resident JP Enfant returns to Mojuba Sub label a.r.t.less for his second release "Virtus EP". JP delivers three crafty, atmospheric, uplifting, highly effective 1990s Detroit Techno futurism schooled tracks for you, enjoy!

After Oliver's and Fran's track "Echoes" already received the full remix treatment it is now the slow jazzy trip-hop ballad "I Might" that gets cured for the dancefloor.

The new Mojuba brings some fresh tunes from the always reliable Oracy. The title track 'Rewound' is a deep and warm excursion into the sound cosmos that was build on the heritage of Detroit and Chicago. The flipside is called 'Hold Me' and comes along as peak time cut with some hypnotic disco elements and a phat bassline to proof some serious floor qualities! That's how we like it!

The brainchild of Damian Lazarus, Crosstown Rebels has become home to many big hitters. Following on from his remix of Satori earlier this year, Riva Starr delivers his own, three-part tribal beast, ADVENTURES IN DRUMS.
MY AFRIKA opens up the EP with what would appear to be a tribal leader commanding your attention as the wobbly synths draw you in. As the heady bass kicks in you can't help but succumb to the rhythm. On EUROVOODOO, alien sounding synths are weaved amongst high hats luring you into a trance-like, hypnotic state. EL SONIDO leans towards a faster, flamenco style sound with tribal singing beckoning you to the dancefloor.
Riva Starr is the alias of East London based Stefano Miele. He has long been a staple in the club scene bringing dancefloor fire to some of the world's biggest stages, from Glastonbury to Japan's Fuji Rock. His credibility as an artist has led to collaborations with some of the industry's biggest players, including the likes of Green Velvet, as well as remixing for a number of high-profile musicians such as Wiley and London Grammar. Founder of Snatch!, 2017 was a monumental year for the label having reached its 100th release.

Mojuba sub label a.r.t.less presents the second 12 by Munich Techno Duo Trap10. Three cuts of high quality Detroit influenced no nonsens Techno, ranging from heavy peak time action to subtle emotion ladden deepness, enjoy it!

When it comes to techno and tech house Wehbba is without any doubts Brazil´s number one poster boy. With countless strong releases on platforms like Intacto, 100% Pure and Tronic and a gamechanging remix for Laurent Garnier´s mega classic "Flashback" he has convinced all jocks and producers from a to z.

Now it´s time for a special concept EP series named "Systematic Shades" where Wehbba intents to connect and display different paintings with his own colors of music. Of course you can expect three Wehbba typical floor tracks which certainly work but close your eyes and imagine the colors which come into your mind!

Part Time Dreamers (SSBS001) is the first release on separate skills black series and comes with three excellent tracks. The A Side starts with a dubby sounding offbeat part before the kicks come in with exceptional metallic chords combined with some very nice 707 rimshots. The first track on the flipside has beautiful themes, raw toms and a subtle acid sounding line. A harmonicaly inter -pretation with sough and windy sounds, great deepness and perfect hi-hat settings are given at the last track on that side. A varied record with emotional, timeless and driving soundscapes.

After big releases from Lyssna's own Adam Stromstedt and Flord King, the Stockholm based imprint are proud to give you their first VA compilation: ZNA001. This time around they are showcasing some of their favourite artists. A-side kicks off with lekker Dutch producer Levi Verspeek, who has had numerous critically acclaimed releases on labels such as Apollonia, Raum Musik and RUIS, just to name a few. His track '256' takes you on a deep dancing journey.

It has a certain attitude about it that coupled with a rolling bass line carries you through to the end, creating the perfect vibe for the dance floor. A2 gives you newcomer Peshka from Ukraine. With his unique sound, his track 'Miracle' is a sophisticated and delicate minimal masterpiece, with strange vocal samples that make it perfect for those early morning sets. On the flip side, Lyssna hands the reigns back to their own heroes. B1 'Steff Off' by Flord King gives you a mellow and housy ride with dreamy chords and a jazzy bass line that pays homage to his musical background. With B2 'HM 2016', Adam Stromstedt makes sure his hypnotic sounds are being heard. Fine violins, breaking glass and his signature sampling methods make for a heady musical trip into his unusual mind.

Having released a number of tracks for on Level NO Zero, Cocoon, Escapism and Tanzbar, the german guy from Frankfurt, Matt Star finally breaks on our Rounqube Musik dropping his own EP after the appearance on the 2X12 Roundqube Family Anniversary. Radio EP is a crazy minimal microphunk four-tracker with 3 originals with precious bouncy remix of the main track reworked by the label ambassadors' Gabriele Carasco and Francesco Passantino.

An intense introspection of sound deconstructionism and spacial dissonance presented in this 4 track (plus 2 lock grooves) EP entitled Nonharmonic Beautifault. The A Side is introduced with the track 'Blank Hand', a sludge fuelled walk into dusty audio bites and asthmatic rhythms, topped with screaming hoovers and TV static that at once builds up, collapses into beautiful cacophony. Leading us into the 'Body Molecule' - A rushing pad and sparkling percussion pinned to a rolling kick pattern that drives this track toward a central point of attacking synths and swarming soundscape. The run out locked groove features a deep distorted kick that loops into infinity. The other side starts with 'Angular Beautifault'. Acidic Rhythms and Buzz Saw Synths all washed together into a shimmering reverberated cavern that explodes with high powered clap patterns and bubbling 303 lines. Following this we have 'The Burin' - an uncompromising, high paced assault of power kicks and slanted percussion. Incessantly driving and unyielding towards the final lock groove of distorted sub loop. Nonharmonic Beautifault represents a shift in Positive Centre's work that aims beyond the delicate ambience into harder and darker sound territories.

Derek Carr joins Subwax with a fine 4 track warm sounding EP, this one is carrying all of Derek's quality trademarks and here he proves once again he is the man of the moment.

After a steady stream of successful underground dance-floor stables via his Viscera EP series and last year climbing charts with his remixes, Fango returns with his second album titled "GEA". Set for release this forth-coming May 11th via Degustibus Music, GEA is a 10-track trip of eclectic electronica panning across various moods and tempos. Flexings his matured production credits, Fango fuses rock, disco and psychedelic influences, meticulously put together on his machines resulting in a spectrum of sounds to satisfy most palettes. It's a serenade from Gea to Ouranos, the Greek gods of earth and sky.

Quirke returns with three introspective tracks that take inspiration from philosophical queries and wonderment related to both the world we live in now, and that which we have inherited from those that came before us.

The MASTERS OF DISASTERS are T.RAUMSCHMIERE & DEADBEAT. The 2nd release brings you more crazy dancefloor action.

The next instalment in the My Rules catalog sees label owner Justin Van Der Volgen take on Japanese house legend Yukihiro Fukutomi aka Foog's techy club jam 'Flying'.

Originally available as a digital-only release, it's twisted into two exclusive new versions.
On the A-side edit, Justin travels down the less walked path of splicing and shortens the track, which along with his subtle drum additions tastefully amplify and sharpen the feeling of tension and release.
The B-side dub is a heavy bass and drum mix complete with flanged hissing hi-hats, alien claps and cavernous echoes.

The penultimate release on Optimo Trax (at least for now) comes from Tel Aviv's mighty Kalbata. I was already a big fan and was so delighted when he got in touch to see if I would be interested in releasing something by him. Unusually for Optimo Trax this is one track in 3 versions but each version is so different that often I play them all in one DJ set. Originally there were two versions but as Kalbata is a renowned master of dub (check out the documentary online about him recording in Jamaica), I gently persuaded him to do a no-holds-barred dub mix too which appears here as Enkuan pt 3.
A few words about the record from Kalbata -
I went to Ethiopia in the beginning of 2017 to record musicians. The most memorable one was Mulugeta Teshome who plays the Washint flute on this record. It's a traditional Ethiopian flute made out of wood, and Mulugeta came to the studio carrying a whole bag of them, each one in a different key. We chose the scale and started the recording session. I ended up taking the tracks a lot further with the three cuts on the record but really it all started that day, in a small studio shack in Addis Ababa.

A1- O.Xander with Paaliaq provides a subtle and analog house track. Percussive drums, 4 to the floor kick, slow acid bass-line, shy and hypnotic notes create a perfect club track .
A2 - Dome Zero by Sunn Boo is a melancholic and hypnotic house track. The subtle but really deep bass-line perfects the track. B1 - Maintain Illusions by the Paris based producer Raär, is a journey to the unknown. Harsh acid line, bumpy and jerky kicks, brillant hi-hats and hammering snare make you stagger.
B2 - Engaging Proxima-b by the Berlin based artist Ahi is spatial track. No drums, only pads, textures and fx to make you dive into an oppressive, heavy but beautiful journey.

Slowly but surely Christian Hornbostel became one of the main Kling Klong artists as this is already his 4. release with us since 2016. His latest techno styles vary from melodic and deep to banging and festival friendly and thats why we love him so much. And having Petar Dundov on board with his outstanding remix skills makes this release a very special one for us.

A moment anyone who's shared a dancefloor can recognise whether it's a festival arena, subterranean dark room or an illegal rave in a field, warehouse or any abandoned canvas between... Like the ones Cologne's Julian Stetter has come from. Unblock presents it's 7th release with another solid vinyl offering with this 4 track EP by two well established and respected producers. Tato (who also has his own success with his label Isgud Records) on the A side, and TIJN (Label boss of other vinyl only outlets such as In Haus Wax & self titled TIJN) on the B side.
A1.Estic has a deep underground percussive tribal balearic feel to it with rolling cool dark melodic synths and infectious moody pads that carry the energy solidly throughout the track
A2. Lusyormaind has a slightly lighter feel while still maintaining a deep groove over an intelligent key riff, a dirty baseline with a padded wholesome kick and a dark and sexy hypnotic arrangement with hat patterns providing that bit of light.
B1 . Tijn: Stranger Things has a lovely smooth authentic original house vibe with subliminal whispers. The hats and snares carry the swing seamlessly throughout this track.
B2. Piano Loop has a summer sunshine vibe to it with a pleasant repetitive warm piano loop layered with bright but smooth percussion over a subtle but effective baseline.

Belgian imprint Gents & Dandy's returns with a 2nd limited 12" vinyl release, only this time it's a 4 track VA sampler.

On the A-Side we start of with a track by Doug Gomez, who's no stranger to the label, and has previously released on Pocket Money, 124 Records, Offering & Frole.

Followed by a track by the fast rising Irish duo called KoJam (Embezzlement Society's Steven Mahon & Andrew Johnston).

Flip over to the B-Side where we find Roman Mühlschlegel from Karlsruhe. Label boss of Soul Estate and also one half of ODYSEA. He's had recent solo releases on Petra &Sinnmusik.

Final track on this release comes from Cologne based The Verticals who's Stuggy Vibes EP from last year still does very well. An allround varied release showcasing what the label is all about.

To celebrate Argot's fifth year of releases, we're launching a series of compilations boldly entitled 'American Dance Music". Argot's first ever various artists compilation continues its mission of showcasing homegrown talents, assembling a cast of familiar faces and welcome compatriots for the inaugural edition. 'American Dance Music Vol. 1 features the long anticipated return of the Black Madonna, who debuts her new collaborative project with Rupert Murray, Throwing Shapes. You'll recognize Argot stalwarts Savile, Olin, Todd Osborn, Maxine & Cleo, and Hippie Priest on the tracklist. We've also invited friends Noncompliant and Alex Falk to the fold. With future volumes we aspire to look even further afield and cast the spotlight on many diverse talents who make up American dance music. Much of 'American Dance Music Vol 1.' is aimed squarely at the dance floor, whether it's Todd Osborn's smooth and playful romp, '80s Are Here (Part 2)", or Noncompliant's acid tweaked ode to girls everywhere, 'Femslash". Throwing Shapes comes bursting from the gates with the raving stomp of 'Heatstroke", channeling Midwest raves as much as the Thomas Bangalter tunes inspired by them. Savile offers the growling stepper, 'Reality Is A Sound (Share Power Mix)", while Alex Falk's 'Vines' provides an effervescent vocal moment. Olin and Maxine & Cleo double down on hypnotic motifs: the former's '2D Rhythm' whips snare riffs off the walls of a late night jam; the latter's 'Imagine Yrself' catches dancers in a lockstep house groove with stimulating vocals as its key. The compilation concludes on Hippie Priest's 'Dream Machine", whose melancholic melodies and cinematic scale twiddle heartstrings with a deft hand. Following on from OTIS002 Jon & Hugh - Another view, one half of the production duo and OTIS label boss Hugh B steps out on his own for OTIS003. Floating On a Trippy Biscuit is a 4 track excursion through deep textures, roaming drum machines, sliced breaks and dub echoes. With a nod to early Jungle duos (RIP), a psychedelic love letter to UK Broken Beat, a remix from OTIS family member Sean Thomas that pays respect to the UK Deep scene of the late 90s and a deep, valium-laced House groove designed for post-rave reflection. OTIS003 is a dreamy meditation amidst the occasional chaos of the rave, a blissful trip through the styles of 'dance music' this label holds dear.

GlassTalk Records return, only 6 months after their debut release, with 'NxNW' from Kevin Arnemann. The Taped Artifact founder delivers a 4-track of icy minimal techno, highlighting his ear for the atmospheric.

'NxNW' EP is a confident statement of intent from the young 25-year-old producer. The deep understanding Kevin Arnemann has of the music he makes, born from the early introduction he got from his parents taking him to Awakenings Festival as an early teenager, is evident throughout this release. This EP is a welcome addition to GlassTalk's cannon of scheduled releases for the upcoming year.

Alpenglühen, the Madrid-based monthly nights, focused in Ambient techno, emerges in September,2014, inspired by the film "Dogville" and the optical phenomenon happening when the last ray of sunshine slowly disappears over the mountains,

Now, with the moto "exploring the thin line between darkness and light", Alpenglühen, the label, is born, influenced by those sessions.

The first installment is produced by the duo, Pajaro Dune. A young project formed by two well known talented producers from Valencia, who gives us a promising kick off release. 4 highly crafted tracks which are somewhere between techno (in its deepest and atmospheric stage), contemporary music and impressionistic electronics.

Partially inspired on the research by Konstantin Batygin and Michael E. Brown on the evidence for a planet the size of Uranus between 200 and 1000 AU far away from the Sun. The titles of the tracks are all but one real objects of our Solar System whose movement is theoretically affected by the presence of a distant giant planet yet to be discovered.

25 years of Distillery. That's a memory-laden, even historical event for underground and club culture. Or let's just say, culture in general. Getting into detail about the impact, this club had for the last quarter-century, would fill a couple pages, so let's just state the obvious real quick: Distillery has witnessed and co-determined socio-cultural change and progress in its past. Be it in its hometown Leipzig, basically building up the city's infrastructure for club culture over the years. Or be it on national or international scale. It carries a legacy of being one of the longest-serving and one of the most influential clubs in Germany. Period.

At the same time, it's focus always lies ahead, sensing trends, running a booking that intersects the big players with the up and coming of an underground electronic music scene. With the same spirit that supported DJ/producers on their way to international careers, it brings up new talent.

It is this spirit in particular that now finally led into the idea of mirroring the club's philosophy within the agenda of a record label. And as catalogue number one, unfolding a whole new chapter in Tille history, this anniversary compilation right here already nails what Distillery Records will be about. A conjunction of familiar faces and newcomers. A playground for residents, affiliates and just great artists that we like. An inclusive creative endeavour that covers a stylistic variety as broad as the club's open minded programming.

That said, a rundown of the tracklist will prove the point. You'll find 'Thursday Noon', the opening synth driven House-banger of young blood Napoleon Dynamite next to deep and spaced out Techno courtesy of Tille-resident Chris Manura. Lars Christian Müller's atmospheric trip 'No Future' next to Leipzig-scene-honcho Filburt who hands in a stomping and steaming cut, tinged by Electro-references. You'll find a joint venture by Daniel Stefanik and Mathias Kaden that progresses from Detroit leanings into an affectionate Piano finale, bass heavy breaks by Monkey Maffia, Acid-grounded Dub Techno by genre-heavy weight Joel Mull, a rather odd take on Techno by Georg Bigalke and the record's mightiest bounce in form of Héctor Oak's take-no-prisoners-approach to move a crowd as the conclusion of this compilation.

A compilation, by the way, that's accompanied by three digital only bonus tracks: Matthias Tanzmann's 'Salinas Thing' - a legit peaktime weapon flirting with contemporary tribal sounds, chord driven Deephouse by Thomas Stieler and the irresistibly grooving 'Da Silva' by another key figure of the Leipzig-scene: Sven Tasnadi.

And a compilation that's evidently curated with an all-killer-no-filler-agenda and the overall sensible approach to manifest the unique Distillery vibe on two plates of vinyl.

Another fierce and unique act from the depths of the Glasgow underground appear on Optimo Music with their debut Green Door studios recorded four track EP.

Keyboard player Jim McKinven was previously in Altered Images, worked for many years in Martin Rushent's Genetic Studios, was in One Dove and previously appeared on Optimo Music as one half of Organs Of Love. He is however but one component of this transgenerational band.

They describe their music far better than we could - "Seedy Electronica, consisting of 2 Basses, Electronic Drums, Synths and Dark Vocals. Inspired by the avant-garde that influenced the electronic music scene of the late '70's and early '80's.'

Beatamines & David Jach finally arrived at their homebase Mangue Records after a long Roadtrip with several releases on Keno Records,
Damm Records or Deich. The duo is currently on a good buzz with their successful single "How Never" - so its time for a hot follow-up tune with Remixes coming from Einmusik (Jittery Heritage, Italic, Einmusika), Purple Disco Machine (Ipoly Music, Gris Musique) and einsauszwei (Grain Audio).

Seeking for a different twist to original tracks, there are not many producers who have not tapped on Deetron's talents as a masterful remixer. Putting his deft touch on tracks from artists as varied as Ennio Morricone and Todd Terje to Jamiroquai, Deetron's remixes have become standalone hits in their own right.
With more than 200 remixes to his name since his first remix was released in 2000, Deetron takes stock and cherry-picks from his vast discography to present Re-creation (Remixes Compiled) for Character 007. A collector's collection from past to present, the compilation stretches across his body of work from 2003 to 2017 and features some of Deetron's very best.

As a special bonus, the compilation also includes more than a handful of exclusive new versions, edits and instrumentals that Deetron has been using as secret weapons in his DJ sets. These are now released for the first time for all to enjoy.

Re-creation (Remixes Compiled) will be released on both digital and vinyl. The double-pack vinyl release features Deetron's personal landmark releases on sides A/B, while the C/D sides feature exclusive or previously unreleased edits/versions.
