House Vinyl New Releases - News

Sometimes great records need time to grow... It took us all a while to finally present John Talabot's fantastic versions of the already stone cold classic from sfire.Muting The Noise is happy to hug the Cocktail d'Amore family with a smile for this outstanding release...finally!

OGE001LTD with the three originals!

A new two track dance music 12" from Anthony Naples

Second release on Bash & T's very limited Conch imprint further delving into creating house music fused with UK flavours. All spawned from live studio takes.

Following on from Hashman Deejay debuting his 'Studio Mody' moniker as the first release on the newly formed Counter 99 label, comes the new release from E. Corre and S. Letelier (Nummer) under a new alias 'Detroit Syndrome'...

The label is keeping to the 3 track, low key presentation of the first release, with the focus being directed towards the music and continuing with a series that attempts to bring out a style that the artists may not necessarily be associated with. The direction given to the artists from the label is simple - do whatever you like, with the dance floor and longevity of music in mind.

Someone has discovered that in Närke lays a dead snake encircled in a wreath of stars. Hence this is the fourth release in the Evigt Mörker series.

Super Rhythm Trax is excited to unveil their brand new side label. BLEEPER, which will concentrate on a slightly tougher strain of Techno. The first four releases are in production and will be enough to give you a strong idea of where the label will be going! First out of the gate are Ford Foster (Unknown To The Unknown/Opal Tapes) and Frankie Castle with 'Bounce That', an ingenious Ghetto House jam with a serious twist , backed with a Jerome Hill remix that strips the whole thing down leaving the bare ingredients to do damage on the dancefloor. Also included are an instrumental version of the original, and the slo mo banger 'Shake That'.

Continuing its cosmic techno research path, Subosc is happy to present the latest work from Hydergine. Known for his deep and dub influenced techno releases on labels such as Phorma, Modelisme, Knotweed and Ranges, he delivers two ambient influenced techno tracks with a mental and dancefloor attitude. Driving grooves, pulsating synths and melancholic melodies are the main elements of the original tracks, which journey narrates about cosmic energies, self healing and mental stimulation. The Omega Point is, at fact, a spiritual belief and a scientific speculation that everything in the universe is fated to spiral towards a final point of "divine" unification. "Light from Light" puts emphasis on the eternal and bright light of wisdom, which allows to think and act using knowledge, experience, understanding, common sense, and insight. Wisdom leads a person to overcome feelings of helplessness, powerlessness, anger or aggression by non-understanding of external elements and internal acknowledgement. The EP includes two immersive, dreamy, enlightening and spaced-out electro infused versions by Artefakt (Delsin / Field Records) and 2030 (Construct Re-Form / CLFT).
Already supported by Svreca, Etapp Kyle, Abstract Division, Quail, Leghau, Kessell, Alfredo Mazzilli, Nihad Tule, Roberto Clementi, Shaded Explorer, Distant Echoes, Unbalance...

Time for a little neck bulging, slimy skin hip-slinking summer fun as a true craftsman steps from the studio shadows: Jay Shepheard, who's back with a track that's so infectious if you licked its back you'd trip for weeks. Prepare yourselves for 'Bullfrogging': wry funk, warmth and humanised technoid soul. Taking a vocal texture then processing, harmonising and splicing the spawn out of it, Jay's precision balance of electronic hustle and anthromorphised action has all the hallmarks for a summer anthem. 'Early Doors' follows suit and there's a massive clue in the title... Soft-focused, warm, rolling and laced with textured chimes, it's definitely tailored for those key transitions between warm-up and second gear. Deep, trippy but coded with a hookiness that grabs rather than soothes, once again it's classic Shepheard but with a revitalised 2017 twist. Hey, he didn't lock himself away in the studio for twelve months for nothing, right Neither did Jay's long-time friend and neighbour Mark Henning; a man who hasn't taken on a remix since the early 2010s. His return to the remix game is as poignant and powerful as Jay's return to releases as he removes around 70 percent of the frog and maximises the bullishness of the elements, creating a relentless tribal slammer of a version that still retains the warmth and soul of Jay's original. Two returns to action, three killer tracks, one label you can always count on as your friend and no frogs harmed during the whole process. We're pulling out some serious stops here.

Following Donato Dozzy's release on Claque is a great new one by Bartolomeo.

big support from Stephan Bodzin, Bart Skils, Wally Lopez, UGLH, Chris Fortier, Claude VonStroke, Andreas Henneberg, Richie Hawtin,.. Basti Pieper was born in Hessen / Germany and open his first chapter in its electronic existence in 1999. 2003 he became resident at the U60311 in Frankfurt and the Room106 in Darmstadt. Soon he wanted to be active not only as a Dj but also as an organizer in the nightlife

Next up on the Astropical Tapes imprint is Boryn, half of the Astro Buhloone duo. This time his solo debut EP titled: 'The Same' with Loz Goddrad on the remix. Limited, vinyl only.

Animals Dancing follow up their debut release with a fleshy three-track EP from Dude Energy, the latest project from LA's Diego Herrera (AKA Suzanne Kraft). His renowned sundrenched, west coast warmth is all but thrown out the window in this testosterone filled nocturnal emission. Come take a ride with Dude Energy on this throbbing tour de force.

Mad Dancer EP is Freda's second offering through Sydney Imprint Moonshoe Records - The record maintains the raw crunchy nature of his debut whilst he progresses into more dissonant atmospheres. Wobbling jazz loops guide the A side through 2 up-tempo yet calming house tracks. The title track Mad Dancer is kept alive by crunchy, swinging hi-hats and bouncy synth melodies. Smoking Causes is a slow burning take on Disco. On the flip (Breakfast) is the curveball of the 3 tracks. A darker mood is established before a syncopated break drives the EP home, exemplified by a sliding dissonant synth melody.

We are pleased to welcome for Leftback's 12th release a split EP from newcomer to the label CNTRL and regular Matt Star. This is how Brasil meets Spain in Germany. When 2 friends from Sao Paulo (DWU & GIOC) sent this fantastic demo to Rainer Weichhold for his label Gold Rcrds and shooting star Wade from Spain added his trademark style for a boombastic remix. No more words necessary since Wade regularly delivers proper dancefloor gems on Suara or Relief.

After last year's Tribal Trouble', french duo Nummer strike back on their own Nummer Music label with Deep Obsessions', a three track excursion through early breakbeat ambiences and hypnotic soundscapes

Gold Rcrds continues the path of mysterious club anthems with a tribute to the famous juvenile detective books series 'The Three Investigators' by new project Radioplay. With the help of Phil Fuldner and Christian Hornbostel the three Justus, Peter & Bob should now also learn how to investigate on the dancefloor.

Mihigh steps up for TLR006 and in Mihigh's true fashion brings his usual dark flavour to Trapped Ldn. Mihigh is known for his head bending, dark, trippy erie minimal style and he has once again delivered with this evil 2 track EP. Mirrors is a mix of driving minimal and dark atmospheric sounds which gives you a great after party style of track but could also be blended into a maintime set. Mutual contemplation is our personal favourite which can be used as both a tool, a warm up track or an after party track. Its crazy trippy leading synth keeps you entertained throughout the whole track and sounds like it was created to mess up anyones mind while at a party. We are super happy to have Mihigh in the Trapped family as he has been one of our favourites at various festivals we have seen him

AMZS present their next release made by Italian and Berlin based producer Otis! House and Techno for any kind of dancefloor, enjoy it!

We're glad to say welcome to Renè for our second wax.
With his residency@Circoloco in ibiza since years, he had the chance to play at some of the best gigs in the world.
His track 'Anything' has a unique touch, with a lot of warm and deep pads that match perfectly with bassline, doing a beautiful atmosphere.
Renè on the keys never fails, that's what we say!

Alessandro Di Maria aka Sossa is another italian resident dj of Circoloco in Ibiza.
He worked with a lot of amazing artists like Mass Prod, Quenum, Subb-an and many more, especially with his own label Garbant Wave.
His track Toga' is what we call a trip, ranging from minimal beats to deep pads and chords.
Certainly this one makes the right job in the warm up!

We're happy to have the young talent Giacomo Trevi in the B side.
With releases on Claque, Superfiction, Etruria and more, his track Voyage' has a powerful 909 groove, with an old school pads and some Detroit influences in the chords.
Dirty and analog stuff for the dancefloor lovers!

Axpin debuts with its EP "Gilgamesh", including three deep house tracks and a first floor remix of mastermind Christian Burkhardt (Cocoon, Oslo, CBSessions). It smoothly combines multifarious arrangements and arousing melodies with a forward pushing club sound. Suitable for the dance floor as well as the afterparty at home, this EP transports the listener to a faraway world of subtle grooves, pushing drums and mesmerizing sound design.
"Gilgamesh" is a track based on the story about the journey of an ancient emperor, searching for enlightenment in the highlands of Mesopotamia. So it comes as no surprise that a driving beat breaks through the laid back percussions and hypnotizing atmospheres. Wandering through this track side by side with mysterious pads and exotic sounds, a lost but defying melody accompanies the listener on his steps.
"Catiba" is a track with a multilayered arrangement, that doesn't necessarily reveal its complexity on the first look. Different rhythmic moods provide the structure for two melodic lines, competing at first but working perfectly together after a thrilling break, melting your soul. They're supported by a pervading deep bass groove that will make your body vibrate.Christian Burkhardt summarizes both tracks' features and unifies them in an impulsive club remix that floats every second and climaxes in a thrilling break. Dry but playful, perfectly fitting for the dance floor without losing the warmth and lightness of the original.
"Kryon" is the EP's third and most expressive track. Starting with lost parts of a melody, rather an echo in the vast distance, the track continuously  increases its tension, extending the rhythms until the arrangement blasts out a stunning break that, contrary to all expectations, is a calm and compassionate moment with a transient theme. The clear production provides a place in the mix to each sound, a deep moog bass rumbles in the basement while the stimulating percussion coats the volatile beat.

No one knows how it got there. No one knows who's selling it. No one even knows why they're bidding their life savings on it... But they are. There's an elephant on eBay and the bidding war is happening on a global scale.

Bebetta and fellow recent Mona member Cioz have concerns about this scenario. They have no need for an elephant. Nobody does. Bebetta and Cioz want elephants to be free, to roam their habitat, eat trees and trample the dickens out of anything in their way. So they've set up a distraction. A decoy so stunning and mesmerising everyone will stop, listen and finally cease bidding on this elephant. It's a decoy that ripples with timeless synth majesty as it shimmers and rises with dynamics that kick off at an elephantine level.

Complete with a darker, stripped back, groove laden remix from rising duo Innellea, 'Elephant On Bay does everything they intended it to do and more. See for yourself and check eBay - there are no real life elephants for sale there anymore.

To celebrate this major achievement Bebetta and Cioz have planned in advance and arranged a little party food: 'Jello' is every bit as sweet as you'd like it to be. Firm to the touch with a subtle wobble to the core, once again it's awash with psychedelic synth elements that disarm and whisk you away to that special place. And you'll be staying in that place the moment you hear 'Cow Kau'. Once again based on staccato synth rhythm, suddenly, just as we least expect it, it's under-swept by a delicious molten bassline and an arpeggio that's close to heavenly. If an elephant ever put a human on eBay, this would be the soundtrack... Triumphant, uplifting, startling and ultimately beautiful.

Selections from the album 'Rio Grande'

Third emission from Kavalanic Languages, featuring three wavey lines from Elio Terzi - all busted 606 hats and bass lines.
