The Blink single is a labour of love spanning over 2 years evolving from Reshape's Live Series. The 'Tunnel mix' takes its title from being road tested at the now closed Tunnel Club in Paris and both tracks are a homage to early UK and Detroit techno which Redshape holds fond memories of from his youth.
As Huntleys + Palmers events has drawn to a close, 2018 will see a big focus in releasing some brilliant new music and introducing some amazing new artists. First up is Wheelman - straight out of Glasgow and fresh off the back of his debut for our Studio Barnhus buddies. To our shame, it took a Kornel Kovacs trip to Rubadub to bring to our attention a real talent who was under our now the whole time! He'd even been to a bunch of our parties and we'd never made the connection..Righting this wrong, we promptly hit him up for music to include on a 'Clyde Built' compilation and they were so good, we designated the bulk of these tracks to this release - 5 absolute BELTERS!
MixCult Records & Radio pres. Azteca, one of Romania's most prominent and favorite artists steps ahead with a crimping chemistry between deep house and dub techno, lashing impeccable crafted bass lines and stunted groovy drums essential for the most refined dance grounds, branding this release as an archetype of virtuous 4x4 music.

Ron Allen and Hayden Andre are two artist names that some may not be familiar with outside of rare record aficionado circles, but they certainly deserve to have more credit. They crafted some of the most original, fresh, deep and interesting house and techno records to come out of their native Canada. Originally released in 1991, and the first release on their soon to be cult imprint Strobe, 'Metamorphasis' is a strong statement of intent, across six tracks Allen and Andre lay down a plethora of styles ranging from the deepest house sounds to more warehouse leaning bleep style tracks, deep sub bass, dreamy washing pads and taut drum programming are all the order of the day here and boy are we all the better off for it! This is essential stuff for all house and techno lovers out there, the real deal indeed!
The duo, and their label, went on to release numerous other future classics and gems during it's lifespan, some of which will now see the light of day again via a string of fully legit remastered reissues overseen by Ron Allen himself. A long time want by many, often expensive and topping the lists of those 'in the know' 'Metamorphasis' is now available again, as it was originally released way back in '91 with original Strobe artwork intact. Remastered and reissued from directly from Ron's personal source materials it's time these artifacts were made available again for 2017. A truly essential release!

Rat Life Records presents Serial Error a Project by Credit 00, Jacob Korn & Sneaker. This outfit was brought to life in 2013 when Red D called for some New Beat style tracks for his "Our Beat Is Still New" Compilation. Flying a bit too low under the radar ever since Rat Life decided to reissue Drum Abuse on a Super Sound Maxi Single. The Track was made in Jacob Korn's headquarter studio / synthesizer museum. The task distribution was hit quickly: Jacob squeezing the acid out of his huge Formant modular system, Credit 00 beating the drums on the Boss DR 660 and Sneaker throwing his unique vocals on top!

Chapsticks, Candy Drops, Marshmellows or Fluffy Pops, Gummy Bears or Jelly Beans, McFlurry or Cookie Cream, Smoothie Blend, Vanilla Fudge, Berry Splash or Popcorn Butter Boom Boom Boom.. After Alec Troniq's glorious 2012 strikes like "Pimpernuckel" and "Rueffel EP" and prosperous remixes e.g. for Leesa or Kanzler & Wischnewski, he roughs up the club season with yet another super-creative bunch of dance floor tracks. With "Fluffernutter" our pastry chef created a scuzzy mix of sweeties. "And Everyone Can Sing" is a slow and muddy pounding
house smacker. "Xanthippe" is a cheering singsong tune for a little less conversation but a little more action on the parquets. This "Fluffernutter EP" unmistakably pushes to movement.

Huxley follows up last year's '2.0' and the launch of his No Idea's Original imprint with 'Widow', released late Jan via Will Saul's Aus imprint. Huxley's '2.0' marked a new phase in Huxley's production output with the Brit eschewing his previous sample driven work in favour of tougher drums, prominent synths and tweaky arrangements. 'Widow' continues Huxley's explorations into pastures new with three tracks that fold a myriad of influences into refreshingly new shapes while highlighting the producer's love of melody.

Revolt! returns with a fine selection of tracks delivered by greek producer duo Kreon and Lemos. A side opens with 'Ikosiefta' a fine mixture between house and techno full of melodies and fat basslines straight for the dance floor, followed by '0.3', a deep dub techno track with a modern twist. B side 'Intropar' is a 13 minute deep trip for the late hours. Vinyl only, limited copies.
With a stellar year in the life of La Fleur coming to an end, the Berlin-based artist is set to close 2013 on a high, with the return to her own beloved imprint Power Plant. After landing a coveted residency with acclaimed Berlin club Watergate, and producing a chart-topping EP as her debut for the club's inhouse label, the Feline EP brings La Fleur back to her roots: unique house music that leaves an imprint on you long after you hear it. A-side track 'Kattflickan' establishes the theme, drawing on the Swedish term for 'cat girl' as its inspiration. It cuts a sleek figure, and is a slower, groovier, quirkier iteration of La Fleur's signature house sound. 'Kattflickan' revealing more detail with every change, and providing a colorful journey through the spectrum of La Fleur's sound. On the B-side, the chiming bell melody of 'Feline' carries it from the outset, and is the genesis of its mysterious and ethereal mood. Punchy drums and layered, meshed chords and its hazy chorus of rising vocal harmonies make it fit for any set. As delicate as it is completely assured, 'Feline' is another irresistible example of La Fleur's balance of dancefloor appeal and melodic richness.

This is the first release ever for Matt Tanner, a great guy and upcoming dj/producer from London. Long time friend of the label Myler finally makes his South London Analogue Material debut with 'Lord of the ASBO'. The EP starts with driving kicks, hypnotic wandering synths and the noisy dissonant stabs of 'Mandem' before taking a more melancholy turn. 'Shutter Windows' slows things down with eerie echoes, dusty thudding kick drums and subtle synths before 'Whiskey & White Women' finishes the last of the originals with a drum track full of trippy percussion and masterful groove. Bad boy Keepsakes is back on the label after SLAM003 and finishes the EP with his take on 'Shutter Windows'.

Early April will see Italian imprint Amam offer up 'The Modern Sound Of Yesterday' EP coming courtesy of Germany based producer DoubtingThomas.
Aurelien Alain Francis Riviere aka DoubtingThomas has been delivering material since under this guise since 2008 most notably via reputable imprints like Metroline Limited where he made his start, Little Helpers, Archipel and Organic Music. Here Riviere makes a return to the Amam imprint following his 'Capon's Method' EP earlier in the year, offering up more of his signature atmosphere infused, percussive led style.
Opening composition 'Module' sees DoubtingThomas kick things off with wandering jazz samples and growling bass drones running alongside low slung rhythms, whirring background sweeps and hypnotic vocal murmurs. 'Sch'feld' follows and lays its focus on smooth ethereal pad sequences, modulating percussive textures and a snaking sub bass groove laid out over its six minute duration.
Then on the flip side DoubtingThomas opens with 'Anpe' retaining a similar aesthetic to the preceding track with murky pads carrying the record, while resonant synth glitches and processed bell chimes add detail and charm to the record. Then to round things up 'Miss Jikeli' veers things into darker realms with menacing acidic bass licks, mind bending horn lines and a bumpy rhythmic swing.
As always expected from Amam imprint DoubtingThomas's 'The Modern Sound Of Yesterday' is forward-thinking and full of intricacies, set for release on April 2015, don't sleep!

Ronnie Spiteri supplies more main room madness with his new single 'Acid Lights'.
Serious road testing and tweaking has gone into this release over the last few months; from Space, Ibiza, to Elrow and even Zoo Project in Oz we know that Acid Lights is going to seriously mess with your dance floors and brighten up your life.
Heavy kick, deep bass and sharp percussion build a classic stomping Spiteri groove. Ace FX and atmospherics swirl in sonic space and get mixed up with some serious acid vibes that build into one hell of a moment. A tectonic tech house trip made for smoke filled dance floors across the globe.
Remix comes courtesy of Do Not Sleep's Darius Syrossian. Darius gets his head down and turns up the acid level to eleven. Warming yet tight his remix aggressively pumps with classy nips and tucks growing acidic urgency.
Ronnie Spiteri's 2017 couldn't have started better. He has already completed a headline tour of Australia. Supported Jackmaster and Skream at his JUNK residency in the UK and has dates for Do Not Sleep (MOS, WE Love Festival). Anja Schneider tipped him for greatness in 2017 on Pete Tong Radio 1 in January and he has tracks coming out on Resonance, Fall From Grace, Do Not Sleep, Leena Music and more.

ART present another landmark classic in Electronic Music history. Originally released on Stefan Robbers' Eevo-Lute label in 1993, Ross 154 aka Jochem Peteri - now best known for his productions as Newworldaquarium - released four tracks of deep, dark, mysterious hybrid techno interspersed with four delicate ambient interludes. Jochem recalls 'we went down to Eindhoven to record at Stefan's studio which was at his parent's place. Actually, we all still lived with our parents.' The recording was lucky to survive as Jochem remembers 'about halfway through recording, all power went off because his mom was frying us some snacks and the deep-fryer short-fused!'
Thankfully recording continued. Jochem describes it as a summary of all the musical influences he grew up with including Schoolly D, Loose Ends and even some 'Duran Duran synth melancholia'. Jochem was also digesting 'new UK sounds like Kirk Degiorgio and B12 plus the big American sounds of the Belleville Three (the Kevin Sanderson produced Mia Hesterley track 'Spark' patricularly comes to mind) and early second generation Detroit stuff like Psyche and Dark Comedy' (Carl Craig and Kenny Larkin respectively).
Jochem continues 'Meeting Stefan and Wladimir (Stefan Robbers and Wladimir Manshanden - co-founders of Eevo-Lute) changed it all for me, They gave the whole thing a unique Dutch synth-wave spin.' Interestingly, he concludes: 'the Fragments EP to me feels like a homage to the great shoulders we stand on today, An amazing legacy which I love and hate in equal amounts.' One thing is for sure - the Fragments EP stands the test of time and remains one of the most sought-after pieces of vinyl from this essential formative era in European Techno. Re-issued and carefully remastered under the care of ART Records owner Kirk Degiorgio, Ross 154 finally gets to be available for the new generation of listeners it deserves.

In the outskirts of Zagreb they already know what's up, but now that young SZCH has stepped up to deliver the virgin Infinite Pleasure release, the whole world is about to get down to his vibe. Combining the smoothness of some of the most epic boogie tracks the 80's had to offer with the gritty punch of his machines, he conjured up four high energy dancefloor napalm club tracks ready to rock all dancefloors in the universe.
First reissue of Teersom's two part 12" series of grainy, tunnel-visioned psychedelic techno from 2013 released on Helsinki's Keys of Life. "Sun" cuts through the full A-side as a shuffled, dark and machine working chugger. The B-side's "Orb" raises pressure and punch, with more prominent white noise and low rolling sub bass complementing almost staggering hihats.

The ever elusive duo, Flight Facilities, will release their new single I Didnt Believe on May 7th (North America) & May 8th (Australia & rest of world) 2013. Alongside the tandem production outfit, Alexander Burnett (of Sparkadia) & Marcus Browne share songwriting credits and bring a silky pop feeling to the song. The duo came to international recognition through the success of debut single Crave You, and have maintained a spotlight in the form of subsequent singles Foreign Language, With You and the more recent ambient, brooding track Clair De Lune. After pleasantly surprising everyone with the dark atmospherics of Clair De Lune, I Didnt Believe is a brief return to familiarity. It's disco. No need to beat about the bush on that one. As taboo as the term has become, the genre has had more come-backs than a Hollywood bad guy. From the bass to the strings, it's nothing more than an unadulterated, feel-good guilty pleasure. I Didnt Believes release follows uncharacteristically quickly after their last single, but by no means was it hastily slapped together. The instrumental was Flight Facilities' first original production after the release of Crave You, however the song has been a work in progress for almost 2 years. This time around Flight Facilities are joined by their close friend, Elizabeth Rose. The up-and-coming electronic-pop singer/producer in the vein of Bjork and Fever Ray, shows her diversity by bringing an early-80s-Madonna flair to the track. The song comes complete with a remix package, including another world-renowned secretive disco duo Tiger & Woods, New York based label owner Lou Teti (Tigers On A Leash) and studio buddy Light Year.

The First Lady of Watergate, La Fleur, is back again with a massive three track EP titled 'Make A Move' and, in true La Fleur fashion, it bridges classic aesthetics with future concepts. By employing what is a uniquely La Fleur palette of sound, she has created three distinctly individual cuts resulting in the perfect recipe for brilliant and undeniably body shaking dance floor burners. Kicking things off is the title track 'Make A Move' and it hits hard. Vintage House hi-hats and top end percussion balance perfectly with a grand bassline that is as memorable as it is gripping. Descending tones, a sultry female vocal, and a long sustained string break up the constant borage of manic euphoria creating a timeless club tale that will never leave the DJ bag. Following the title track is another bomb eerily similar to the previous tune, but yet completely owning it's own identity. 'Just In Time' seamlessly balances the wash of lush pads as it canvases a rolling and unrelenting bassline as a looping female vocal circles the room slowly rearing itself and then quickly hiding again. Classic piano chord stabs and a ripping ride cymbal keep the track at full tilt as it ascends to full on climax and, before it's over, 'Just In Time' has already been burned into your memory. Wrapping up the EP is the most organic of all the tracks, 'Result'. With its foundation laid in live, natural drums, it grooves hard while a cosmic flute-like wind instrument calls out through the dense, yet soft bass. As all the sounds culminate into a trippy version of the primary vibe, 'Result' quickly drops back into its pristine, original idea from before the break, flawlessly designing a perfect dance floor hit. La Fleur has always been on fire and without a doubt consistent, but with this EP she is clearly at the top of her game and we couldn't be more thrilled to present to you, 'Make A Move'.

For our next vinyl release, La Fleur returns by gracing us with her signature touch on a stellar EP entitled 'Hedione' including a remix from the one and only Camea. Over the span of three tracks La Fleur takes us on a tour through the many arrays of her style, blending retro concepts into future hits.
The title track 'Hedione' kicks things off with a low slung bass line, luminous shimmers and a ghostly vocal culminating in a super slick late night ride while 'Bloomer' takes a more energetic approach with a classic acid line and spooky vocals laid over a hypnotic groove of crisp analog percussion. Rounding the EP out is 'Longevity' and it's the headiest of all three embracing nostalgic melodies that induce the cerebral moments you lose yourself and time ceases to exist. Camea steps up to remix 'Longevity' and nails it with a masterfully done revision keeping all the beauty and engagement of the original but taking it into her own trademark space designing with a heavier palette of drums resulting in a heated trek into the sublime.

To progress towards a civilization which does not unconsciously perpetuate or aggravate inequality and poverty, we need to accept our many differences. For those who prefer uniformity or others who would rather avoid proximity, the celebration of diversity might sound ridiculous.
A certain measure of discomfort is required to reach compassion. But peace through diversity is no prophet's fantasy. It is no harder to imagine than the magical fact that we are alive right now.
The eternal act of dancing is one of the most active form of contemplation. Facing our own selves in the mirror of movement, we realize that we indeed are reflections of one another at all times. What will our own actions and thoughts feed around us
With over 30 years of combined dancefloor experience, Possible Futures have been witnesses to the wildest fauna and flora the great nocturnal jungle has to offer.
Sourcing their inspiration from the many shades of color that co-exist between black and white, it is through the open and eclectic selections of inspired and devoted luminaries that Possible Futures have found their manyfold sound: Frankie Knuckles, Larry Heard, Francois K, Carl Craig, Moritz von Oswald, DJ Harvey, Theo Parrish, Chez Damier, Ron Trent, DJ Deep or Moodymann, amongst so many others, have dedicated their lives to the flourishing of diversity on the dancefloor.
While the minds of Possible Futures float in the air with their bodies rotating behind the turntables, their feet are steadily rooted in reality, enabling their musical knowledge to unfold beyond the night. Through their own record label, Possible Futures share their therapeutic musical blends.
The first two cuts come from the grooves of Argentine old hand Leonel, a family friend of long date. 'Antares' and 'Bunda' drag their dusty trails across different genres, to be enjoyed at 45 rotations per minute. Curative properties guaranteed.
The boys of Mappey again achieved to compose a very picturesque sound telling the story of Mr. Miyagi's wisdoms.
A technical and yet precise fighting scenario between Miyagi and a Muk Yan Jong (wooden dummy) opens up this track using a warm wooden percussions and a solid human kick. The depth of this intense karate training sessions is perfectly reflected with a well handled reverb.
I totally love how the fighting scenes building up in their intensity, created through the musical instruments, reassembling Miyagi and his enemies.
In which the old master is resembled as the melodic and soft flying sounds with instruments such as a Sitar. Where as his enemies audibly appear as huge and forceful giants using bone breaking synths with heavy drives.
Possibly this is just my very own interpretation, so let yourself being carried away by this very cinematic tune.

Mother of Mars is the latest evolution of Vito & Druzzi, two New Yorkers who have provided the 21st century with some of its most innovative dance music. The duo first came to fame as the rhythmic backbone of The Rapture, NYC pioneers who found global fame with their angular post-punk and howling disco. Since then Vito & Druzzi have had a prolific career as remixers and producers, producing leftfield disco killers for a range of labels including Warp and Throne of Blood. Seed 2 Sky - their first release as Mother of Mars - sees the duo fuse live krautrock drums with pulsating synth loops, creating two epics of space and rhythm that owe a debt to '70s kosmische pioneers like Tangerine Dream.
