With its next release, the ever evolving Moon Harbour kicks off a great new Various Artist EP series entitled Orbiter. With the aim of showcasing both newcomers and established label acts alike, the first one features great new music from associates like Detlef and Lewis Boardman, as well as from newbie collaborators Zlatnichi &
Joey Daniel and the returning Andrea Oliva, who debuted on the 2014 Inhouse compilation.

Detlef, who debuted on the label in 2013 and also worked with Material and VIVa, goes first with the fun and playful 'I Am Freddy.' It has busy synths darting about like a child with ADHD as well as rooted drums and crisp hits. Bass kills and smart samples add dynamism to the whole thing and as a result it is sure to send 'floors wild. One of the newer additions to the label family is UK star Lewis Boardman, long time Circus resident and underground stalwart. His excellently chunky tech funk offering 'Don't Stop' is a high pressure cut with thick drums that lock you in, trippy little synth riffs and nerve jangling chords that really keep you on your toes.

On the flip, Swiss tech house titan Andrea Oliva has been kicking out the jams on labels like Cadenza and Hive Audio for years. He is a perfect fit for the label so makes his overdue return here with 'Whasa Whasa,' an infectious and tribal number with well treated vocals layered up over flappy snares, loopy kicks and fist umping
grooves. Last but not least Sarajevo's Zlatnichi & Rotterdam's Joey Daniel here work together on 'Is That Jackson', a deliciously deep and rolling affair with smooth pads, tumbling hits and broody atmospheres that warm your mind, body and soul. It rounds out a fulsome new EP from Moon Harbour and starts the Orbiter series in real style.

The tenth release of the Nottingham based, vinyl only Leftback calls upon the talent of the two label co-founders delivering four intimate and personal works culminating in a lucid, yet non-linear and highly evocative record.

Dudley Strangeways opening track 'Hallam' showcases acute sounds full of colour which introduce themselves along it's steady tempo. Once leaving these territories, Strangeways makes his way to a more nocturnal perspective with 'What's Wrong', shaped with metallic unceasing tones filled with dense, repetitive beats that replicate the sounds of machines, gears and obsessive patterns.

McLardy's tracks begin with the intricate rhythmic patterns of 'Uno' (one, the unity, the absolute), a mosaic that originates from a web of synth basslines alternating between simpler designs and complex inputs from beginning to end. Accessible without being conventional, this work reflects the Nottingham artist ability to slowly build up a sequence of convoluted trajectories.

'Prana' awakens a different world of perceptions and can be seen as a stand-alone work juxtaposed with the rest of the EP, the track develops across a calmer, slower bassline in stark comparison to the tempo of the other three tracks on the release. McLardy creates a dialogue between the incorporeal painting in the background and the fragmented, broken and divided beats that push the listener across the length of the track.

The mysterious Hyneah is giving his debut on Objektivity, coming with two original tracks and a stunning Andre Lodemann remix. Title Mami Wata has been premiered by André Hommen in his Boiler Room Berlin set and received a massive track-ID wave from all over the internet. The african vibe throughout both originals is coming even stronger on ‚Soak It' which includes vocals by the amazing Nonku. Last but not least, Andre Lodemann's remix is a masterpiece on it's own and completes the package perfectly. The vinyl has the exclusive Andre Lodemann Instrumental which is not available digitally.

When I played in Belgrade I met this talented newcomer Ilija Djokovic who played a great set before me. He sent me his tunes and I was so impressed that I put one of his tracks on my essential mix right away.

Following Prins Thomas' lovingly received 4 X LP vinyl ambient record Principe Del Norte released last week, Smalltown Supersound announce the equally sprawling remix package to compliment it, including remixes from seminal ambient legends The Orb and artists featured on his 'Paradise Goulash' mix in 2015; Sun Araw, Young Marco, I:Cube, Ricardo Villalobos and Hieroglyphic Being.

The intertextuality between Paradise Goulash, Principe Del Norte and the remix package is underlined when you think back to the track that opened CD3 of the Paradise Goulash. It was 'The Subbadubba Beat (Stockholmia Glue mix) by Swedish producer Joel Brindefalk recording as Ü, a conversation about whom sparked the idea for Principe. 'I likened Joel's record to The Orb's Peel Sessions record, which then had me and Joakim from Smalltown talking about me doing an ambient record' says Prins.

The Hieroglyphic Being remixes 12' will be the first to be available on March 18th 2016 in the UK and Europe and April 15th 2016 in North America and Japan. Release date for the second double 12' and The Orb and Sun Araw remixes to be confirmed and all remixes will be collected on a double CD and digital release to be released in Summer 2016.

Sebastian Eduardo burst onto the scene in 2016 with a fine debut EP entitled 'Ultima Necat', now comes his second EP, this time released in The Untold Stories Protagonist Series. Dedicated to the legendary poet Hanshan, the EP is a deep and personal offering, it keeps to the style which made his debut so appreciated: positively charged, quirky and enlivening micro house, but this time there's a deeper personal dimension to the tracks, a nice development and another welcome offering from the young Swiss producer.

Hot on the heels of the smash release from Superlover, MOTHER RECORDINGS welcome back SIMION to the label with his THE RHYTHM EP. SIMION presents two cuts of upfront house music that are prime for the dancefloor.
First up is title-track, 'The Rhythm', a nod to the 90s Chicago sound with jacking drums and a sensual female vocal. Backed up by a funk-fuelled bassline and a lush piano breakdown that lead into a deep house groove.
The B-side 'Feeling Good' is true to its title. Tight percussion, chopped vocals and a catchy synth line all come together in a fluttering climax. This one is sure to leave any dancefloor shaking.

MOTHER RECORDINGS keeps up the heat with a new EP from DILBY. Known for his shows on Ibiza Global Radio and his beats on Toolroom Records and Bondage Music amongst others, he is one of the finest New Zealanders in the game.
WORK YOUR BODY goes first and is a squelchy Tech House tune with gritty bass, tough drums and a no frills groove that really will work the floor. It is also finished with a naughty, rude boy vocal that adds more fuel to the fire.

Introducing another new name to Truesoul Simon Baker has delivered an outstanding EP that encapsulates everything he is about. Named after the title track, 'Chapter One EP' is a breathtaking collection of tracks that showcase Simon Baker's diversity and talent as a producer. Baker's use of percussion and synths that are laced throughout each track create trippy grooves that are supported by the raw sounding drums.

Monika Kruse's label Terminal M was founded in the year 2000 and 13 years later it's now time to celebrate the 100. release. And we are very glad that our closest friends Andhim, Yousef, Paul C & Paolo Martini, Pele & Shawnecy and Darlyn Vlys celebrate with us with an exclusive track for this release. And also Monika spent some days in the studio for her very own submission to the compilation. Curious to hear your favorites...

'AWOL' has been a track the band have played live since 2012 but as the album writing and recording process developed the band decided to hold AWOL back . Now, after reworking it into a new unheard version they feel it's time to make it available on record........ and limited cassette!

The EP will be available on Limited Edition Clear 12" Vinyl (released 4th September), CD and cassette - all featuring the 5 tracks.

The Prodigy recently headlined Isle of Wight Festival, they Headline the Radio 1 stage at T In The Park in July and recently announced a huge tour of UK arenas arenas to close their incredible 2015 which includes two shows at London's Wembley Arena.

The first EP from new Japanese label 'UGFY Records'. A1 'atom tears' and B2 'SOUL DANCING' are from the project 'UGFY' by Tokyo based dj 'You Forgot' and producer 'Yuji Namiki' who are hugely influence Detroit Techno, Chicago House, Beatdown and Hip Hop. These two tracks are with grooves for experienced listener, Japanese sensitive melody and rough sounds mastered with a cassette tape. B1 'T.O.P. DANCE ###1' is abnormal track done by 'Nuboyuji Namiki'. Raw House!

The 18th release from the Amadeus camp sees itself ornamented by label-head Urulu. The Armadillo, a four-track exploration through broken beats and timeless Yamaha synth sounds, is an ode to the coastal rhythms of California.

We are very happy to bring this amazing release that includes four top quality pieces from some super talented artists. On the A side for the first track we have Sander Ellerman's work and it presents a perfect combination of rhythmic grooves that are beautifully combined with the ambience elements, which takes you into a fantastic underground and trippy vibe. The second track from this side is from the talented Romanian artist Dubphone, who smartly managed to create subtle track with and exquisite club sound that haves strength, great arrangements and a true hypnotic vibe too. The B side is composed by another two tracks. The first one is from Herck, who worked perfectly in a great articulation of different synth elements, over an underlying layer of percussive sounds that constantly brings up the mood, reminding us of a great sunrise like moment, but never leaving the expected craziness behind. The second track from this side is from no one else than Xandru and he created a mind-blowing cut that takes you deep down and up with ease in what promises to be a truly exciting melodic and sonic delight as only him can perform.

Ritter Butzke Club, based in the heart of Berlin-Kreuzberg, celebrates their 8th anniversary. What once
started as an illegal rave, is now established on the regular club scene. After all these years, it still
maintains the charm of an 'unfinished' living room. "8 Years Lost" is a sound document created by resident
DJs and friends to represent the vibe of the place and to share it with their listeners.
The release comes with 14 tracks by celebrities like: Nicone`, Koletzki & Schwind, or Tigerskin well mixed
with tracks from the residents like: Baal, DJ Aroma or Prismode & Solvane plus some nice goodies from
close friends who are also regulars in the venue such as: HRRSN, Kotlett & Zadak or Dapayk Solo.

The four tracks were previously featured exclusively as part of Leftback Vol.1 with this second edition including new music from OCH, Ittetsu, Kashawar & Matthew Burton.

Tommy Vicari Jnr is back with his 76-79 moniker with three new killer club cuts. The EP features some heavy duty material including a previously unheard remix of 57 hertz which has been dug deep from the vaults of the Sheffield producers basement.

UK House & Techno heavyweights Dusky return to their 17 Steps label with the classic house indebted 'Square Miso', picking up swiftly where this summer's hugely successful 'Cold Heart' EP left off - the lead track an ever present in Gerd Janson's summer DJ sets.Already recognisable to many from Dusky's festival sets as well as Jackmaster's recent Circo Loco terrace recording, 'Square Miso' draws on the swing of classic NYC house with soulful, cut-up vocal samples and tightly programmed beats, whilst paying tribute to the '90s Italian House classics with its distinctive piano melodies - with a dash of Shades Of Rhythm-era UK Rave for good measure. As well as the club-ready original, a beat less piano and strings 'reprise' is also included. A darker, Detroit-nodding club tool, 'LF10' blends heavy-hitting stabs, atmospheric melodic textures and House grooves. An immersive roller, like 'Square Miso' it serves as another example of the duo's ability to blend different influences into unique hybrids.
With 2017 releases from B.K.R & Jamie Jones, Christian Piers, Bwana and Kiwi, Dusky's 17 Steps has become an increasingly prolific outlet of forward thinking House and Techno - with support from Gerd Janson, Midland, Len Faki, Maya Jane Coles, Tiga and George Fitzgerald among others.

Label heads and long time partners Kreon and Lemos return to Equivalence with Avatone; an emotive excursion to the early days of electronica, filled with warm strings and electric bass in a break trip reminiscent to the sound of Detroit and late 90's UK breaks

The return of Manie Sans De´lire with seven new tracks on a double vinyl edition (12' & 7') of 300 copies recorded in studio between June 2015 and July 2016. Manie Sans De´lire is the project of June and Trenton Chase focusing on electronics, played and recorded live.

Optimo Trax presents a 4-track EP from Germany's Mathias Schober, head honcho of Berlin's Lossless label. As always we prefer to let our artists do the talking. Here's what Mathias has to say about this release -
The idea behind all tracks on the EP was a simple setup of drums and one synth that would do a main sequence/sound, yet there's a lot of detail in all of them. 'In A Certain Way' features a 808ish beat with a main sequence coming from a tiny monophon synth called Atmegatron - 8Bit love, it turned out being much more music than I thought it would be when I set everything up.
'But What Rules Are Made For' is the same setup but the sequence is a 101 and so are all the washed out fx synths. On 'Is To Break Them' I went a different route, I had the dub, delayed stabs synth first as I was messin' with my Moog and a Space Echo - which btw is used on every single track I release, if you haven't noticed yet.
So I was trying to build something around those stabs in order to fit the track to the others and so I ended up with another sequence coming from my Moog. As there was still space on the record, I decided to add an ambient version of 'Is To Break Them', I love the ambience on this track. I hope that my love for dub sounds is obvious enough on these tracks. Happy I found such an excellent home for the EP!

Dark Sky return with two highly effective techno tracks featuring dark and roaring basslines at the center, the London duo leave no doubt that they haven't lost any of their acclaimed production skills.

"Kilter" is a rhythm-driven club anthem, featuring a sweeping bassline that nods to classic Dark Sky, while on the Bsdie, "Acacia" opens with ethereal synth pads before giving way to a onslaught of low end goodness before slowly revealing building percussion which finally climaxes in all its thumping glory.

Matti Gajek's followup to his 2014 debut album 'Restless Shapes' opens the floodgates to signals from a future best navigated by ear. Moving through polyphonic pulses, layers of grooves and sounds, zooming in and out of ever evolving patterns of concentration and decomposition, the ten tracks of Gajek´s '17 are electrifyingly futuristic clubmusic true to the almost five decades old motto of Berlins Zodiak Free Arts Lab: - Total freie Musik - totally free music. Paying tribute to electronic pioneers like Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Florian Fricke while staying clear of historical mystification Gajek revisits the abstract clarity and improvisational audacity of 1970s electronics from a perspective firmly rooted in the digital now - this is not '71. Today motoric rhythms emerge and elapse from postdigital aural scapes, intense and sublime, linking the thermodynamic to the ephemeral. Beyond the echoes of past utopias '17 discovers present signs for possible tomorrows.

High praise indeed from the owner of Fabric London and a bold statement for Spanish DJ/Producer Marino Canal to live to up to. The sound engineering graduate's impressive wax spinning skills had been witnessed at the 2013 Ibiza Music Summit and it wasn't long before the White Island resident was tearing up the cavernous London basement with a set brimming with his own productions. 

Organic textures, hypnotism and melancholy feature heavily in Marino's sound and are once again evident in the Percolate EP. As its name suggests, the title track bubbles with dancefloor tension whilst its tight groove never quite reaches boiling point. Can't Feel, on the flip, is more of the same. Deep, atmospheric and understated, a perfect example of Marino's blossom talent.

After a few years spent in quiet reflection during his introduction to the wonders of fatherhood, In Relationen emerges as both a refined and mature comeback, as well as a distinct new beginning for the long-time Berlin producer.
The pensive character, delicate emotional undertones, and careful lines drawn with precise tension across restrained arrangements may sound familiar to fans of his earlier work, but there is now a greater sense of calm, an openness that rewards listeners both on and off the dance-floor.As contemplative as it may be, In Relationen still rocks, particularly on the title track, where a frontal psychedelic guitar line gently weeps across a haunting, hypnotic field of rhythm. The krautrock influence runs deep, not in a superficial way but in the depths of the music: atop the rolling, pastoral grooves, the vibe of a bright German mind reorganizing itself to a new framework, re-aligning to a fresh phase of life, finding deeper communion with the world through the discovered balance of inner peace.

Giving us a preview of his forthcoming album MAKTUB, Satori is next to release on Crosstown Rebels with Umama. The single features alongside remixes from three of the most prominent artists from today's house scene.
Demonstrating his incredible ability to incorporate world sounds into his music, Satori mesmerises with Umama. Amidst a soiree of African percussion is a soothing hypnotic chant, all encased in alluring synths. Italian legend Riva Starr's jazzy take on the original, integrates the chanting vocal as a futuristic anthem. Louie Vega maintains an ethnic feel. His remix, alongside an instrumental, encompasses futuristic synths with a sturdy kick throughout.
Comprised almost entirely of live instruments, Satori explained how his love for Malian desert blues inspired Umama. 'I was fascinated by the rhythms, the scales, the harmony and the way they use their voice. I studied it and translated it into electronic music.' The song features on his debut album MAKTUB that will be released on Crosstown Rebels on 20th October 2017.
In anticipation of his album release, Satori aside from performing his renowned live show, keeps himself busy coaching aspiring writers. Following the recent launch of imprint Brock Wild, Starr continues to cement his position as one of the industry's most acclaimed artists. In Early 2017 one half of Masters At Work Louie Vega received a Grammy Nomination for Louie Vega Starring...XXVIII in the Best Dance Album category. Joeski has been hard at work in the studio, working solo on 'Lessons in Dub' for Poker Flat and the 14th installment of his Maya Sessions podcast.

'Sláinte' is the third vinyl release for German based label Samani. This EP's artists hail from all corners of Europe, bringing together an eclectic taste of deep minimal vibes.

The opening track entitled 'Cosmic Soul' offers a mixture of glitchy stabs, soft atmospheres and groove. The composer Alessio Viggiano has been putting in the work recently, and this demonstrates his effort perfectly.

'Sláinte', put together by Laughing Man and label owner F.eht follows, which is a definite leg shaker on the dance floor. Funk, skippy percussion, and a vocal sample from a very special lady.

On to the B side, which starts off with a strong track from Eye Deep Leez main man - Viktor Udvari. His sound have turned many heads lately, and this one is no different. His trademark sound flows perfectly with the EP - orchestrating dreamy synths with tight percussion and a lovely bassline.

Dimitri Monev rounds of the release with 'Surge'. This brings a slightly moodier vibe to the release, and shows what this artist is capable of in the studio. Keep your ears out for this one on the dance floor later on in the night...
