Wild Oats is proud to present the latest release from London artist K15.

Whether it's making hypnotic head-nod heaters, or pulsating dance floor grooves, K15's music always radiates soul and promise. He has been in the music scene in London for a while, but is a bit of an unsung hero in our eyes. His skill of mixing genres is unmatched. Pulling from different influences regardless of genre or era is what gives his music its distinct style.

"Insecurities" is K15's debut on Wild Oats; a 5-track EP with sampled dancefloor classics, re-works, and original music.

Mucho Stylez following up on his Raspy Tongs EP. Strong Remix Package this time with Robert Babicz who gives the track his own remarkable Babicz Style.

The Maghreban has been making some noise with his latest release on Versatile 'Wonder Woman'. Rather than continuing along that Disco-ish path, he changes tack as he returns to Zoot with 3 tunes influenced by (but not identical to) different times from his teens.

'Now Easy' is informed by those c. '93 dark jungle 12s he knew and loved. The Dark Stranger. Don Bad Man. Presha III. The Capsule EP. The video is a tribute to those and other records. 'Not Good' is an innocent mess about with a Korg M1. 'Hi Top' is reminiscent of Kid 'n Play formation dancing. Outlaw Posse. Caveman.

rchestrating their return to Kompakt with the much-acclaimed new full-length MOONBUILDING 2703 AD (KOMPAKT 330 CD 124), iconic pioneers of electronic music THE ORB found fresh momentum in an enticing melange of psychedelic loops, deep textures and striving beats. The album saw the duo at the peak of its creativity, indulging in that distinct style of warped miniature epics they've perfected, ever oscillating between ruminant sampling and propulsive jamming. With MOONBUILDING 2703 AD REMIXES / SIN IN SPACE PT.1, we present three reworks willing to tackle the sonic thicket of the source material - and succesfully translating The Orb's unique brand of musical insanity into their own resourceful idioms.

WOLFGANG VOIGT's aptly named ANTIRETROAMBIENTPSYCHOLKAMIX is the first of two revamps from the Kompakt founder and veteran 4/4 anarchist - starting off innocuous enough with some gently colored ambient trickling, it then suddenly sidesteps into lush pop techno minimalism at its very best. Voigt's second take is a particularly bouncy one, rightfully billed as WASSERMANN PSYCHOSCHAFFELCLUSTERMIX and marking the renewed interest in his concept rave alter ego in the wake of leftfield banger EISEN MEIN HERZ on TOTAL 15 (KOMPAKT 340 CD 125). The trio of remixes gets rounded out by LA-based producer TEEBS - nurtured by Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder imprint, he has built his reputation on rich edit-style beat tapestry, brought to full fruition in his ingenious MOON GROTTO MIX.

Henry Saiz must be one of the most brilliant producers on the worldwide electronic scene.
His unique sound can't be categorised and for this EP he has played with a mixture of genres such as; Electronica, Tech House, Disco and Techno. 'Haunted Girl Canyon' boasts an electronic landscape full of melodic synths and powerful beats and basses.
The remixes come from two heavy weights on the melodic electronic scene such as Rodriguez Jr. and Eelke Kleijn who have delivered their own re-interpretation of this masterpiece. Check out this amazing EP and be ready to be transported somewhere else.

Now Glass has been reworked across two fresh 12' releases via Ninja Tune. For the second 12', album cut 'Red Glass' is partnered with Hieroglyphic Being's remix of the same track - following the release of his much sought after and critically acclaimed album for Technicolour Records, he provides a tranced out dispersion of the original. It shares it's slab of wax with Beau Wanzer's remake of 'Fuel The Fire' - the original becoming a stuttering, looping rhythm of brooding intensity. Limited to 500 copies and includes 'Wounded' Fotomachine Remix (digital download).

After a long travel on the border of the Universe, Loquace came back us with a 4 trackers EP.

Early May will see Mihai Popoviciu return with his second long player in the shape of the
'Home' LP on Bondage music, comprising twelve original compositions from the Romanian artist.

Mihai Popoviciu : "The album's called "home" because it is inspired by my experiences from my home city Sibiu in Romania. Home is also the place where the album was produced, in my stripped down studio. It is where I always return to rest and chill after touring the world and the place where I feel most safe and comfortable. The artwork shows an image of the airport lane in Sibiu with surrounding hills and mountains in the back. It is a metaphoric "gate" to both leave and return home."

Romania's Mihai Popoviciu has carved out quite the career over the past decade releasing material through the likes of Highgrade, Hudd Traxx, Poker Flat and Fear of Flying. Here though we see him deliver his second full-length album and return to Bondage Music following a single on the label back in
2013.

Across the project Mihai delivers his signature dance floor focused, stripped back style with records like
'ACK', 'Sandstone Folder' and 'Tentacle Operated' showcasing the hypnotic and percussive style
Popoviciu executes so well. The project also drifts into smooth dubby realms via compositions like
'Cannon Poets' and 'Sunshine' while the likes of 'Triumph' and 'Music 999' radiantly display Mihai's proficient production abilities as he wanders into a brighter more house centric sound.

All in all Mihai Popoviciu turns in a coherent long player whilst exploring a broad range of styles, 'Focus and 'Havana' lay down a groove-led feel with subtle modulations and an unfaltering structure, while
'Data On Data', 'Paranoia' and 'Hypnosia' tip the focus over to dark and brooding territories with murky synth pads and chuggy low end tones. Once again Popoviciu has proven himself to be one of Romania's finest electronic music exports.

Following up on the high quality remix effort for Vince Watson's 'Planet Funk' released via Poker Flat in February it's now the time for Berlin's Marco Resmann to serve his first ever solo 12 on Poker Flat. With 'Basic Motion' the head of the highly respected Upon.You-label and founding member of the infamous duo Luna City Express explores the deeper realms and moodier corners of today's Tech House terrain. Starting the journey with the highly seductive title track 'Basic Motion' based upon a subtle, but well catchy bassline motif that's accompanied by raw and slowly accumulating synth tones which finally fall together, building a stirring, intoxicating melody inevitably causing a heavy buzz on the dancefloor, we see Marco Resmann at his very best here, catering an instant classic that's not meant to leave DJ's boxes for ages. With 'Ladies & Gentlemen' the tense, well-jackin' feel of Chitown takes over, offering a basic, stripped down bassline menu, ever bubbling, slightly acidic synths and a darkish, quite epic organ-referring line providing the goosebumps and a thrilling surprise for all late night punters. Finally we see 'More Or Less' sweetly rounding off this three track E.P. with tender and longing, melancholia driven and enchanting, slightly off-key strings sweetly contrasted by a frolicking, expertly crafted main theme that perfectly captures the secret desires of all nightbound creatures and dancefloor crowding souls.

New Jersey's Green Village imprint return with the second Village Elders compilation, comprising
four original cuts from Thefft/TOYC, BD1982, Eighth Ruin and Etch.
Since 2014 Cloy, Em-Et and Hilla's Green Village vinyl only imprint has acted as a beacon for forward
thinking house, techno and bass music genre's alike, recruiting DJ Spider, Franklin De Costa, Dakini9,
Nicuri, plus more. Now stepping up with Village Elders 002, Green Village utilise a group of versatile UK
producers including Embassy's Thefft alongside Crazylegs' TOYC, Keysound's break scientist Etch,
mysterious producer Eighth Ruin, and Tokyo based BD1982 who co-runs Diskotopia.
Thefft and TOYC's 'Atlantic' opens the package with syncopated rhythms laced with jittery organic hits,
before spiralling sonics and twisted melodies get hooked into a rattling 808 sub line. BD1982 then steps up
with 'In '95', utilising sparse rhythms alongside tightly programmed loops and synthetic ambience to create
a 16-bit atmosphere before employing rolling subs to propel the cut forward.
Eighth Ruin then ups the ante with razor sharp percussion in 'Whip', which pulsates along its waveform
thanks to a warm undulating bass, aided by IDM-tinged synth breakdowns and pitched down vocals. Etch
then delivers his new-wave break science in 'Predator', layering loops alongside a hypnotic reese in tandem
with menacing vocals and glistening atmospherics.
Village Elders 002 drops on Green Village on 25th July 2017.

Toi Toi return following on from last years Voigtmann release with Audio Werner stepping up to the plate with a fine two tracker of spacial minimal beats

Boutique Polish vinyl imprint Astropical Tapes returns for a second outing following the widespread acclaim of Astro Buhloone's inaugural effort Forever with an EP from label boss, Marcin Krupa.

Spa House is named after Krupa's hometown Konstancin-Jeziorna, which is a historic spa resort on the outer reaches of Warsaw's administrative area. The EP is a fittingly soothing affair, from the resplendent strings and vocal harmonies that adorn the rolling title track to the loose, early morning mellowness of Jeziorna. Remixes of the latter come from Universo, who opts for a distorted, acid-licked melodic version, and Studio Barnhus signing Naphta, who chops up a broken beat and woozy chords to discordant effect.

the opening tune is called smiles, so children's laughter fit the mode. the idea is that smiles and cries are natural for children and as they grow to adulthood the reality becomes more, therefore the duality of life itself is obvious in the mood of the song.
the new york city native that is working on his very own music for almost 20 years explains about the beginning of his new album that features eleven tunes for deep meditative club use and beyond.
it brings the listener house music full of cosmic realities, odd jazzing moments, japanese spoken word pop, synth spheres for ambient use and an overall outer-national atmosphere, that handsomely dances between roughness and subtle tuned in deepness.
i chose to base this project on numbers in order to impart a bit of depth and substance. 5, 6 and 7 have a meaning in both the literal and esoteric sense. we as a species are a combination of matter and energy, so it is a matter of relating the two in harmony.
my experience as an artist expresses this. it's like a testimony to the human condition and how we relate to treat and mistreat one another. this view is the base of a philosophy that is close to me, be-cause art imitates life.
so rather than doing a project that highlights ego posture, my intent is more about what can i give to the listener. as a human being, as an artist, what can i share it's a part of a philosophical tug of war that goes a lot deeper than the expectation of what one might think a dance album or rather an elec-tronic music album should be.
it's food for thought, not candy and a soft drink, but real substance that stays with you.he reveals about the profundity of his trilogy. at large it is a journey inward, compelling, mesmerising and en-chanting.
for the final chapter fred p mostly produced in his studio in berlin on various synths and with a bunch of mysterious samples, all later organized and programmed in ableton. this project has a beginning mid-dle and end. the record 5 was intended to introduce a meditative energy within a rhythmic construct as the number 5 represents the dynamic and unpredictable.
the whole album carries the energy of that ilk. the album 6 is of an earthly and more harmonious dis-cord. i attempt to bring the inner conflict in the form of natural unnaturalness. the raw energy of the search in this project i think is self explanatory, which is the point i believe to show how flawed one can be but express very specific themes honestly.
finally, with 7 my goal is to merge the two into balance, as one focused state of mind as 7 is the thinker beyond understanding or beyond the illusion. this is my hope people take away from this: a feeling of growth, optimism and positive energy. we are dealing with vibrations every person resonates with, so the idea is where do you want to take that
what do you want to do with that as an artist you can do some good or some harm. for me i choose to give the best that i can and i hope that the people that participate get a sense of that.' true words by a kind and gentle soul that loves to speak in music.

Gacha Bakradze follows a pair of releases on R&S/Apollo with two cuts of glorious deeptechnohouse perfect for modern dance floors the world over. On the flip Knightlife blesses us with a couple of perfectly executed retrofutureravediscohouse weapons for those who long for the good old days.

Visionquest's vinyl focused Special Edition imprint returns this May with a four-track EP from Jorge Savoretti entitled 'Soulvor'.
Argentina's Jorge Savoretti has been an avid record collector since the early nineties, and whilst engaging with South America's electronic music landscape at the time landed himself a residency at one of his countries most influential clubs, El Sotano. Since then, Jorge has carved out his unique sound within the global house and techno scene, landing him releases on taste making imprints such as Drumma, Esperanza, and most recently Ryan Crosson and Shaun Reeves revered Visionquest. Here we see Jorge back on the Special Edition side project of Visionquest following his 2016 'River Plate' EP, slotting him alongside material on the label from some of electronic music most esteemed artists, including Ricardo Villalobos and Agoria.
Flanging hats and delicate 808 rim shots lead the way in opening tack 'Hypsi', whilst a tight sub line, dubbed out atmospherics and hypnotic female vocals further intensify the composition. A visceral bass then meanders through 'Meoui', intertwined with spectral chords and infectious synth lines, all formed within a crisp drum workout.
Next up, glistening percussive hits and spiralling synths join forces with mesmeric effects and a subtle organic groove in the minimally inclined 'Miamaia' before Jorge then joins forces with fellow Argentinian Cape in the stripped back 'Soulvor'. Utilising pulsating subs and shuffling rhythms to create a framework for dissipating samples, subdued harmonies and earworm sonics to roam within.

Juliche Hernandez provides the debut vinyl release on Blind Vision Records.

With a pedigree already notching up releases on labels such as Downhill Music, System2, Roush, Dogmatik & Overall Music the young producer from the Canary Islands demonstrates his style of very deep and dark house with 3 original cuts.

Remix duties fall to sought after Berlin based producer Nick Beringer completing a tight first package on wax.

One of Marc Romboy´s biggest tracks of all times is without any doubt - Iceland' from 2008, a homage he is paying to one of the countries he´s totally in love with.

In order to celebrate the 10 yrs of Systematic in an extraordinary way this is the third limited picture disc in one go featuring two brand new interpretations of Marc´s milestone track made by the French Techno godfather Laurent Garnier in person and of course Iceland´s number one Electronica figureheads Gusgus.

While Garnier convinces again with a uncompromising and rough Techno journey, Gusgus surprise with an untypical remix, featuring an ambient sound environment which brings you to Iceland while you just close your eyes...

Meda Fury is proud to welcome back Moscow's finest OL aka Oleg Buyanov for another EP of East-European dance floor paranoia. OL has been busy since his last EP for MF - helping to start the hotly tipped vinyl only Moscow based label GostZvuk (), as well as recent sought after transmissions on Wilson Records. More moody, nostalgic and atmospheric than his most recent releases, 'Jungle TV's smudged textures occupy a similar space to the rhythmic shamanism of Hieroglyphic Being as well as the organic and hypnotic vibes of the legendary Drexciyan Other People Place project.
Opener and title track 'Jungle TV' sets the pace with thick bass & beats and winsome waterlogged cassette pads, radioactive shuffler 'Hand Plant' comes on like a lost Basic Channel cut with it's spiralling delays and jacked loops, dubbed out minimal jam 'Yellow Eyes' with its pounding toms and spatial groove feels like a vintage Mood II Swing dub, closing out with 'Bandit' displays a narcoleptic lo-fi pulse and enviable bass boom.
'Jungle TV' EP for Meda Fury could well be his finest work to date - realising all of his signature elements into one mesmerising whole.

Originally released in 1992 on the "Panic In Detroit" Compilation, this is one of Dan Curtin's finest deep techno tunes. The original version was carefully refurbished from the reel to reel tape and got a new mixdown. The "MU-TH-UR 6000-Remix" by Kim Brown transfers the original tune into a subtle deep house journey. Johannes Regnier stays with his "Replicant Remix" more close to the original version but knows how to arrange the single parts into a new sound odyssey. Orson Wells destroyed in his "Terminator Version" nearly everything from the original track and created a dark trip through lonely, post-apocalyptic landscapes.

Rex Hansson has made a solid original version. You clearly hear his skills as a past percussionist. The beats together with Skånska vocals, Low key Rhodes and some 303 knob twiddling make this track special and great.
Emil Nyman. This mix is something. It's tossing and turning from a metallic sound to the softest wood. From the deepest parts of the ocean we follow the pads and organ up in the sky.
The b side is dedicated Clark Eng. A minimal offbeat version with low toms and rattling high sticks, claps and snares. The track is moving like a Newcomen engine. The minor changes all the time makes it to a hypnotic minimal house track.

Here we have the very special return of the synonymous Tom Blip to the Blip Discs label since 2015's endlessly re-pressed 'Wrong Guanco'. Sentimental Strings kicks off with notes of early 2000s Daft Punk hands-up-in-the-air euphoria before politely cannonading into hints of Theo Parrish kick-drum chaos midway through, whilst a commingling of orchestral disco sample heaven, twinkly scintillation and sonic messages from the stars constitutes the B side, There Were No Signs. Early support coming in strong from Midland, Gerd, Francis Inferno Orchestra and more...

'There's a delicacy to the performances by Toxe—not a fragile delicacy, but the kind you'd associate with an Olympic rhythmic gymnast, whose twirls only seem light and graceful because of the immense muscular power behind them. ' - FADER
Toxe's horizons are very wide - she has deconstructed Britney Spears in "Xic" for Halcyon Veil and with 'Still Life' (co-produced with Mechatok) she caught the atttention of KENZO who used it as a score to their FW 2016 prints' presentation and she has also performed alongside Arca.
Toxe exhibits her relentless creativity as she edits and produces her own videos designs her visuals, exhibiting her relentless creativity which has lead to the excitement for the upcoming audio visual collaboration. The work, 'Morning Story', was created in collaboration with artist Niclas Hille. Released on limited edition vinyl and also digitally in May 2017.
The Swedish musician crafts some of the most stomach-churning music productions, innovative drum patterns and lovelorn melodies in the scene. Her debut EP 'Muscle Memory' was released on Staycore in October 2015. On the five tracks of this release she clashed boulder-heavy rhythms against intricate details painting a picture very human and emotional, developing a very distinctive sound. The artist concluded 2016 with her first ever South-American tour. More recently, Toxe played at Berlin's CTM Festival and MeetFactory in Prague. The Swedish experimentalist has just been announced for a Gucci x Club To Club night in Milan, Best Kept Secret and Wiener Festwochen's new Hyperreality festival.

A name on everyone's lips, charismatic talent wAFF is back onboard Hot Creations curating the 'Sick Pleasure EP' with three original cuts that once again showcase his unique style and adept understanding of the dancefloor.
Kicking things off with 'Kidney Punch', a throbbing bass is perfectly executed under blissful, angelic vocals. Party starter 'Flipback' is next up igniting carnival-esque energy. On the flip, the sonic 'Sick Pleasure' carries the mind away through hypnotic melodies that ride amongst the layers of intricate percussion.

After a quick 4 years hiatus, filled with releases on Innervisions, Maeve and a couple of remixes, Aera is finally back on his own Aleph Music imprint with 3 unique tracks. A1. Two Planets is the most obvious track of the EP. An exercise in outsider trance, a pulsating, polyrhythmic synth propels the track forward, the intricate 707 pattern keeps a steady pace, while background strings provide all the drama. B1. Stylistically reminiscent of Aera's first releases on Aleph Music, Black Glitz is the deepest track of the bunch. Floating on a cloud of dreamy pads and voices, that arpeggio makes you realise immediately who you are dealing with. B2. Maskull is a rather ambiguous little tune. Somewhat rough around the edges, sparkling in the darkness of late nights, dwelling in voices and fog, this is the one for the heads.

The upcoming 'Fluid' EP by Robot Koch is a Diynamic-debut for the award winning LA-based producer/composer who has already released on labels such as Monkeytown, Bpitch Control, Project Mooncircle or his very own Trees & Cyborgs.

Besides his electronic music releases, the RBMA Alumnus is much known for creating soundscapes for international television shows in Europe and the United States alike, and it is precisely this cinematic quality in his music that can be perceived in his latest release, 'Fluid'.

The opening title track - Fluid' is a delicately melancholic electronic ballad featuring French multi-instrumentalist Julien Marchal. Marchal has contributed piano improvisation parts, out of which Koch in turn has distilled loops to make the arrangement that creates that distant hopefulness that drives through this track's core.
The second track called 'Reach' is a feature with singer Delhia de France, remixed by Berlin-based producer Chi Thanh. 'Reach' has been a vital part of Solomun's sets for the past months, taking thousands of dancers' hearts all over the world by storm. The elegance of Delhia's vocals (who graces Robot Koch's discography like Bill Murray does to Wes Anderson movies) combined with the driving remixing skills of Chi Thanh amplifies the essence of what Robot Koch has produced: an uplifting dancefloor hymn that calls for closed eyes and raised hands.

The 2nd release from I Walked by Night comes firing out of the southside of Glasgow. A young man by the name of The Burrell Connection has been flying under the radar for a few years now... A Perth native / Glasgow immigrant has been making music since he was 15, his first release came via West End Communications (003) in 2015. Since then he has released most recently with Craigie Knowes on the amazing 2nd annual War Child fundraiser along with Legowelt, Shanti Celeste, Neville Watson and many more. 'Southside' was made with a Juno 6, Yamaha Dx21, Roland TR8, Korg MiniLogue and twisting samples and recording most tracks in one take with little post editing. This EP oozes raw energy and shows off a delicate deft touch. After debuting at the Warehouse Project in 2016, The Burrell Connection will be producing his first live show in 2017.

The ongoing celebration of Kontra-Musik's 10 years' anniversary is basically a recognition of the importance of charisma within the predominantly mechanical sphere of electronic music. To quote label boss Ulf Eriksson in a recent Groove interview: "To release on Kontra you need to have developed a unique and personal sound. If you are one of the machines out there producing electronic music for the dead, look elsewhere." For us, the Kontra-Musik X release was an emblem of our label's history, filled with unique and personal sounds. But in one instance one may rightfully claim Kontra-Musik's conventionality: our record sleeves are generally black & white. On X Color, however, we decided to make our murky label a bit more colorful by letting a handful of our favorite artists present their own takes of classic Kontra tracks. As a figure of speech, these artists repaint the tracks with their own colors. Sebastian Mullaert and Porn Sword Tobacco, for instance, work with very warm and vibrant colors while Max Loderbauer's choice is much more austere. Dorisburg's palette is lively and trippy while Sa Pa seems to have forgotten the protective mask when blending his intoxicating mixture. Exactly what coloration Echospace went with, we're not sure - the dub layers are so thick the paint will probably never dry - but we love it all the same. And this is true for every contribution of every nuance.
