Physical Therapy - Million Years Crushed
ALLERGYFREE002
>UK / England
12inch07.04.201407.APR.14

HouseTechDetroitTechnoTechno

After releases on Fifth Wall and Grizzly, Physical Therapy returns for a follow up to the first release on his own Allergy Season label, with the EP "Million Years Crushed." Three cuts of maximal electronic dance music, along with a deep retrofit from Berghain resident Norman Nodge.

The title track delivers a confident, club-ready message from the Planet Love. Nodge (Ostgut Ton, Marcel Dettmann Records) flips the track into a crackling 8:05 AM dub. On the b-side, "Val E of the Dolls" coats pounding 16x16 techno with distant house pianos and "American Cream" makes a muscular layer cake of percussive synths.

The digital version of the EP includes "Salad Dressing," a cut of shuffling, ecstatic house.

Available for public consumption both in both digital and vinyl on April 7. Be sure to take with lots of water and do not operate heavy machinery within 8 hours of listening.

The Glitz - No Drama 2x12"
VMRA066 2X12"
Voltage Musique
2x12inch19.03.201519.MAR.15

HouseElectroTech

RS1709
R&S Records
12inch18.07.201718.JUL.17

HouseMinimalTech

R&S presents a killer EP from Romania's Ada Kaleh AKA Iulian Cuculea, which follows his stunning Alejandro Jodorowsky inspired debut LP "Dene descris" on his vinyl only imprint Ada Kaleh România.

Like many of the second wave of Romanian minimal producers, Iulian's music combines propulsive hypnotic rhythms with rich, organic sounds that envelop the listener in an otherworldly atmosphere. "The creation process is a moment of temporary madness for me' Iulian explains, "I enjoy working with layers of sounds that intertwine and embrace like a lotus flower. Folding and unfolding.' Finding fans in the form of countrymen like Raresh, Petre Inspirescu, Rhadoo, Barac, Cezar, Priku and internationals like Ricardo Villalobos, Sonja Moonear, tINI, Prins Thomas, he's also dropped critically acclaimed releases and/or remixes for UVAR, The Rabbit Hole, Third Wave Black, Supernature as well as his own Ada Kaleh România imprint.
Opener "Palatul de clestar" (translated "The glass palace", received a vinyl only release on his own label in 2014) sets the tone with a mesmeric rhythm track overlaid with a haunting clarinet part and spaced out synth gurgles that combine to enthralling effect. Apollo Records alumnus Laurine Frost supplies a trippy, blown out version that blackens the tone of the original into a work of quiet menace. On the flip "Devotare" (translated "Devotion", also a vinyl only release on his own label in 2013) strikes a more strident tone, the grooves strut rather than purr - gauzy chord stabs weave between the beats and clunking percussion in a delicate yet complex interplay of elements.

Alfredo Mazzilli - Nibiru W/ Iori Rmx
LNTHN005
Lanthan.audio
12inch09.08.201609.AUG.16

HouseTechTechnoTechno

Label owner, Christian Gerlach recruited the young and very talented Alfredo Mazzilli, which already showed his skills with his latest releases on Edit Select Records or Planet Rhythm. In the EP, which is dedicated to the Babylonian gods, Alfredo takes us into worlds of sound that reminds us of a run through the jungle and arrivals at mighty temples. Shamash opens the EP and prepares the mood for an ritual which is gonna to be celebrated. Wrong Assessment focuses the piece in its core, but in a deeper way and holds on to a heavy baseline. Ishtar reminiscent of an ceremony and the ep reaches its climax which is also continued in the Iori remix. The highenergy piece Marduck could be considered as an joyfully extract from this distant world.
With This Packet lanthan Audio combines the heavy architecture of old temples, but with an ease that welcomes the coming months with joyful anticipation.

Eluize - Talk In Technicolour Ep /hans Berg Remix
NTTD001
Night Tide
12inch03.05.201603.MAY.16

HouseDeepTech

Introducing Talk in Technicolour, the debut release of cross-continental imprint Night Tide. Produced by label founder Eluize (Emma Sainsbury), the EP features three original tracks that showcase her unique sound. The release is rounded out by remixes from Hans Berg & Seth NK and a trippy spoken word recording discovered while digging in the archives. 'Make Me Sin' swells and flows. It's a rapturous tale awash with cascading musical ideas, hypnotic rhythmic elements and a driving bottom end. This introspective cut combines orchestral instrumentation with breathy vocals from Eluize herself that sing of the lure of things that make us feel good. 'Talk in Technicolor', the title track, is self-explanatory. It's a dreamy and melodic club cut that packs a surprising amount of punch. The vast palette of sounds and fine details give it a cinematic quality not often heard in music aimed at the dance floor. We recommend you close your eyes while listening - let your mind drift and see what soaring colours float into view. On the B side, 'Up All Night' is a sub-driven slow down. Unhurried and uncluttered, key and string lines float through open space while gentle vocals slide into the landscape, reflecting on sunsets that turn into sunrises. Hans Berg reinterprets the piece into a powerfully deep techno storm. His version is a relentless and energetic pairing of synth lines that whip and scatter over the original's playful melodic refrains. In other words, a monster that presents a not-so-subtle call to rave. In addition, a batch of thirty records will come with a limited edition cassette. The tape features a remix of 'Up All Night' by Seth NK, the master of all things lo-fi. His version is a sleazy re-imagining with trashy drums and murky tones that weave through the silt.

Max Mcferren - Monk's Mood
ALLERGYFREE004
Allergy Season
12inch28.10.201528.OCT.15

HouseDeepElectronicaTech

Allergy Season is very pleased to announce Max McFerren's "Monk's Mood", three tracks of cathedral funk paired with a remix by Blondes. Under his real name and his MCFERRDOG alias, McFerren has gained attention for appearances on label's like Ultimate Hits and Don't Be Afraid, as well as two cassettes and a 12" for 1080p. Made over the course of two years, "Monk's Mood" is an evocative, emotionally resonant EP of dance floor music.

In the past McFerren has devoted himself to the role of the human voice in dance music, using sustained vocals and chopped phonics in an examination of feeling and texture. "Monk's Mood" presents a new thesis in these studies, marrying choral vocals with wide screen, panoramic techno and electro. Delicate and ornate, yet baritone, the EP is a distinct proposition in the current electronic music landscape.

RVNG International duo Blondes provide a swirling remix of McFerren's "Hunting" on the B-side. The rework sees the duo pushing their gear based take on melodic techno to a new levels of dance floor readiness.

Rekids
12inch20.02.201720.FEB.17

HouseTechTechnoTechno

Radio Slave readies a double A-side to mark the 100th release on Rekids this February.
Having recently celebrated ten years, the consistency of music on Matt Edwards' Rekids is indisputable with releases from Nina Kraviz, Mr. G, David Morales, Peggy Gou and DJ Deep to name a few. Aside from his A&R abilities Edwards' extensive understanding of electronic music is evident in his various pseudonyms. Amongst these Radio Slave is easily his most illustrious and most fitting for the seminal label's milestone 100th release.

Containing all the hallmarks of a Radio Slave production, 'Another Club' merges looped vocals with thudding kicks as echoing stabs and infectious hats work their magic. On the flip, 'Feel The Same' is a funky slice of Detroit inspired house.
Early support from Chris Liebing, Ryan Elliot, DJ Hell, Gerd Janson, Laurent Garnier, DJ Deep, Markus Suckut..

KMSORIGINS004
KMS
12inch18.07.201718.JUL.17

HouseDeepDiscoTechTechnoTechno

Kevin Saunderson's KMS imprint is a label that should require no introduction. The motor city label has been a Techno mainstay since it's inception in 1987. Numerous Detroit luminaries have released classic after classic on the labels hallowed grooves over the last 25+ years and it's influence is still felt in contemporary dance music today. The idea behind the KMS "Origins" series is to shine a light on the lesser known cuts in the KMS vaults as well as the classics that have given the label it's legendary status during it's lifetime. Hot on the heels of the previous collections for the label, the 'Origins' series presents another stellar selection of jams from the legendary Detroit label's archives.

Opening the EP is K.A. Posse aka Kaay Alexi, a legendary producer whose 'Tell Alexi' features here, a raw, low slung acid burner with sultry vocals and tough as nail drum programming from 1989. Killer stuff indeed. Following that we have the Jovonn Blade mix of Terrence Parker's The Lost Articles jam 'Touch Me Baby' from 1993 - some classic Detroit early proto-beatdown sounds, rough and ready and still doing damage today. On the flip is the stone cold banger 'Flash' by FIX aka Orlando Voorn, this demented P-Funk ripper never quits and is a monster! Classic material. Finishing things off is the MK mix of Nexus 21's 'Still Life Keeps Moving On', it doesn't get any bigger than this, pure heat. Pretty much an all-star line up on vol. 4, a perfect release for the novice and expert alike! File under classic, all tracks encapsulate the Detroit sound while retaining that raw energy and vibe that this music is famous for! Heat!
100% legit, compiled with the assistance of Kevin 'Reese' Saunderson and the whole KMS family, Detroit, MI.

Woz - Grains

Lobster Boy Records
12inch27.03.201727.MAR.17

HouseDeepTech

Ashley 'Woz' Westlake is back with a nod to the sounds that have inspired him. Moving away from the moodier melodies of his more recent writing, new tracks Celsius and Grain mark an exploration into some new techniques and sounds.

Feeling inspired after listening to some old bits from the great Terrance Parker and Kerri Chandler, Woz loaded a 909 into his Rytm and a vox, bongos and chords into a sampler with the intention of working on his workflow and having some fun. The end product was Celsius which was quickly snapped up by Lobster Boy and left Woz needing a second track for the release. He wanted to roll with the similar theme of giving his take on an older sound, so using the same workflow on the drum machine and sampler he wrote a track heavily inspired by his love for electro.

HouseDeepVocalElectronicaTech

Zeb Wayne returns with a majestic and scintillating song titled 'Wulfman', featuring a trio of top tier remixers including Alva Noto, Calibre and Radio Slave.
Following the release of 'Float' on Rekids last year, 'Wulfman' is a beautiful song that demonstrates how musically versed Wayne is as a producer, blending a serene vocal by Ziwi, with intricate sounds to create a truly beautiful song from start to finish.
Alva Noto, who composed the film score for The Revenant alongside Ryuichi Sakamoto, as well as being the co-founder of esteemed minimal imprint Raster Noton, is the first of three heavyweight remixers. The renowned German producer employs his signature elements of grit, static and glitch resulting in an inimitable melancholic cut.
Well respected for traversing numerous electronic music sub-genres, as evident in his recent album on Craig Richards' The Nothing Special, Calibre ups the energy in his remix using sultry synths, syncopated percussion and mesmerising effects.
Concluding the colossal package, Rekids founder Radio Slave creates a club-ready reinterpretation of his own, complete with fine-tuned kicks, looped vocals and a heady bassline.

Water Jump' EP is the second EP from arguably one of 2012's most exciting new DJs and producers. Featuring 4 brand new tracks 'Drone Logic', 'Water Jump', 'Receptionist' and 'A Quiet Life' all illustrating Daniels variety as a producer and knowledge of underground club music, referencing the great music of labels such as Kompakt and Ghostly as well as many sounds originating away from the dancefloor, this is yet another big step forward for Avery. 'Drone Logic' has already had regular plays from The Chemical Brothers and a certain Mr.Weatherall who received upfront copies.
It follows the success of Daniel's debut EP on Erol Alkan's label Phantasy 'Need Electric' which brought support from Damian Lazarus, Maya Jane Coles, Four Tet, Richie Hawtin, Gesaffelstien, Tiga, Brodinski, Justin Robertson, Jackmaster - as well as the aforementioned Chems and Weatherall - to name just a handful. After more than 2 years of waiting Berlin-based artist Fabian Dikof is back with a new release on Best Works Records his EP the "Who".
His trade-mark sound remains: catchy arpeggio-sounds with tech-house synth usage.
With these elements he creates a very mature tapestry that gives the tune great dynamic play in its rhythmic morphosis.

Last but not least remixer Dubspeeka reworks the original giving it a more minimal techno-flavour and with its tool-character it hits the dance-floor full on.

Very first release of Dream Real, brand new record label launched by french producer and DJ Nathan Melja., Taking its influences in old DIY recordings, the dirty and organic aesthetic that Nathan Melja showed in is previous works is still very present. The EP consists in two tracks for the heavy ravers and one for the lovers. Jerky Teardrop contains everything to make the club go wild as the Blue mix is more melodic and take us through a much peacer journey but still has the potential to make people dance. Places We Belong To stands by itself in the record and is perfect for a ride when the sun is showing up. Recorded in Paris and features the almighty Majeste on the vocals. W8 for the dropA!

"The Existence" is likely the most functional track we have yet heard from Andre Crom's recent series of solo EP's. A tight drum groove, a rolling, modulating acid bassline, eerie synth pads and a spaced out vocal create a mixture that's sure to fill any dancefloor.

Oliver Deutschmann, well known from countless gigs in clubs and on festivals all over the world and releases on labels like Vidab, Soma or Mobilee, reworks the parts towards a stricter functional techno approach, clearly giving proof to his roots with his "adopted home" Berghain.

"Vanishing" completes the EP with a dark and moody acid trip.

HouseTechTechnoTechno

Ecstatic reprise the line-up of Not Waving and Pye Corner Audio's Intercepts (2014) collaboration, along with the crucial addition of Silent Servant, for a faultless dancefloor session prizing one peach per artist on a lurid neon yellow plate. DJs and dancers can trust they are in very safe hands with exclusive, deadly material supplied by all three operators, which also doubles up as a showcase for their incoming joint US tour dates.
Catching each producer at the apex of their respective games, they demonstrate the difference between original forms and their idiosyncratic, modern antecedents in alternately optimised and
augmented distillations of EBM, acid, and techno, using finely honed instincts to parse the best bits from each style and leave the rest to rot.
Not Waving sets the example with a twanging and typically irregular disarrangement of EBM robo-funk, railing a lean and potent stripe of clambering machine pulses and barely-harnessed
arpeggios with fragments of anti-racism activist Jane Elliot that lend it a recontextualised, determined impetus.
Martin Jenkins aka The Head Technician aka Pye Corner Audio follows with a slowly tempered, supple piece of analogue magick, coaxing out a sublime twine of helical basslines and a soaring
top line of the rarest kind, one completely destined to trigger stunned and loved-up reactions in the right situations.
And the best is yet to come with Silent Servant's impeccable B-side, tallying his first release of original material in 2017 with a sleek signature turn of fine-tuned 5/4 techno powered by nagging EBM bass and spaced out within a morphing sound sphere, with intercepted narrator who becomes fully revealed into the dramatic climax.

Butch - El Camion

repressed !

Moon Harbour is delighted to welcome German-Turk Butch for its next EP, a scintillating two track full of the prolific producer's usual dance floor clout. A fine remix from Stereo Tension boss Ellroy finishes the package off in style.

Butch is something of a music making machine: over the last ten years he has turned out more tha 50 EPs and two albums. Often marrying house and techno with freaky after party vibes, he has
collaborated with the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, runs his own label Bouq and has released on man others including Visionquest, Drumcode and Play It Say It. This latest EP is not his first time on Mo
Harbour, of course, because last year he worked with Gel Abril on the mighty Juice Machine.

Opening up the EP is 'El Camion,' a rich and bubbly nine minute opus with muttered vocals adding intrigue to a supple and rubbery groove. Bird sounds and vocal calls, colourful synth daubs and
sunny day stylings all make this a hypnotic affair that is perfect for open air parties, terraces and summer shindigs.

Remixing this one is Ukraine born, Canadian based Ellroy, a producer who often has his tracks played by the likes of Marco Carola and Reboot. He releases them on his own Stereo Tension and
here flips the original into a more turbocharged and direct version with expansive pads, blasts of bass and busy claps and toms that are loose and funky. It's another winner designed to make a bi
impact.

Last but not least, Butch's 'Vente Con Papi' is another playful and inventive groove filled with quirk drums and off kilter sounds, woodpecker percussion and whispered vocals. It is humid, fulsome an
the sort of charming track that will have whole 'floors under its woozy and intoxicating spell in no time.

All three tracks here are perfect bits of dancing dynamite that will have crowds all over the world going wild.

Since his first release in 2014, Gardens of God has been building himself a sterling reputation that many can only dream of. This Autumn sees the Lithuanian DJ and producer launch his own Sodai imprint, with his own two track production 'River / Ghost EP' forming the debut release.
'River ' opens with a captivating force and level of intricacy that's undeniably a Gardens Of God signature production. 'G host ' is highly emotive and charged, a record that unfolds with such force taking overarching white noise and horns to command the peak of the night. The creation of the Sodai label arose as an outlet to release his own music at his own pace. As he explains,
(Sodai will allow me) to experiment with my sounds and create an ongoing project that gives me the freedom to style both with art and music '.
Minidaugas Lapinskis aka Gardens of God has only released a handful of EP's and yet his name is often spoken with great regard among fellow artists, including the illustrious Maceo Plex. For over a decade Gardens of God has been steadily mastering his craft and creating both film and television scores. It is only in recent years that he has decided to unveil his work and open the Doors to his studio, as seen over at XLR8R .
