In 2011 Dave Monolith released his first CD album "Welcome" on Rephlex. Here is finally his first album in vinyl which brings together the EP released on his Bandcamp (in digital format only) with unreleased tracks between braindance and acid. Everybody can find his groove thanks to the quality and the completion of his work!

Jamie Jones' revered label Hot Creations is back with another hotly-anticipated EP. 'Wobble Talk' comes courtesy of Toronto-based DJ & producer Nathan Barato and features Sasha Brown.

'Talk On' featuring Sasha Brown displays Barato's skill at building and releasing the pressure. Opening with rattling percussion and hi-hats, a rumbling bassline kicks in whilst the echoing, chopped-up samples of Sasha's vocals are teased in and out. Two breakdowns build tensions until the full vocals become more evident and recognisable, the refrain of 'Talk To Me Baby' repeating until that rumbling bassline kicks back in.

'Wobble Back' is a more straightforward affair. A low-pitched 'wobbling' synth melody over the top of skipping hi-hats and a thumping bass forms the backbone of the track, whilst various samples and sounds echo in and out. A sparse breakdown towards the end of the track gives the track an extra punch when the bassline kicks back in.

Nathan's profile has been rapidly rising of late, with previous releases on Cajual, MOOD, Relief, Saved and Circus Records as well as house stalwarts Defected. His worldwide touring schedule has been gathering pace, not just across his native Canada and the US, but also in Ibiza - he played Paradise, Do Not Sleep and Music On this season - and major events and venues across Europe, ADE, We Are FSTVL and The Warehouse Project to name a few.

The second release from Strings Records is produced by Nutons, a project created by Dj Vibe and Fauvrelle for their less obvious studio output. The duo made their debut on Innervisions Records in 2014 with their track "umble, which gained global respect from names like Visionquest crew, Dixon, Art Department and many others! Holding for an all year on Innervisions top 10 sales.

When trends in music can come and go in the blink of an eye Nutons have an unrivaled ability to create long revolving landscapes of deep techno, which over the course of the track take you on a journey, adding subtle elements as you listen. All tracks driving us into their universe, definitely a record for after-hours when it's time to take the crowd from point A to B.

For the remix work we invited the fresh project from France, the Two Diggers, coming from the roots of house music and releases on Djebali, Politics Of Dancing, Oblack, Decay and a few others! The remix is a great deep house groover with soft atmospheres that will blow dancer's mind.

Following on from Radio Slave's 'Vision' that landed earlier on in the year, Rekids assembles three colossal remixes from Rødhåd, Obscure Shape & SHDW and Johannes Heil.
Rødhåd's remix leads the package with tantalising synths, filtered effects and stuttering percussion that together assist in generating an impending tension. On the flip, Obscure Shape & SHDW immediately drop cavernous kicks before the original's distinguishable pads brighten up an otherwise dark and sinister aesthetic. Tying up the package, Johannes Heil's ethereal rendition echoes throughout providing a deep and mesmerising conclusion.

Reset Robot is back on Truesoul with an exquisite 4 track EP. Exploring his signature deep and funky tech-house vibes, Reset Robot has used percussion and synth stabs to create a deep, underlying groove throughout this EP. Tickled with hooks throughout the EP, there is a defining character within each track, in particular 'Lost in a Duvet' with its unique piano hook that you will stay with you for days.

Following a characterful introductory release The Untold Stories returns with a magical double vinyl VA, again in their customary yellow and black vinyl colour scheme, respectively representing the sun and the darkness. Entitled Chapter I, it brings to the fold a whole new selection of artists, consisting of 8 tracks, each full of the distinct spirituality which appears to be so central to the music the project releases. The first record, of two, begins with a work by the bright artist Furz, from the lands of South America, who skilfully combines his natural latin rhythm with sounds filled with a modern attitude to create an irresistibly extroverted groove. Then comes Suokas with 'Holy Moment', a new momentum, more spiritual, a track rich in ecstatic brass, wind, and horns, which all ring out exalting. Turning the record over we find an Andrey Zots work, where intricate percussion, highly charged with energy and attitude, traverse a mysterious landscape with cool and assured footwork. Concluding the first record is Ivan Lopez, releasing under his birth name for the first time, with a beautifully creative work, in which rich earthy sounding percussion provides the momentum through an air at once sensual and ethereal. The second record begins in the midst of a wild imagination, the track 'Interne' by Pheek, full of primal rhythm, the heat of a meeting, all very ritualistic. Then comes Shcaa's track 'Exil', a dark mood with confident gait, a work seemingly with conflict of body and mind, as the vocal evocatively suggests 'Get yourself together', adding to the ominous mystic. The final side begins with the Suburbs masterful piece 'Regarde le ciel': filled with monstrous sounds of transformation and succinct strong bass which push through a mystical air, all at once in harmony with the laid-back and attractively arrogant step of the groove. Out of this masterful darkness we come to the final track 'Never stop' by Mikael Stavostrand featuring K.atou, which in light and positive mood brings to an end the first chapter of The Untold Stories

LUnder the tablecloth of Steve Murphy and Die Roh first releases, Madi Grein has recently collaborated with Sagats (boss of Noho Records) for two exciting 90s flavoured EP for Housewax and Eat More House. Being a full time of the Riviera and the Vape/Vulcano projects, he can be considered without doubts a true ambassador of The Sound of Brenta.
'Mainly Love' is a truly dancefloor EP, raw and old-schoolish. Clean drums drive an hypnotic vocal hook on 'Mantide',sleaking a visceral dribbling bass. 'Express Yourself', has been heavily influenced from a short trip to London, as fast broken beats lurk under acid frequencies, soulful vocals and scattered piano fills. 'I´m feeling hot' is pure sweat for the dancers. Its remix Marieu (half of The Analogue Cops and boss of Restoration and EnlightenedWax) which closes the record with a reckless remix with strange guitars and mysterious alien samples.

Marco Bernardi, a British producer with quite a flamboyant personality is no stranger to the Burek family. Having already released an excellent 2-part 12" series titled "Laffer EP" for Barba last year, it could've been expected that he'd appear on the mothership at some point. As on those two records, there's plenty of synth action going on, although with a little bit more restraint and less roughness. EP consists of 4 tracks, who's names to some extent hint at what you might expect to hear when you put the needle on - "Preminitions Of A Solar Blank", "Invisible Breaths", "Static Winds" and "Walking With Slippers". The opener, "Preminitions Of A Solar Blank", is a wonderful and rich composition, with a melody-heavy approach which does not cripple it's dancefloor momentum for one second. Masterful! "Invisible Breaths" is slightly deeper than the opener, with a subtle emotion buried between the layers of synth lines that organically unravel throughout the track. "Static Winds" is perhaps the closest to Marco's earlier Barba output. A bit squeaky, a bit messy and properly mental with a devastating effect on the dancefloor. "Walking With Slippers", last track on the release, is a very direct one, with a straightforward beat and a heavy synth line which is just impossible to ignore.

South Brooklyn's P.Leone returns for his second release on Spencer Parker's Work Them Records with four atmospheric techno cuts this November. Earning his stripes in New York and Tokyo, P. Leone is an established DJ however since turning his hand to producing his talents in the studio are indisputable.
Echoing kicks and piercing stabs form the effervescent '9V9' before a chugging low end works alongside tantalising effects in 'Cold Metallic'. Next up, 'Stability Control' generates a dusky aesthetic with moody bass throbs and saw like synths until the high-octane 'Apex Corners' concludes the package with a relentless energy.

R&S is teaming up for a one off with one of the most important and influential electronic music acts in history, The Prodigy.

Roadblox is one of the standout tracks from their latest opus 'The Day Is My Enemy'. R&S's arena filling noisenik Paula Temple was honoured to remix the track and has provided two superb remixes the first featuring the full, snarling vocal from Maxim, marauding bass, bleeping synth arpeggios, noise squalls and pistoning percussion combing to apocalyptic effect, while the second removes the vox for an even deeper trip.

Liam Howlett and R&S founder Renaat Vanderpapiere's friendship goes back a long way so they are hyped about this release. As Liam says:

'I've always had massive respect for R&S records and Renaat since the start so its fukin great to see a Prodigy tune in the shape of Paula Temples heavy Roadblox remix come out thru the label'

Two years after the release of his acclaimed debut EP on I'm a Cliché, Jakarta's best kept secret is back on Cosmo Vitelli's imprint with four terrific original tracks. Jonathan Kusuma is a producer who has managed in the space of a few releases and remixes to develop a signature sound which mostly relies on taking disco and EBM elements and putting them in new and unexpected contexts, offering us a glimpse of what modern dance music would sound like if house and techno had never existed. Narcotic, hedonistic, abstract and particularly efficient on the dancefloor, Kusuma's music is always about quality and never about quantity and so we are particularly thrilled to share with the world the four new tracks that constitute this EP.
A1 AUTOMATONE
The EP opens with this streamlined yet highly efficient tune of a robotic persuasion. Kusuma uses thick sub bass, a round edged groove, metallic percussion, dramatic sweeps and synthetic spurts to create a track that sounds like a sleek machine with a highly polished take on the Power Electronics sound tailored for the dancefloor.
A2 MORDOR DISKO
It is one of Kusuma's strong suits to produce tracks with a disco kit that go beyond the usual confines of the genre. Here's a fine example of this. With latin percussion, arpeggios and several layers of melody, the robotic feel is still present but less so than on the previous track. Theres an element of darkness, as hinted by the track title, if they had discos in Tolkien's universe, DJs would probably spin this.
B1 POLICE & SNITCH
Somewhere between EBM and disco, this is a tune driven by a hypnotic yet utterly groovy analog bassline along with warm percussion sounds, catchy melody and mind-boggling effects. This tune sounds like the soundtrack to a chase scene in the backstreets of Jakarta and it is guaranteed to induce movement on the dancefloor.
B2 SHOOTING DRUMS
Closing the EP is this dramatic rhythm track that goes way beyond your usual DJ tool. Hand percussion is given a subtle beat repeat treatment, noisy bleeps, eerie vocal samples and arresting pads are used to great effect. It's another example of Kusuma's signature sound, tribal and psychedelic but refined and never out of touch

Italy's Luca Ballerini debut on Be As One with a 4 tracks EP of exciting, fresh techno. 2 well balanced sides, both showcasing Luca's different approaches to the label sound, and a different output from the label. An EP that shouldn't be missing in any collection

Copenhagen techno game-changer Kölsch responsible for recent classics 'Opa' and 'All Things Matt' provides a heavy hitting A-side of festival friendly techno while Ejeca taps into the London bass-meets-house vibe perfectly and Berlin mainstay Dave DK worked with Ewan Pearson to create a classic deep house version that's been supported by Michael Mayer, Luca Bacchetti, Audiojack & Mark Farina to name a few.

For the hundreth release on Boxer Recordings the label owners were able to find someone very special. Someone who impressed and characterized them already 20 years ago when both were working in the Groove Attack warehouse responsible for packing boxes mostly with Kruder & Dorfmeister records and CD's.
Peter Kruder - known as producer, DJ and one half of the electronic super-duo Kruder & Dormeister - delivers the perfect soundtrack for the 100th Boxer anniversary party.
Stylistically confident he's crossing the areas of House, Techno and Dub and touches even the border of Dubstep on the track "he Sign".
The release with the plainly title "Boxer 100" is not a knockout nor a right punch - "Boxer 100" is a fleetingly skipping athlete who's strength comes from his verve. Just like a certain Mr.Martiniq 100 catalog numbers earlier.

Tokyo touch down: Ovum welcomes one of Japan's most consistent techno producers in recent years... Ryogo Yamamori. The man behind the well-respected 951 imprint and a DJ schedule that frequently sees him demonstrating dark strategies from Korea to Canada, Ryogo makes his Ovum debut with a tight tech triptych. Crisp, penetrative and wholly uncompromised, each cut is detail designed for the dancefloor. We ignite with the vibrant hypnosis of 'Hasu'. Its literal translation of lotus means everything, from a sturdy stem of filtered hook insistency, grainy kicks and nutrient-rich bass, a bright sonic flower blooms in every direction. 'Overwork' follows: A lean mean groove machine galvanised by a woozy 808 that bubbles ominously. Occasionally dropping into a detuned pool of paranoia, our senses are heightened by metallic alien stabs that rise gradually and, at points, menacingly. Proceedings are brought to a heightened warehouse-ready climax as we conclude with 'Re-Source'. An angular acid track that taps deep into the Ovum genus, it hits with timeless class as minimal elements make the maximum impact, a spiked out acid riff, thunderous kicks and precision-placed rifle-like claps ensure the full physical tech experience. Tensnake makes a welcome return on wax with his first release of 2016 Desire' via his own imprint, True Romance on April 15th. On the A side, Tensnake brings us a slow and low 112bpm dancefloor burner. Written during a travel to a very warm and sandy place, Desire is a dreamy groove with hazy vocals, airy guitar and exotic synths that will stick to you like glue. The flipside, Fantasma, is a trippy acid disco number infused with oriental influences. Flirting with Balearic and psychedelia, this record sees Tensnake going off the beaten path and sets the tone for what should be a great year in music for him and his label True Romance.

Damian Lazarus presents his new artist project.

Damian Lazarus and the Ancient Moons will make their debut on Crosstown Rebels this summer. The single 'Lovers' Eyes (Mohe Pi Ki Najariya)' is the first release from Lazarus's new collaborative artist project, which will build towards an album and live shows in early 2015.

Lazarus has been joined at the production controls by James Ford (Simian Mobile Disco, Arctic Monkeys, Florence), with album recording sessions completed in Mexico in February. Ancient Moons brings together a wide assortment of vocalists, collaborators and players, from around the world, with more details of this heady mix to be released in the near future. Taking inspiration from Lazarus's Lazpod series, Get Lost events and Day Zero festival in Mexico, this is music for deserts, jungles and sunrises.

Getting the ball rolling is this 12', 'Lovers' Eyes (Mohe Pi Ki Najariya)', a single that promises to be one of the year's more unique and distinctive electronic music releases. Vocalists Fareed Ayaz, Abu Muhammad and Hamza Akram are Pakistan's leading Qawwali singers. Qawwali takes the form of a series of thematically and formally linked verses, and is steeped in a tradition that can be traced back to the 13th Century.

On 'Lovers' Eyes (Mohe Pi Ki Najariya)' they sing of cosmic love, and the four eyes of the lovers becoming one. Set to Lazarus and Ford's incendiary techno production, the result has been causing chaos on the dancefloor. Early tastemaker reactions has seen everyone from Skrillex to the BBC Asian Network, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs to Carl Craig chiming their approval, and with Pete Tong awarding 'Lovers' Eyes' Essential New Tune on Radio 1, this has all the hallmarks of being one of those wonderful electronic music curveballs that confuses and delights in equal measure.

Canadian riviera artists Elka (ESB) and D.Tiffany (DJ Zozi) team up for a special edition split. Solid groove Detroit schooled house cuts meet sprawling dubby experiments. A colourful melange on offer for the heads.

Fast-rising Rebel queen Francesca Lombardo is back on Crosstown with her seductive new single 'What To Do' featuring remixes from Infinity Ink, Matrixxman and a Luca Cazal Dub. Showcasing Francesca's undeniable raw talent and pure, fluid vocal flair, 'What To Do' is another example of the producer's sublime song composition in an electronic framework. The sultry mood evoked by Francesca's voice wraps around the infectious melody as spooky ethereal tones rise and fall with the subtly driving groove. Infinity Ink strip down the elements with mechanical precision, injecting some darker bass and a more solid kick. Matrixxman revels in the twilight zone and delivers an alternative trippy tapestry of jagged synth stabs and melodic bleeps with only waves of the vocal. Luca Cazal's Dub is a perfect late night builder with added sonic textures.

Francesca Lombardo has rapidly become one exceptionally in-demand lady on the scene. Fully inaugurated into the Rebels camp, the Italian London based DJ/producer and classically trained vocalist released her first two highly acclaimed 'Changes' and 'Eyes Of Nature' EPs on Crosstown Rebels and is gearing up for a debut album release on the label next year plus a much coveted appearance on the Rebel Heart stage at Burning Man 2013. Francesca also recently debuted in the Boiler Room with a magical live set, coming soon.

Infinity Ink is London/Ibiza based duo Ali Love and Luca C (the latter of which delivers the dub for this package). Infinity Ink have been taking over dancefloors and the air waves under various guises, delivering last year's summer anthem 'Infinity' on Crosstown Rebels and also 'Benediction' and 'Reverse Skydiving' as part of super house group Hot Natured.

Charles McCloud Duff aka Matrixxman is purportedly a man trapped in a realm of unending 3D avatars roaming lost amongst dystopian digital wastelands. Matrixxman's debut EP 'The XX Files' received critical acclaim from Pitchfork, The Fader, Spin and Fact Magazine while garnering support from the likes of Damian Lazarus, Jeff Mills, Josh Wink, Boris of Ostgut Ton, Trevino and Dubfire. His own imprint Soo Wavey is a purveyor of brutally futuristic interpretations of classic WBMX era Chicago house and Detroit techno.

Psychic Decolonization delivers four clairvoyant tracks for those who are willing to unravel them, don't expect a happy end though. The first release of Lux Rec this year comes from the infamous enfant terrible, synthesizers maker, known for his obscure statements, Gavin Russom. The man needs no further introduction, he's quite a presence, although a ghostly one. As in those urban myths his music reflects all that is haunting, secretive, unspoken.

James Barnsley makes a return to his Vessel Records imprint with two rhythmic numbers joined by Laura Jones and Nightdrivers on remix duties. Entering its fourth release, Vessel Records has seen a healthy launch with DJ Honesty, DJ W!ld and label founder James Barnsley kick-starting the discography. Cutting his teeth at Basics, where he spun records alongside the likes of Chez Damier, Delano Smith and Josh Wink, Barnsley has long since built a reputation as a respectable name within the DJ booth but it's his appearances on Get Physical, murmur and Overall Music that have placed him on the map as a reputable producer.
Amass with numerous percussive elements; For The Music is a groove-led cut with an echoing vocal sample and trippy synths. On the other hand, Black Ice implements cavernous kicks whilst mesmerising whirrs and ominous effects operate throughout.
Leftroom and Visionquest's Laura Jones then delivers a rendition of For The Music geared for the peak time before Italian duo Nightdrivers, known for material on Holic Trax and Claap, provide a smooth and mesmerising reimagining of Black Ice.

Now the Malmo-based producer and DJ readies a three track techno / house EP on HMWL's vinyl sublabel Heartbreak Records. On A-side alongside Water Cave Josefine offers a peak hour techno weapon called Sensus. On B-side we find the smooth melodic Volcanics at 118 BPM while fellow swede Martinez deconstructs Sensus into a jazzy, mellow piece of minmal tech.
