After an incredible summer that saw the Diynamic label release more big hits from boss Solomun and hot talents Adriatique, as well as hold down their fantastic outdoor parties in Ibiza, the Hamburg house stable is unleashing a brand new series of four Various Artists Eps called 'Four To The Floor' - Four EPs with four tracks each, focussing on the dancefloor. The names included along the way are largely exciting new producers who are being welcomed into the label fold for the first time and each of the four new EPs will be released roughly two weeks apart, starting November 10th. The producers hail from all over the world including France, India, Switzerland, Israel and many more places besides. This, then, is something of the start of a new era for the ever-evolving Diynamic label and showcases their skills at unearthing the next big things. EP1 features Night Talk, Roberto Calzetta & Twin Soul, Rafael Cerato and esteble. Up first is Swiss producer Night Talk with 'Mind Games'. The track is a rich and colourful tech offering with a killer bass stab and great synth lines. It has been an inherent part of Solomun's sets since early spring and is finally being released. Then comes the duo of Roberto Calzetta & Twin Soul, two young ambitious guys from the south of the Netherlands that have been working together since 2008. Their magically melodic track 'Bliss' is a mid tempo deep house affair with organic percussion, lush synths and lazy and romantic vibes a plenty, which made Solomun's crowd ecstatic when played on Ibiza Next is French DJ and producer and Nurvous, Toolroom and Cuff associate Rafael Cerato who serves up 'Constellation'. In 1981 Lee Michaels founded the Hot Mix 5, a DJ team originating from Chicago consisting of Mickey 'Mixin' Oliver, Farley 'Jackmaster Funk', Ralphi 'Rockin' Rosario, Kenny 'Jammin' Jason and Scott 'Smokin' Silz.

The Chicago House Music scene exploded as the Hot Mix 5 show and BMX became the No.1 Radio show in Chicago by airing a new sound called house. Collectively with their unique turntable skills and radio persona a genre emerged. These guys broke nearly every Chicago House record we know today. From this show the first true superstar DJs emerged and are credited with turning Chicago and the rest of the world onto this new sound.

The individuals featured here are pivotal in laying the foundations for the domination of house music around the world today.

They went onto launch Hot Mix 5 records, a stunning label with a dazzling roster of artists releasing worldwide hit after hit, that have stood the test of time.Thelabel will see its catalogue released on London's Midnight Riot, featuring tracks, remixes, edits and collaborations with the likes of Larry Heard, DJ Pierre, Ashley Beedle, Ron Basejam, Severino, Pete Herbert, Rayko, Yam Who, Kiko Navarro, Leo Zero, Fingerman, 80's Child and Jaegerossa.

The city of Chicago recognised the Hot Mix 5's contribution to the creation of house music and honoured them by presenting each member with an individual street named after them and in addition a street called 'Hot Mix 5 Way'.

Vercetti Technicolor and Antoni Maiovvi join the Vivod fold for this last release in their series of limited screen prints. Conveniently timed for Halloween, the two horror artists who co run the impressive Giallo Disco imprint don their skills to Ali Renault's label, doing cover versions of some known film scores with an additional original track from each for good measure. The result is an impressive horror disco record all round. Don't sleep on this as they will go fast! 175 copies for the world.

Happy to welcome Le Loup ( Hold Youth, Half Baked, Concrete music) in the aeternum music family, still young and already many releases on known and respected labels. He delivers here two tracks full of grooves
in a housy touch that he knows well. While on the B side we are pround to have a remixer no less than Baby Ford ( Perlon, Trelik) which delivers a magical remix to close this EP in a perfect way.

Debut album from Nonkeen, a new project featuring Nils Frahm
Nils Frahm and Gmeiner attended the same school in Hamburg. A mutual interest in sound recording brought them together and they began producing their own radio show which featured sounds from school, the voices of their teachers and recordings of their own instruments, all recorded on tape machines for kids.

In 1989, East German schoolboy Sebastian Singwald spent 2 weeks at their school. Frahm and Gmeiner bonded with him instantly. Their friendship grew from there.

After the Berlin Wall came down, Gmeiner and Frahm were eager to visit Singwald to play as a band. They performed their original material on fairgrounds in Pl nterwald over the summer holidays. In the summer of 1997, when all 3 members had turned 15, a disaster would halt their musical careers and end their collaboration. A performance was cut short when the chained seats of a roundabout broke off and 2 of its passengers smashed into the stage.

One victim landed feet first in the bass drum, another crashed into Singwalds bass amp. As the injured were hauled into an ambulance, all 3 left their broken instruments behind, swore off music collectively and went their separate ways.

Well into their 20s however all agreed that they would begin to play music together once again. Slowly and cautiously they began to play music again and after 5 years an album from Nonkeen was ready for the world to hear.

From France comes Fabrizio Rat with a 4-track EP constructed entirely from acoustic piano and drum machine. Mr. Rat's unique sound design blew our ears away, particularly at a time when so much techno is more reliant on following a blueprint rather than trying to push the frontiers of what is possible, which to us was always the true raison d'être of techno. Here's a little more info about Fabrizio - I'm a Pianist, composer and producer crossing musical genres, from techno to contemporary music, improvised music to electronica.I developed a personal sonic world on the acoustic piano transforming it into a synthesizer and a groove machine with DIY techniques and objects.

The highly anticipated follow up to his 2015 debut EP, ARC, Kamera returns to continue his journey on Phantasy with four diverse new tracks that serve to expand his visionary take on modern electronica. Conceived during a series of gruelling training sessions while cycling Mont Ventoux, the internationally infamous French mountain otherwise known as 'The Beast of Provence', Ventoux captures Kamera's vision in it's most intriguing and singular form so far.

Opening the EP, Consignia begins as a deceptively simple yet infectious drum track, before descending suddenly and mercilessly into a rabbit hole of industrialised techno. A raucous yet precision built tool perfect for the most submissive club environments, it refuses to adjust its ceaseless energy as it continues to unfold into euphoria.

Complimenting such an uncompromising introduction, the more playful title track, Ventoux, radiates a neon tinged sound that will doubtlessly chime with admirers of high concept electronica from Sheffield to Detroit. Complex and impressive synth work undulates throughout to create a wistful and utopian atmosphere, one that suddenly vanishes just as it begins to crystalize.

In much less dreamy fashion, MFI5 is a masterfully frenzied passage of dancefloor darkness. Helpless acid modulations and chaotic samples are ceaselessly manipulated around two powerful breakdowns; one offering some respite, eventually concluding with another that sees the track collapse under the weight of it's own power.

Concluding the EP, Voodoo Canape is stripped of rhythm, and what begins as an understated drone reminiscent of the likes of Tim Hecker, slowly unfolds into a triumphant and otherworldly crescendo, gradually and gently dissipating into an ambient wavelength that could happily loop ad infinitum.

Melding both the cerebral and the physical with ease, Kamera only continues to perfect an unpredictable sound that's both refreshingly futurist and yet completely timeless.

Latest addition to the Tardis Records family is non other than quintessential Swedish techno veteran Jesper Dahlbäck: The man who has arguably had his fi nest club moments under his The Persuader moniker. An ode to the fl oral beauty of his nordic homeland, the three cuts of the - Vårblommor EP tread his much beloved, hypnotic path between techno and house. It's the subtle quirkiness and authentic grit that makes these productions stand out from the vast uniformity of dubby club tracks. Opener - Vitsippa is a particularly inviting number - a grand opus with irresistible drive and intermittent crackly vocals: That rare case of a dancefl oor healer. On the fl ip, - Blåklocka is more laid-back, a reminisence of the persuaders early svek production style with a deep sub-bass, ambient textures and fl uttering melodies fuse into a deep, majestic groove. Driven by a positively forward-marching snare drum, - Snödroppar fuses vivacious synths to delayed patterns, creating yet another track awash in a kind of sentimental lucidity. Endlessly looping through the night, these three jewels will make their way into the hearts and crates of the discerning DJ.

Fader Ranger - the amalgamation of Chicago's Nick Maurer and London's Neville
Attree - are set for exceptional things in 2014. With their debut album coming in the
Autumn on hfn music, the duo have been honing their dynamic, affecting sound, ready
for a full-scale assault on the senses.
Following their debut single ‚Be On The Lookout' on hfn music, the impressive remix
package is now released on hafendisko, the realigned subsidiary for the more club-oriented
releases and mixes.
First up is Berlin's techno gentleman Ed Davenport, who delivers a signature slice of
brooding Berghain-esque techno goodness, with plenty of grit and menace thrown in.
Avant-garde dance-floor pioneer LOPAZZ joins up with Hawaii-based Willis Haltom
to rework the track in a completely different direction -a spacey, drifting slow burn into
the cosmos. Their work comes in two versions - a vocal and dub, while Vincenzo also
drops a proto-house/electro rework that highlights Faded Ranger's new wave leanings.
Also included is the boys' Faded Rethink remix from the original release - their
clubby version that has been doing serious damage to dance-floors in the know for a
while now.

After the glorious debut 'We Go Straight Ahead EP' for Luv Shack last summer, a welcome return for LeSale with his 'LeSexe / Symphony' release.Thumping drums and throbbing bass await prerequisite footwear in 'LeSexe'. And you better have a pair of some serious leather that can withstand a night heavy shuffling as LeSale gets his Boogie Boots and swagger on. Original gets tight and mighty with a groove that just demand you stomp up a floor or two in search of the booty. Aroused and alluring vocals dampen all the right places and also set up for a long night of
passion. The guy knows how to sex you up for sure! Lee Stevens & Domino play round and go a little deeper into the night with their
moodier reworking of 'LeSexe'. A touch more sensual and amorous, proper House style, the guys also deliver some fine musical luv potion.
Flip side starts with original slice of 'Symphony', which is exactly what it says on the tin. Epic journey of classy production and arrangement, a symphony of emotion and feeling! Intellectual ear candy and elaborate with the elements, just one of those tracks you rather did not end. Again, LeSale has the heavy foot with the kick and demands you shift from the bar area promptly. It's another get down track as LeSale smears his thick and funky fingers and thumbs all over the knobs in his quest to wear you out physically. You just have to dance!Finally, comrades Simonlebon & Jakobin on remix duty come good with a blissful rendition of 'Symphony'. Less carnal, more erotic and seductive, and definitely more soulful in the tone! Another class act! As has been the case for the previous eight outings for Luv Shack, the guys bring something for everyone. The success of the label has been that too. Expanding a sound just a little bit further. It's not just about making music, it's about making music that people want to dance to, and then adding a few more people to that list with emotive mixes and some imagination. At a young age still influenced by U.S. HipHop stars such as N.W.A., Public Enemy or Run DMC, the love to electronic music has also been growing over the years. Sebastian Phillip has since appeared in numerous prestigious clubs in the country and also at the Berlin Loveparade. Since his studio debut in 2009, much has developed. Most notably his sound, which he now wants to finally present to the crowds - with the help of the 'People In The Club EP'.

Of course with this title, we all expect club music here and this also comes into effect immediately - pumping, driving and always addressed with a focus on the groove. Ben Anders puts more emphasis on melody and harmony passages in his remix, but not working besides the main theme. In addition, Sebastian offers 'Love' as well, a track with tribal influences and a great idea of the main motif. To round it up, the remix of Lorraine continues right there.

His successful combination of Techno, House, Minimal and Tech-House reflects a diverse range of sounds. It's a great feeling to dance and celebrate to Sebastian's music - especially in the club - and exactly for those people there 'People In The Club' has been produced.

I'm a Cliché is proud to present a self-titled mini-LP by Stiletti-Ana aka Ilari Larjosto, the legend of Helsinki's underground. 

What are the man's credentials, you ask Well, Larjosto is a drummer, producer, session musician for multiple bands and a mixing, mastering and recording engineer for countless projects. He's dedicated his whole life to music making and sound engineering in its all forms. Truly an omnipresent figure in the Helsinki underground, he's got his finger on pretty much every button in the world of Scandinavian electronic music while he sits in the control room of his dungeon studio on a fortified island off the Finnish capital's coast.

The man's involved in many popular projects such as K-X-P, Tähtiportti, DJ Candle in The Wind, Jimi Tenor, Randy Barracuda, and acclaimed band JESSE.

He's tasked renowned media artist Harri Larjosto (who by pure coincidence happens to be his father) to direct the video for Universe Carrier, the opening track on the mini-LP.

Gelert takes a journey from Crib Y Ddysgyl over to Crib Goch, the third highest peak of the 3000's.

London-based artist Jonny cade has already enjoyed solid recognition for his releases on the likes of 2020 Vision and Morris Audio. This time round, he raises his game once again for Music Is Love's 10th release, dishing up a serious dose of house goodness aimed squarely at the dance floor.

Get On My kicks off proceedings with hurrying drums that shuffle over a rumbling bassline until 90s inflicted keys quicken and build the tempo over the course of the track. The ticking hi-hats, snares and hand claps are woven intricately over the shifting key stabs, while a faint female vocal teases and whirls throughout.

Confused Keys slows the tempo slightly, with a more defined bassline paving out against the groove laden percussion sequences and distorted vocal sample. Elasticated keys ricochet off each other until a melodic interchange of pads submerse at the break, slicing the elements of the beat and taking it closer to peak-time.

Nottingham's Nail adds resounding deepness with his mix of Get On My. Shuddering key pads flourish to form the fore of the track, bouncing off the percussive loops that rhythmically swing out over faint synths to add a true deep breadth to his remix .

Give it All Up finishes off the 4 track EP the way it started: swift pace, swaggering 90's inspired house. A flurry of claps and snares are matched by groove-heavy drums and a vocal sample that upends the overall hands-in-the-air mood of the EP. Fomenting his own melodic sound that is part house, part garage, Cades material is coherently woven together, without ever being cast free from an underlying rhythmic house groove throughout.

In 1997 Tim Jackiw emerged on the scene with his very first release on the short-lived Aussie imprint, Offworld Records. The release was limited to 500 copies and went virtually unnoticed. A few music journalists at the time of the release dubbed it as one of the greatest electronic records to come out of Australia. The A-side begins with a long deep technosoul journey. The B-side continues with more recombinant classic Detroit and Chicago sounds of the golden era. Recondite is proud to re-issue this long lost introduction to Tim's music with new sounds to come in the near future!

Both members have quite a unique story, with far reaching credentials. ARGY seized the spotlight with the massive 2005 hit 'Love Dose', one of the songs that defined the whole minimal house trend of the time. After remixing acts like Kerri Chandler, Timo Mass and Agoria and releasing music on such respected dance labels as Caden- za, Cocoon, Versatile and Permanent Vacation (to name but a few), the prolific Producer/DJ became one of the most prominent figures helping to lead the latest house music revival with his album, Fundamentals.

Although this first single focuses more on dancefloor orientated songs, Dominonation, the full length album highlights the duo's more elaborate song-writing abilities, fusing contemporary underground genres with radio friendly hooks, serving up tinges of gothic darkness with a smattering of gritty, lo-fi sensibilities. The full Dominonation album experience is planned for release later this Autumn, accompanied by a live band tour which will disclose a completely new approach on how to throw an emotionally fueled modern rave.

Brendon Moeller returns to Third Ear after some years, following up his lauded Jazz Junk Safari trilogy of eps with 4 peak time bombs. All 4 tracks blow up the dance floor. Brendon Moeller known for his sound design, has taken his sonics to extremes on all four tracks, pushing, twisting and teasing frequencies to the limit. The bass on all tracks is phenomenal. It's just as well that a master engineer like Pole has mastered these tracks, maxing out the sound yet protecting the sound systems that these bombs will be played on. Super fun.

Younger generation of established talents from Slovenia is standing, beyond
quality sound and great ideas of today's clubbing scene...Ales Furlan aka. F.Sonik is one
of them. In the swirl of nightlife he has been increasing attention on himself, especially
with quality and distinctive tech-house sound. He is developing and outstanding his
talent through his own music stages, which led him to the closest genre where he fits in
the best way. Although he stresses out that he doesn't want to be defined under a
specific genre, because he wants to offer his best music selection, so that the audience
will enjoy through the whole evening. He still remains faithful to the underground
clubbing scene, which for many clubbers still remains the only genuine and "valid" one.
Living in a hip-hop environment, his passion for graf is very quickly replaced by
that of Djing. When he turns fifteen, he decides to invest in the appropriate material to
be able to start «playing vinyls»In the nineties, attracted by the phenomenon of raves
and the eletro movement, he gets influenced by Techno, Trance and Hard Tech. While
going to house parties in his area, he gradually starts to get a few bookings to carry out
in front of a public his music, the Tech-House. Nowadays, David Durango is as much a DJ
as a sound producer, is getting known and pursues his childhood dreams.
Sandru stems from a family of artists, plays various instruments and loves to
workout a tricky beat programming in combination with well thought out arrangements.
he is a true artist and is very much detached from any scene or hyped music... so
everything he does is accomplished very much as a result of this. his music has a jazzy
texture, with a bit of a cut up aesthetic...

As the world catches on to the music and live performances of Klartraum duo Nadja Lind & Helmut Ebritsch, the pair look to the release of their deep yet wonderfully eclectic second album 'Secret moon'...

Berlin based Nadja Lind & Helmut Ebritsch have been working together for over five years now, but it is in the last twelve months that the duo's Klartraum project has really come to prominence. Both Nadja & Helmut have a solid musical history recording for the likes of Darkroom Dubs, Soma & Morris Audio yet it is through their shared musical output that they have really captured the imagination, producing deep and moving electronic music that fuses elements of techno, house and electronica.

Out of the studio the duo have taken their sound on the road, performing as Klartraum live at London's Fabric, the infamous Ukrainian festival Kazantip and Goa's renowned Shanti club to rave reviews and rapturous response. In the coming months they will also be appearing at dates in Australia and across Europe.

'Secret Moon' is a rich and diverse collection of tracks that reflect Klartraum's journey since the release of their debut LP, 'Evolution' in 2011. From the opening atmospheric ambient recording of 'Berlin Intro' it's clear that this is not to be a straight-laced 'club' album but rather a body of work that ebbs and flows through styles and sounds with little regard for genre. Downtempo cuts such as the breakbeat based 'Something Wrong' or the off kilter 'Universe' add a depth and variety to the mix yet Klartraum's production skill and musical sensibilities work to make the album work as a whole. There is a deep hypnotizing feel to this whole album, keeping you locked into the experience as the album progresses. Tracks such as the epic 'Secret Moon' and the sublime 'Sell Your Soul' have an almost cinematic feel to them; drawn out, spacious and mesmerizing. Klartraum's 2011 debut was a real achievement but 'Secret Moon' takes things to the next level with a strength and energy that is tempered with an audible maturity of production.

Nadja Lind & Helmut Ebritsch have their own way of creating music, making much of both their spiritual leanings and their hands of approach to 'jamming' out tracks live. Whatever it is that drives them it certainly works, for Klartraum are rapidly becoming an act that cannot ignored, making great music and taking it to the world via their passionate live performance.
