House Vinyl New Releases - News

Diynamic are delighted to present a brand new EP from long standing family member and key label player H.O.S.H.. After a great summer playing Diynamic events in Ibiza as well as many other gigs around Europe, he is now back to prove his production chops are some of the finest in the game.

This new Cilantrophy EP, which comes a year after his well received Forever Young series of EPs and is his first outing in 2015, kicks off with - Cilantro'. This one is a deep and bubbly tech house number with scurrying drums and hi-hats as well as surging synths, wavy chords and plenty of twinkling melody that really shines bright.
- Camino' then gets more late night and tripped out, with rich harmonies and melodies raining down on a hip swinging kick-clap combo. It's a colourful, neon tune that bristles with great detail and is sure to make for magical moments on the dancefloor. Lastly, - Cambia' is an epic cut with sweeping synths married to rubbery, slowly building beats. There is a cosmic, jungle-like atmosphere to this one with its rattling percussive patterns, cooing bird sounds and groaning synths all making for absorbing listening. Once again here H.O.S.H. proves he is at the heart of Diynamic's ever evolving, always colourful tech house sound.

With the bouq family getting bigger and bigger it's now the time to start the new sublabel called 'bouq.sub'. The first release is by Larisse Van Doorn from Berlin with 4 amazing clubtracks full of energy and charme. Being a real tooth fairy she even bewitched her husband Horatio to help and contribute at the title track. Now up to you to decide, play and support our new label and artists.

Luca D' Arle brings his fresh sound to newest I Records release. Throughout the past few years Luca has developed some serious deep house driving out a fresh scene in southern Italy. He has now spread his wings to Berlin and is set to bring his version of deep to the nu-school of house heads.

In this third I Records vinyl release he jumps forward with his brand new unreleased track "Sunset", a definitive treat for the clubs for the summer 2013 season. In addition on the B side he delivers a special unreleased version of his chart topping track "YOU".

Pushing this even release further are remixes by the legendary Alex Celler (Moon Harbour & Cecille) and Nivek Tsoy (A/K/A Kevin Yost).

LOOSE RECORDS is proud to introduce RETROSPECTIVE - a celebration of our first thirty releases by Europe's top, underground techno artists. Coming from a broad berth of influence, RETROSPECTIVE represents the past, present, and future of European techno. Our Artists take electronic music to a new level with orchestral experimentation and their fusion of cross-genre.

136° Club - known as a established club in Hamburg's redlight district, is now launching a new music label: 136° Recordings. A symbiosis of club and music is about to begin.
Their first release named "Sinus EP" comes along with strong and arms wide open sounds. Frederick Alonso, Kevin Over or Neal Porter are just some of the names to be mentioned who add their great sound to this first EP. Special focus on Tapesh and his great Remix of Muovo's track called "Clap Your Hands". Grooving, pumping and drivining Deep and Tech House will be characteristic for the first release. A great album in all it's facets - it makes you looking forward to what's coming up next. Its all about their love for 4/4 grooves.

BOBBY BOOMERANG 'UNCHARTED WATERS' (CUTTERS026) Uncharted Waters is the debut release for antipodean wanderer, Bobby Boomerang, who is more commonly known in his other life as Cut Copy frontman Dan Whitford.
Whitford has long held a fondness for the deeper reaches of dance music, having DJed an ecclectic mixture of house and disco and in Melbourne clubs some years before keyboards and guitars cross pollinated to bring Cut Copy into existence. And in some ways his first solo release is a musical homecoming. On 'Uncharted Waters' we find this Boomerang returning to it's place of origin to explore his reinterpretations of balearic house and techno, generated by experiments with his menagerie of vintage drum machines, samplers and keyboards.
'Where Am I' opens with the tranquil feel of a vacant mediterranean shoreline, shaped by glassy synthesizers and distant vocals, before the mood turns, awakening the dance floor with towering jungle drums, acid blips and techno percussion. On the flipside is the title track 'Uncharted Waters', whose skittering woodblock percussion and deep analog sub bass sound leans towards the more melodic productions of Caribou and Four tet.
Uncharted waters is the first of a series of releases for Bobby Boomerang, as this explorer embarks on his next musical journey.

The Manchester based Music With Content imprint returns this April, with a four track EP from Greek producer Sek.

Music With Content launched in 2012 with a collaborative release from Content resident, Eddie Leader, teaming up with Agnes and Iron Curtis, followed by a three tracker from Deymare, backed with a Deep Space Orchestra mix, an indication of the sheer quality coming from the label from the very beginning. Here it shakes things up a little with a release from a contemporary house producer, Sek, notably known for his work on OFF, Apparel Music and Deep Series. Sek aka Dimitris Kesses, delivers heady house grooves infused with warmth and soul.

The release opens with title track 'Brain Boogerz' here, kicking things off with a raw, shuffled rhythm, subtle resonant, acidic licks and retro, chorused pads. Kesses rides out the punchy groove out for the duration of the cut while the latter half introduces a classic deep-house chord progression, adding to the musicality, this is certainly a tasteful introduction to the EP. Up next is 'Leadership Skills', a bubbling deep number, employing sampled Rhodes hooks, fluttering static hits and swinging snares as its driving force. Sek plays on subtle variations to the groove and intermittent automation touches to create a flourishing dynamism, also throwing in a hi-string and soft ride cymbals for good measure.

Rolling over to the B-Side, 'Comphort' is offered up, a heavily delayed electronic hook runs for its five and half minute duration, while an amalgamation of vocal licks and a tom-driven bass-line brilliantly meanders around the weighty groove. To close the release Sek turns in 'Typerventilating', a perfect choice to wind down the release, the track slowly blooms for several minutes in an ethereal pad-driven state, before its focal point introduces sax and piano samples, giving off an organic, enticing vibe. Sek intelligently manipulates each element precipitously, as heard on the rest of the release, proving him self and his productions skills, a force to be reckoned with.

Finally Repressed!

Limited Picture Vinyl Pressing!
Stephan Bodzin and Marc Romboy are very good friends. And this is maybe the main reason why they made a couple of tracks together which have become milestones of the discography of Systematic Recordings.

You cannot really plan these things, so let´s call it coincidence that both of them returned to the studio together after a break of four long years. And exactly at the point of time when the EP is finalized Systematic turns #100 when it comes to the catalogue numbers.

So let´s celebrate their new output with this special picture disc!

After a short period of contemplation ESHU Records is back with fresh beats from their kindred spirits: SYS, they return to their native record label with another quality release from Nijmegen NL. Analog, deep and distorted cuts to be found in this package, warehouse and space material delivered on 180 gram vinyl!

Tyler Friedman returns to Kontra-Musik with a series of immersive wax maelstroms, adorned with the mind-melting artwork of Rafaela Drazic. Every track on CCC: BB: BBB: JJ is a controlled experiment in lysergic dance music; an examination of how far you can warp the constitutive elements of techno without loosing it's essential spine. The result is four evolutionary techno suites full of movement and life that make your brain move just as vigorously as your body. As the personal work of a composer creating soundtracks for artist projects - most notably as a long-term collaborator of The Otolith Group, the filmmaker collective spearheaded by pioneering Afrofuturist theorist Kodwo Eshun - CCC: BB: BBB: JJ sums up everything Kontra-Musik is about: dancefloor celebrations challenging the boundaries of expectation and genre.

Weisses 180g Vinyl.

Rising British artist Alexis Raphael has come a long way over the past few years since initially stepping onto the scene via Jamie's Jones Hot Creations in 2011, since then Raphael's name has graced the catalogue of Leftroom, Culprit, Lower East, Moda Black and of course MadTech where he returns to here. With such an impressive list of affiliations and an already noteworthy back catalogue under his belt, Alexis is undoubtedly a driving force in the world of contemporary house music out of the UK.

Alexis's prevalence is displayed throughout the Chicken EP as he ebbs and flows through weighty low slung grooves, bumpy bass hooks and infectious vocal loops with title cut Chicken and the mesmerising Phantom. On the flip side of the package the title track gets two reworks, firstly from Cocoon Recordings artist and Amnesia Ibiza resident Mar-T, who reworks the track into a stripped back number with sweeping atmospherics, growling bass tones and bubbling melodies. Portugal's Dave Nash then rounds off the package with his take on 'Chicken', delivering a smooth and hypnotic interpretation fuelled by fluttering pad lines, snaking sub drones and evolving stab sequences.

We're pleased to present with - black hole' by meta.83 the work of a consequent defender of the art of analogue production. The soon available track 'Black Hole' by the Liebe*Detail Co-Founder jinxed us from the very first moment and it was clear to us, that we'd like to add a number of top-class remixes beside the original.
For this we were able to win no one else then 'the' Tobias and Borrowed Identity (after his recent release on Pastamusik 'Crack in the Box EP'). The powerful acid bassline in the original version as well as in the Gravity Version creates from the very first moment a hypnotic undertow which seems to keep increasing throughout the track. It's masterfully celebrated how to generate effective hits by carefully chosen elements and canny used effects.Tobias also devote the focus in his interpretation on the acid aspect - but with more dynamics and with a higher beat frequency which will make every Techno-DJ's heart beat faster. When carefully set tones are fading in and out this version gets a brilliant final touch. The remix of Borrowed Identity sounds in it's structure more dirty and rough and though at the same time very fragile. A wonderful gem in pure culture drifting towards a black hole ..... perfect.

We present to you the first vinyl record from the minim.all label. This is a work by a creative team from Russia, consisting of the owner of the 'minim.all' label - Mikhail Kobzar a.k.a. Plastic Sound and his wife Nastia.
My wife's and my own ideas of people have always been filled with humor. After all, it's impossible not to smile while observing the causes which make people act in a certain way.
We decided to describe it with the help of words and sounds. Music sets the mood, words disclose the meaning.
A short story, a musical parable is reflected in the heart, pleases the ear with harmonious, positively enigmatic sound.
Join us, enjoy, absorb.

The UFO Station steered by Knutsson/Berg travels further into unknown territory with their third release, a solo EP from Hans Berg, inspired by the idea of whales communicating through galaxies and outer space oceans, vast underwater landscapes in foreign worlds.
On Whales EP we hear Bergs trademark quirky melodies over lush pads and slamming drums, landing somewhere between Detroit techno and Scandinavian melancholy.

"WARRIORS" includes a strong message to protest against a nuclear power plant and any form of nuclear use, and portraits "Hopi's prophecy" with full and official permission from Hopi, native american. Hopi means "people full of peace" and their approach to life is very simple.

The third and last twelve inch of the 'Still Living In Slavery Remixes' series. Please remember: The last twelve inch came in a neat sleeve that easily stores all three records in it. The first side contains Kuniyuki Takashi's remix of ' Dounougnan Magni'. He enriches the track with lively percussion and softens the somewhat sparse and minimalistic style of the original. A perfect backing for Hamed Sosso's story about live, death and the pursuit of happiness. The flipside contains the last chapter of the epic 'Enchained Tribe'. A deep glowing track with a haunting vocal and progressing drums that literally break free in the middle. Kuniyuki Takashi's flute provides additional athmosphere and keeps the track moving into a lush (and almost beatless) outro. Next is 'Break Your Chains And Return To Botswana'. Eight and a half minute of slow paced african percussion - and an accompanying chant that fades in and out of the mix. It's all about beats, beats, beats - Mr Raoul K's talent in arrangement and beat programming is very much on display and delivers a real groover without any bassline, Makes you shake your... whatever you want to shake. Enjoy.
