Oriental EP sees the young Ukrainian producer go full-on-force with two captivating originals that meander between twisted drum arrangements and hefty basslines, leaving the necessary space for intriguing and melodic sounds to rise freely. On the remix duties, the label welcomes Romanian spearhead Arapu who delivers a massive "hands-up heads-down" reinterpretation of "Orient", turning the original into a basement destroyer.

Judging by the massive success of THE ORB's latest longplayer MOONBUILDING 2703 AD (KOMPAKT 330 CD 124) with critics and fans alike, we're not the only ones who can't get enough of the trippy electronica from pioneers Alex Paterson and Thomas Fehlmann which is why we were truly thrilled to welcome the duo on the 2016 instalment of our POP AMBIENT compilation series with the joyously meandering cut ALPINE DAWN. However, this was only one piece of a psychedelic puzzle, with the full ALPINE trilogy now getting the attention it deserves. Spiritually and texturally akin to ALPINE DAWN, ALPINE MORNING starts off with actual cowbells and looping synth pads, changing lanes several times and introducing a relaxed downbeat flavor mid-track. This serves as an ideal primer for centerpiece ALPINE EVENING, which comes comfortably grounded in a heavy-duty rhythm section reminiscent of classic Kompakt stomp.

'Those Series' born from the unconditional love for the dance floor, the purpose of the label is to transport you with the right mix of forgotten notes and new generation sounds, the label show you the result of more than ten years of productions by these unknown artists. The release is based on two original tracks suitable for different moments of the set with the participation of Arapu, currently one of the most loved artists of the romanian music scene.

Third release on Steve Pickton’s co-owned Fencepiece record label features something special from the OTHER WORLD Studios archive - the first ever Stasis release from 1993. Three sublime examples of classic UK Techno from one of the true originators - Vanmannans Answer also features an early studio collaboration with fellow UK legend Nuron. Originally released on the tiny Time is Right label and now super expensive, these tracks have been remastered for 2020 from the original DAT.

In 2018, Innate unveiled its debut release - four varied slabs of deep electronic music from a mix of unsung heroes and underground stalwarts. The label's second release naturally treads a similar path, offering a trio of cuts that champion futurist electronic music - shot through with warmth, humanity and machine soul.

Heading up the A-side, Bristol veteran 'A Sagittariun' shines through with "Proof" - an altogether deeper affair than much of his forthright and intense output, with ghostly lead lines, melancholic electronics and spacey chords stretching out across a bustling groove: rich in hazy analogue bass and crunchy machine drums.

Side B is led by key Innate family member 'Gilbert'. "Polynoid" is another impressive outing with ear-catching riffs, acid lines and melodic movements rising and falling above a wonderfully retro-futurist, Chicago-influenced groove. Accompanied by "Our Love For Music" from Final Chapter boss and sometime Rawax contributor 'Sean Dixon'. Intergalactic tones combine the widescreen vision of Detroit's early pioneers with the jacking, sweat-drenched percussive intensity of Chicago's finest.

Our third release 'Untitled' emerges as a moody four tracker born in Matteo Luis' home studio. The title track is the driest start off there could be. It monotonously heads for the tracks climax in manner of a cyclone, a straight stomper that evolves its full strength within its last solution, surprising with an acidic and dubby face that makes you want to dive right into the dashing structure of its last minutes. 'Yucca' has those smooth chords in the back that are dramatically charged, sexy and slow. The whole tune seems nostalgic and thoughtful with its atmospheric dub elements. Something for the lovers. 'Impulse' is Matteo in full effect. Bouncy and moody at the same time, it captures the EP's dub influence perfectly. This song is a trip forcing you to seek for the harmonious redemption that finally appears within a late chord change. The track is remixed by one of our long time favourites - Benedikt Frey. His irresistible, murky style is retrievable in this work. The fully dynamic break-beat based jam finally frames the mystic vibes of the overall EP through its dark appeal. Every copy omes with a full cover artwork by Hermann Reimer.

Uruguayan producer Z@P releases on Binh’s Time Passages for their 18th release.

Modern radical changes have to be found inside the man-­-machine relationship and the chief Kill Ref debuts on his own label with a set of live recorded originals, and two studio remixes: human touch drives simplehardware automations: metal, fast rhythmic, blind acid synthesizers starring the title track Night Speaker, the distorted drummachines builton hars trippy synths paint original Sigh Notch and the original Lowering Sight. Developer gives an hypno bigroom remix to the unreleased track Cloudlike and Charlton re-­-invents Sight Notch offsetting its rhythms and delays.

Druzhba presents their 11th instalment with two killer tracks by the Peruvian duo Deaf Pillow. In addition, Vern & Peshka are on the remix duties providing their own interpretations of the originals.

Guy Gerber’s Rumors welcomes Italy’s Agents Of Time for an EP of delicately crafted dancefloor electronics in ‘Prince Of The Stars EP’ this March.

‘Mud Battles’ opens with muted and subdued tones, gently unravelling into a symphonic arrangement of analogue synthesis and 4/4 kick drums. ‘Rise To The Power’ picks up the pace with shuffling percussion and a series of melodic motifs before moving into an enticing extended breakdown.

On the flip, ‘Prince Of The Stars’ opens with fielding recordings alongside a skippy, broken beat, carrying the track through a sequence of emotive passages, a theme that continues with the final track on the 12”, ‘The King Of Our Days’

Alter Ego - Lycra' Luke Slater's Dinosaur Mix Roman Flügel and Jörn Elling Wuttke are very happy to present their first vinyl single on their own platform Alter Ego Recordings. In charge again of their entire back catalogue, under monikers like Acid Jesus, Sensorama and Alter Ego, they're starting to re-release all the classic albums sometimes accompanied by newly curated vinyl Ep's. The singles will feature unreleased material, forgotten classics and brand new remix-projects of favourite producers and friends in perfectly re-mastered 12- sound. The first vinyl release on Alter Ego Recordings presents a re-release of two Alter Ego classics remixed by Luke Slater in 1993 and 1994. For many people he is the epitome of hard and driving British electronica. His music, especially under his Planetary Assault System moniker, influenced just about everyone in techno over the last twenty years. Things kick off on the a-side on this record with a Basic Channel style sounddesign. The dubbed chords, moved by a full-bodied bassline and frequent cowbells featured in his Ortoe Circuit Remix' of Soulfree' are showing that Luke's more soulfull side is as good as his tough mode. The slamming Dinosaur Mix' was already in boxes of jocks like Sven Väth and Andrew Weatherall and shows Slater with the foot on the pedal. Cascades of flanged sounds drifting in and out of focus, while no-nonsense drums and percussion driving dance floors in frenzied submission.

Click Box from São Paulo is bringing his new record - Ogunhe with Symbiostic 036 to life. After his remix on MRDIE´s Silverline record we are more than happy to have him again for another collaboration. Ne.Hau is back on the scene with a brand new EP titled "Rock Bottom," available via Still Play Records. The release features 4 songs, each setting the bar higher in terms of creativity and vision. The title track, "Rock Bottom," immediately lures the listeners into the mood of this EP, going for a textural atmosphere and some edgy beats, channelling tech-house elements and more. "Hauling Ass" is a distinctive track, which is one of the highlights on this release, due to its minimalism and old-school textures. The warmth of the glitchy sonics in the background, as well as the warped vocal parts, create a unique listening experience, breaking the flow of this EP to perfection. "Woke A Late" is a quintessential tech-house jam. The song begins with a minimalistic beat, which consistently grows into a more developed sonic soundscape, with darker sounds and ominous effects adding to the listening experience. It almost sounds like pipes and bells being slammed in an underground cave, as the beat rages on for one of the most engaging and atmospheric bangers on this EP. Last, but definitely not least, there is even some room for a stellar remix curated by Michael Rosa. The time is now, the time is ARA: A brand new label from Daniel Kyo & Veryan, where presence is at the centre of everything.

Literally translating to ‘now’ in his native Valencian, ARA will map Daniel’s exploration between his own local roots and his personal connections and spiritual affinity with Japan. The journey starts right here with his own EP under his Core alias that first emerged on Hivern Discs last year.   

’15 Years’ acts as the consummate mission statement; a hypnotic rolling slice of mystic tech noir armed with a bulbous bottom end and trippy, existential voice over. Its groove and prominence is compounded by the killer remixes; Crayon don Mark Ambrose flips it into kinetic funky tech version with strong moments of paranoia and sonic freakery while rising Spanish dreamweaver Marc Piñol cracks the cosmic whip and extends the track into a much foggier, trippier affair.

The mission statement ends with full intent as Daniel returns to the Core of the matter for the finale ‘Kaizen’. A lavish, evocative voyage, powered by another one of Kyo’s signature immersive juggernaut grooves, once again the connection and ambition is clear: translating to ‘improvement’, ‘Kaizen’ surges with a sense of hope, uplift and exciting plans for the future. Progetto Tribale was born in 1992. The A1 track: "Behavior", immediately reached great success in clubs, as reported by the European house charts of the time. The project has continued for two more productions with UMM, to then change label and go on with D: Vision, until 1996, year of publication of the last production, volume 6. Today, 24 years later, Volume 7 was finally born under the partnership of Donato Dozzy, Pietro and Paolo Micioni. and released by Danza Tribale.

Still riding high on the support for his recent Circus collab with Ki Creighton, new UK talent Kydus immediately returns to the label with a brace of new tracks that have already become proven weapons in the sets of label Yousef and the mighty Carl Cox.

His latest double-header sees him turn out more fierce grooves and raw funk with a large helping of sun-fuelled piano for good measure. Free Spirit is captivating from the first drum to the last.
A rolling groove, almost house, almost techno... A poignant story told that surrounds the listener with uncompromising positive energy, a huge summer moment if there ever was one. Yousef has been nurturing the demo for almost six months, building it from a secret weapon to Circus anthem.
Cala el Verano see's Kydus share the load as he continues the house techno hybrid, yet with a lighter touch from the musicianship of Naples born Dj Dep.

Meet Hyenah, one of the main figures at Watergate Club. Being one of the main residents at our quickly growing Afro House focused RISE events, it was long overdue to see him land his debut EP on Watergate Records. Over the course of two originals and two reworks, Hyenah delivers a stellar package of percussion heavy, hypnotic and permanently growing cuts that will surely set any dance floor on fire in no time. Kicking things off, Hyenah joins forces with Pablo Fierro on 'Panoramica' . With an undeniably infectious percussive arrangement they are laying the groundwork for a climactic journey of dramatic musicality culminating in a crescendo of pure rapture. A stripped down version follows as Hyenah's 'Raw Beat Edit' keeps all the intensity of the original yet fixates on the main groove. 'The Golden Cage Of Yesterday' is up next and it's a wild ride of ups and downs where faint vocal chants appear in-between lush harmonics and delicate arpeggios resulting in an irresistible floor filler. Wrapping things up is Da Capo's remix of 'The Golden Cage Of Yesterday'. The Polokwane (SA) native weaves a wild venture, utilizing all of the original elements yet turns them into an intense, tension building foray campaign exhibiting the best that the new wave of African House music can possibly offer.

after a brief spell away from the label, releasing, Niko Maxen returns to his home ground with 2 originals and invites a couple of his favourite producers to join the party. NIko’s originals show off his stripped back low slung sound while Viceversa makes it a melodic affair. Vlad Arapasu rounds off the record with a darker interpretation.

Debut release from Costas on his new label. 3 ultradeep heady originals complimented by a slick hypno-roller remix by man-of-the-moment Cosmjn, fresh from his ‘Soul Things’ LP.

Deardrums is the new project of two established Italian artists: Bottin and Leo di Angilla. Deardrums deploy an arsenal of analog drum machines (mostly played by hand!) in what feels like a neo-tribal soundscape, drawing from pre-Hispanic elements (think Mayan and Aztec, not Latin) and pseudo-African rhythms. Nearly all sounds, including bass and leads, are crafted with skillfully tuned drum synthesizers. Just after listening to the first couple of songs the project was immediately signed to Brooklyn's 2MR, under the supervision of Italians Do It Better and Troubleman founder Mike Simonetti.

Coming hot on the heels of their debut release (a stunning record by ROAR), French imprint WORK IN PROGRESS returns here in triumphant and eclectic fashion courtesy of a record that does their reputation as serious party-starters no harm at all. Again featuring the talents of ROAR, this is a dizzyingly eclectic record that fans of smile-induing house and disco are sure to admire especially. The A1, the title track, ‘I Wanna This Record’ is a case in point. A really vibe-heavy disco-centric track that’s notable for its killer vocals and acid techno flashes, it’s an unlikely gem of the sort that will light up any floor. For their contribution, London duo The Willers Brothers turn the track on its head, opting instead for a more straight-up, 4/4 remix. Muscular and full of wonders, it’s without doubt a neat addition to the original’s charms.

The B side sees ROAR side up with Zolbaran courtesy of another cheeky and playful track, ‘Neukolln Baila La Bamba’ Starting toward pop sensibilities in a manner not dissimilar to Kompakt, this one pulls at the heartstrings in much the same way that Gui Boratto’s best work does. An emotive, pleasure-seeking cut that’s hard not to love, that’s for sure. Closing out the release is the no-less assured sounding strands of ‘Modulando El Piano’, which sees ROAR & Zolboran go toe-to-toe with Nico Forster for a sultry, piano-heavy gem that’s never boring and always unpredictable. Unconventional sounds that evoke memories of Perlon and Kompakt, WORK IN PROGRESS’ latest is a joy to behold.

The ep begins with “ Resurrect my feeling “, a dub vocal house jam that is slowly bulding to reach an intense peak with a mix of new and old synths and a funky groove that will make you sweat and dance all night long . In the meantime, listening is also an option because Zepherin knows his music and the sounds and the arrangements are just amazing to dive into.
“Escape” and “Escape dub 88” are the same track with different arrangements and sounds , one being obviously more dubby and moodier, the other more musical and sunnier.

It's been a year and a half since we last saw La Fleur grace Watergate Records with a proper EP, having been featured on remix duties for Sasha's 'Trigonometry' and her contribution 'Femton' to the celebrated 15 Years compilation.
So her brand new 'Outbreaker' EP arrives just in time to curb any impatience you might have waiting for her signature blend of house and techno aesthetics fused with modern production techniques that sets her apart from her peers.
La Fleur kicks things off with a wild heaving bass line and crisp, distinctive organic claps on 'Devils Sigh' setting the tone for the hypnotic groove that soon turns into a high energy burner of explosive bursts and an incredibly unique lead guaranteeing an absolute hit. It only gets better when one of the hottest acts on the scene, Tuff City Kids, lend their talents for a remix and turn 'Devils Sigh' into an analog heavy, future-retro banger that's as different as it is the same as the original, creating a perfect alternative to the already killer original.
Wrapping things up, La Fleur takes it a little slower and deeper with 'Outbreaker' by utilizing lush organic percussion and washed out guitars to build a tune that will be the anthem for early mornings, open airs and beach sessions alike. We couldn't be happier to have the first lady of Watergate back at the controls and we think you will agree.

Marc Scholl's second release on the mother imprint Cécille this time with a Bass Culture label head D'Julz remix. watch out for this

Two young talented guys from spain, giving their debut on Cécille. After releases and remixes on 8Bit, Amam, Brise and Kling Klong the two friends and partners Miguel Lobo and Ramiro Lopez spend three tracks on Cécille Numbers. "Timba" comes with a massive moving beat and a fancy interruption sound. The lady on "Coming hard" tells you her story and plans and "Letters from the other side" is catching you with an easy melody and groove like a chilling summer pre warmup heater... hope you like and PLAY NUMBERS !

Born and raised in São Marcos, the north side of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais - Brazil, Naiche started his career with a deep music research in the 90's. Skateboard, RAP, his punk rock band and all the events productions he was part of built what means his music nowadays. "Lavanderia" was a great part of his musical path, the collective space dedicated to music and art is where he started his musical journey as a producer, working with for 4 years producing concerts, parties and exhibitions with artists all around the world.

Beyond the music production, exist the @visualparanoia and @holotropico, acting as illustrator and other visuals, working together with artists and brands with a huge expression in Brazil scene.

After launching his music inside labels from Argentina, Romania and Brazil, he’s now releasing "Back on Track”, his first LP record that counts with huge influence from Detroit Classic Techno, UK garage and House Music.

The brazilero Villaça, still under the radar, is delivering versatile dancefloor dedicated original tracks where house, techno and breaks are perfectly shuffling together. In the remix duty, we have the rising star Mehdi M, who delivers a mystical journey through his breaky remix of the archivarius original track.

The Georgian producer Wax D debuts on Beef records with rather heavy but nostalgic 6 track album. Inspired by the past, revisited in the present and mixed in the future. 'Pink Body Ritual’ brings back blurred childhood memories while driving high on bags of energy. Marco Lazovic (Lobster Theremin) and Vision of 1994 (Harmless Youth) on the remix duties. Doc Bozique was the first release alias of Howard Dodd aka Anoesis (D*fusion Records/Octopus), making a debut in 1993 with the four track Doc Bozique EP (Unreal Records). This release reworks one of those cuts together with 3 unreleased recordings from ’93. Crisp, clear, with a touch of rave and straight out of an Akai S950 – raise your hands up!

A recent signing to Watergate Records, Biesmans delivers an inspiring indie disco work, capped off by a remix by Fideles.

The Belgian-born producer, live act and sound designer has crafted a nostalgia-driven delight; ‚Trains, Planes & Automobiles’ is brimming with retro synths and digi stabs, reminiscent of a Pac-Man session.
Heavy with bottom end punch, Fideles deliver a stellar breaks interpretation of the original, which kicks with plenty of sentimental spirit. ‘Save The Night’ is a gem, uplifting keys, swirling layers of synths and a hook-ridden vocal sealing its impact.

What a beautiful summer it is, right? And more sunshine in our life to see close friend and artist since day one, Ordonez, back at his home base Mother Recordings.

After hit breaking records and some intermezzos on labels as Brobot or Roger Sanchez’s UNDER THE RADR, the adorable Ecuadorian will release his fifth solo EP „Love Like This feat. Hassib on JUL 17, yeah!

„Love Like This feat. Hassib“ is a summer, good feeling and hands in the air track. The funky grooving percussion pushes this track along while Ordonez weaves in the melody from a warm grand piano and adds to the magic with some seductive vocals. This track is love, joy and happiness pur.

Next is „Dance Some More“, more than seven minutes of disco music with hot guitar licks, vocal cuts and rubber kicks that are groove based and inviting. The drop after the long break is just... no words can describe it! House Music all night long, let’s dance!

Francesco Tristano really needs no introduction lately, his music speaks volumes and his reputation precedes him; with that said we are happy to share 'Place On Lafayette' with you once again, this time including some stunning remixes. The first one is a collaboration between two highly respected artists: Thomas Gandey and Radio Slave. The two take the track further into tech-house territory with the percussion driving while multiple layers begin the fall into one another, achieving a beautifully elegant and jazzy end result. Guti's vision is much deeper, with hints of dub here and there as the artists drives the tension up and creates a stunning groove. The final remix come from Tuff City Kids, who are known for their sometimes unconventional approach to making music, and in this case, it works. They channel a raw vibe and create something that is quite possibly the furthest thing from the original in terms of percussion. The pianos keep the thread strong, and the rhythm takes care of the rest.

Dubfire’s relationship with Gregor Tresher started 12 years ago, when the producer remixed Gregor’s signature track ‘A Thousand Nights’. Ever since it was clear that the German talent would have his own release on SCI+TEC. For the minimal melodic two-tracker ‘Ghostmachine’, Gregor teamed up with his longtime collaborator and Croatian legend Petar Dundov. This collaboration is one that never disappoints.

Christopher Rau is back in the house of Smallville. Four irresistible cuts, the keys to outer-worlds. Driving, yet playful. Sweet, yet haunting. There is only one whocan do it like this. Make sure to lock the door and get lost.

Following his excellent ‘Rhy’ EP last October, Tim Engelhardt crafts a spellbinding return to Watergate Records.
A prodigal talent at just 22-year-old, Cologne’s Engelhardt stands at the vanguard of Germany’s new breed of electronic music talent. Prolific and passionate in equal measures, the artist has kept busy during lockdown sharing a series of tracks and edits he’s made on Bandcamp titled ‘The Notebook’. His refined production approach gets better with each release, as exemplified by his latest offering, ‘Rooted’.
The title track introduces itself with a punchy kick drum pattern, before a brew of organic percussion and a multi-layered key sequence give the track a memorable bite. ‘Brought to Bare’ combines golden soundscapes, rolling beats and bubbling drum lines. ‘Future Matter’ illustrates his finely developed sound design skills, as delicate strings rub shoulders with a building melody line and a sturdy low groove that hits with chugging impact after the break.

Now, after much anticipation, the world-renowned compilation will see the light of day once more in the form of Spirits IV, the fourth instalment in Spirits’ ever-evolving saga. The A-side kicks off with Alex Kennon and Pete Tong’s Apache with a stirring intensity, gently winding between spirit-infused vocals and resonant kick-hat combos. Indicative of the track’s progression, we are taken on a celestial journey through starry-eyed synths and soft whispering hats.

Echoe-founder Francesca Lombardo showcases her decade-long production experience in Freak On Sea, providing a dubby-leaning club cut that features progressive key changes throughout before ANTS regular Andrea Oliva takes no prisoners on Rawman, serving up a near six-minute cut of pummeling kicks that build into a brooding synth-fuelled crescendo.

The third release on the Viennese Techno label is a 3-tracker by Buffered Multiple.

Censor Music welcomes London Modular Alliance with four original tracks from key member Phil Ventre and a remix from Censor Music boss Alex Jann.

The record opens with title track Glass Cannon - a paranoid and spatial electro bleeper. Jann elevates the dystopian feels with some bang in his Corrupt Data Mix, working some wigged-out mechanics up into this kicking dance floor mover.

On the other side Ventre plays with beat constructions having full on fun with his creativity. Lo-slung drums and floating synth stabs open up Mom’s Knife before it builds into a pacey shuffler. Super Hang On launches off tumbling, cut-up amen’s which land on a jumpy kick and dirging bassline. Low Swung shows off Ventre’s beat programming at his most syncopated and frantic, a neat ending for this varied release from a modular synth expert.

German duo Raumakustik are next up on Hot Creations with Animal / Waves, a stunning two track release that features a re-edit from label frontman Jamie Jones.

Animal starts proceedings, as a bouncing reverberating kick gives way to a synth-filled build up. An echoing vocal sample states “acid feel”, before hitting once again with a choppy, swinging bassline. Next up, Jamie Jones delivers a re-edit of Waves, featuring tinny hi-hats, hollow pops and a bouncing arcade build up that is guaranteed to cause a stir on any dancefloor.

Having released their Raider EP on sub-label Hot Trax and Dem A Pree on Emerald City, Raumakustik make their first appearance on Hot Creations. Respected producers in the house and techno scenes, they have also released on the likes of Suara, Toolroom and Microtonal Records. Jamie Jones is someone who needs little introduction. Founder of Hot Creations as well as the Paradise event series, there are few feats left for the Welshman to conquer. Countless esteemed releases coupled with a passion-lead vision have seen Jones become a true master of his craft.

A2. "Imagine a beautiful lady acting like a robot in a super green garden under a glittering sun. She is clicking her arms and legs according to a simple 2-steppy texture and she is occasionaly singing nothing understandable except for a surfer-like interjection. Short-release synths and ethereal pads complete the picture adding some kind of nostalgic vibes to it. Yoyoyo!"

A3. Pohl strikes back with a moody a brilliant track on his own imprint Ovnie. „Traveling....“ has all the incredients to make you shake even at your home-office. A curly simple lead melody, a heavy old-school Bassline, crispy jacking drums and ascendant synth strings that colide with pealing LFO’ish addicting bleeps to a perfect dance track.

B1. Samuel delivers a more funky breakbeat vision with acid zaps, bleeping tones and reverse percussions to keep the pace up and down a sure track to keep the dancefloor jacking.

B2. Test tube is one of many unreleased collabs by Luks & Kizoku. The moodiest one of the bunch, it is driven by breaky percussion, resonant basslines and lush keys.
