Four of the strongest club mixes from the Deluxe version of PBR Streetgng’s ‘Late Night Party Line’ will make their way to their rightful vinyl home on March 15th.

The four tracks here have been hand-picked for maximum musical power and all bring something different to the floor. PBR Streetgang - Montu’ (Paul Woolford Remix) is the first, with a signature Woolford piano powering this pristine house music instrumental all the way from Leeds. Next up is a particularly percussive production from fast rising Berliner Cinthie. ‘I Left My Heart’ (Cinthie Remix) is one for Panorama Bar and Peckham floors alike.

Then ‘Money, Casino, Brass’ (Hercules & Love Affair Remix) steps up on the flip, a decidedly daring and different take from Love Affair disco legend Andy Butler. And then finally, Gerd Janson and Philip Lauer take us down an almost Green Velvet coloured house road for their peak-time TCK vocal take on ‘Everything Changes’. The Tuff City Kids remix of PBR and former Rapture vocalist Mattie Safer closes this exclusive vinyl package off in fine style.

Another rare nugget culled from West Ends incredibly influential back catalog. "There's Never Been Someone Like You" is a smoothed out soulful Disco jam and a Paradise Garage classic! Produced by the mighty Kenton Nix whose credits include working on records for Taana Gardner, Gwen McCrae and The Treacherous Three among many others and featuring the exceptional vocal talents of underground Soul singer Bobby Youngblood.

Kenton Nix was something of a prodigious production talent who worked on numerous independent and major label projects and was a good friend of Larry Levan and had the honor of hearing his rough mixes and versions through the Paradise Garage sound-system which helped shape the end result of the records he was involved in. "There's Never Been Someone Like You" has always been a popular and sought after 12" among Disco / Boogie / Funk collecting aficionados since it's release nearly 34 years ago in 1980 and continues to be an influential record now in contemporary dance music. An utterly essential Disco-groove!

This is the very first time this record has been re-issued and this pressing features both the long "dance" version and shorter 7" mixes of the track just like the original pressing from 1980. It has been re-mastered and re-pressed with the permission of and in conjunction with West End Records, New York City.

Disco Reggae Funk & Punk sensibilities are effortlessly fused in these classic recordings from the undisputed masters of rhythm - Sly & Robbie.

These Compass Point recordings became the bed for some iconic songs, however the backing tracks themselves were missing in action.

Washed up on a distant shore, the original tapes have revealed these previously unheard Instrumentals, showcasing the talents of Shakespeare, Dunbar, Badarou & crew.

The releases features the original versions plus new mixes Purple Disco Machine & Lorenz Rhode, Riva Star, Breakbot & Irfane and Harvey Sutherland. Exclusive to the vinyl are Riva Starr’s Skylight Mix and the Harvey Sutherland Instrumental version.

Constant Sound offshoot Cardiology's latest boundary-blurring re-edit release comes courtesy of Alexny, an Argentinian rising star who has previously released a wealth of music on all manner of digital-only imprints. He hits the ground running with 'Everybody Get Up', sneakily adding new beats, bass and musical touches to a string-drenched old disco jam, before applying the same house-style approach to a hybrid disco/electrofunk cut on 'Get On The Floor'. Over on side B, 'Give It To Me' is a chunkier and more bass-heavy disco-house bumper, while 'Do It You Got It' is a rolling, filter-sporting revision of a particularly spacey, turn-of-the-80s disco workout.

Second 'Disco Fruit Sampler' release is here. All-star Disco Fruit artists once again : Hotmood, C. Da Afro, Mitiko and Loshmi. Disco Fruit offers up a suitably juicy re-edits, tasty revisions and sun-ripened reworks. As you'd expect, there's plenty to get your teeth into from start to finish.

The label is delighted to welcome Kris Baha with his first 12" for Especial. After killer remixes of Sfire and Red Axes for the label, his name as an artist, with his darker take on dance music, has risen and risen.

With releases on Bahnsteig 23, CockTail d'Amore and Pinkman, Baha has become a respected artist in just a few years. Building analogue equipped studios in Melbourne and Berlin, DJing, producing and mixing have all led to atonal ear, where success came through dedication.

Following his debut album Palais, Barely Alive acts as release from these years of sweat. A call to all in this modern world, the song exemplifies a move from club music to a freedom in sound and song, as vox crash against 808 and Arp 2600. Remixes start with Timothy J Fairplay a name synonymous with Especial. Here TJF laces his trademark echoplexxed wash for a cold wave mover. Next prodigy Job Sifre builds on his acclaimed debuts with a remodel that goes straight to 'that' basement, mixing his love of electro, new wave and industrial. To close, the legend of Das Ding creates a re-alternate remix, fusing his unique fuzz with Baha's ode for a brittle finale.

After an absolutely unforgettable wax-based debut, See-Saw is back with its second vinyl release, Discipline Of Swing Vol. 2.
In at pole position is Hotmood with 'Seductive Look', a funk filled mover with lashings of percussion, sexy vocals, and a brass section that'll have you jumping out of your seat. Combined with an uber funky bassline, 'Seductive Look' is bound to seduce the disco lover in you!
Up at the A2 slot is 'Time To Move' by C Da. Afro, a filter sweeping, soul fuelled number with brass, bass and backing vocals aplenty. Want the crowd to start moving? Then hit them with Time To Move and watch them sway.
First up on the flip side is 'Space Ranger' by Ziggy Phunk. A combination of scintillating synths, gyrating guitars, and bouncing bass makes 'Space Ranger' feel like a disco in orbit. Like a satellite, this track will be orbiting your head for days to come!
Last up, we have Alexny with 'Umbele', a freaky little number to finish off a perfect compilation. Succulent sax permeates the track from start to end, interspersed with gnarly, 70s synths and a rhythm that won't give up! The perfect opening or closing track for any discerning Disco DJ!

For the first time, these exclusive extended versions of NJOI's seminal tracks are available as a 3 coloured disc vinyl-only release. Carefully lifted from their original early 90's live sets, these tracks have been re-crafted, extended and mastered to todays sonic standards and we're very proud to present 'Collected' on Food Music.

This project is much more than simply re-issuing the cream of NJOI's catalogue. As we enter 2022, we begin a year long journey with the duo, eventually unveiling 30 year old unreleased sought-after material for the first time ever, together with remixes from some of the todays finest electronic artists. Nuovo Testamento is the Los Angeles & Bologna-based trio featuring members of Horror Vacui, Sheer Mag, Tørsö, Terremoto and Crimson Scarlet.

With the addition of Chelsey Crowley on vocals, synthesists Andrea Mantione & Giacomo Zatti found that their initial coldwave tracks, originally written for the male voice, took on an undeniable synthpop feel. While still recording these songs for the debut Exposure EP in 2019, the band leaned into this evolution and their shared love of Italo disco, beginning to write what would become the New Earth LP.

Recorded in isolation during a global pandemic, New Earth is a dark Italo record dappled with light. For eight new tracks, dancing synths perfectly balance the rich dream of a charmed life with melancholy. Guitars have taken a step back, allowing disco beats to flood the floor and joyful fun to prevail. The record anticipates a return to dance spaces, imagines shared experiences and celebrates personal power.

Produced by sound engineer Maurizio Baggio (The Soft Moon, Boy Harsher and many more), with vocal recording by Riki and featuring guest vocals from B. Sven Gustavson (Spectres, Nouveaux), New Earth reflects international influences from the goth club scene to Hi-NRG classics, reminiscent of Italian Baby Records, Mute Records and the spaces in between.

California based producer Never Dull has been putting out his fair dose of 'Soulful' infused floor stompers since last year. Making his debut on 'Night Shift Records' he decided to go back to the basics. Sampling and re-arranging Soul and Disco music from the mid to late 70's, Never Dull complements the great vocal choruses of the tracks by adding layers of sounds. Organic drums, disco baselines and electric soulful pianos give this EP a magic touch, making this his Go-To 'Discollection' when it comes to choosing a banger to keep the night going on the dance floo

Throughout Ibadan Records' deeply-rooted New York history and its ongoing transcendent surge into the future, there are certain special moments in House music history to acknowledge. This brings us to our 138th Ibadan Records installment by Kerri Chandler. Kerri Chandler was one of the many artists who benefited from Jerome Sydenham's artistic direction. The two initially met in 1991, when Sydenham was a part of the A&R team that signed Chandler's debut single to Atlantic Records. After Sydenham founded Ibadan Records in 1995, the two collaborated on several groundbreaking projects that stand as a testament to House music history and to their long-lasting friendship. Chandler's early career evolved through illustrious House remixes and productions. Tracks like Drink On Me, Shoe-B-Doo, While We're Young and Ain't That a Bitch truly exemplify the trailblazing and original innovative spirit of Kerri Chandler and the birth of his signature sound. Leading things off, the Hivern records boss is a dream pairing for Nicola, delivering a deeply atmospheric but powerfully rhythmic club version of Naeku.

Rising Tunisian producer Azu Tiwaline dives into the cavernous soundscapes of Third Eye Dub, her North African influence a natural fit for the mesmerising Oud solo played by Nasiri.

Highlife founder Auntie Flo stretches the eminently catchy and cheerful Aima across a light and ethereal groove. Perfectly anti-depressant vibe from the creator and curator behind the brand new Ambient Flo online station.

Finally, Multi Culti label mates contribute a broken beat micro-dosed micro dub of Naeku, a closed-eye wiggler to tickle the pineal glands of the cult heads that consistently look to this globally garnered record label for psychedelic guidance.

In mind is the introduction of new duo, Weird Weather and their debut EP, Bamboo Room. Slotting perfectly in the label family with 4 cuts covering dark basement club music through to calmer, balmier moments. LJ Horstman and D Thornley, conjoined metal nerds from opposite ends of the London suburbs who bonded over love of dub mixes, create Weird Weather. This debut collects tracks from four years of jamming, constructing, dubbing and re-dubbing. Cheap synths played with strict finger musicianship, deep bass over 4/4, clattering Roland drum boxes and analogue pads and submerged vocals calling out over the noise of the digital Coffee Maker. Full spectrum of influences are apparent for the heads with nods to Yello, Jah Shaka and the Horn "Megamixes" of Frankie Goes To Hollywood and ZTT alumini - all go in the dub blender with a slug of 80s rock bombast. 4 demos passed down and the mixing desk skills of homeboys Mr TJ Fairplay and Mr J Paton are added for good measure. To start, Sequence 5 is a one-take body-music desk dub. The relentless riding rhythms and faint harmonics pull you to the floor in unknown fashion. Trash Dolphin follows as an aquatic New-Wave meets NY-house in-joke that went too far. Sample bits out the window to reach nirvana. Taking the flip is Bamboo Room. A sub 90 bpm, euphoric mind-melter for the post Ambient House generation. The true winner with tranquil(ity) bass and psychedelic (research) lab trip shifts. Seamlessly completed with the poolside 'Ormus Mix' for the suave recliners. Thanks to Eric Dan for phantom support via the LCD screen. Onwards and upwards. "

Based on Francesco Fisotti's real life experience, Lido Sirena wants to be a sound details of late 80s summer on Salento coast. The new Apulian sound, also called "Adriatic Funk", is a perfect mix between floating disco strings and solid weighty kick drums.

Louie Vega goes back to his freestyle music roots and collaborates with one of the top artists in the game George LaMond. Born in Georgetown, Washington D.C. LaMond has released over seven albums and has had many top club and radio hits throughout his career. He’s had a number one salsa smash with “Que Te Vas” which spawned an RIAA-certified gold album. It was in no time that Vega reached out to LaMond with an idea of going back to his freestyle roots and recording 5 artists from that genre of music.

“George LaMond first up”, Vega says, “we wanted to redo a jam that was also played in the freestyle club world and is a vintage classic, the Spanish band Barrabas hit “Woman” was the perfect one to remake. Long Island dj/producer Frankie C was also working on a “Woman” remake and brought it to me for Vega Records. I thought George LaMond had the perfect voice for it, and when it came time for the session he knew exactly how to execute the song, I then brought in my Elements Of Life band on the rhythm section we were able to create a four floor percussive groove and a salsa version as well. The signature Barrabas electric guitar riffs courtesy of Mike Ciro, Gene Perez on bass, Axel Tosca on keyboards, and Luisito Quintero on percussion was a perfect fit!”.

The release offers sizzling remixes by house music pioneer David Morales, taking the track straight to peak time on the dance floor with a main and dub version. Frankie C Long Island Native, produces full on House and Brazilian versions, he knew exactly what needed to be done. There are over 8 versions to choose from and the vinyl package will be stunning. Serious holy grail business on this rare 12-inch extended disco version of Lorraine Johnson - The More I Get, The More I Want on Prelude Records. Original copies of this promo-only cut will set you back £400+ and it doesn’t take a genius to work out why. Produced by Jesse Boyce and Moses Dillard and mixed by Rafael Charres the man behind the mixing desk for classics such as Rare Pleasure - Superfine Feeling and Keith Barrow - Turn Me Up, it’s a dream team cohort that created this Paradise Garage classic.

Backed with equally enthralling, Boyce and Dillard produced, Francois K mixed ‘Feed The Flame’, also loved by the Garage dance floor.

Robin S's 90's anthem 'Show Me Love" gets a classic disco soul makeover by Chicago native producer EMMACULATE.

After topping the Traxsource charts for four weeks at the end of 2021, and with support from the likes of Louie Vega, Danny Krivitor or Todd Terry, this very much in-demand release is now available for the first time in a physical format.

DJ Tennis's Life And Death welcomes electronic innovator Moscoman for a label debut that superbly showcases his broad array of club-ready but widescreen sounds. Moscoman is based in Berlin but brings plenty of worldly influences to his music, not least from his homeland of Israel. Next to musical explorations on his own Disco Halal label, he has served up everything from raw and rugged machine disco to melodic techno via wonky house on ESP Institute, Diynamic and I'm A Cliché. He is someone who embraces whatever takes his fancy and has a wilfully random approach to making music that results in never less than thrilling and original tracks. That is the case again here: right from the off 'Wave Rave' is an unusual but effective offering that pairs hands-in-the-air, trance-inducing chords with more reflective melodies and rugged drums. After that one packs a truly emotional punch, 'Dinner For One' is downright dirty. Wild, detuned synths spray about over 'Spastilk'-era snares and rolling drums and the whole thing works you into a lather. On the flip the mood changes again. This time, '550' is a dreamy and zoned out house track with a gorgeous and acoustic lead melody that encourages your mind to wander as you drift along in the warming groove. Last of all, 'Space Comfort' is playful number with sci-fi keys bleeping up and down the scale while harmonic keys and withering retro synth chords bring a sense of spookiness to the fore.

As a first major statement since her 2018 debut album Hermetica, Perel, the newest addition to the Kompakt family, delivers her startling new single “Real”. Perel gets face to face with the world as it is now: “Has the world always been that gloomy?Or is it just a cataract? Maybe I’ll just wake up tomorrow from a deep sleep and then all of this isn’t real.". Tellingly, Perel deals with this the best way she knows how, essaying a lush, melancholy paean, wrenched from the soul, and lit up by her unabashed love of synth pop and electronic music.

Perel broke cover when she was signed up to James Murphy’s legendary DFA label, with whom she released a string of lovely singles and her debut album, Hermetica, a gorgeous, deeply dreamy collection of songs, some featuring her Nico-esque smoky singing voice. Balancing her singular productions with a career as an in-demand DJ, Perel’s come a long way from her early years, growing up in Saxony as a youth in love with the sounds of new wave and gothic pop.

Recent EPs “Karlsson” (Uncanny Valley, 2019) and “Star” (Running Back, 2021) consolidate an impression of an artist with a singular, unswayable vision. But “Real” is something else. There are hints here of Mororder-esque disco, in the pinprick arpeggio that percolates through the song, and of the Berlin School of electronic music, in the lush synths. You can still hear touches of post-punk and Neue Deutsche Welle, too, in “Real”’s moody countenance, and Perel’s vocals, but it’s all delivered with the knowing insouciance that’s fundamental to any great pop moment.

Riven with desire and despair, “Real” is a hymnal sigh for a world unmade. “I sometimes feel so disconnected from the world,” Perel sighs. “To me, it’s hard to ignore the problems of the world in order to experience any happiness or joy. It eats you from the inside.” But Perel fights on: “Despite, there’s so much to be grateful about.”

Disclosure returned in February with the brand new ‘Ecstasy’ EP where they rolled out a track a day over five days in the same vein to their last release, the ‘Moonlight’ EP (2018). Only this time, the ‘Ecstasy’ EP was in fact, a precursor to their third album ‘ENERGY’ – set for release on August 28th on Island Records.

Soul Central return with ES002 - "Days Of Disco EP" following up Electric Shrine ES001 which firmly set the scene for this underground label, and sold out within a week of release, becoming an instant collectors piece and serious weapon for DJ's in the know.

Here we have a collection of raw Disco inspired cuts starting with "Just Friends" which is a serious neo soul stomper crowned with a prominent sing-a-long chorus. Whilst "Party Together" offers a relentless Boogie bass overload. Third inline comes "Your Smile" which takes the form of a sensitive Soul ballad vocal, adding in classic ascending strings and some modern House syncopation, turning in a deep journey laced with dancefloor dominating tones.
The final track "The Michigan Slide" is a real disco vibe that revisits a 300 year old Bach melody on Clavinet.

The complete EP is dusty, groovy and banging to say the least, maintaining a resounding quality that this standout UK act always deliver... great music that makes you want to dance.
