Invada Records are proud to announce the vinyl release of two volumes of music from season 2 of hit NBC television series HANNIBAL by Brian Reitzell. The two volumes of music come spread across two double LPs with each volume released on two different variants - 140gram black vinyl and travertine grey for Season 2 Volume 1, and 140gram black vinyl and hemochrome

red for Season 2 Volume 2. Accompanying the release, director David Slade has provided rare photos from his personal collection for the artwork. Each double LP is housed in a gatefold sleeve and comes with a download card. The limited edition release (2500 copies per volume) is set for release on December 15th 2014. All of the music featured on the Hannibal LP's hail from the second season of the series and have been sequenced in the chronological order they appears on the show itself, allowing for an essential listening experience as dictated by the music's creator. Over the last decade and a half, multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and music supervisor Brian Reitzell has been on a mission to further elevate the layer that music adds to a film's life. He has created his own unique method of scoring films, drawing equally from his experience as a recording and touring musician with bands such as Redd Kross and Air, and his massive knowledge of recorded music. Acting as both music supervisor and composer, he often blurs the lines between score, source music, and sound design. His vision is to create a seamless landscape of songs, score, and found music for each soundtrack. Brian's explorations of new sounds add unique character to visual images. He often has instruments custom built or even invented for individual film scores and wholeheartedly embraces the Brian Eno philosophy of the recording studio as his

instrument. Brian has thrived on collaborations with musicians from outside the Hollywood film composer network and has worked with some of today's most acclaimed musical artists including Air, Richard James (Aphex Twin), Kevin Shields (My Bloody Valentine), Elliott Smith, Britt Daniel (Spoon), Jim James (My Morning Jacket), Explosions In The Sky, Fever Ray, Robert Plant, Daniel Lopatin and Ensemble Matheus. Brian's past films include THE VIRGIN SUICIDES, LOST IN TRANSLATION (for which he received a BAFTA award nomination), CQ, FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, STRANGER THAN FICTION, THUMBSUCKER, MARIE ANTOINETTE, THE BROTHERS BLOOM, 30 DAYS OF NIGHT, BEGINNERS, and RED RIDING HOOD. His video game credits include his critically

acclaimed score for THQ's RED FACTION: ARMAGEDDON and the upcoming WATCH DOGS for Ubisoft. Reitzell scored Turner Prize winner Elizabeth Price's WEST HINDER video installation. He has also scored and music supervised Sofia Coppola's latest feature, THE BLING RING as well as Gus Van Sant's PROMISED LAND.

Ennio Morricone, for Marco Bellocchio's masterpiece debut film I PUGNI IN TASCA, composed some mysterious and obsessive music for soprano voice, harp, harpsichord, strings, alternated to lounge music of the period, swing and jazz, creating a great contrast with the dark mood of the movie.

Movie star Vincent Chase, together with his boys Eric, Turtle, and Johnny, are back - and back in business with super-agent-turned-studio head Ari Gold. One of the summer's most anticipated movies, Entourage, is based on the massively popular HBO series by the same name.

Starring the principal cast of the series, (Kevin Connolly, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara, and Jeremy Piven), the film (and series) highlights the inner workings of Hollywood in a comedic manner and does so with a great soundtrack propelling it to a worldwide audience. That tradition of big tracks to go along with the overtop acting is coming to the big screen and the film soundtrack has been unveiled. Among those who will appear on the tracklist include Diplo, Pharrell, Tame Impala, Jane's Addiction and Royal Blood. Other tracks on the soundtrack include classics like 'We Fly High' from Jim Jones and Mase's 'Feel So Good.'

Il Diavolo nel Cervello" (Devil in the brain) is a film directed in 1971 by Sergio Sollima and screened at the beginning of the following year; it's a psychological thriller in which tension is determined by the characters' psyche more than their actions, and is therefore an atypical product, that was offered to an audience who at the time were mostly into the 'Dario Argento suspence', made of serial killers, ferocious murders and a pinch of erotism.
"Il diavolo nel cervello" works on an almost-full symphonic register: on a strings-made ground we have piano, harpsichord, flutes and brass instruments. It's a very airy work that sips moments of tension, where the pace is dictated solely by jazzy drums played with bristles. Undoubtedly, one of the best productions of the Maestro from those early '70s, including Bruno Nicolai as a conductor and Edda Dell'Orso singing choirs.
Yet another blend of music and imagery from the fervent Seventies to be rediscovered, here revived in LP format with a gatefold cover and a completely new graphic layout.

Following the success gained by the first press of this item, especially released for the Record Store Day 2015, "Il mio nome è Nessuno" (My name is Nobody) is now reissued with new artwork and on black vinyl, but still including a 60x30cm poster with flyers and lobby cards.

"Il mio nome è Nessuno" is an a typical western, difficult to classify as it's placed halfway between the founders of the genre of the '60s and the comedies of the following decade. Sponsored and partly directed by Sergio

Leone, it came out in 1973 and received great success, thanks to the presence of the actors Terence Hill and Henry Fonda, in a perfect balance between light-hearted comedy and the more serious side of the 'spaghetti western' genre.

The other element of the film comes from the music of Ennio Morricone, who writes and orchestrates a really varied soundtrack, which easily adapts itself to the various moods in the movie. There is everything: tensive

soundscapes, epic symphonic rides - directly referring the "Dollar Trilogy", frivolous and light-hearted moments, all mixed with a disarming naturalness.

Given the popularity of the film, its soundtrack has been reprinted several times, but 35 years have passed since the last issue on vinyl! A must have not only for fans of the Maestro Morricone but, given the importance of this

"Angeli bianchi..., angeli neri" is one of the best results of the collaboration between Piero Umiliani and director Luigi Scattini. Filmed in Brazil, "Angeli bianchi..., angeli neri" (also known as "Witchcraft 70") is one of Scattini's most popular mondo films.

This soundtrack is not only an aural companion to Low Down-the acclaimed biopic of jazz pianist Joe Albany, based on the memoirs of his daughter Amy-Jo Albany-but also the perfect primer for Albany's lifework. Comprised of Albany's own compositions alongside those of Coleman Hawkins, Max Roach, Thelonious Monk, and selections from Ohad Talmor's score, this album conjures both a feel for Albany's own avant-garde, quick-tempo, bebop jazz and a mood that evokes the life of Hollywood's notorious jazz hustler.

Uncompromising in its day, Gideon's Way tackled some of the darker, more disturbing facets of detective work, and this downplayed, at times neo-realist approach is reflected in Edwin Astley's incidental music score. Cosmic Wheels is Paul and Vincent Marrone. From the ashes of their first band together—where they were known as The Moonshakers with the addition of their older brother Joe—came a new name and a new sound. Late '60s to early '70s is the name of the game here—riffs aplenty with a copious dose of heavy psych. There are clear nods to some of the brothers' most cherished influences in there too. If six words is all one had to describe this album, they would be 'Heavy Psych Rock Orgasmic Brain Burner', simple as that!

Joseph Bauer's original score to one of the most brutal independent horror movies of the last five years, Deadgirl (2008), is now available for the first time on vinyl. With music sourced from the master recordings as provided by the composer, the 12" LP will be released in a limited edition of 500 copies on 180 gram, two tone vinyl.

Sgt.Sunshine is a three piece rock band formed in Malmoe, Sweden by the guitarist and lead singer Eduardo Fernandez, bass player Pär Hallgren, and Christian Lundberg on drums. They recorded some demos around 1998-99 that placed them amongst one of the leading underground rock bands of the time. Around this time they cut a record deal with a British label called Abstract Sounds to release their first album, the same titled: Sgt. Sunshine. Heavy Psych Sounds is proud to reissue this incredible record originally released in 2002.

The decade from 1968-1978 has a pivotal importance in Italy's 20th century history, it was a period of deep social and cultural transformation on the wings of the Berkeley youth protests and the so-called 'French May' which then developed in different directions, due to the moral contradictions of one of the most conspiratory countries of the western world. The definitive loss of innocence of a nation still drunk from the economic exploits of the early sixties and yet ready for a leap into the void of the modern age, with lots of crazy and incomprehensible variables.

Years of high-tension events - beginning with the tragic massacre of Piazza Fontana and finishing with the infamous kidnapping and murderer of Aldo Moro - reflected in every aspect of the society and 'cultural building'. A palpable tension could be felt both sonically and visually.

The soundtrack of this whole world was written in real time by a bunch of enterprising composers, right in the middle of a session for some magical Italian soundtrack or even an appearance alongside the RAI (the main national broadcaster) Orchestra, who made 'creative gym' and little money while recording some instant albums for the most sought after publishers of libraries. Sonic pictures of the heyday of Italian society, truly unique from the music made by French, English or German composers in their respective countries.

The sound coming from the Italian television was as sharp as a razor blade and tasted just like lead and lachrymatory, with a howling fuzz guitar and a heavy drum to set the tumultuous scene of a society on the verge of implosion. Daniela Casa, Remigio Ducros, Alessandro Alessandroni, Stelvio Cipriani, Enzo Scoppa, Amedeo Tommasi, Franco Tamponi and the other composers featured acted as drastic audio reporters, on top of being incredible musicians. They were able to describe in just few minutes the climax they were surrounded by, using their classical heritage and training with hints of the avant-garde, at the same time as the boost of psych-rock, jazz, funk and whatever other popular musical innovation came their way. Urged to be minimalistic and so far not original - the quintessence of the library diktat - the Italian composers answered instead with an experimental vocation pushed by that same need for renewal, stimulating the entire nation in those crazy and marvelous years.

From the bizarre Polish-cinema-inspired imagery of the album's artwork to the private-press aesthetics of the original LP, the Once soundtrack has long been a mysterious artifact among rare film and electronic music collectors alike.

Written and directed by 'the father of virtual reality', the obscure art film is an allegorical tale of 'Creation' and 'Destruction' and the battle for humanity. With no surviving prints of the film traced to date, all that remains is the remarkable soundtrack.

Composed by Israeli-born classical composer, Aminadav Aloni, the score is a collection of other-worldly spatial analogue electronics, field recordings and strong overtones of
haunting Jewish liturgical music whose synergy create a soundtrack as beguiling and enigmatic as the film itself.

We are proud to be releasing SHAUN OF THE DEAD - never before released in ANY format - on gorgeous 180 Gram Vinyl.

While aware that they were working on a comedy, composers Daniel Mudford & Pete Woodhead wanted to make a score that was deadly serious and let the comedy do its own thing. "We wanted to play a straight bat,' as the English say, and treat the film as though it was a sincere and genuinely terrifying scenario." says Mudford. In doing so, they crafted a score that fits in perfectly along side the great horror scores that inspired it.

Pete & Dan's band, 'The Sons Of Silence,' was previously featured in Edgar Wright's television show Spaced before it became part of the behind the scenes soundtrack to the writing, and casting portions of production of the film. "Indeed, many of the doomier, dubbier tracks of from The Sons of Silence would blend in perfectly with my playlist, made up of John Carpenter scores, Goblin rock outs and library tracks from Dawn of The Dead. So even before Dan and Pete were definitely scoring the movie, they were already scoring the movie." Says Edgar.

The composer of the soundtrack, Craig Armstrong, is one of the most popular and in-demand composers/arrangers/performers in the film and music industry. His emotionally charged, distinctive and eloquent style of music has graced films such as Romeo + Juliet, Moulin Rouge, Ray, Love Actually, Plunkett & Macleane, World Trade Center and Elizabeth: The Golden Age. For the biopic Ray, Armstrong was awarded a Grammy Award for Best Original Score in 2004.

In conjunction with his film scoring work, Craig Armstrong has also released several albums of original music - notable collaborations include Madonna, Bono and Massive Attack to name a few.

With their first album, legendary French art-rock band Wapassou found a distinctive musical voice: well-developed melodies, rhythmic organ, prominent droning violin, and guitar doubling-up as a rhythm instrument. They often conjure up what it might have sounded like had John Cale and Stereolab formed a band in 1974, the year this album was released. The five tracks are highly original, varied and inventive, steeped in post-psychedelic rock. Although Wapassou are noted for playing without a rhythm section, the two most striking songs include bass and drums. Why some enterprising dj hasn't created a chill mix from the drum track and provocative vocals on 'Chatiment' (guitarist Karen Nickerl murmuring about the cigarettes she has consumed and that she is a killer, 'Je suis l'assassin,' in the midst of the pulsing drone of the band), we don't know. The 13+ minute long 'Trip' is a revelation: for the first two minutes you will think you stumbled into the Cocteau Twin's 'Victorialand'; the band then jam for six and a half minutes before they drop one of the trippiest ethereal breakbeat grooves you'll ever hear; the last two minutes of solo sitar are sonic lysergia of the highest quality.
